Who knew there was a right way to sleep?? I walked out with a mattress and base and I cannot wait for it to be delivered to start getting the sleep I have literally only dreamed of! 10/10 recommend Mattress Warehouse!

Terry was the most helpful sales associate that I’ve ever dealt with in any industry!! His knowledge of his product was top notch, wasn’t pushy at all, and he actually listened to me so that he could best suit me to what I needed. Which, come to find out, wasn’t what I thought I needed. I had been shopping online and thought I had it figured out. I did not. At all.His knowledge helped me understand what was going to give me the best rest for my sleep habits. There’s definitely a science to it, and he knows it inside and out. Not to mention after it was all said and done, his prices, comparing apples to apples, was about the same to what I would’ve spent online. AND I got it delivered the next day, old mattresses taken away and disposed of, and new hardware setup!! All I had to do was put my mattress protector and sheets on my new bed, and I was done!! The rest was already setup the short time they were there, and ready to be enjoyed!! You don’t get ANY of that professional assistance and disposal when you order something online. Not to mention that if you’re not happy with a mattress that you can’t try out first, the return process is always a nightmare. With local service, you have ample time to try it out to decide if you love it! If not, exchange it for a different style. It’s just that easy!!Hands down, the best service and attention to detail to date!! He’s a professional in his trade, and has made a customer for life!! Went shopping for a king adjustable for myself. Went to a competitors store & they sat at their desk & hollered across the room to answer questions. When we walked in this store, we were greeted by Terry & shown an awesome adjustable bed (& not the most expensive bed either). Not only did he show us the bed, he educated us on adjusting the bed to help different things, gave us an awesome price (so much cheaper than the competitors that I purchased my daughter a bed as well) & written instructions for me adjusting the bed like he showed us. After a long search for a good quality mattress that would relieve pressure points due a shoulder injury, I found Mattress Warehouse of Hickory online. I live in Boone, but I travel to Hickory very often to conduct business. After reading a few seemingly good reviews, I gave them a call to make a general inquiry as to the brands they carried. I inquired of the salesman who answered the phone if they carried mattresses specific to the needs of pressure points and spinal alignment. I can honestly say that I have never spoken with anyone more rude in my life. He told me he was not selling me a mattress over the phone and refused to answer my questions. At first, I was taken aback and wonderful if I truly heard what he said to me. I asked him to repeat himself. He told me the same thing again. I assured him I was not asking him to sell a mattress to me over the phone. I explained that I would be coming to Hickory soon and was interested in stopping by their store. Upon receiving his rude treatment, I told him that I did not appreciate his rudeness and that I would certainly not be coming to Mattress Warehouse of Hickory. I generally dont leave reviews unless there are exceptionally good reasons to do so or unless there are equally bad reasons to do so. After hanging up the phone, immediately, I felt compelled to write a Google review so others can know to avoid this business. If someone is not going to be nice to you prior to the sale, how will they treat you afterward? I would advise being extremely aware of this store. I prefer to do business with folks who appreciate my business.

A bed, no matter how much it vibrates, does NOT detox your blood, liver and spleen as I was told here! He told me he was going to educate me and then proceeded to talk to me as if I was in the 3rd grade. I dont talk down to people and dont like to have it done to me either. Any question I had(features or price) he met with a look like I was stupid to ask. I do know this though...When a salesman oversells any product it is a red flag to WALK AWAY and I am so glad I did.

My wife and I went to this store just to see the new mattress store in Hickory. Well we ended up getting a new Serta mattress from Terry that keeps us cool at night when we sleep. The test they did on us was very interesting and made the selection a lot easier. The pillows are really cool too. We would highly recommend this mattress store to everyone.
