Responded promptly but couldnt help us because they no longer have a tech that can service an oil furnace. I only gave three stars because their website said they serviced oil furnaces. They say oil furnaces are becoming obsolete but ours is only 10 months old.

Great service. Matt came to repair my AC unit and noticed other issues with my duct work. I am thankful for Matt’s attention to detail and expertise. I scheduled the other repairs days later. System working better than ever. Thanks

I really can’t say enough positive about this company! Rachel and Chelsea, in the office are so pleasant and helpful! Matt came out today and had us fixed with air within a couple of hours. I felt like we were a priority and they found the best option for us without breaking the bank!

I happened to be walking a clients dogs and saw Sebastian at a neighbors house. I called out to him to ask if his company did I tuneups. He was very nice and professional and gave me his business card. I called to check prices and was happy to hear they were very reasonable. Today, Sebastian performed tuneups on our two units. He did a very thorough job! We are extremely pleased with him and the service we received. We will be recommending to our neighbors.

Daniel, the technician called and said he was on the way, arrived earlier than the scheduled time, which was great. Asked several questions to narrow down the cause of the problem. Took care of the problem while answering my questions. Explained how the mini split system works. Went over what I will need to look out for and what maintenance I can do to keep the system operating at peak efficiency. Set me up with followup visits. I would highly recommend this company and I am scheduling them to install 2 units in the basement.

Daniel was great when he came to do my Spring maintenance. He was so helpful to make recommendations for a safety switch and installed it the same day. He also discussed options for future repairs if I continue to have Freon leakage. My mom had to be at the house for me and he was so great he contacted me on my cell to explain and approve any thing before he did and the cost. I’m so glad I have Rye maintaining my unit now.

I cant say enough positive things about the Rye team. From the quote process to the final installation, they were amazing! They did a complete install of a new gas furnace and new AC on three levels of our home (basement, main floor and upstairs). At the time, our upstairs did not have any form of heat or air, except for a Pioneer mini-split upstairs (which was absolutely horrible). Our home has a flat roof and we were told numerous times by other companies that normal forms of heat and air could not be ran to the upstairs since we did not have attic space. Rye had an amazing solution without that major price. We could not be happier with results. They did everything in one day and the price was extremely fair and reasonable. And we LOVE our gas furnace. We highly recommend Rye Heating and Air. :-)

When we purchased our home in August we had Rye (Brad) come out to give a quote on AC replacement. While we decided to hold off for a bit, their level of service on that experience inspired us to reach out when our furnace needed assistance (as in, hadn’t ever tried using it since our move 5 months ago).Sebastian did our service call, discovered it’s not a common system, doing what he could on Friday since the temps were dropping significantly to get us heat. I have been working with these guys for over a year and they have been a very good company to work with. I opened a laundromat in Hickory they did all of the duct and vent installs for my dryers. They did an excellent job. I also use them for HVAC maintenance and they are Johnny on the spot with any issues I have had. Just a week ago they installed 3 new units on the roof and they were nothing short of perfect. They started install at 7:30 and were complete and cleaned up by noon. I recommend they for HVAC to people who ask for recommendations.

This company is great! There good old fashion customer service like it should be. From the lady in the office to the tech man that came out to the house was very friendly. The office calls back to make sure that you where happy with everything and the tech man explained everything he was doing. I havent seen good customer service like this in a long time.

We needed help on a Saturday (Jan 2nd) and started calling HVAC companies close to us. No one was open because of the weekend & holiday. We called Rye and our call was answered immediately. The technician was at our house within 15 mins of the call and immediately started working. He had our unit fixed within an hour and even found issues from the initial installers (not Rye) and helped us get pictures so we can submit it to that company. Rye will be our go-to for HVAC repair!

Saturday, 5:30 am, work up in a sweat. Indoor house temp was 78 degrees. I scratch my sweat dampened head and wonder sleepily how is that possible when the thermostat was set at 72 degrees? Ugh! The A/C must be broken. By 11:00 am the thermostat was reading 82 degrees and climbing. So, after multiple calls to multiple HVAC companies I finally reached Gina Rye at Rye Heating & Air of Hickory. Gina said it might take a couple of hours but, yes, they could have a technician at my house today. Well, exactly 1 hour from my phone call with Gina (and much to my surprise) Wes from Rye Heating & Air was at my front door. And, as luck would have it, they specialize and install York systems which is what we have. Our problem today was a broken capacitor which was a quick and easy fix. Wes went on to check the freon, voltage, coils and various other things in both units and reported that all was good. Price was reasonable and we on are way back to being cool & comfy again. I highly recommend Rye Heating & Air and will definitely be using them again.

We have never used Rye for our AC service. However, as I was calling around trying to find someone that could come out ASAP, they did everything possible they could do to help me. Very professional and courteous. Very polite and considerate. Would highly recommend due to how they treat you just over a phone call!

These guys were great. My HVAC unit died the day my house was supposed to go on the market, and they rushed out and replaced everything for me quickly, neatly, and affordably. I was at the end of my rope when I called them but they were really fantastic to provide the information and equipment I needed to get back on track. Would absolutely recommend.

I met Brad Rye and his wife Gina a few years ago when I sold them their home. They were new to the area and soon Brad opened Rye Heating and Air. Since I already knew the kind of guy he was I decided to give him a call for a client of mine needing a new HVAC system. He was very quick to respond to my request, as a matter of fact he met me out at the house the very same afternoon to look at the job. He did that job and since then he has worked with several more of my clients. I have even called him on a Sunday night with an emergency for one of my clients whose heat wasnt working and he was there within the hour. It really gets no better than that. As a Realtor I need people that I trust and can depend on. Recently I recommended him for the job of replacing our entire system at church. After one meeting he impressed them so much they offered him the job, which he has already completed. I cant say enough about Rye Heating and Air and would recommend them to anyone. Honesty, dependability and integrity makes for a great company.

We have used Rye Heating and Air since we bought our house two years ago. They were very responsive and always took time to explain what the problems were with our old system. We had to have a new heat pump installed a couple weeks ago after the old one began failing. Rye was able to install the new system three days after we gave the ok. There were a couple of small issues to correct afterwards and but they were taken care of quickly like it was their pleasure to do so. This kind of customer service is hard to find these days and that is why we will always use Rye. Thanks again to Brad, Gina and Derrick.
