Since it has been many years visiting this place (under another name and having a bad experience), I thought I would give it another try. I was sorely disappointed again. I arrived Friday morning at 9:30. There were two employees outside refilling produce. I did not receive any acknowledgment of my presence. Okay, I get it you are too busy restocking to say Good morning, Hello, Need any help?. I picked out a watermelon and proceeded inside to pick more produce. Two employees inside talked amongst themselves about how tired they were and again no communication to other patrons or myself. I then went to check out an abundance of produce. Again, customer service was lacking and I had to ask what my total was. I paid, she bagged the produce. AGAIN, no thank you NOTHING. I then left wrangling 2 packed bags and 1 watermelon, trying to open the door without any help. I guess I will have to wait again for many years to revisit this place.Please bring back common decency and good customer service.

I love stopping here they have the best stuff. The prices are fabulous I can get 6 vegetable plants for the price of 1 at a hardware store and the price of flower 🌺🌹plants are the same but they are still great plants. The fresh fruit 🍓 and veggies are nice too. Plus they have special items like fresh eggs, jelly, pizza, pies just to much to list but I hope you get the idea of what you can find 😁

Great place to go. Amazing fruits and veggies. Also a great big selection of Ashe county cheese. Prefer fresh eggs? Well they have white and brown. Need ground beef? They have that as well. Got off work later than expected and you dont have time to cook a full meal but dont want to go out, they have meals already made, just add a few ingredients like pasta sauce or Alfredo sauce. They also have the pies as well. Jams, jellies, salsa, pickled things too! Go check them out. Im there often. Love the prices!

Stopped in here for some potatoes and squash and was very impressed. Lots of good looking vegetables and fruits. We also got the biggest watermelon Ive ever seen for sale in a retail place for 8 bucks. Very highly recommend!

Individual at the door was somewhat rude as I came in he told me i had 5 minutes to get my stuff and be checked out cause the store wad closing.

Beautiful food. High priced. Today they had cherries. They had no flavor. Okra was yummy I had the other week from here. Im here to get more for todays meal. Yay!

Beautiful ferns and plants are sold here. There produce is locally grown, which isn’t common in these parts.Worth the extra penny for sure.Great customer service.Would love to meet the farmer to hear how he grows such wonderful products.Thanks again.We will be back!!!

The sweet potatoes were bad and some of the oranges we purchased were bad. No (exterior) signs of being bad. We always try to support local merchants but we will not go back!
