I miss this place and some of the workers there. Im not sure if corey the manager still works there but he was so awesome especially to my ex fiance and i. I went there all the time & my friends were there it was such a nice and friendly place to get along with everyone & actually have great conversations with everyone. I had preordered alot there, was there during a prestige label of theirs and got alot of awesome stuff there. Will stop here again nost definitly if i ever go through hickory NC again. ♡

My main reason for going to Gamestop anymore is to buy collectibles, statues and action figures. The staff are excellent and they know my name and number by my face alone which is cool. I always feel very welcome.

I was there on 5/28/21 at about 5pm. I bought three games, one was supposed to be used. I was using a gift card so I didn’t really pay attention but they rang the used game up as new. When I looked at my receipt and went back to confront them, they said they didn’t have a used copy and it is policy to still keep the used box out. Didn’t bother to inform me while I was making the purchase and the manager wouldn’t do anything to correct the issue besides return the game. Lousy customer service and quick to run a scam on you. Watch out!

This is the best GameStop Ive been to and I have been to a lot. The employees there really get me and its nice that they not only remember my face, but they remember my game preferences. Sometimes they recall our discussions, but thats not surprising because most of them are outrageously hilarious! XD

This place is horrible. They dont give you enough credit for items that you turn in that are used and their new stuff is priced about as high as anybody else around. I just stood in line for 25 minutes while they checked out an Xbox 360 console that they ended up giving the guy $3 for. If my son had not received a gift card for his birthday I would not have even been here. There were five people in line behind me and two more in front of me while they were checking out that Xbox. The lady directly in front of me eventually gave up and walked out. Only one person working and it shows poor management when youre not fully staffed on the Labor Day Holiday. I dont blame the guy whos working here cuz he seems to be doing his best but the company as a whole just does not impress me.

First time being in a GameStop. Went there to pick up a game for my daughter and I was completely lost. The gentleman there was very helpful in helping me find the game that I was looking for, and finding another one for her that we thought would be age appropriate. Definitely will be back to this store.

Though the staff is friendly and polite. The guy helping us seemed not to understand what we were looking for even after showing him from the web site what we were looking for. He even got another employee to help him after she looked at my phone a could of time she advised that a store 15 minutes away had what we were looking for. She did not even offer to call the store to have them hold if for us till we could get there. Just looked at me and smiled and said the Granite Falls store has it. She was able to tell me where it was located.

Im not into games but I shop there with my adult son and my grandson. They have always had what we came in for and they have excellent warranties and return policies. The employees are very knowledgeable. Id rather go here before Walmart.

Dont understand how a GameStop is open and has nothing in stock, not even some headphones bruh. Rude people on the phone too, seems like theyre always having a bad day when you call as well as your call comes off as inconvenient to them too.

I bought a couple games for my oldest son, who really likes the games. I like how, you can trade out the games for a different one, or if the game doesnt work, theyll switch it out without ANY issues!

I purchased a used ps3 for my son from another store and they mixed up the numbers for my warranty. Kanan took care of the situation with a professionalism you would usually see in a corporate environment. Im not a gamer by any stretch of the imagination so I didnt understand a lot of the terminology relayed to purchasing gaming products. He was very patient and walked me through the problem and purchases for the future. I will definitely shop at this store again!

Good service, employees are friendly, but seems to need more help at times. Always seems to be a long line with only one person working, the other employee doesnt appear until you have stood there a while.

Very knowledgeable. Will definitely sell you on savings program but did save me $15 and the magazine you get is informative.

Just a basic game stop, but with this one they dont try to push anything on you like preorders or power up rewards program.

Most of the people dont know what theyre doing. Had one guy who didnt know what a duke conrroller was and gave us the wrong release date with a 5 month difference! Then lied to us further and said that he wanted it too. Hello, if you really wanted it youd know the name and release date. Its always a hit and miss here.

Much better than the one in Lenoir. At least you can get some help and they will take the time to answer questions and answer the phone when you call.

@Gaming, if you dont pick up your game on the midnight release that you pre ordered it on, they give it to other customers. When you pre order a game youre basically saying Ill be at the midnight release dont be mad at gamestop for your ignorance.

Canceling Customers Games Without Their Approval!!!I Pre-Ordered GTA V on the day of the launch and payed it in full price for it but never had time to go pick it up, so I went in today to go picked it up but they said it was already picked up by my brother on the same day he picked up Pokemon Y but he never picked up the game if he did it would of said picked up on the receipt which we still have right now so the only people who has access to the account that day of the pick up was my brother and the Gamestop Employees behind the counter!
