Im a fairly new customer at Auto Fitness (couple of years) but Ive quickly come to fully trust their competence and honesty, while also appreciating their friendliness.Their customer service is also exemplary. One of my vehicles is a classic pickup truck and I took it there for some work. When I realized the part I needed for it was on backorder (the manufacturer has since gone out of business) and my truck would be outdoors in the Auto Fitness parking lot for a while, I called to tell them I was going to bring my cover for it. Their immediate response: Oh, were bringing it in each night for you. Theyd already thought of that and were going out of their way each day before leaving to take care of my truck. Truly above and beyond! I was so appreciative and since theyve replaced the part, the vehicle is humming again.

Friendly and fast service. Had my a/c evacuated, refilled, and my transmission clutch replaced with a quick turn around. Literally called to ask if they could look at the issue Monday morning, had the car dropped of at noon, and they had it ready by Tuesday afternoon. Definitely will be my go to place!

Thanks for the quick walk-in service (because we are a regular customer). I do not want to over sell my first experience with them, but it was perfect. I was having car trouble. They, very pleasantly, told me to bring it by in the morning and they would diagnose the issue. They did. That morning. They quoted a fair price to repair my car and told me it would be ready by the end of the day. The price they quoted was the price I paid. My car was ready by mid-afternoon the same day. The diagnosis was accurate. I have had no further problems with my car. The review is one month after my experience with Auto Fitness Center. I will definitely call them for my next issue.

Extremely honest and reliable. I took my car to a AAA shop, they said I needed $1200 in repairs, when I came here for a second opinion they said $400 of the repairs were unnecessary AND theyd do the repairs actually needed for $100 less, so I only spent $700. They are my go-to choice for car repairs, the only thing I could ask for are longer hours but I consider the time I take off work to be well worth the peace of mind that they wont upsell or lie to me.

Fantastic. The owners and all the guys in the shop are always friendly and personable. Ive been there numerous times and have always been impressed. Very reasonable rates, and you can trust them.I was in a very tight spot last Friday as my battery died, I wasnt sure if anything else might have been wrong (wouldnt take a charge/jump), and I needed my jeep to be operable to pull a hay-ride trailer for a bunch of kids the next day. Auto Fitness Center got me in at the last minute right before they closed (on a Friday evening when Im sure everyone would rather be checking out for the weekend!), and they took care of me.My neighbors and I thank you guys for being awesome. The technicians are very knowledgeable when it comes to vehicle maintenance and repair, they have many years of experience and gives me peace of mind leaving my cars with them.

I have used Bob at Auto Fitness for years, and they have always given me top notch, fair, honest prices. Took my car in last week, did have appointment, needed an oil change, inspection. Found out that I needed 2 tires to pass the inspection, appointment lasted longer than expected, so it took a little longer for Terry to get my tires to fix the problem. In less than 2 hours, they had the tires, put them on, inspected and changed oil. Even came to my home to pick me up to take me back to get my car ! Now that is what I call great service. Price of tires was very resonable ! Love the employees and owners here. Highly recommend !

Last time I was there I needed a fuse replaced. Took a new one with me. He charged me $140.00. No one can get over it. Unbelievable! Rip off! Cant believe the owner did me this way. Ive been going there and really trusted him.

They were quick and courteous. Were a little high but do good work.I thought $240 was steep to have a thermostat changed in my car.

Honest people This is one of the best places to have work done. We have taken in a vehicle twice with what we thought were major repairs. They could have run up a huge bill but they were honest and offered simple fixes that saved thousands.

I do not have a Google account so I am using my grandsons. It was time to have my timing belt and water pump replaced, called Auto Fitness and they were able to get the work done the next day!! Not only was the work done on time it was done perfect. They checked out my entire Highlander for any other problems for no charge. I have lived in the Hickory area for over 25 years and there is no doubt that Auto Fitness is the best in Hickory!! Great service and, most importantly, honesty and integrity in all my dealings with them. I had a very unusual situation with a sports car, where the problem was very difficult to pin down and took a long time to diagnose. Bob and his team stuck with it until the mission was accomplished. I trusted them and kept in communication, and despite the incredible amount of time put into the job - I could (legitimately) have been given an outrageous bill - they treated me with fairness and I left feeling very good about my car and my wallet. I have been a customer of Auto Fitness Center for 15 years. I am a single woman in her late 60s. I have to trust these men to take care of me and my car which is 12 years old.All work is approved by me prior to it being done. The price quoted has always been accurate. They have Certified mechanics which is the Gold Level for expertise and skill at assessing problems and knowing how to fix them correctly the first time.The staff is very friendly and the waiting room is always very neat and clean. I totally trust these guys. I never feel I am being conned to make repairs that are not necessary. They are very good at spotting a repair I may not have on my list, but they always tell me the level of urgency. For example, they may say that my engine has a problem, but it does not need to be fixed now. They will suggest that I bring it back in six months if I want to, or they can fix it now. If I choose to have it fixed now, the price for the added work is quoted immediately and accurately. If the problem is serious, they will tell me I need to leave my car overnight. Since I live only three miles away, if their time schedule allows it, they will give me a ride home to help me save on the cost of a taxi.They are good, honest Christian people. I have no reservation recommending them to anyone. I have referred several friends who did go to them and said just the same things I said in this review.To give you a reality check of how well they are respected, many times when I arrive for my appointment, I will see other customers I know: doctors, a judge, lawyers, my dentist, a banker, and regular folks like me.These are the very best mechanics in Hickory.
