Aug 17 2021 7pm I just left the store and for the store being as empty as it was, you would think the employees would be more helpful and kind but it wasnt the case. I went to the register to pay for my 2 items, there were 3 employees talking and neither greeted me or asked if I needed help or let me know which register to go to until I said excuse me I would like to pay and one of the woman acted as if I shouldnt have even been there. Finally one of the employees rang up my purchase and at that time both items rang up with the wrong price which I advised the cashier of and he said this is the correct price, I said its not even the price online you should go and verify the prices and he looked at me as if I was asking him to do something out of this world, I took him directly to where the items were and 1 of the items was wrong in their system and the other was placed incorrectly so I exchanged it for something else. I went to the register where there was another cashier and again the items were incorrectly priced in their system, I advised her that the other cashier had verified the price and she called over the lady that had originally ignored me and she proceeded to give me an attitude and the store Manager Darin approached a d proceeded to fix the prices and the cashier that had originally verified the prices confirmed that I was correct and I told her I had told u the system prices were incorrect she proceeded to give me an attitude and was rude and seemed to be bothered that the store manager whom I thanked for his great customer service had assisted me and she was rolling her eyes and making face gestures to her fellow coworker.I have worked in Customer Service for over 20 years and value great customer service and expect to be treated with respect as I treat others, Im there spending my money which allows them to have a job but they act as if a customer is a bother...smh.Horrible Customer ServiceIf you need to visit a Party City in Hialeah go to the one located in Hialeah Gardens the employees are always helpful and nice and greet u when u come in.The only reason Im rating it 1 star is because I cant rate it a 0

EDIT:I’ve upgraded my review to three stars because the manager was very polite and helped me as soon as I approached him and made me his priority. He even compensated me for my wait time and just don’t do curbside pick upJust don’t ever try their curbside pick up it’s worse than waiting in the line …. I’ve seen 10 people come and go with their items, and have been here waiting for about 30 minutes.Notified them 5 minutes before arrival that I was already here…….. then after 10 min I called them.. “let me put you on a brief hold while I prepare your order” I literally have 1 item… on hold for 15 minutes. Great service if ur dead ! I like 49th st better I guess they just have high school kids working here….

DO NOT BUY from any Party City. I bought a costume two days ago on the 27 of October and it was damaged. Instead of giving me back my money they only provide you with a store credit. Problem is that the store was literally empty so no luck changing your item for another. So I guess I need to wait a full year to use my credit. Best you can do is buy at Walmart or Amazon where you know that atleast there is a chance for a return.

They didnt honor my online order. I purchased a costume and it was in stock online. I received a call telling me that it was no longer available after their store location stated otherwise. Ill never do this 2 hour pick up at this location again. Im a consistent customer and Im not happy at all. I feel bamboozled and immediately asked for a refund.

Clean, Everything organized and found everything we needed. Great prices. Cashier and staff very nice and helpful. Everything I ask, they knew what line and location. Nice! I order plan cakes but Party City makes it possible for me to get my idea out.

Horrible experience!! We were offered a discount by the cashier for merchandise that had been opened (& the last one available). When the manager was called over to apply the discount she immediately looked annoyed. She was extremely rude & literally looked miserable & said that next time we won’t get the discount... We never even asked for the discount, we were offered it.On top of that, in the middle of blowing up our balloons, the employee walked away, assuming another employee would finish the job. We just stood there confused & ended up asking another employee to finish our balloons. We spent about $90, the least they could’ve done is give us good customer service

Had to stand in line for an hour to pick up a balloon order only to find out they didn’t have any more balloons and I never received an email stating they were unable to satisfy the order. Completely ridiculous.

Worst party city I have ever been to!! I asked an employee about a party pack that is listed online as in stock, I simply wanted to see it. She told me that it was only in stock in the warehouse and that if I were to order it online for store pick up, they would cancel it, I have worked here for 4 months, never seen this party pack, and thats how we do things. If not in store and only in the warehouse, we cancel it. When I asked about the bear balloon, she grabbed a paper, pointed to a different bear and said Thats the only bear balloon we have. I took her work and walked around the store. I ended up finding the exact party pack I was looking for!! I didnt want to buy anything from there except the mama bear sash they had. As I was checking out, I looked up and saw the EXACT bear balloon I was looking for!!!! I was so upset, because not only did she tell me they didnt have it, but she felt the need to tell me how long she worked there as if she was an expert and knew way more then I ever would!! NEVER GOING TO THAT ONE AGAIN!!!!!!!

Don’t bother to buy balloons here and expect to get helium. They charge you FULL price (which includes helium in the price) and then tell sorry we don’t have helium. Spoke to manager on duty – What a joke, When I ask her for discount for NOT having helium – Her reply “Why would we give you a discount?”. So, had to spend additional $30+ for tank of helium, since we needed the balloons filled for my daughter’s birthday party. Happened on 3/17/19 @ 11amOn another note: This is not the first time this has happened at this store. Save your time and money go elsewhere.

I love the place because it has everything for the parties ... However the customer service if it gives to talk ... I think they should put in box a person who also knows Spanish in Hialeah because I have to see as a lady He did not speak English and tried to make himself understood and the young lady saw her with a very nasty face without a smile ... then I had my turn and the same unpleasant face ... Im sorry to say it.

The managers name is Daniel Cabrera. He is the most ride person Ive ever met. I placed an order online and I got my money withdrawn from my account, I never got the email saying that my order was cancelled and never got the items that I had paid for it, still Im still missing my money from my account. This guy calls himself general manager but he totally lacks of customer service skills. Worst experience ever and for sure I will take my complaint to where ever I have to take it. Never returning to this place!!!!

The store was so busy it took me a couple of minutes to get my order in with the register, which then made me walk over to the greetings area where there was so many options to pick from, it was really hard for me to make a choice when everything seemed to attract me. I would recommend this place for last minute pre planning your day.

Employees need to work on the costumer service skills. Went to get balloons for a last minute work birthday party and they were running out of helium. With an actitud the employee tells me that I had to order it previously. Like it was my fault that I can’t get the balloons.Don’t bother coming here.

They need to update their inventory because online they said they had a bunch of supplies that I ordered that I was ready to pick up. Once they got my money online then they cancelled my order because they did not have the items. It makes it really hard to get party supplies when they say they have the items online and then don’t have it and cancel my order. Now I am expecting a refund but I have to wait 3-5 business days just to get my money back just so I can now go in person and buy my items somewhere else. Because THEY HAVE JUST LOST BUSINESS!

I havent learned yet everytime I go to party city I end up buying at happy fiesta, staff at party city arent helpful at all.

Each time I try to call this store, I get a fax machine response... one that sounds terrible. It’s impossible to get anyone on the phone.

Placed an online order and over 2hrs later Im calling to get an update in the event the items arent in stock and for the past 10 minutes NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE!!!! On one occasion the phone was picked up and disconnected simultaneously 😠

Great service but party city prices are really high where you can find lower prices anywhere else.

I went twice to get pokemon invitations and the shelves were empty on two different days. They dont restock they had two people blowing up balloons and a line forming, they told me they just send us stuff, we dont know what it is they had nothing. I despise this party city in hialeah so very much, they never have anything the staff is poorly trained and not helpful. Try to go to ANY OTHER party city, except this one.

What a disappointment. The staff was rude. I asked for toilet paper and the member came back and said the manager said they ran out of toilet paper and paper towels, when I was shocked the staff member laughed at me. I asked for a costume and only two pieces were in the bag out of 9 pieces. Horrible customer service and the place is ridiculous.
