Within the last two weeks I had to get my car serviced. One due to a nail in my tire and the other for an oil change. Jesse and Tristian are amazing. They get scheduled me and serviced my car so I had a minimal wait time. Of course there is a wait for the service being done but they’re in time. I know the store is under construction and you can’t shop yet but they had everything I needed service wise. I’ve been coming here on and off for a few years and I always seem to get Tristian and Jesse and I really like it because they know me and my vehicles. Thanks guys again for always taking care of me and my family’s repairs/needs.

I got my car inspected here for Lyft and they were extremely inexpensive, polite and very fast. I highly recommend this Pep Boys.

I was charged up the wall for brake pads, just for my car to continue squealing. I was told I could not get a refund because there was nothing wrong with the new pads, and thats when this place told me that my rotors needed to be replaced instead. Argued with me about how my car wasnt squealing, and I was wrong. Well, now my car not only squeals, but it grinds like hell. Thanks. I was a loyal customer until you did this.

We were traveling across country and my husband notice when filling up the car the tire had a slice on the side wall of the tire. We call numerous of Pepboys to see can they help with the repair due to Avis rental car has a contract with them. Everyone we called said they were booked or it was a long wait (hours). We end up just taking a chance at this location. Tristan the manager and her staff was very understanding and helped us right away. They got our tire fixed and we were back on the road again. We waited less than an hour. Thanks to Tristan and her team of employees! Keep up the excellent customer service.

I bought a new set of tires at pep boys along with lifetime alignment, 6,000 miles later I went for the tire rotation and alignment however they found over $2,000.00 worth of repairs on shock and struts before doing the alignment, I went to my friends shop to replace shock and struts then went back to pep boys for alignment . The manager told me your warranty is voided because you didnt do the work here

I wish I could leave 0 stars but... I have never been so mistreated by management and corporate in my whole life. Ongoing complaint for a month now. Have gone to the Better Business Bureau also. They not only told me they could do something that they could not (dont have proper equipment - and kept my car all day attempting without permission) but they also messed up my new paint job and told me I can easily buff that out myself. I advise any customers to take good pictures of your vehicle before and after it goes to them; if you choose to use them. Never again for me and taking them to small claims! Hope it keeps someone from experiencing the same thing.

Jesse in service was extremely unprofessional and rude. I had made an appointment to come In and they are telling me to drop it off and they will get to it in a few hours. Why do you have appointments if you cant stick to them. Apparently alot of there customers get the same treatment I heard from another employee. I think he didnt want to do the work because it was warranty work and he wasnt getting paid.

My wife set an appointment to get tires got there and they dont even have the tires in stock which could have been said from the start.

I have had nothing but an awesome experiance here. I have brought my cars here for repair many times. So far I have not found a mecanic I could trust, until now.Jason always does a fantastic job on my cars. I can compleatly trust that he will do a great job! And Tristian always gives outstanding service, she is the best!I love this place!!

They were really kind and helpful to me and my daughter help us figure out what was wrong with my truck and they fixed it and even help us get home and back to the shop ☺️ I will always take my cars and trucks to them for now on 🤓👍

Best location to go to. To have anything done. If it seems that it will awhile then at least theres lots to do to spend time until its completely finish. In walking distance food restaurants as well as stores all near by. Thats why this is perfect location.

I had to take this pictures. The technician pouring the oil of his choice (Pennzoil) not the synthetic that I requested (Mobil1), also, I asked for tire rotation, receipt shows numbers like he did, but he DID NOT. Not nice. They acted like business as usual, like a misunderstanding.... they said they corrected the issue when I brought it out to their attention but after what I saw, who knows? No bueno.

Made an appointment, got there five minutes early and was told to come back in an hour because the person who does alignments was at lunch. I asked why I needed an appointment.....I was asked in return if I wanted him to keep his guy from lunch. I ended up going down the street to Concord and was out within half an hour and paid less than I would have at PB.

Service took way too long, very overpriced. We came for an oil change and left basically replacing the whole car. At least the lounge is kept decently clean

I would give this shop and the manager 10 out of 5 stars if I could. This is the shop I highly recommend going to in the Hesperia/Apple valley area above all others! We had run into complications from a previous mechanics work and they immediately found the problem, physically showed us on the car what had happened and how to resolve our issues. The manger Tristen is an exceptional caring women and employee that went absolutely way above and beyond for us. More shops should be run like this pep boys and this manger and crew.(To many details to add) But this pep boys is loyal, caring and will give you the best for your buck. Trust me this is the place to go. We can’t thank-you for everything!(Someone give that manager Tristen a raise 😁)

I do my best to keep my business in the High Desert. It is unfortunate when you need something done and 6 employees are just standing around. After being told it was going to take 3 hours. I can drive down the hill get the work done and be back up here in 2 hours. People like this are the reason the High Desert has such a poor reputation.

Pep boys was always a great place to shop for my automotive needs but as time passed customer service took a big turn for the worst I just recently started shopping there again and have been going back all because of this great employee who goes by the name Daryl at the location on main street in hesperia he truly reminds me of what it felt like to be treated like VIP pep boys first and last customer... no matter what the situation is busy or slow he always takes the time to acknowledge the customer and lets them know that he knows you are there I strongly believe its his up bringing not his training that makes this man special for whatever its worth keep up the great work.

GOOD service. I forgot to mention a female worker help me out opener shift. Good work help me out with my Mitsubishi Outlander sports wiper and paint.

I will not request the services of this place again before I went from oil change to my cars or the least I needed my cars today unfortunately I had a bad experience with an employee her name is liz she was very rude and very arrogant she made fun of my accent and she told me that no one on duty spoke Spanish and that if I wanted to go I had to speak English and I cut off the call I called again and asked to speak to her manager and with a mocking voice she answered that she was the manager of the store I did not believe her I dont know if Pepboys is a franchise or corporation but I dont think they have such an unprofessional and rude person serving customers Please manager, this person needs a wake-up call, he must not treat a client badly or make fun of my accent when I speak English thanks

Service was great. I showed up 15 minutes before they closed to get a new tire. They were nice and fast. Plus the job got done right. I will definitely be going back again in the future

Great Service but cant find what i was looking for

A bit overpriced for servicing but the air conditioning is great inside, and the sweet smell of the new rubber tires was the best part of my visit..

Just left very satisfied. I did A/C Pro at home service on my Buick. They concluded the gauge was faulty and I over pressured the cooling system. I needed the A/C system emptied and refilled to correct pressure. After many calls, this place was able to help me out the earliest. Rachael provided a fair estimate and the best time for me and my 3 years old to stop by. Jorge was very friendly with my 3 years old as she watch him do very good work. What really stood out, was my final bill. I was provided a fair estimate, I agreed, and the final bill was less. Rachael explain Jorge was able to do X,Y,Z and my bill was less. Honest good work must be appreciated and recognized in todays world. I want to thank Rachael, Jorge, and all the staff for being so professional and friendly.

Made a online appointment but when I arrived I was told online apps were no good and it would be a 1.5 hour wait...No way!!!🤬 Had to schedule for tomorrow...

Terrible service no wonder is empty

I usually do my own repairs but was on a road trip with the family and broke a belt. Luckily we were close to Pep Boys and they were able to get us in pretty quickly to hang the new belt. Mark was helpful at the front desk and Jorge did the repair professionally. They got us on our way with only a small delay in our trip.

I’ve come here now for an oil change and a rear brake service. Both times service was excellent! They respected my time, the prices were competitive and reasonable and there was even a tv for the kids to watch while the car was serviced! Highly recommend!

As far as the Victor Valley is concerned, Pep Boys comes in first out of the top three auto parts store chains... They overall have the nicest, most helpful employees combined with the lowest prices on average. My boyfriend got a lot of parts and did at least one return at each of these top three stores which I wont actually mention the names of the other two but Im sure you can figure it out, lol. They arent bad by any means, just not as good as Pep Boys. 😀

DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE UNLESS YOU WANT IT TAKEN FOR A JOY RIDE!!!!!!!! I took my Camry in for an oil change at 8:10am & it wasnt finished until 10:30 even though they told me my car would be the first one serviced. When I arrived to pick my car up the Manager told me it was being pulled out of the garage & they would park it & bring me my keys. After waiting about 10 minutes I asked again & he said I could meet the mechanic outside. I went outside & didnt see my car anywhere! I waited another 5 minutes & FINALLY the guy pulls in from behind the building in my car! My family & I have been going here for years & NO ONE has EVER taken ANY of our cars for a TEST DRIVE after ONLY an OIL CHANGE!! Who knows HOW long he was GONE IN MY CAR?!?! The seat was COMPLETELY readjusted, even the lumbar support was changed! I called a few other Pep Boys stores in the area and they ALL said that they DO NOT do Test Drives after only an OIL CHANGE. If you people want to test drive a nice new car go to a freakin dealership! DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE UNLESS YOU WANT IT TAKEN FOR A JOY RIDE!!!!!!!!

Got the Bosch battery for around $140 with a 10 year warranty and free installation. The cashier was nice and helpful. Will be recommend this pep boys shop.

I had my car in to replace the battery but after they replaced the battery my car would not start completely but would make noise.They told me that it could be the starter but they would have to run a test to make sure and charge for it.They quoted a price approximately $900.00 if they had to replace the starter, but I denied the repair and the test because I never had a problem starting my car before the battery died so I went to Pep Boys the next day to investigate.Upon my arrival I noticed that the gas tank was almost empty since the car was sitting for over 6 months so I decided to put some gas in it.I was then able to start my car after the second try and drove it home without any problem. The mechanic heard me start my car and ran inside to hide. What a shame that a known company would do this to anyone.

Where do I begin? So we took my sons expedition in because there was a vibrating noise. They said they had to put it on the diagnostic machine to find out the problem. Fine. Then after leaving it there 1-1/2 days, and after WE called them, they said the test found problems with the exhaust manifold. Again, fine. So after 2 days and $1,200 later, again we called them, they said it was ready. We pick it up, drive it home and the vibrating that we took it in for originally was still happening. Took it back the next day. They said they had to run a different test (for an additional charge, of course). This time it was the shocks/suspension that was causing the vibration. They said we needed a conversion kit for the suspension, so now another $700.00. Ok, fine. So, after leaving it there again, during the first day we decided to have them install a stereo also. After 3 days, and after WE called them, they said it was ready. Great, no more vibration, new stereo installed, doing good...oh wait! Half way home stereo stops working. Take it back and they said the stereo, (which was bought there) was defective, so they installed a brand new one. About 3 miles down the road it stops working again! Furious about this. Have an appointment tomorrow to fix it, well see. Side note...during this time I left MY car there over night so they could also install a stereo first thing in the morning. THEY ACTUALLY CALLED ME for once, told me it was ready. Everything looked fine, but...you knew there was a but, right? Well, my back speakers dont work at all, (they did with the old stereo though) AND...WAIT FOR IT...I can only listen to one station because they didnt even hook my antenna back up! Freaking rookie crap really. How do you install stereos and then dont even hook the antenna back up!? Crazy! If I could give ZERO stars and still write a comment I would!

Couldnt get car alignment service the machine is broken, was referred to another store and the alignment tech had gone home early 😠and only works 2 days a week. I purchased the 5 year alignment service and the last tech couldnt get it done correctly but said it was close enough. My tires wore out in a year and it continued to pull to one side. Customers should be able to walk in for any service during business hours . I have to go back due to my service warranty.

I made an appointment at Pep Boys located on Main St. on 22 September at 1:37p for an oil change for 3p. When I arrive for my appointment I am told that my vehicle cannot be serviced due to too many vehicles in the back. I explained that I had an appointment at 3p. I was told that I must have snuck the appointment in in the past 15 minutes because that is when it was last checked. When I told him no, that I had made it earlier, he once again stated that I must have snuck the appointment in. Question: How does a person sneak an appointment in online? Then I was told that I can leave my vehicle there, but it will be some time before they can get to it. I was also told that I could always reschedule for another date. I wonder if my appointment was not honored because I am Mexican. I left. I will never give Pep Boys any of my business ever again. Shortly afterwards I receive an email from Pep Boys stating that they are sorry that I could not keep my appointment...really???

DONT DO ANYTHING HERE!!!!!!!!! Came to just CHECK why my AC isnt working and left with missing bolts and a terrible sound coming from under the hood. The other guy waiting for his new tires was 100% correct when he said not to get any type of mechanical work done here. Lol I was charged 50 dollars for them to mess my car up even more. Great tactic for trying to get customers to come back asap by screwing their car up faster.

Since they deleted my post Im going to put on other one up. I went to pep boys for an oil change and they said that I would have to leave my car 3 hrs. Later they gave me a call saying my car was ready. 2 weeks later had to get onother oil change, this time I took it some where else. I Think they got me with the fake oil change trick. Read the other review from the other customer. He paid for full sinthetic oil, they installed ordinary oil, he even took pictures of them doing it. Customers work hard for their money & pay an arm & leg for good service. Give the customer the service they pay for ! Oh and they did not even rotate my tires or anything

We went here to purchase new tires for our car. The employees in the store were really nice and helpful. The employees in the service section were not so great.

Usually they took pretty good care of me. The last time I was there they forgot to put new transmission fluid in during a servicing and when I went back they really went out of their way to deny any responsibility, the manager in particular. I had to raise my voice so people could hear me (YOURE TELLING ME YOU WONT CORRECT THE BOTCHED JOB YOU DID ON MY CAR? will always turn heads) and only then did he work with me. Even if I still lived in the area I wouldnt go back.

Went to get an oil change with a 40% coupon that I received from Uber. The manager approved it prior to the oil change then after the oil change they didnt honor the coupon. He said that they already took $20 off and thats all he could do. Dont approve diverting than unapprove it when Im paying.

On the way to Vegas we had electrical problems. Was greeted by two employees at the door. Asked to have my battery tested and was told to pull up to bay 1. Javier tested our battery/vehicle. Our mechanic was knowledgeable and quick. Thank you.

I went here for an oil change, they took too long. my appointment was 1:30 pm, they said it would take about 45 minutes. I didnt leave until 3:10, there were people who came in after me who left before my car was done and at least one of the other people was getting an oil change also. Price was about average I got a $20. Off coupon so oil change and filter was around $80.

I had a problem with my truck. On a busy weekend afternoon. (Of course!) They got to me as quickly as they could and recommended a new alternator. OK, whatever.Turned out it wasnt the alternator and I still had the same problem! Took my truck back and they refunded the entire charge. And I kept the new alternator . . . or maybe it was a starter. (Dont know, dont care.)After in and out of several other repair shops, the problem turned out to be with the ignition switch on the steering wheel! Thats a long way from the starter. Or alternator.Even though I was disappointed that they didnt fix my truck, they tried and were honest and friendly in dealing with me. I would go back.

I got a flat tire and Pep boys was the closest shop to take my car to, we showed up at about 630pm and first asked if we could just borrow a jack to change our tire to our spare, they told us no they couldnt lend us anything but they can change our tire wed just have to pay them to do it. So we go inside and are waiting at the service desk, the lady was talking to another customer, she then turns to us and asks if we need help we told her we needed our spare put on and she said they were booked. I had to sit in the parking lot and wait for my brother to bring tools to change my tire. While we sat there waiting, the whole time(1 1/2 hours), the mechanics were just sitting down smoking cigarettes. We go inside to get a tire tool and the lady at the service desk is now helping other customers and new cars were pulled into the garage. Worst customer service ever!

To change my tail lights, they took 7 whole a** hours !!! The service was terrible. Eventually they fixed my lights, but they also locked my gears. This place insisted that I leave my car so they can repair what was wrong, tried charging me more, & denied their mistakes when confronted. You’d think that Pep Boys is ran by qualified mechanics and certified individuals willing to help you and your vehicle, but if anything this place is filled with rude and careless employees.

Waited an hour to find out i have to come back because oil filter not instock. Maybe head of service department should check inventory while having customers wait not until mechanics notify an hour later
