Amin provided expert advice on the type and grade of wood that would most suit our lifestyle, worked with us until we found the perfect stain, personally joined us at the homesite in Maryland to take measurements, and was prompt in providing a very reasonable, competitive quote for the work. We were grateful for the timely communication as to when the wood would be delivered and installed. The installation team did an outstanding job putting in the flooring, cleaning up afterwards, and finished the project in one day. We continue to be so pleased with the high quality of the wood and the color, and are grateful for the excellent customer care we received. Highly recommended!

We recently hired Royal floors twice to install carpets for our rental properties. Good service and price. Especially their workers treated many urine stains left by the tenant’s dog before installed the new carpet, then the strong urine smell throughout the basement finally gone.Highly recommended!

In August of 2019 we contacted Royal Floors for an estimate to replace the staircase treads with Brazilian cherry treads, convert steps 2-5 from closed to open treads, and replace the handrail and newel posts with Brazilian cherry. Amin, from Royal Floors, came to our house to measure and view the existing staircase. We repeatedly emphasized that our #1 complaint is they CREAK. First and foremost, we want the creaking eliminated from the staircase. He said they would ensure they DO NOT creak. Mr. Lee arrived and he too measured and walked the staircase and again, we emphasized that it is the CREAKING, more than the aesthetic that is bothersome. He said “when you go from carpet to hardwood you have to beef up the staircase to accommodate the wood”, so they would eliminate the noise. Great! We asked Amin for a description of the newel post, and requested a raised panel post to match the columns in our portico. After a few emails to outline the details, we signed the contract and were told they would start when the materials arrived in approximately 3 weeks, and it would be a 2-3 day job during which we would have access to our upstairs without a problem.In October, the 2-man crew arrived. The lead person either didn’t speak English, or just wouldn’t, I’m not really sure. It was difficult to communicate with him. Additionally, they installed plastic to contain the dust, so it was VERY difficult to not only communicate with him, but also to monitor the progress. He tore up the steps to be converted to open tread and reframed around the stringer with 2x4s. During this time I noticed 5 large holes (2 with nails protruding) in my basement ceiling. I brought this to his attention and he said he will patch them, but I have to sand, prime and paint them. Hmm, I wasn’t expecting to do additional work. When he left that day, he reinstalled our oak treads so we could get to the upstairs and used 2x4s as a railing system in the interim because we did not get the newel post we had requested. They returned 2 weeks later to install the handrail system and correct newel post. When they said they were done and took down the plastic so we could see, the handrail was installed as it was originally, which is CODE FROM 1990! I told Mr. Lee that the code for handrails had changed and they must be continuous. He laughed and said it did not change. When they left I found the link to the Virginia Construction code website and sent the link to Amin, explaining that we had every expectation that it would be installed to code. After more discussion, and after Amin contacted the county to confirm that they had to install a continuous railing system, they ordered the needed “S” curve. We waited 2-3 weeks for the “S” curve to arrive. However, when it arrived it was the wrong size! Another 3 week delay.From this moment on, working with Royal Floors was a nightmare! Each time they would come and go, there’d be new items to be fixed! Three (3) additional holes in the basement ceiling! They would say they were done without patching any nail holes! Further, my original white risers looked BETTER than the new ones they installed because they made so many holes, and either didn’t patch them or patched them poorly. We still have rough edges on the handrail and MORE unpatched holes in the baseboard! Finally, they cut the handrail too short when they attached it to the newel post, so now the baluster closest to the wall is crooked as there isn’t enough railing to connect it properly.(additional details removed owing to google character limit)In December, we just couldn’t continuing working with them. Now we need to live with the crooked baluster, fix the drywall and install our wainscoting which had to be removed to accommodate the handrail. And the handrail still seems too close to the wall.When I went to pay the bill, Reza had the audacity to request additional money; one amount for the “S” curve in the handrail to bring it to code, and second for additional labor. Ridiculous!

We payed top price for installing laminate flooring and baseboards. The floor was good but they did a horrible job in installing the baseboards. See attached pictures for some samples of their work and this is after we complained and they sent a guy to fix. Total lack of attention to detail, left my walls dirty with handprints, a couple of walls damaged and cigarette buds in the front yard. The only positive is how quickly they were in scheduling the job.

We were very pleased with the work performed by Royal Floors. Amin worked with us to select the right flooring and colors for our home. He answered all my questions, provided several samples for us to test in our home and was a pleasure to work with. We ended up selecting LVT for the kitchen and my office and carpeting everywhere else. Amin was able to schedule the work over different days to accommodate our schedule. Installers were professional, courteous and skilled. We would definitely use Royal Floors again.

My wife and I chose this company based on the reviews, but were uncertain what to expect, since we’ve seen good reviews online, but had a different experience in reality. From the moment Reza and Amine came to our house, the customer service was outstanding. Their company really does care about making sure you get everything you want and need, but also they have integrity that is rare. Both Amine and Reza followed up with us even after we paid to make sure things were perfect - we had to remove a walk and they reached out with a specialist to come over and touch up a baseboard for us. They also always answered their phone and took their time with us.We had compared other companies as well and could not believe how we got both the lower price AND quality AND customer service. They also know how to pick style and everything about wood.We have hired many contractors in our lifetime and it’s hard these days to even pay to get someone who cares. Reza and Amine are a rare breed.

Could not be happier with every aspect of our new carpet process. We contacted several places and Royal Floors was by far the best. My wife and I stopped by the showroom and got to look at a bunch of different styles and options and it was a very no pressure environment. Ultimately we ended up going with the same carpet we liked from a different shop and the price was much better from Royal Floors. The installers were very professional, arrived exactly when scheduled and got our entire basement done quickly. Also the carpet is beautiful and installation was perfect. Would recommend to friends and family and would use again.

Dont use this company for tiling!! I saw the good reviews so I decided to use Royal Floors. Very unprofessional work. There were many places where theres no mortar under the tiles (especially on the corners as you can see in the pictures). For some reason different sized spacers were used. The floor is not level in many places including under the stove and dishwasher. The dishwasher almost didnt fit because of the height difference from left to right. The quote said to remove glue from an existing floor but the tiler decided he would rather just sand it smooth. Stay away if youre going to get them to tile anything for you.

I went to Royal Floors at the recommendation of a realtor friend. I was pleasantly surprised to have personalized attention throughout the process. Amin was VERY patient helping me understand the various carpet options and what was right for my home. He brought samples to my home, on request ( nearby Herndon), and helped me to determine colors etc. He gave a good price in comparison to other stores. They were able to meet my time frames. The installers, Manuel and Alex were very professional, quiet, quick and polite. They answered my questions and worked around any requests. At one point we thought we had a weak floor board. Their floor expert came the next day and assessed it.The furniture was heavy and lots of it when carpeting two stories. The installers were careful and competent. They took the time to explain how the carpet was to be installed and where the seams would be.It was a pleasure working with Royal Floors- Amin, Manuel and Alex. I would highly recommend them for carpet.I have not used them for flooring so can not comment on that area.Dont let the small store front fool you. They offer a great service in a small space!

Good job! Our experience with Royal Floors was excellent. Amin was very helpful in the selection of woods and carpets. He allowed us to take home whatever we wanted to evaluate and he came to the house to assist us further with our selections. The installation of the engineered hardwood in the living room, dining room, and hallways was done quickly and professionally, as was the replacement carpeting in the bedrooms. The installers were careful with our belongings and mindful of our presence in the house. They were a pleasure to work with, as the old carpet and wood floor was removed, and the new flooring installed.But, also significant was the service after the install. We needed a few adjustments to some trim and a couple of doors, and Amin promptly sent his folks out to correct these few minor things. Everything was completed to our satisfaction.To note, we went through the same evaluation process with 3 different flooring companies. Royal Floors gave us the best consultation and the best price of all!Our house looks great.

I got the most beautiful engineered hardwood from Royal Floors. My own contractor installed them, and they are magnificent! you cant tell that theyre not real hardwood [which they actually are, but i think the hardwood is attached to a layer of plywood]. The two men arrived early and finished installing hard wood new flooring in our kitchen (that matched the dinning room) hardwood and vinyl in the laundry area.They did a great job and cleaned everything up before they left. They came at 730 and worked until almost 6:00 pm.

We found Royal Floors after a debacle with Home Depot’s flooring department left us in a jam! Royal Floors had many choices, good quality and quick turn around. They were helpful in narrowing our choices and allowed us to take samples home to make a final selection. Without overpromising, they also carefully explained their capability.Amin stayed in communication with me through each step. He let me know when materials were ordered and the deposit charged. He confirmed delivery date and place and personally met me at their Sterling Warehouse. All of this was accomplished between Saturday and Wednesday in time for our installers to arrive on Thursday.The quality of the flooring is outstanding and was easy for the installers to work with.Royal Floors has their own installation team available, but even though we had set up to use a different contractor they treated us “royally,” living up to their name. Royal Floors extended wonderful service and hospitality from beginning to end! I highly recommend working with them.

My husband and I were looking to have a stair runner installed. We worked with Reza at Royal Floors. He was very professional and gave great insight on how the carpet should be sized on the stairs. The carpet was installed soon after we ordered it and the crew that completed it was fantastic. Everyone comments on how great our stairs look now!

We had both upstairs carpeting and first level hardwood floors installed by Amins crew at Royal floors. The carpeting went flawlessly; the crew meticulously nailed down all the squeaky boards first (much appreciated)! The hardwood floor was a long, arduous process due to the initial Canadian maple floor install buckling badly about a month after completion. Amin stood by his work and they replaced it at no additional charge with a completely new floor (we did pay to upgrade to Brazilian Teak, as our dogs were scratching up the maple pretty badly). We ended up having to have a whole-home dehumidifier put in, which has fixed the humidity issue that caused the buckling to begin with. Bottom line: Royal Floors never argued, complained or made excuses - they just fixed everything, and it looks beautiful!

When we were ready to have him come and measure he offered to come that day. We just got new carpet installed on our stairs, and I couldnt be more pleased! I picked a herringbone pattern, which is not the easiest to line up from stair to stair, but these guys did an excellent job! New padding, tightened all the screws so our stairs dont squeak anymore, and it just gives the whole foyer a new, fresh look.Amin was extremely helpful and accommodating when picking carpet, and communicates in a timely manner. Definitely would recommend his services!

We are Herndon locals and wanted to replace a carpeted basement, carpeted stairs, and two tiled bathrooms. Amin was very helpful and friendly when we visited the location to pick out new flooring. He answered our questions about the pros and cons of different materials.He came out to do some quick measurements, and a few weeks later he and his crew replaced the carpet and tiles. It took 2 visits, about 6 and 2 hours each to do all the work. They did a good job recaulking the bathroons. We are very happy with the results and the price felt very reasonable. Back in 2014, I got hardwood installed by Royal Floors. It went pretty smooth right from starting till end. We met Ameen who was very friendly, courteous and respectful. He answered all questions. Scheduling went as per the plan. Since I liked their service very much, I went back to them again last month and felt the same. I would definitely recommend them to my friends.

We hired Royal Floors to install new carpet in our basement, as well as paint our family room and kitchen. They were excellent to work with and were very flexible with dates, as well as providing unexpected repairs when we found damaged drywall and baseboards that needed to be replaced. Love my new bedroom wood floor. Special order maple flooring - color is Gray Shadow and it looks great where it meets the hallways Natural Maple flooring. Amin Jenati at the Franklin Farm store was very patient and helpful. What I liked and appreciated most was not feeling pressured the many, many times I visited the shop or called with questions. I initially thought I was going to purchase carpet but then decided on the wood floors...so glad that I did! Beautiful! The guys who installed the product did a fantastic job - very efficient and clean!Thanks!!!

I was looking for a carpet company for three months after I have had bad experience with one until found Royalfloor (Mr.Amin). they are very different in everything such as, consulting, even though estimate and most importantly more professional in best quality and fair prices based on your budget and to offer best package for your home. They are the best that I have seen and I always recommend them to everyone that looking for a real professional.

We had the carpeting replaced in our home prior to putting it up for sale. Amin came in to do the estimate and made some suggestions. On installation day (less than a week later), the team arrived ahead of schedule and did a superb job. We got really lovely carpet with upgraded padding for LESS than the competitors and in fact less than what we paid when we put in the carpet back when we moved in! The carpeting looked beautiful and Amin was very friendly, responsive, and professional throughout the entire process. We had a very good experience with Royal Floors. Reza worked with us over the course of several weeks to select carpeting for our basement. There were a couple of small hiccups along the way getting the correct swatches due to some miscommunication, but in the end we got the perfect carpet and were very pleased. The installation guys also deserve a big thumbs up.

Amin was going to come over to provide a quote on a carpet installation. He determined the time and date that was best. Not only did Amin not show up to the appointment he made (and had on his calendar - I saw him write it down), he never called/emailed us before or after the appointment. He was extremely unprofessional and I have no clue how he has gotten so many 5 stars....stay away.*Update: he said we were meeting one day, I thought I confirmed a different day. Either way, there was miscommunication.

I purchased carpet from Amin at Royal Floors for my house in Reston, these guys seemed very nice, helpful, and professional. They also installed wood floor and carpet at my daughters house in Potomac Maryland. They went the extra mile & repaired some missing tile in the kitchen ( no charge) matched perfectly. I cant say enough great things about this business ! Prices cant be beat- quality product and Great experience. Ive recommended them many times to all my friends.

Royal floors, They were eager to get the job and delivered the flooring material, had it in the house for a few days to get it acclimated and installed the whole floor in two days. We noticed immediately that the floor was buckling in many places and contact Amin . The store manager came over after many days, inspected the floor and stated that it was clear that it was an installation issue and since we have 1 year warranty they will fix the issue for us immediately. He had also taken many pictures of the floor. More than a week goes by, I receive a call from Amin the owner of the company and tells me that he saw the pictures and he was sure that house has a moisture issue that caused the floor to buckle within two days of installation. I was shocked that this man could look at a picture and find out that there was a moisture issue in house. I immediately knew that he was trying to scam me and wiggle out of his warranty commitment by giving me crazy excuses. I challenged Amin and he then sends another ( Subcontractor ) to inspect the floor and he told us that the installation was botched completely and went back to report to the owner. I gave the owner more than two weeks to honor the warranty and fix the issue and he has done nothing. He refused to address the issue and honor his warranty and has left us in limbo. I am now taking legal action against Royal Floors and I am in talks with consumer awareness, consumer reports people and workers commission (to see if the use legal licensed installers etc..) to make sure this company and the owner does not cheat other customers. Please be careful when dealing with this company and do a lot of homework, they dont know how to install floors, totally irresponsible, unprofessional and dont honor their own warranty and given how my floor turned-out, they are probably using unqualified, potentially unlicensed installers ( subcontractors ) to do the job.

After a HORRIBLE experience with another tile company, I was pleasantly surprised with not only the workmanship, done by Mr. Kim the installer, but also the professionalism of Royal Floors, Mr. Kim and his team did the tile for our entryway, hallway and office in my Herndon house. We picked out a stone that was not the easiest to work with, however, it was no problem for Mr. Kim, He even fixed the terrible bathroom tile job of our previous tile contractor. After working with Royal Floors, I will never use anyone else. The team came in on time, did a great job and were a please to work with. I highly recommend Royal Floors.

We visited Amin at Royal Floors to give us an estimate for hardwood floors for our living and bedrooms and tile for our kitchen and downstairs bathroom. He spent over an hour with us explaining the options and helping us pick the right floors. He then scheduled an in home visit to measure everything to assure accuracy with the quote. Within 2 weeks from our initial visit, he and his team came to our home and removed all old carpet and during the next two days had the hardwood floors and tile all installed. It has made a tremendous difference in our home. The quality of the floors and installation were excellent. My wife and I recently had Royal Floors of Herndon install tiles in the foyer of our new home as well as wood floors on the 2nd floor (in Reston). Working with Amin, the owner, was a great experience from start to finish. I had many questions and concerns due to the slightly uneven sub floor of my home. Amin was patient and took his time to answer all my questions and come up with solutions that worked for our home. He made multiple trips to our home to check out the floors to ensure his crew was prepared for installation day. Its always a pleasure to meet business owners who understand the importance of customer service.

Amins customer service at Royal Floors was as good as I have ever experienced with any purchase, of any service, at any time. I compared flooring and install costs at Empire and Lumber Liquidators, but it was very impersonal. Amin matched their prices, and was patient and courteous throughout the entire process. He never pressured us into a decision, never gave us the hard close, he just earned the business by being accommodating and answering all of our questions. The floors look great, and when we had a small punch list of items to tend to after it was installed he sent his people back to do it, no questions asked. I could not give a stronger recommendation for Amin at Royal Floors. They do great work and treat you right!

Working with Amin over at Royal Floors was so easy and straightforward! He came out the same day I called to measure my house flooring for installation. I went to their showroom at Franklin Farm Shopping centre in Herndon and looked at their hardwood floor offerings, they had so much! I got very honest and straightforward feedback and recommendations from Amin. He ordered the material the same day and called me a week later to schedule for installation, in days my new floor was in! Its gorgeous, their installer was knowledgeable and a craftsman, plus they cleaned everything before leaving my house. I generally like to use Angies List recommended home improvement/contractor type of business, and I shopped around and got some apples to apples comparisons and bids on the job i needed done..I then found some excellent reviews online for Royal Floors in our local Franklin farm shopping Center, and Amin (the owner) readily provided me with a list of reference phone numbers of local hardwood jobs his company had done.Our job was big: 1700 square feet of 8 3/4 hand scraped engineered wood planks, purchased at Floor and Decor.Royal Floors had a very competitive bid for the installation of the floors, the baseboard and the quarter round molding. I spoke to Amin a few times by phone and then met him at his store in Franklin Farm at the corner of Fairfax County Parkway and Franklin Farm Road. He was willing to stand by his work for 5 years, some of the other guys wouldnt even touch our job because we did not purchase the material through them.We decided to use Royal Floors to do the job, and that has turned out to be a good decision!!:We are very pleased and extremely happy, not only with the results but also with the outstanding customer service received from Amin. They were on time, clean, flexible, and their employees were all top notch.We are in the finishing stages of a major house remodel which included hardwood floors throughout the main floor. When all the work is complete I will follow up with pictures of the work Royal Floors did.I would highly recommend them to anyone!!

I hired Royal Floors to refinish our hardwoods on the main level, install hardwoods on the top level, install a runner and do some tile work. Royal Floors also created a beautiful tile design in the front entryway of my home.Amin the owner of Royal Floors is very easy to work with, and pro in his trade, Royal Floors prices are very reasonable, and Amin and his team took excellent care of my furniture during the process, they actually put back all furniture to where they were and fixed all my subfloor noises prior to installation for free. I highly recommend Royal Floors.

Seriously we couldnt be happier. Amin is the best at this craft. On the first visit he examined every thing from the littlest detail about our home. He was so thorough and professional and answered any questions we had. We needed cabinets for our basement bar and floor for our basement floor we ended up getting LVT for our floor and forevermark cabinets and his crew installed them beautifully. He knew the proper wood we should use and worked with us on the type and color making sure we were satisfied with our selection. He was courteous and efficient. We moved into new place with old carpet, so changing carpet to hardwood became our top task. My wife and I wanted to remove the carpet from our apartment and install laminate flooring because the dusty carpets were bothering our allergies. we wanted to find an affordable laminate installation package that wouldnt break the bank. Fortunately, we found Amin at Royal Flooring who had plenty of laminate options in store that fit within our budget.
