This is the worst Walgreens store! People is rude and they have enough people. I schedule my covid vaccine with a month in advance and when I get there they didn’t have no one to administer ! Terrible and also I wanted to mention that the pharmacist manager yell at his employees in front of the patients. So unprofessional…. Don’t send your prescriptions here.
Appointments for Flu shots don’t mean anything. They take walk-ins as well, so be prepared to wait. You’re better off going to Target down the road.
Walgreens is a nice store without counting its pharmacy. Beauty products, OTC vitamins and medicines, snacks, ice cream, cleaning products, pets stuff, cards, chocolates, candies, some gadgets for phone... something about your needs, but at A very high price. The prices are more than 3 or 4 dollars over the markets. It is a convincing store to buy those things that you get by visual attraction or I am here picking up my prescription. It is clean and organized. You pay the price over comfort. They offer coupons and rewards that you have to follow. Pharmacy is too crowded as drive thru, at some rush hours. Works very well with older people for obvious reasons, always make me think of them as a sort of taking advantage, but they dont oblige you to go. Good luck!
I’ve lived in 3 states and gone to a lot of different Walgreen’s. (This review is just about the pharmacy.) The wait time, efficiency, and (often) knowledge of staff at this one are so utterly horrible. It doesn’t matter what time of day you go. And it’s not just “wait more than 2 minutes” as referenced below- it’s regularly 20-30 minutes at least. I really must remember to transfer my prescriptions. Ugh.
Decent but the pharmacy is always slow. The drive thru especially is a very long wait, averages 15 minutes per car. The line backs up and so you have to wait upwards up 45 minutes just to get to the window.
The management here is terrible! Watch out for the old grumpy man who they call a manager, he looks like he’s on life support. Don’t waste your time coming here.Preferred this place when the manager Phil was there.
I originally wrote a scathing review when the head pharmacist denied my wife her meds and intimidated her doctor over the phone, complaining that her treatment plan put his license at risk. But in a surprising turn of events, I found Walgreens leadership, including the stores office manager (trained as a pharmacist), the Walgreens Social Care Unit, and the Regional Director of Pharmacy, responded to my grievance with reason, compassion, and flexibility. I couldnt ask for anything more. The head pharmacist is no longer employed with Walgreens, and the Regional Director reached out to the physician in an effort to restore the surrendered medication. The other pharmacists at this location have always given my wife the highest level of service within safety guidelines.
Always understaffed and very slow! If you stop in be prepared to wait 10-20 minutes in line.
Not sure why people are whining, Ive been going here for 7 years and never had an issue with the pharmacy or the store as a whole. Just because you have to wait more than 2 minutes doesnt mean anything more than youre not the center of their world and other people are ahead of you in line. After reading some of the reviews all I can say is the customer isnt always right. Ill continue going there and happy to do so.
HORRIBLE! I made an order through the app, couldnt be found, have gotten a run around from Doordash AND the store about my order.
Every time I go to this pharmacy I wait for longer than 10 minutes just to speak to someone. Right now I am at the drive through and have been waiting for 20 minutes. I still have two cars ahead of me.
This is the most incompetent pharmacy I have ever dealt with in all my years of life. If I could give them negative stars- My prescription was called in 2:30 yesterday and I called at 2:00 today because they hadn’t sent me a message that it was ready- and they said it would be ready at 4:30- now I’m here at 6:30 and it’s STILL not ready- I’m sitting here fuming- in terrible pain. I will NEVER come back to these idiots again
The reviews are all true, what a disaster this place is.
Terrible experience. People who work there appear to get mad easily with customers who are seeking for some help.
Pharmacy is understaffed and getting anything here is extremely slow. I’m never coming back to this location.
Absolutely awful pharmacy! Its convenient to go here but i will be switching! Prescriptions take days to be filled, are never ready when you get there even after spending 52 minutes (yes, i watched the clock) in the drive thru line! Even going into the store the line is down to the front! Its awful!
Super busy. Have a plan. They’re really nice and professional. But overwhelmed.
Made an appointment online 3 days in advance for a covid test for my daughter. When we showed up for the test, they didnt have any available. They should have called and told us in advance there were none available. They were unable to re-schedule the appointment, so we decided to go elsewhere. I gave them two stars because even though they wasted our time, they were pleasant to talk to and apologetic.
Called hours before picking up my prescription to make sure it was ready because I was leaving for a trip the next day. Pharmacist said my prescription would be ready to pickup. I go through the drive through and wait 45 minutes to find out my prescription is “not” ready. I sat at the window for another 15 minutes while the pharmacist scrambled inside. Bad experience overall.
I have just moved to the area and have only been to this pharmacy twice. On both occasions I sat in the drive-thru over 1 hour. Whenever I entered the drive-thru the lines were always short (about 3 cars ahead of me), so I assumed it should be a quick prescription drop off as it should. WRONG. There is no excuse for being this slow. At this pharmacy the drive-thru lines are designed in a way that once you are in line, you cannot get out of line once a car has gotten in line behind you. The first car in line was at the window about 35 minutes. Over ONE hour for three cars to move. This is completely unacceptable. You guys need to get it together. Will be using a different pharmacy from here on out.
We have been using this Walgreens since it opened because it’s convenient, but over the years we’ve had lots of issues in filling prescriptions. I am definitely switching pharmacies now. On September 23 my husband and I went in to see about getting the flu vaccine. My husband is in week one of a two week course of prednisone. We asked the pharmacist if there was any interaction and were told no, so we got the flu shot.Today David looked up interactions and found on Mayo Clinic’s site that there is a moderate interaction and efficacy of the vaccine may be reduced and one should speak to their doctor. Had this been conveyed he would have delayed getting the flu shot.Today I called the pharmacy and spoke to the pharmacist (it was a different pharmacist) to ask that they communicate with each other that there may be an interaction. First he told me that the interaction was only with a live vaccine and then he put me on hold, we kept looking and found a specific reference on drugs.com that says there is a moderate interaction with the inactive flu vaccine and that doctors may recommend waiting. When I was put back on with the pharmacist he stated that in his opinion there was no interaction and he would make the same recommendation. I responded that the decision should have been ours as consumers and they should have informed us. Especially during this time of the COVID-19 pandemic and the recommendations to get flu shots this year! It was not that pharmacist’s decision.
Worst place for pharmacy! This is the only pharmacy closer and on my way to work, grocery and other amenities. So I have no other easier option but I would never get my prescriptions filled here. Wait for refills are always take forever even after I get text that they are ready. Its not there are lot of customers in line but very bad staff in pharmacy. Once I also got wrong medication which I luckily realized before taking it. Avoid if it all possible.
Rude to customers, no sense of urgency whatsoever, no customer service skills.
Prescriptions are never ready when they tell you they will be ready, ever!
Worst pharmacy I’ve ever used. I’ve been trying for 3 days now to get Rx eyedrops. The drive thru was 5 or 6 cars deep so I went inside and there were 6 people in line! Twice I had to get out of line and leave or I’d be late for work! The wait time exceeded 20 minutes. Finally dropped off Rx at drive thru. Had to come back later to get it. They asked me to sign up for text msg alerts which i did. Never received a text that it was ready so I called the pharmacy and they said it was ready. Drove there after work at 4 pm on the 3rd day! Drive-thru had 6 cars. Went inside where i was third in line. When my order was rung up i was told i got the generic brand. I didn’t order generic! I had a coupon for the actual product the dr ordered. Pharmacist had to be consulted resulting in a 20 minute wait so far. Still standing here empty handed. Will never use this Pharmacy again. They need serious process improvements or more personnel. Not my problem and no longer my pharmacy.
Dont waste your time trying to get a flu shot here. They are the most disorganized pharmacy I have ever been to. I waited almost an hour and left without my flu shot.
Make sure your gas tank is full before doing a drive thru prescription pick up. Sat at the window for over 20 minutes before I was given my prescription. They act like they have no idea what theyre doing in there.
Im not sure what these negative reviews are all about. Ive been going to this pharmacy for years and never had a single issue in getting prescriptions filled or with customer service. I would recommend.
This entire pharmacy staff should be fired. I called the first time to ask if they had a medication in stock. ( so I could bring my prescription) the lady was clearly irritated and asked me why I wanted to know. She put me on hold and then hung up. I call back and speak to another representative and ask if they had the medication in stock. The new person asked me for my date of birth and if I filled there before. She then put me on hold for 22 minutes to finally come back and tell me only one of the prescriptions was in stock. This is no way to treat a potential customer. I see why this location has such poor reviews.
Very easy and convenience to refill medication from Walgreens .
Horrible experience went to check out and the guy was extremely rude seemed to not want to be at work. Threw my change on the counter. I will not be going back to this location.
The pharmacy continues to go down hill. Twice in one month they LOST my Pain Medicine, you see the employees searching all the bins....Also if you have too or want tospeak to a pharmacist on a Sunday in the afternoon, good luck...Moving my prescriptions to Safeway...HAD ENOUGH......
Normally a great location but when I went to get my 30 day prescription for antidepressants filled they only gave me 5 of the 30 doses. No one told me, didnt find out until I went to take them at night. Now I have to figure out why they short-filled my order.Thankfully, antidepressants dont have to build up in your system to be effective. Thankfully I rarely struggle with suicidal actions when I wasnt on antidepressants. Thankfully there isnt a serious issue going on right now that is stressing everyone out. Thankfully they fully wanted to take the time to explain what was going on and when I could expect more. Wait in line once they fill your order and count everything out. They are no longer trustworthy or reliable and should have their license revoked.
Its never too crowded, masks are required, dividers at checkout and sanitary. All you could ask for these days from a place to shop at.
Pharmacy needs to get it together........
The low star reviews of the store, or plain wrong. They are written by the rich snobby impatient people who live in the area. The store is incredibly organized, clean, and can the customer service at the main counter is it dominatorPharmacy is always busy but that’s the nature of the pharmacy business, when have you seen one boy busy.
Understaffed pharmacy, causes painfully long wait times in the drive through. Always a ridiculous wait time in the line inside or in the drive through.Eta: Ive been waiting in line behind one single car for 30 mins. Why arent we asking folks to pull forward or come in if they are waiting for a prescription?
I understand the poor reviews for this pharmacy as I constantly have to wait excessive periods of time when coming here. Today, I thought I would be smart and get here when they opened at 9. Wrong, it is 5 minutes past 9, and they still havent opened. Ridiculous pharmacy with employees that dont seem to care. I overheard one employee remark Theres already a line forming.. Of course there is, it is after 9 am. Evidently, customers know their hours better than they do.
I can rarely get my medication here and will sit on hold for 40 minutes to get hung up on twice. Im switching pharmacies ASAP. Terrible.
1. The store itself is clean and neat.2. Staff there are generally friendly, nice and greet you whenever you go into the store.3. Majority of the pharmacists are helpful and knowledgeable (except for one instance that a pharmacist seem to be lost and inefficient. However, I no longer see her in this store anymore.) They are patient in answering questions. The wait time is generally short.
This is the worst pharmacy I have ever used. On multiple occasions they have shorted me on prescriptions, and for auto-refills they never order my meds to have when they come due. When they are short, they make we get a temporary prescription for a weeks meds which cost me 4x what a 90 prescription of the same medication cost at that store. I only use them because my insurance mandates me to use Walgreens.
Repeated late for processing prescriptions in person, drive-through, or pickup. This doesnt seem bother the pharmacy staff in the least. I see zero ownership of problems and they dont communicate well. I recommend that you seek out a different pharmacy or get your prescriptions in the mail.
A pharmacy to avoid. We called them in advance to check if they had a certain vaccine in stock and were told they had it by the assistant pharmacist. When we showed up 15 minutes later, the head pharmacist told us that the vaccine had been out of stock for months. Disappointed, we returned home and called again to ask why we were told it was in stock when it wasnt. The same assistant picked up, denied that we had talked to her, and tried to blame it on her colleagues, however we clearly recognized her voice. Were not necessarily upset that the vaccination wasnt in stock as mistakes can happen, however denying and lying about the conversation makes it difficult to trust this pharmacy again.
I always found this pharmacy to be competent, efficient and nice. The store has great people who always help. They don’t always have an answer, but they really try to help you and I appreciate that.
Supermarket and pharmacy
Unfortunately its the only close Walgreens. Ive been a loyal customer for years but will be switching. Long lines, slow waits. I have prescriptions on auto refill and still not ready on time. Ive had NOTHING but issues and if you call - plan on waiting an hour. If you go in and its not ready, be ready to wait an hour
The pharmacy is pretty bad and its a guarantee that you are going to wait to pick up your prescription even if it says its ready. The store itself is great but I wouldnt recommend the pharmacy.
Ive used this pharmacy for several years but things have gone significantly downhill in the last couple of months. The newer staff are incompetent and miserable and have bad attitudes. (Jenny needs to find a job that doesnt require direct interaction with human beings.) Phone wait times are 10+ minutes and she will sometimes just disconnect you while on hold.Ive always come here because the pharmacist knows her stuff, but now I need to find another pharmacy that doesnt hire lousy staff. What a pain.
Probably one of the worst pharmacies around, second only to CVS down the street. Had Rx called in before they opened. I called multiple times asking for status. They didn’t see anything. Called again at 11, they said they’d have it done in 45 minutes. I show up an hour later, they don’t have anything. No record of it. Sick, in pain, needing to be in bed but instead driving around chasing down meds that might not exist. So I come home and get a text at 2:30 saying the Rx is ready. Go elsewhere.
I went there for a flu shot. There was a pretty long line for dropping off and picking up prescriptions. Same line for flu shot. No movement after some time, so I left.
They used to have good customer service but not anymore. Whoever they hired are very rude. I’m talking about people at general checkout. Also, their pharmacy messed up our prescription.
The pharmacy staff is unbelievably incompetent. We waited 45 minutes in line with just 4 people ahead of us. The staff had no idea what they were doing and were short with us for no reason. Go literally anywhere else for your pharmacy needs.
If I could give them zero stars I would. Worst pharmacy ever... they had my prescription for over a week and couldnt even bother to give me a phone call telling me that they did not have medication available or send it to another pharmacy.
Terrible pharmacy experience. Waited 30 minutes in drive through line for TWO CARS to be served. Finally gave up and went around the front and into the store. There, about 7 people were waiting as well. Had to leave entirely and am planning to go back another day. Will be switching pharmacies after this, as coming here has now become a nuisance.
This store is a quick stop shop for me. What I found interesting, is that there seem to be issues with the employees. An employee called for assistance only to have a person who appeared to be a manager reply “what” & “why are you calling me”. I was shocked by the level of unprofessionalism. She appeared to be bothered by the young man’s request. I was so displeased, that I left the store without buying anything. I really hope that gentleman Jarod reported the behavior to another manager. Because that young lady needs to re-evaluated or assigned to do something else.
Ridiculously expensive for photo printing. Never go there for your digital needs.
This is my neighborhood pharmacy and I love the staff here. Theyre always helpful and provide excellent service.
Pharmacy used to be good but the service has since tanked. Totally mismanaged. They cant handle even mild volume. Would avoid.
The pharmacy techs are some of the most miserable - i-hate-my-job people ever! (The pharmacist is nice) Consistently, they are just not friendly. They seem super annoyed that people want to fill their prescriptions. Ive been to this pharmacy maybe 30 times in 3 years and only once did I have a pleasant experience. I asked the young man if he was new, he said he was sent over to from the hospital to fill hours. After that day, it returned to the usual grumpy butts. :-(
Ista very canis people
Im just here to write the 69th review.
The store itself is good. The photo center is decent too.The main problem is with the Pharmacy Department. For refills, they always give generics even though you mentioned you wanted the name brand. The main issue was when I went to get a vaccine, and all preventive measures are covered 100% through my work plan from aetna. Everybody knows that. They just checked a minute and said I will have to pay out of pocket and that my insurance does not cover it. What the hell?? I just said Thanks. (and thought that was the last time I am entering into this store for pharmacy). Then went to CVS close by and it was covered 100% as expected.
Dropped off a Rx (while listening to the pharmacist give an elderly gentleman the run around about why they didnt have his insulin Rx ready and couldnt give him more than 1 month supply - even though his insurance would pay for it).I was told my Rx would be ready in an hour - but figured they needed more time because there were at least 8 people in line behind me...so I went back the next day to pick it up. I had a rebate card because its a newer drug, and it should have cost $0. They charged me $19 (not a big deal) but couldnt tell me why... I called my Dr. and had them call the pharmacy... only to find out they charged me because THEY couldnt fill the Rx completely (didnt have enough of it), which means they couldnt use the rebate card and therefore had to charge me : /This has been my pharmacy for a few years and I never had these issues before. Seems like its time to find a new one!
Long wait...waited more than 40 minutes and everytime I went to ask, they said just 5-10 minutes more.
Depending on the pharmacist on staff this can be the worst pharmacy in town or the best. Be weary if you see an older white man with a short beard as the pharmacist because he won’t even call your doctor if he’s got a problem with your meds you’ve been prescribed. He just denies you and tells you to go somewhere else. I’ve been coming here for years and I only ever have a problem with this one pharmacist, He makes up “a new policy” on the spot trying to give me the run around. And when I go to the next Walgreens they apologize to me for his behavior. If you’re reading this sir, grow up. You went to school to help people. Don’t forget that
Constantly out of stock of almost every thing we need. Waiting up to seven days to get new meds. Beside to order refills more than a week in advance, if you can.
Done with this place. I have had many issues, but the last two times, they did not give us enough medication for the amount of days my son was supposed to take it. Seriously???!
Bad costumer service, most pharmacists are not friendly and always seem like they bothered with my request! And always under staffed too bad it the only drive thru pharmacy in the area
Over 3 hours to fill a prescription? you have got to be kidding. no thanks i will go elsewhere next time. and they did not text me like they said they would when it was ready. when questioned why so long. answer we had a lot of flu shots to give. SO FLU SHOTS TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER SOMEONE IN PAIN FROM SURGERY?
Only reason for not having a 1 star is store was well stocked and employees were well dressed/groomed... Reason for poor review is that after the initial transaction failed (Im a couponer btw) manager stepped in to assist. I had a digital coupon that wasnt dropping in the transaction and was told blatantly that nothing could be done if it didnt load automatically... So I thought luckily I have this printable one for the same item/same value Ill just use it (I was trying to avoid physical coupon if I could save it for later since the digital was clipped to my card). After showing the printable it was declined because some internet coupons are fake I pointed out that he could verify using the veri-fone thats printed on the coupon and was given a solid no. Will bring my business to another location... (Also to make it a little more sad... I had a receipt from the previous day where this same purchase had been done using a mixture of newspaper coupons and printable and was told to just put it away because it didnt matter what that store did) ... I thought one company one policy. Website policy states IP are acceptable but up to stores discretion... So I understand but if theres a method to verify authenticity and youre telling me you wont take it because you fear you wont be reimbursed... Then verify... Not sure why that seemed so difficult. Even then after the initial transaction failed in which both my newspaper coupons were accepted upon talking to the manager and working through the transaction was told now he would only accept 1 coupon per transaction... Literally every time I took one step forward it was two steps back and not really any customer service from the manager of the store... So thats my rant... If you coupon, youre most likely better off visiting either another location or shopping CVS or something other than Walgreens in this area.
I came to get prescription for my severe wisdom tooth pain..and I couldnt afford the whole prescription so I asked for the ones that will help the most with my severe pain and they told me I have to purchase my whole prescription in order to get what I need!!! The white lady (didnt see a name tag or anything) told me to move from the drive through line because I was holding up traffic behind me in line..I said Im a customer as well and Im refusing to leave until my transaction isnt done because I didnt want to wait in line all over again. So then she said she will ask store manager to come...once he arrived I explained my situation to him and he told me we have to call the doctor to verify this prescription I told him its a doctors prescription thats been signed and I just got it from the urgent care few moments ago..then he started saying he doesnt know whats going on and then he said she doesnt want to fill the other two prescriptions up because she doesnt feel comfortable doing it since its our policy ....so I said you wont give me my prescription that I need right now? He said No so I asked for my prescription back and asked for his name because he also wasnt wearing a name tag and he said his name is PHILIP. I said youll be hearing from me because Im not happy. He smirked at me and said ok cool.Very very very rude customer service and now Im still in severe pain because Wallgreens wouldnt provide me with a AUTHORIZED prescription that I gave to them.Upper management should definitely get involved in this and retrain your employees on better customer service.I will contact corporate as well and get to the bottom of this.Very disappointed!!!!!!!!!
Been going to this store since it opened.Joan in the pharmacy is great!
First one in line this morning and ignored after the pharmacy opened LATE! On top of that it’s going to take a half hour to fill a prescription when I’m the only one here!
Pharmacy never sends reminders.Hour long waitsAVOID,AVOID,AVOID, I now go 30 minutes out of my way for pharmacy services.
Use fir all my prescriptions
I will definitely be switching pharmacies after today. I got 3 robocalls and an email saying my prescription is ready to be picked up, yet when I went to the pharmacy, the pharmacist said they had no record of my prescription. That, and for the last 3 months, theyve been out of one of the drugs I usually get there. Warning: Dont try to do any refills online. Also, dont complain to Walgreens Corporate customer service about a problem with the website, etc. Theyll just get the pharmacist to call you. Maddening! They also seem to be consistently out of sale items - on Sunday morning even. And they give you a hard time about using rain checks when the items finally come in.
Went here for a flu shot. Did not accept VA insurance or Cigna Insurance.
They dont take Aetna as a corporate policy according to Eric and Scott.... Walgreen sucks! ... No wonder they are moving their corporate headquarters to Ireland to avoid US the tax. They dont support the United and they dont support the US worker... Boycott Walgreen and shop at Herndon pharmacy.
Prices are high. I recommend Rite aid.
This is a pretty average Walgreens. Which isnt a bad thing!
Always pleasant staff.
Nice store but short handed and pharmacy WAY Too slow got left on the phone WAY too many times
Surprisingly Very bad at giving proper response to the customers!!!!Change need in pharmacy department!!!
Extremely extremely slow staff at the pharmacy.
Rude management and awful customer service
Avoid this store if you want print picture. When I order 4x6 online it shows $1.xxWhen I get there they want charge $22.xxThey say its passport style Picture. I say bullshit. Goodbye ugly Wallgreen.
There is a girl that always has a Im disgusted look on her face, its disturbing to me never smile looks like she doesnt want to be there also when she was brought up to the register for her the older lady was having trouble getting her wallet out of her pocket the girl that works there thought it was funny and laughed trust me there was nothing funny about it.
Employees are not attentive
So clean !
My patient was charged excessively for his medication that would otherwise cost 1/3 the price at Safeway/Giant or Costco.
Pharmacy staff very rude
It is ok
I called to see if they carried a product and before I drove out, I luckily found out that they are a Walgreens Pharmacy ONLY FOR Sprint Employees.
Cool
