I love shopping here and I have for many years. Great selection of products and the team that works there know their stuff. They give great honest recommendations. I feel valued as a customer and their rewards program is awesome.

This is the only real beauty supply store in northern Virginia. They have a huge selection and great prices. Been going to this location for 5+ years.

Its a nice beauty supply store, but they seem scared...lolThey followed me to show me what I was looking for, WAITED to see what I was doing. I told her that I will get the hair back in Georgia. Being a Black and Disabled Black woman I STILL have things like that happen to me. Lord help us.

I moved to Reston in 2015, and I have been shopping at this store since then.No one has ever been rude, discourteous or made me feel uncomfortable while shopping. I have received at least 500.00 in free stuff with their points program.Everyone of them talk to me ad say Hello. One of the workers there even share pics of their baby girl when I come and and visit.Thank you for providing great customer service.Liz

Will find everything you need for hair here. Wig prices are reasonable as well. Travel from Purcellville just to come here. Sallys could never compare.

I have been going here for several years. The owner is so NICE AND still remembers my name...even with a hat and a face mask 😷.

I purchased a miracle drop hair growth serum called Keleidoscope. I do not believe that this the original product so beware. I applied @Keleidoscope to my scalp one night before I went to sleep and that next morning when I woke up my hair was extremely itchy. I literally had to find a salon so that they could treat my scalp. I am now approaching my 3rd treatment. I tried to inform the store manager of this situation so that I could be refunded and maybe they could look into this matter(wishful thinking) but they stated that due to COVID they are not doing refunds.

Great customer service! Its nice to be able to walk around a store without being followed. The hair counter clerk is very knowledgeable about getting the right color to match your natural color. They have a great point system to save up for discounts. Affordable! Great Selection of products!

If it were exceptionally clean (which is hard to upkeep with customers in/out) and a water fountain (ha, just kidding, or am I?) would push it to 5 stars....eh, Im hard to please (wont be the first time I heard that...)

I am very disgruntled about my experience here. I drove 20 minutes out because it is the closet beauty supply to me to no given adequate service. The cashier try to charge me more than the sign presented for items even after I pointed out the issue. The conversation was not friendly either I would not recommend.

Customer service is not to great. There is a rude man there and they always think your going to steel something, my personal opinion they need to get cameras if they don’t already have any and stop following people around the store that’s very uncomfortable. Also they need to be nicer to there customers. Me and my mom went in there and the guy was just rude. But I do like the products great stuff.

They have a lot of product but the pricing is way higher than other places.I do visit many places as I travel often and I do like that you have many items. I understand that in business that you have to be competitive but its only to a degree. If prices are much hire that other competitors then you will loss business so be mindful of that please. Wonderful staff...Glad I am black. They follow you everywhere. So I do take advantage of the situation..I never steal..so i make sure they hold my merchandise, while I continue to shop with my personal shopper is there to hold everything....I love this place. I have been a loyal customer for five years. And I still receive the same service...I love it...but it is so funny how I am followed around...but my white sisters ROB them blind....at least they cant say it was me...they watch like they the police....but I will continue as shopping there, cause I love having my own personal shopper. So if you are not black...you can rob them blind.... Black folks...continue paying for your merchandise

The credit card machine was not working but my bank statement showed that the money came out of my account. I showed him my account and he wasn’t going to let me take my things because his machine didn’t print a receipt. I stayed in the store for 2 hours trying to get the things that I purchased and finally he gave them to me. When I got home the lady sold me the wrong color ponytail and now they have a Huge NO RETURN AND NO EXCHANGE SIGN UP PLUS YOU CANT USE THE POINTS THAT YOU EARNED!INSTEAD THEY ARE GIVING YOU 10 percent off your purchase 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Worth a try. They have lots of old school ethnic hair care products. However, do not expect a lots of customer service. The two gentleman preparing a product order were more interested in that than allowing customers to shop. Not only did they never say hello to us (three women), they moved in front of us to chatter about what was on shelf and blocked access for shopping.

Newbie wig shoppers - Sue was very patient with all my questions! They have so many good wigs.. I found 3 I like, and came back the next day with a friend (who quickly bought a wig she liked).Note: you must buy a new $1 cap to try on wigs, but you get $1 back when you buy a wig 🙂 I highly recommend Beauty World in Herndon !

I bought a mask here that clearly comes with a filter. They are opening the packages and selling the filters separately. When I told them this they refused to refund me even though I had just bought the mask 2 mins ago. Bad business practices. Anything to make a buck.

My favorite place! Staff is very friendly however, Ive noticed some disrespect towards the employees and thats NOT NICE PEOPLE!!!!

Lots of hair available but somewhat limited to the same brands. The staff is terse and only helpful when you seek them. They do have a rewards program.

I had searched four or five stores looking for ORS Carrot Oil. I was thankful that this store had the product in stock, but the customer service was horrible. The first cashier simply ignored me and stayed on the phone without a simple, Ill be with you in one second, maam. The second cashier was helpful, which is the only reason they get two stars.

Be careful about using your credit card at this establishment because both my parents card were compromised after use here.

This store may have a good selection, but their customer service is horrible! How dare you think you can treat people condescendingly and disrespectfully! I purchased braiding hair; I had too much and went to do a return with a new credit card because the one I used was lost. Very nastily the store clerk told me he needed the same card. I explained why I had a new card, but he didnt care. I told him if the return didnt go back to the credit card, it was no big deal, I would contact my bank. Finally, he got the owner, and I explained again, and I told him the clerk has awful customer service skills. The owner was only slightly better. Beauty World you are not doing me a favor taking my hard earned money, and since I often shop at your establishment, I will no longer patronize your business.

I go here all the time to get hair and there are so many types of hair. The products are amazing and I just love this store.

This place is ok given the area its in. Theres not alot of updated selections on wigs, plus their veryyyyyyy overpriced. The only reason I go to this store is because of the location. They do have a nice selection of hair products.

HORRIBLE!!! please dont EVER shop here. I tried on a wig that was on display, liked it, then purchased it. When i got home and opened the box i was APPALED. I paid almost $400 for a wig that wasnt even worth $20. The quality was horrible and NOTHING like the one i tried on. TOTAL SCAM and rip off. They have zero customer service skills. They do NOT deserve your money, even if its just $1. Please shop elsewhere. I hope they get in trouble for this scam business they are running. I cant wait until they close down.

They have ALMOST everything! They do not sell wax strips or the X-Pressions Hair. I have to go to Sallys for wax and I discovered a GREAT lil place for hair inside of Salon Plaza in Herndon (walk in, turn left and then turn right as you walk right before the bathrooms).

Im just stuck on the horrible customer service. The wigs werent even all that. They were raggedy. They circle you like vultures and instead of saying Maam wereally getting ready to close. Is there anything we can help you with? they just started shutting off the lights. Plus they talk about you in their language. SMDH. I hope they took a picture of me because they will never see this face again.

Staff isnt that nice. Only reason they get business is because they are the only ethnic store you can visit in Northern Va that sells hair, wigs and products for people of color without having to make the trip to DC/MD ....

Brought lace wig glue went home to install lace the glue top wouldnt open and you could see through bottle it was all dried up took it back with receipt and they would not exchange for new bottle was very rude told me I used all and trying to get more I was just at store 20min ago same man waited on me never will go back

Wigs are double the price they would be in NYC or even online. Was told that I wasnt good enough to touch the wigs that I was thinking of trying on or buying. Oh well. Ended up leaving without my basket FULL of products.
