Hendersonville Eye Care use to be a wonderful business. They were bought by My Eye Care and have gone terribly downhill. We tried for 3 months to get a pair of sun glasses in, and after being late, it was not right. They tried at least 3 times to make them, and the lab was not able to get it right. I feel bad for the folks who work there because they cant control the labs malfunctioning. It just got to be too outrageous! They were quick to refund me, and I appreciated that.

Last year I tried Carolina Opthamology once again. A number of years ago I received a botched surgery from an eye surgeon there who was shortly thereafter listed in an article in the paper as being charged with drug offenses. Last year when I returned the Ophthalmologist was excellent, but the assistant was so haughty, pushy, and aggravating that she was unable to dilate my eyes. She said that she had worked there for many years.I doNOT recommend this place.

A yearly exam, just went in thinking I was getting new glasses, and Dr. Cannon found something that could have been overlooked, but quickly got me seen by a specialist. I am so grateful and thankful that Dr. Cannon is thorough and conscientious. The whole team at MyEyeDr was awesome, I was impressed, but also more grateful than these few words can express.

After they fitted me with contacts they gave me a 5 day trial of the lenses that I was fitted for. After a few days I decided I would order them, so I called them and finalized my prescription and ordered them. They charged me more than double what I was used to paying so I had them send me an email of my prescription, which was when I noticed that they ordered and wrote me a prescription for a completely different contact lense than what I was originally prescribed. The trails that I had were a different brand and they were daily lenses. The ones they ordered me were a different brand and monthly lenses. So I called back and they said they would fix it and I could bring in the wrong lenses and trade them “even out” for the correct lenses.this is wrong too because they correct lenses are about half the price of the wrong lenses. So disagreed and she said she would fix t. They then called me back and said that they could order me the correct lense except I would owe them money because the correct contacts only came in a three Monty supply, which is a straight out lie. So I told her that’s not true and that I have ordered them before in a month supply. So then they called me back and had a correct order with the lenses I was supposed to originally get in a month supply and that they would give me a store credit towards my next order because they supposedly couldn’t give me a refund for the difference in price, even though they are they ones that made the mistake in the first place. I disagreed with them and decided to cancel the entire order and told them I would get my contacts from somewhere else and they agreed that if I bought in the wrong contacts that they had ordered me, that they would give me my money back. So I did and they said they could only mail me a check. So a week went by, and I finally received the check for half the price that I payed for the contacts. So I called and complained and they agreed that they would finally send me a check for the other half that they owed me. THIS BUSINESS IS VERY DISHONEST AND SHADY. Do not buy from them. It’s been over a month since my original visit and they were continuously untruthful to me.

This is the second time I had my eye exam with this eye doctor. The experience During the eye exam was quite pleasant until I got my glasses. Last year, they got my prescription wrong and this week they messed up my glasses again! Good heavens, I just had the worst day at work because I couldn’t see squat. All afternoon I struggle with this set of glasses and my eyes are killing me now.It’s difficult to comprehend how one place made the same mistake, multiple times, with the same customer.

The ladies who work there are very very nice! THEY DO EVERY THING THEY CAN TO HELP YOU.very nice place to get your glasses.

I was impressed with Dr Cannon who was very thorough. He gave me a detailed explanation and plan of treatment which is working. Very efficient and friendly office staff who were able to get me in without an appointment due to my problem which needed immediate attention. I would highly recommend this practice. .

He explained what he was doing during the exam and took the time to answer all of my questions. Amy who helped me with glasses was very knowledgeable, professional, friendly and helped me pick out a pair of glasses and sunglasses. Would highly recommend to others.

My husband is a patient at Hendersonville eye Care so when it came to me having to get glasses I decided to get a Hendersonville eye Care as well because of how highly my husband speaks of his experiences there. As soon as I walked in the door I knew it was right place for me they were kind and very helpful. With my complicated medical condition concerning my eyes I had a lot of questions and they were very patient and informative when answering them. When I was picking out my frames I had a lot of help from the employees in that department they also answered every question I had about my special lenses and my insurance. Ill definitely be happily going back there for any eye care Ill have in the future.

Over the past few years, I have had a wonderful experience with Hendersonville Eye Care. Their office staff is so friendly and helpful. I am always impressed by their ability to be so efficient while maintaining a personal touch. It really is a well-run office, and I cannot say enough nice things about Dr Kampe, Dena (I hope I am spelling that correctly), and all of the staff.

Hands down, best doctors office I have been to that completely went over and beyond for my four year old daughter. The staff was extremely friendly, patient, and caring the entire appointment. When it comes to eye care or examinations our family will not go anywhere else.

We were visiting in Hendersonville for Thanksgiving and realized my husband had forgotten both his daily contact lenses and eyeglasses. Being out of town we called the first ophthalmologist that popped up on google maps. Sydney (spelling?), who was the wonderful staff member to answer the phone, went above and beyond and was able to locate the appropriate lenses in an incredibly short amount of time. Considering we are not even their patients this was all very impressive. I can only imagine how well they take care of their actual paying patients.

Hendersonville Eye Care is top notch. Dr. Cannon is well-respected and does excellent care and counsel. The staff is delightful and very helpful. I enjoy going!

Went above and beyond to help me. From check in, to checkout. Wonderful experience. The dr took her time and explained everything to me help me with suggestions and getting some paperwork processed too. Thank you all. I was nervous about going since I was a new patient. Basically a walk in, I scheduled the apt the night before online, but they all made the experience one to recommend to others. In and out start to finish, new paperwork, eye exam and glasses fitting in about an hour and a half. No waiting time either. Most of the time was with the exam, and making sure I could see clearly. Not just a quick check and next patient please. She took her time with me and made me feel like I was somebody. Thank you for that. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Upon my arrival and throughout my whole appointment, the staff was EXTREMELY friendly! Ive worn glasses since 5th grade and Im now 62 so Im no stranger to eye doctors, exams, glasses...,. and I can say these folks are the best Ive ever had! My wife and I have both become recent patients and wish wed done this years ago. We both said it was the best eye exam weve ever had. The selection of frames and the care to get you in an awesome pair of glasses and make sure youre happy is fantastic. I recently had an eye emergency and Dr. Cannon was on call. He met us at the office, gave me a thorough exam, explained everything that was going on and reassured us that all was well and theyd be there if we have any concerns. So happy with Hendersonville Eye Care!

The staff and physicians are excellent here! I took my 5 year old in for an eye exam and the experience was wonderful. Dr. Denton is great with kids and the staff were so patient with my son. The optical center was great too. I definitely recommend this place!

Dr. Cannon has been handling my eye care needs for over 20 years. I wouldnt see anyone else, even if you paid me to go there. I have some unusual eye issues and he has worked with me over the years to make my eyesight as good as humanly possible. Highly, Highly recommend Dr. Cannon and his the friendly staff.

Ive worn glasses for 40+ years and never had as thorough and professional exam and evaluation as I received from Dr Canon. The optician side of the office is well staffed with courteous service and one of the widest selection of high end frames in the region.

My experience is from a relationship with eye care provided by professionals at every function. My annual eye exam is conducted withthoroughness because they care.

I was having trouble with my eyes and went to Dr. Cannon because of a friends recommendation. He recommended cataract surgery which I had done. The results were remarkable. Dr. Cannon and his staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is having eye problems.

Dr. Kilgo is my doctor and he has fantastic bedside manner. Evelynn and Melissa always help me out with my glasses. They are always kind and help me pick what is best for me and my insurance. I had not had an eye doctor appointment for five years and was beginning to worry my eyes were not up to snuff. Being new in town it is hard to figure out whose recommendation is the best. I was impressed beyond belief from the moment I called to make an appointment to walking out after the visit. Not only was my exam extensive, it was affordable and my eyes now feel like they have a guardian angel watching after them. The state of the art equipment, and the knowledge of the staff and the doctors was exceptional.The good news is my eye sight is still pretty great and I just need to eat more green leafy veggies, take my vitamins and wear my sunglasses....and a few readers for the various things I do. I never felt so happy leaving an eye appointment before.

I would rate Hendersonville Eye Care as a definite place for your eye care and eyeglass needs. Dr. Kilgo is wonderful and very caring. The staff is very nice and HAPPY. I have never seen a happier staff so that tells me it is a good place to work. They are very helpful in picking out your eye wear and will fix and adjust your glasses when needed, even the ones you did not buy from them. I am very pleased with their service and my husband who went for his first time was as well. Looking forward to getting our new eyeglasses, always a good selection.

Make sure you know your insurance benefits. My son waited 2 months for his contact lens exam and then gets there and they dont even do it. They tried to charge $125 for what they told my husband was to show him how to put them on and that they had them in stock, but hed have to come back? WHAT? I called and spoke with Christy who was very sweet and not rude like the one who answered the phone and she correctly pulled our benefits and found out we only owe $60 for the fitting exam. Just be sure youre educated in your insurance coverage before you go. Doctors are nice and remodel looks good but train your staff please. Was going to give a 1 star but Christys willingness to help and understand pushed it up one.

Hendersonville Eye care is an office visit I look forward to, The staff is always so friendly and kind, very Helpful with any questions I may have.. And Dr. Kilgo is who I have been going to for several years, he always has a smile on his face, makes you feel like you belong and is kind friendly and always ready to answer any questions I may throw at him. Dr Cannon, is also kind and very friendly...I have not had the pleasure to meet Dr. Denton, But I hear she is just as wonderful.. to be in such a wonderful clean caring office is an Honor... thank you staff and Doctors.. My initial review was one star based on some billing, customer service and quality of care issues. However, Dr. Cannon went out of his way to acknowledge and resolve my concerns, so I have revised my review to 3 stars.

Having had a detached retina a number of years ago, I am very protective of my eyes and particular about who I go to for examinations. I could not be more satisfied with the thoroughness and knowledge of Dr. Kilgo, or more delighted by the selection of eyewear they carry. And if that were not enough to recommend Hendersonville Eye Care, you will not find a more pleasant, polite, or considerate group of people anywhere. Bar none. Youre wasting your time looking for more caring professionals than you will find here.
