Ordered a part for my mower through Amazon from this company and never received it. Looks like other people have had the same problem. They issue a tracking number but USPS never receives the package. Tried to contact them twice with no response. Very disappointed. In times like this with Covid19 this is how you treat your customers. This is one business that I would love for everyone to boycott.
If I could give them negative stars I would! Do not buy anything from this joke of a company. I bought a chainsaw chain from them off Amazon. They accepted my payment of $25, But I never received my chain... After multiple attempts to email them and them sending me back automated emails. I finally get an employee to email me back, Telling me my item is shipped and on its way. Its been over 2 months now and still no chainsaw chain.
I ordered a part for a mower that is broke down in the middle of my yard with an anticipated delivery date of one week. Its been a week and they still have not shipped the part. Im going to end up going to a parts store 30 miles away and buy it over the counter I suppose. Its great weather for mowing, sadly not for me.
I have been a customer of theirs before I even bought my first trimmer, they have a very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff that helped me find parts, understand more about the equipment I am interested in and have sold me good hard working equipment that performs at or above my expectations.Mike, Patrick, Josh and Chris are almost always able to help or know where to go ask so I can get the answers.I recommend to my friends family and anyone else looking for a good place to go there for their parts, equipment or service.
For starters, I ordered 3 different lawnmower parts on Amazon on 19 April 2020. The very next day I had a notification from Amazon stating my parts would ship and be to my home in Oklahoma by 28 April. Well, 28 April came and went and I received a notification from Amazon stating that my parts were running late so I gave it a few days. When my parts didn’t arrive by 7 May I had to reach out to USPS to find out where my parts were since the tracking through Amazon stated they had shipped and were sitting in Wake Forest, North Carolina. I talked to USPS and the tracking number assigned to my package was also the same tracking number to two different packages belonging to other individuals. USPS stayed I needed to talk to the third party seller and since Engine Masters was closed, I reached out to Amazon and explained what I was told by USPS, Amazon in turn emailed the company on 7 May. On 8 May I received an email from Engine Masters stating that due to high volume of customer messages due to COVID-19, they would get back to me by 14 May. Today is 20 May and I tried calling the business 8 different times and got the automated answering system where I would sit on hold for 5:30 to 5:45 seconds each time when the system would hang up on me. Supposedly Engine Masters prides itself in customer service according to their website and I would beg to differ because nobody wants to answer the phone and the only number they list nobody answers. I would not recommend this company for any parts and I’ve requested a refund for their piss poor customer service!!!!
The staff at Engine Masters helped me out when I was trying to figure the right lawn mower for my yard. I was very difficult to please but Josh made sure I was happy before I left. Love the mower and the staff was GREAT
We ordered (30) chainsaw chains on 7/10/2020 and on 7/17/2020 we received (30) lawn blades. When they finally figured out what they did, they issued a call tag for the lawn mower blades on 7/29/2020. They refused to ship the chainsaw chain we need until they get their lawn mower blades. Maybe well get our chain by 8/10/2020 a month after we ordered it. Terrible customer service! Dont buy from them!

Bought a maintenance kit for my Kohler engine on the Walmart website but shipped by Engine Masters. It had a picture of the exact kit I wanted which contained 2 quarts of oil, 2 spark plugs, 1 fuel filter, 1 oil filter, and 1 air filter with the foam cover. What I received was nothing like it. I received 1 quart of oil, 1 spark plug (really a 2 cylinder engine!) no fuel filter, no oil filter, a solid piece of black foam (dont what thats for) a little tube of grease. Buyer beware - you cant get a return call. All you get is an automated email from a khight saying that they will be in touch in 48 hours but they never contact you in any way.Well I finally was contacted by knight. I received a full refund and a return label for the wrong parts sent. After reading other reviews it’s probably not a good time to be ordering from them. I spoke with a woman there who said the one store is closed and they handle the online sales and she can’t talk to them (?????) and have no phone numbers for that store’s manager or employees. She was in their other store doing inventory. All seems weird, to me.
This is the worst customer service from a company I have ever received, There is no ability to communicate with different parts of their business unit and electric response is non existent. The Brick and Mortar has no ability to interface with its online store presence ie Amazon. Employees sound ed indifferent to my issues as well. I would recommend not using them IRL or on and Digital Platform.
I had a great experience at Engine Masters. Bought a Push Mower from there about a year ago. Brought it in or service and was back to me within a few days. The service was fantastic i was contacted as soon as they knew what all had to be done to it, and was informed on how much it would be and when it would be complete. I was very happy with the customer service from start to finish!!! Great place to do business!!!
Horrible customer service, been waiting on a weedeater part since April 17 2020, only way i can communicate is email. I keep getting the same message over and over. I called and the girl i talked to said they dont handle internet sales?!?!?!, what its your company that sales the part!
Just like all of the others on here who never received their orders, I didnt either. Yes, the issued a tracking number the very next day, but it has never shipped. This is NOT how to run a business!! (Would be ZERO starts, but that is not an option!)
Ordered two parts via Amazon minutes apart in two separate orders.. I received one order in the estimated window. I still have not received the second part and get no response from the seller via email or phone.
Went to 903 right down the street they pretty much refused to sale me a mower even though I was qualified for 8 grand. Came to these guys no hassle they jumped on it. And earned a lifetime customer. Come see mike I had an amazing experience!
The best test of any business is when things go wrong. I ordered an articulated mower from this company and had the shipping company from hell (no fault of Engine Masters what so ever.) Engine Masters was extremely prompt in assessing the problem & keeping me informed of every step in the process to solution. Customer service was EXCELLENT! The problem was solved not just for me but for future customers as well. My mower fits my needs perfectly and works better than I ever anticipated. I will continue to purchase parts from this company. When it comes to lawn mowing equipment and supplies, I will only recommend Engine Masters! They know their products. They assess the customer needs and find the right products and parts. They are true professionals. My closest local dealer is 60 miles away but I choose to do business with Engine Masters which is 1,275 miles away. That in itself speaks volumes. I wish we had an Engine Masters store in Temple, TX or in central Texas to perform yearly service on my mower. We need more businesses in this area with their core values. I am a very satisfied customer of Engine Masters and highly recommend this company for all your outdoor power equipment needs.

Visiting another state Husqvarna snt me to order via a local dealer in MI whom could not take order over the phone, so I drove there. They still could not order and sent me to another store. That store could not order so I went home and contacted Husqvarna....who advised me to order an incorrect part via Amazon and Engine Masters. In a way I am thankful because Engine Masters was patient enough to help me find the correct part. Great customer service and although they are in another state I would contact them for assistance.
I have been having my riding lawn mower serviced at Engine Masters in Henderson for the last few years and overall have been happy with the service received. They try to service it in a reasonable time which gets tough during the busy mowing season since everyones mowers seem to break at the same time but theyre understanding and try to work quickly (yet it may take a month to get your mower back realistically). Customer service is friendly and helpful and the only real negative I can state other than the long wait is that sometimes Ill be promised a call back and never receive it so I have to call again. Despite this, I would recommend them.
Great store for all your power equipment needs. Recently purchased a MZT 52 mower and couldnt be more impressed with the mower the service before and after the sale. Kudos to Phillip and all his crew, from Rob and Barry to deliver guys who were right on time and very informative. If you are looking a home town store with home town people this is where you need to go, you wont be disappointed
Phenomenal staff, took my Husqvarna and MTD units for repair and replacement parts purchases and the employees could not have been more welcoming and knowledgeable. I will definitely be recommending Engine Masters to my friends and family!
Great place to do any kind of outdoor business. Been buying all of my equipment from them for years as well as quick, and proper repairs and maintenance. Always great communication whenever any of my stuff is in for repairs as well. If you want quality, this is your stop.
Horrible company, horrible customer service, and horrible follow through! They were quick to take my money, but never shipped my item. They marked the item as shipped; however, the item NEVER left their location. Then after I inquired, I received an email stating they were looking into it. Never heard back!
Made a purchase through amazon which was never received. They claim to have tried emailing and calling but amazon has no record of those contacts. Refund was issued today (7 days after initial expected delivery) for $300 less than what I paid—for shipping of a product I never got.

Terrible customer service. They sold me a Husqvarna weed eater but dont even have adequate stock of the spark plugs for it. What kind of small engine store doesnt stock parts for what it sells??? And that is why Amazon is putting them all to shame. They didnt even offer to get it for me. Time to go back to a Stihl.
In November 2018 I purchased a battery powered Husqvarna chainsaw. It worked exceptionally well and I was very happy with it. After recharging three or four times, the battery would not charge, per the instructions in the manual (yes, I read the manuals) per warranty instructions, I took it to an authorized dealer for repair/replacement. The dealer I contacted was unfamiliar with the battery units by Husqvarna but contacted them and was advised the battery would be back ordered with a delay of 4 or 5 weeks.As I had purchased the saw through Amazon from Engine Masters Outdoor Power Equipment, I contacted them through Amazon and I was pleasantly surprised. They sent a return label and I sent them both the battery and the charger just in case. They kept me apprised of what they were doing by email and finally decided the replace both the battery and the charger. This was done in less than 10 days. I could not be happier. Obviously, Customer Service/Satisfaction is high on the priority list.

Had my Husqvarna zero turn mower seen by Engine Masters because of some driving issues and for a service. I called after 2 weeks because I was told I would get mower back in 7 to 9 business days being priority customer. They said no one has looked at it and that it was scheduled to be looked at the next week. Of course, I called back then (at this time its been a month) and still hasnt been looked at. Said someone would get to it the next day. I finally got a call the next day for them to tell me that both my transmissions were out and that it would cost 1800 dollars to fix it...logically I said no thanks I could buy a new mower for that much. Ask them to just return it and Id pay the delivery fee. I also asked for a printed off quote. We received the mower that same day with a printed quote of $2180...more than what I was told to begin with. Well this isnt the kicker. We noticed that when the mower came back, he drove it off the truck just fine. But didnt think nothing of it. We paid someone to cut our grass all summer thinking our lawn mower was shot. Until I spoke to a friend. There is a disclaimer on the quote that says if mower is disassembled for Diagnostics and you choose not to have it repaired with them, that the mower would come back in parts unless you chose to pay for reassembly. Our mower came back in one piece. So I wondered if they even looked at my mower or decided just to say the highest amount possible thinking I would just pay it. It sat in my garage all summer until just last week when I had to move it to get something out...guess what...the mower ran just fine...so I decided to turn blades on...again worked just fine. I just finish cutting my whole 1/2 acre yard with no problem...I feel that Engine Masters are SCAM ARTISTS! I would have paid that 1800 to 2180 if I didnt know any better. When we bought the mower from them we were told we would get a 300 dollar rebate and of course never received that...said it would be delivered to the store... and 2 years later still waiting on it....big surprise!!!
I ordered a package through this company on Amazon and it hasnt been delivered nearly a month later. They have not communicated anything.
This is not a review for the product, but for the poor shipping timeline. The seller stated that the product would arrive no later than May 22nd after I placed my order on May 12th. It is Jun 2nd and the product has still not arrived. Based on the tracking information, Engine Masters did not ship it until May 31st. Poor service.
Ordered parts 2 weeks ago that were supposedly shipped on April 17th, no record of them leaving the Wake Forest USPS.... No way to contact for a refund.
Ordered and paid for three die grinders and only received one. Repeatedly tried reach out to them to resolve this issue with no success.

My experience with Engine Masters was excellent. I had an old mower that someone else had tried to repair for me and they caused more problems making the mower almost useless. The guys at Engine Masters were able to diagnose a very complicated problem caused by the first repairman (if you could call him that) and return my mower to me cutting like a new machine.I would like to thank Bernie, Robert, Lonnie and all the guys who did the actual repair work. And if you have mower problems, trust me and save yourself a headache. Call these guys first!

60 Zero Turn, I like my mower but Customer Service and Getting parts or something fixed under Warranty just about impossible. They are telling me a $42.00 charge to diagnose the problem and the mower is still under warranty, I have never heard of a charge like that. I also wanted a hitch for my mower they kept telling me it was on back order called several times over a year finally go in the store they say its still on back order, then another salesman comes in goes in the back comes out with the hitch.
Dont wast your time or money with these punks.
Poor Quality and Poor Customer Service. They sold me a brand new mower that came with 22 used hours on it and said the switch was left on. They will manipulate and do anything to get your business however once they get it they have the poorest customer service. Very dishonorable business in every aspect!!
Worst company - they take your money quickly and the leave you hanging for weeks, Poor communication - not sure if will ever received order. Waiting three weeks so far. AVOID!!!

This is a terrible company. Customer service is only lip service. They never follow through when they promise a response to a order problem. Took my money, have not received my order after 5 weeks.

Its been a over a year since I took my chainsaw up there to be fixed an I still havent got it back... they say they will call me soon an it will be fixed but thats all lies... no one ever calls me.... an if I go up there and ask whats going on they say there still working on it... but I have given up on them.. the saw has a four year warranty.. I got it from them.... but they dont live up to there warranties... also if u take somthing to them to be fixed they take it to another mechanic... so your paying two times for the same service.... I recommend useing another saw shop if you want quality service and if you want your equipment fixed right... I spent $6,000.00 and I get treated like this... so imagine if you only spend a couple hundred with them.. how will you be treated........🤔,.......... 8 months or so later 06/27/17, I ended up stopping by to finally get my saw because obviously no one has called and its not gonna be fixed.. therefore the four year warranty was a big rip off just to get more money out of me, but the kicker is my saw wasnt up there and they couldnt tell me right that moment where it was, so I made them give me the manufacturers number, and they claim theyll have the saw back up there tomorrow, but i guess its like the old saying goes... want somthing done ... you got to do it yourself, so my ADVICE TO ALL IS DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND HARD EARNED MONEY, JUST TO BE TREATED LIKE YOU DONT EXISTS

I called before I left my home 50 minutes away to make sure they worked on my Trail Wagon ATV. I was told that they did. When I arrived I was told they no longer worked on them. The worst part about it Was that when I confronted them about my calling ahead I was treated like I was in the wrong and did all but call me a liar by the owner and manager. Not even an apology. Pathetic!!!
Poor customer service. Charged me return shipping on a return that was their error. Called them and they were rude and arrogant. Not a way to keep repeat customers.
