This must be one of the flagship stores. This place was immaculate and seemed to have too many people to help the number of customers inside. Nothing wrong with that except the redundancy of saying Im fine and will ask if any questions arise. The customer service is always top notch and it reflects good leadership and management.

Employees very helpful . As soon as you walk in you are greeted. Then they let you look around. And right there when you do need help. Which is nice, it is rare. So I bought 3 pairs of shoes

Its not a very large store so stock is limited due to lack of space. Even so, this location carries everything I expect to see in any Big 5 Sporting Goods which ranges from athletic shoes and apparel to camping and fishing gear, and a limited selection of archery, shooters, etc for hunting or target practice.The staff here have been helpful with their experience and knowledge with my purchases so far. They also dont mind taking the time to check with other Big 5 stores if this one doesnt have the item I want. Their customer service skills are up to par with the best.Prices here are higher than the warehouse-type discount storesbut decades of camping and fishing experience has told me that quality and safety are more important than trying to save a few dollars. It pays off in the long run to spend more in order to get something that is safe and will last longer than something cheaper.

The store was very clean, tidy and organized. A team member even asked if we found what we were looking for while we were shopping around and I appreciated that. Im glad we found the tennis tape we needed and also came up on some dressing shoes that happened to be on sale. All in all a good experience. 👍

Even though they didnt have what I needed they tried to help me find alternatives and directed me to another location that had what I needed. The employees were respectful and funny.

Not the biggest Big 5 but it certainly lives up to the name with the big personalities and great customer service of the staff. I found everything I needed here with the help of Rudy, a sales associate (he may have been the manager) You know when you walk into a place and they ask you if you need something every five seconds with a disingenuous smile plastered on their face? This was NOT that guy. He greets customers upon arrival and seems to have an instinct about when you need help. He really was a breath of fresh air. With so many stores employing lazy employees, I was impressed by ALL the staff and how well their dynamic seemed to work...and made me wanna stick around and buy more stuff (off the sale rack, of course) but honestly, I had to take a minute to write down all their names to acknowledge them for their exemplary customary service skills, infectious smiles and knowledge. RudyTia, Jackie (the one who sings a lot) and Esther. You guys rock. Love my boots! Thanks!!!

All I can say is Im very pleased with the service I received at this big 5 location in particular. Their staff is super friendly and helpful, I like to ask a lot of questions and not once did they seem to be frustrated with me! The store, as I understand is under new management and it shows! Everything looks neat and organized now; I had no problem finding what I was looking for. Their new store manager is polite, helpful and an overall hard worker it looks like. He had no problem personally helping me or answering any of my questions, he takes the time to explain everything thoroughly. If youre in the area and need any sporting goods, clothing, shoes or even just to browse this is the place to go!

Unfortunately they didnt have what I wanted and suggested another one of theyre stores might have it, then they called the other stores untill they found it they put it on hold for me gave me the address and phone number plus directions how to get there. They did all of this for me with a smile. I LOVE THIS STORE.

What can I say? It’s Big 5! Plenty of cool stuff in here, especially those who love the outdoors. Haven’t had any bad experiences with the staff, but also nothing to rave about.

Im not a huge fan of Big 5s but this one is clean and well organized. Just like many other stores are, they are also out of workout equipment since everyone seems to be working out at home.

I went last week to do some shopping there and I was able to find what I need, honestly there employers are Friendlys and they help you right away with any questions tooOne thing one I find there, just the parking lot is always busy there l, so you have to be careful where you park your car, well thats my point of view

Just okay... Second rate leftovers at prices that arent great. You may find a good deal once in awhile, but thats rare. My time is valuable. Id rather spend a few more dollars on EXACTLY what I want at Dicks or online.

Great customer service many deals and Wednesday specials

My fiance and I have shopped at this location for years. Literally have spent hundreds of dollars buying equipment including but not limited to punching bag/stand/camping equipment and decided we would shop rifles/shotguns for small game hunting and to protect out home to an extent. The emoloyees that have helped is have always been so polite at this location but I guess we came in looking drab and not like we had money this particular time (last weekend), so the man who helped is at the gun counter was extremely rude to us. He also expected us to know everything about guns and talked down to us like we were scum. Almost to the point of me filing a formal complaint. I have never been this disrespected in the 20 years I have been in this town as I was by this man at this location. We later went to Dicks and bought a $400 Ruger rifle and their sales rep was completely polite and helpful. Seems to me Dicks has more attentive employees that know every customer is to be treated with respect. Especially a customer like me that has lived in this town for decades and knows many many folks in this town. I will never shop at any location of Big 5 again just because of this one particular man at this location. I wish i could go back in time and give all my money to a better company that hosts intelligent as well as polite employees. Your company is only as good as your worst employee.

The young manager lady I apologize I forget her name was very very helpful with addressing all of my questions for my new shotgun IE Mossberg 500 tactical. I had quite a few questions that she answered promptly and it was close two closing time but she did not try to rush me in any manner which I really appreciated.

Was surprisingly nice. Way bigger on the inside then how it looks on the outside. Will be going back for sure to check out there camping supplies.

This is the working mans/womans sporting goods store. Been coming for decades for quality boots, bracing of all types for repetitive motion injury protection, weights for jib camera setups, archery stuff, hiking, wet suits and more. I am an occupational athlete, (as well as an amateur jock) with tons of physical needs and Big5 keeps me going. The prices are right. Nobody beats their selection of tennis elbow braces that actually work, as well as knee braces or crawling in small spaces knee and elbow pads. They got heavy lifting belts for day-to-day assaults on our bodies, energy gels for that weekend running competition, endless brand-name shoes, cool clothing for any weather and lots of sale prices.The only thing I wish they had: flashy colorful high tops. The other guys have that, but the other guys prices are ridiculous and its mostly fluff - whereas Big5 sells us gear that works, lasts and does not cost an arm and a leg.

Went in for a specific pair of shoes that I noticed was on sale 5 days previous. When I checked the price, I found the sale had ended a few days before. They honored the sale price anyways. Good customer service every time I have gone. Great job and thank you!

Its okay. Not sure if I dont like Big 5 in general, or Big 5 specifically. I feel like the prices should be lower, but they offer name brand stuff. Im sure Nike and Underarmour dont really allow undercutting.

Great inventory

Horrible customer service. Went to buy sneakers and couldnt find anyone to help me. One tall guy walked by me and chose to look the other way. Finally got someone to find the sneakers I wanted only to open the box and see they were the wrong ones. Their were 4 sales associates huddled in the front of the store socializing instead of working. Their may have been only 5 or 6 customers in the store so it wasnt like they were busy.

I went in to buy a golf glove, I go to the rack and there was a limited selection to choose from, so I picked a glove that was on sale for $6.99, when I went to the cashier she rang it up and thr total was $14.06. So I told her I thought it was on sale and I offered to go back and check myself. On my way back there she called customer service to golf, there I was met by an unhelpful Male employee who witnessed that the gloves were on a hook that said on sale, $6.99. He told me that the gloves were on the wrong hook therefore they werent on sale. I then removed all the gloves off the hook looking for the gloves that were on sale. There were no gloves on sale that were even on that hook. No one offered to honor the price of the sale gloves even though I stated my case to several employees there they should honor the sale price since it was there lack of inventory maintenance that led me to believe the gloves were on sale in the first place if they would have honored the price posted I would have given them a 4 star rating. Limited selection, poor management
