Glenn and C.J. were amazing! I was in and out in no time. They took the time to teach me some things about my vehicle and we’re completely professional. I’ve definitely found my go to place for all my maintenance and repair needs.

Because they do stuff to your car that you dont ask for and then charge you a crazy price on stuff that you didnt want, all I wanted was a oil change and they took it apond theirselves to do other stuff I didnt ask for, just because they thought it needed, didnt mean that they just do it without asking me first!!!!!!!!! But Trust me I will not be going back there

I went in and had my alternator repaired and they broke the visor on the front of my hood and said they were not responsible for replacing it and I think that just wasnt right. I had a couple bad experience with them so I wont be using them anymore.

Well from my first time ever being there i did look at all the reviews before I took my vehicle, but despite the negative stuff i hear about them i decided to go for myself.. To my knowledge they did a good job on my vehicle, just wish they communicated more with other employees .. A lady called me at 10:30 am and told me my tires were in, I replied ok ill be on my way, before I can get out the door a man calls back to say they cant get to my vehicle till about 3 or 4 pm.. I had high hopes to have g or my vehicle in and out early was very disappointed... But overall they did A1 on my tires I would visit them again ..

Despite the fact that the woman who initially waited on us was really rude, abrasive, and dismissive, we received great service. Our car was inspected quickly and there wasnt a wait. The gentlman who checked us out when the car was done was very friendly and personable. His demeanor made up for her lack of hospitality.

Took my mother’s van for a flat tire they did a good job, so I took my father’s truck by when it needed an oil change they got me in and out fast. So when my tire went flat took it by I knew I just needed front tires and that I had some rim damage from a previous issue but I didn’t say anything. I only told them I wasn’t sure but I would like them to check all tires. They were very honest told me I only needed two front tires and even notified me that there was some rim damage that I need to be aware of even though it wouldn’t effect the setting of the seal. I am now taking all my families vehicles here including my business vehicles. Very impressed!

I ended up not being service because my vehicle was totaled. I was stranded 2 hours from home and the whole staff was wonderful. Cheryl helped me figure out my options and used her personal connections to make sure I got home safe. The mechanics where incredibly nice and relatable, I do most of my own auto work and they talked to me as an equal.

My daughter was on a road trip from Atlanta to Richmond and her car broke down late Friday evening on the side of I-85. We had it towed early the next morning to Pete Smith’s and they had it fixed for her before closing time on Saturday! I can’t say enough wonderful things about the kind, thoughtful and caring service we received. Highly recommend is not even enough of a recommendation for Pete Smith’s!! They’re the absolute best!! A+++I am one grateful and thankful Momma! My baby girl is able to head back to Atlanta on time and safely!!Thanks to the entire team, and especially to Cheryl, for all her help over the phone to get the job completed!!

I was in this business the other day waiting on my car to be fixed and heard this lady that works there name Cheryl be so hateful and rude to a parts delivery person when they came in, the parts person was trying to ignore her tone and attitude. They were nice to her, I commend that person for being nice and professional, there was no excuse for what I heard, I will not go back as long as she is working there and I will tell everyone I know, Cheryl does not need to be working with the public at all.

I went there to get a water pump installed. They was going to charge $950, and the pump is located on top of the motor beside the alternator. The dealership charged $325 less. I thought that was weird.

I went for an inspection for my car. The people are friendly and fast.

Unlike some places who fix cars,Pete Smith Lube and Tire Always gives you your moneys worth and then some.The people are patient and actually listen to their customers.I will be getting all my vehicle inspections and car repairs done at Pete Smiths from here on out.

I took my vehicle in for making a weird noise. They charged me over 750 to fix my car, said it was tire rods. Vehicle making the same noise. then told me the struts need replacing after making the initial diagnosis. Obviously, it was the struts because it is the same noise as before. highly disappointed. I was confused, just wanted the vehicle fixed. Car making the same noise as it was before I took it earlier this week. The first time I used them, I was impressed. Not this time! Just say the mechanic made a mistake or misdiagnosed the vehicle the first time. They kindly offered to fix the struts, didnt want to take a chance with the organization anymore.

I had my car towed there for a broken brake line. They said there was too much rust. The real problem was that there was some surface rust because we went under the car when it came back. The reality was they were afraid that they would disturb other parts that might break. Im not upset, just disappointed that they werent truthful. Remember that being honest will bring in customers. I wont ever go back. You lost my trust in you!!

I went in, after lunch, to get my car inspected on the last I could renew my tag without paying a fine. They worked me in, inspected the car AND went on line and renewed my license plate so I didnt need to stand in line at the DMV office. This was service above and beyond the call of duty and all done with a smile in the spirit of helpfulness. I give my highest recommendation.

If I could give them 10 stars, I would. They were wonderful! We were on the road from Williamsburg, VA to Asheville, NC when I saw the engine temp was running hot, but the radiator was full. We pulled over to find a local repair shop. Pete Smiths was the third place we called. No one else would help because they were closing soon on a Saturday afternoon. Petes took us and thank God because my radiator had cracked. They replaced it while we went to eat lunch. I cant say enough good things about their kindness, speed, and just general willingness to help my family. Thank you so much!

They charge you an arm and a leg. The woman behind the counter licks her fingers when trying to separate papers and and you your receipt. Nasty I tell you. However the work is decent.... sometimes
