Me and my boyfriend like to come here all the time. Its an awesome place to go for anything you need as far as painting, pinstriping, drawing, clay, pen art, they even have a framing area oh, and also a back little room where they teach classes. Today we bought some pinstriping brushes, One Shot paint for pinstriping and some brush cleaner for my other brushes!!! You should definitely check them out if you like that mom and pop kinda feel in a shop. They have two locations. This one off of Green Valley Parkway and the one off of Charleston.

An art store run by artists 👨🏽‍🎨they know their products. No matter what your “art” is or what supply you need, they have it.I am a lover of colored pens so they have a 1000 choices. My husband needed a speacial glue for a model and they had it.I could spend hours roaming the isles looking for projects to start.

An Artists heaven. This store has everything you need for any technique or medium you can name. The prices are fair, and the employees are so helpful and nice. They go out of their way to help. I found that they had a wide range of programs that teach drawing and painting, in face there is a whole section of the store that could have been used for products that has instead been put aside just for the customers. I am very impressed. I shop here almost exclusively for my art and business needs. Keep up the good work, Desert Art Supplies!

Love to shop local and I’m willing to pay a little(!) bit more than at a big box chain store. Well supplied, friendly and very knowledgeable salesperson. Early closing is my only gripe. Easy in and out without a crowd.

I have been coming to this store off and on for several years, and this last visit landed me a windfall. While speaking with the friendly, helpful clerk regarding a small display of cabochons and other types of pendants, he mentioned that two members of the rock club were behind the counter to my right and before he completely finished his sentence, I said Sign me up! I left the store with a new membership, a choice of several different items I wanted, and a discount. Made my day!

This location is a great alternative to their main spot on Charleston. It is a touch small but you can still move around and find just about anything they need. The staff is both helpful and knowledgeable. Definitely the best spot for art supplies in Henderson.

I am a creative person so I love art stores and I strive to support local businesses... I had been in there a year ago and thought it was a little overpriced. I decided to come in again today because I have a special project that I am working on. I was sooooo disappointed with my experience. I walked in and WAS NOT EVEN greeted. The lady in the front just said Yeah uh you need to have a mask as opposed to a face shield in here. I didnt see any signs posted that you cant use a face shield...also I wasnt offered any help or offered a mask or asked to come back. It almost seemed like they didnt want my business. I am not planning on ever going back in.

Cool little art supply shop with a lot packed into a small space. Can be tricky navigating around but the staff is helpful and polite and rather astute on what you might be looking for as I was directed towards some pigments that I most definitely was interested in yet hadnt said a word that I was looking for it so that was a neat mind reading trick. Its somewhere Ill be going back to again. Plus its good to see shops like this which are small private owned businesses.

Been going there for 5yrs. Have always had good customer service. Just spent $400 to get a piece of art done. It didn’t come out how it was supposed to. Information and communication that it would come out faded was NEVER communicated. They graciously offered to redo it at full cost! Wow, so much for costumer service or pleasing your customers. Will NEVER GO BACK and make sure I tell people not to go to the HENDERSON location! So disappointed.

This is your stop in Vegas for art needs that Michaels and other craft stores cannot provide. I specifically cast resin statues, and they have a very comprehensive collection of Smooth-On resins and silicone in both small and large quantities, along with additives, plaster, airbrushes, compressors, paint, and much more.The staff is also incredibly knowledgeable and more than willing to talk shop to help you achieve your goals. If you have a project youre trying to finish but not certain how to go about it, this is the place to go to get guidance.5/5 will shop here again.

I really like this store! They answered every question I had without hesitation and helped me pick out a couple things I really needed... They even gave me a free tube of oil paint to try out! And they also had an art class going on in the back! 10/10 for sure!

Wife loved her first visit here; Im a fan because of their calligraphy supplies. Head here instead of Micheals for painting and pottery supplies-- most other arts and crafts to be found at Micheals for slightly better pricing. That being said Im a huge fan of the range of sculpting supplies: wood, metal, clay, and even foam. Family-owned business with over 60 years of history in the valley!

Had a photo of my wife and her recently deceased father. I took it in and needed it blown up to 8 x 10 and nicely framed. Was leaving the country for the funeral and needed it done that day. Dell dropped everything to make sure he got it done for me. Turned out fantastic and I could not have been more satisfied. This is an EXCELLENT small business and Im glad they are located so close to my home.

This was the most disappointing experience Ive had in a long time with a retail business.Its no wonder these small businesses are going out of business. These people were unwilling to take my call seriously. They were unwilling to help me and offered no advice as to who could help me. The owner was there but I was told he was too busy to talk to me. I have about a hundred and fifty pictures framed that I took down to paint the interior of my house. I need someone to help me clean up the pictures, repair the ones that need it and replace glass where needed. I also need help rehanging the pictures. Seems like it would be right up their alley. Most business people would welcome the business, suggest what they can do thus starting a relationship with a new customer.They might say theyre not interested in a customer like me. Trouble before we even get started. Well I was in retail all my life. This sounds like a case of the owner being bored, or lazy uninterested and unwilling to do his job.Imagine I go to a tropical fish store. I want to purchase an aquarium, stand, supplies and fish. I ask if someone could deliver and install the aquarium. They say, sorry, we dont do that.

Best place for art enthusiasts and more. Very technical in airbrush cleaning and repair. Staff is amazing.

Quaint, great staff, they have everything any artist would need. Liquitex,Grumbacher, Frederik brands to name a few. Sign writing supplies, one shot sign colors. Hand made paper, canvas, stretcher bars, brushes, pens, charcoal,paints( oil, acrylic, watercolors.) The best art supplies in town.

I love this place. I have been shopping here for quite some time. If you are a hobbyist this is a store for you. They have recently improved their website which makes browsing their wares much easier but I usually call if Im looking for someting specific to see if it is in stock. The staff are quite pleasent and very helpful. It always surprises me how they can carry so many items in the space allotted and still have enough room for customers to shop. I have not used or inquired about them but I know they offer classes on various subjects.

The Owner Del is one of the nicest guys Ive ever met. Hes super knowledgeable. Theres even a cash discount. Highly recommend this place!

I went with my whole family to get some watercolor paper. When I went inside it was really unorganized and I had trouble finding were the paper was located. And they didn’t even had paper I was looking for. Walmart even carries it The person there was looking over everything we did. She even accused my brother of damaging a brush he didn’t even touch. Never going back again.

I really wanted to take this time of my day to write a great review about Desert Art supplies. Ive been buying supplies from this store for about 6 years now and Ive also taken a few painting classes as well from one of their awesome teachers Gabbie. This class has not only helped me fine-tune my painting skills but answered just about every question I had. I now fuly understand so many different aspects of art and I owe so much of the credit to this incredible team of people. The amount of patience these people have for a person like me, helps stimulate my creative flow. Everyone there is so knowledgeable and Sharon, CJ, and Debbie have helped me out immensely. In addition the owner Del always finds new ways to spark my imagination and gives me ideas using new materials that Ive never even heard of. Its just over all good vibes in there. Its a family owned business that you can tell cares and is always curious what my next project will look like. Really liked the store, they have a good selection, but I was a bit surprised that they didnt have Winsor & Newton watercolor paints and their Designer Goauche, I dont know if they were there but I didnt see them, but if you really like Daniel Smith watercolors, they have a great and huge selection. I ordered a printing job ...2 months later I got my product at a much higher price than I was quoted. The printing was unconsisrant and the sales associate was not willing to listen to my concerns. I was very diappointed!
