I bought a sofa that was too big to go through the basement door. The The basement was its intended home. Thedelivery driver put it immediately back on the truck to return to the store. The store refused to return my money without a restocking fee. After getting the BBB involved and waiting several months, I finally settled for $700 worth of rugs that I didnt need just to use the store credit. I will NEVER shop there ever again.

I purchased a mattress one evening and the very next day called to return because I found a better deal at Macys. I spoke with Brendon who authorized everything. After returning the mattress he says that its up to the corporate office in Georgia to issue refund! Now how does that work when you have your merchandise back and its never been opened?! I filed a dispute with credit card company and will be contacting the BBB. This place is a joke! The customer service number no one answers and his response was, they dont answer for is either, they have like 6 employees. My question is, why is the office states away and even you cant get ahold of them?!

My experience with Home Decor was great! This was my first time shopping with them. I was in the market for a new mattress and all the other stores that sold mattresses we expensive. So, I decided to check out Home Decor online and found a mattress I wanted. I went inside the store to make my purchase and I was not waiting long before a salesman came over. I told him what I wanted and he wrote the paperwork up. I loved that I was able to take it home same day by putting the mattress on top of my car. The salesman who sold me the mattress came outside and helped tie down the mattress to my car so that I could transport it back home. Ill probably use them again in the future for some home decor pieces.
I got in and was welcomed and left welcomed. They did everything in a timely matter and got straight to the point. I will be coming back for more later on this year. Thank you for yall hard work!!
Got exactly what I wanted without the hassle and at half the price i wanted to spend, cant beat,that. Awesome customer service from the whole staff. Bought 2 full size beds with frames and they were able to fit them in and on my car. The gentleman loading the mattress took extra time to make sure everything was secured in place. I most definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great deal in the area without the headache. Keep up the great work. I will continue to support this business and send people your way.

Great selection of items and easy to navigate store. Staff is friendly, helpful and fun. Wish they had a delivery service but no big deal. Staff helped load up my truck and wrappeed the furniture with bubble wrap and plastic to keep the rain off. Check this place out. Worth the drive from Louisville.
7/16/2021-Regina GThe only reason I’m giving one star is because I have to give a star in order to write a review. I ordered a living room set from home decor at the end of March, which I paid a deposit of $800 but The furniture wasn’t in stock. Before I decided to order I asked the sales rep how long would it be before i would be able to get the furniture delivered he said no later then the 2nd week of April, after the 2nd week of April still no furniture.I started calling to check the status and they kept saying that the manufacturer is having issues. I have already threw away my furniture so I’m in my new apartment with no furniture. By the end of May, May 22, 2021 to be exact I put in a request for a corporate refund for my $800 deposit, it’s now 7/16/2021 and I still have not received my refund, there policy is that I will get a refund within 30 days. I’ve been calling home decor and they’ve been hanging up on me being rude cause I’m upset about my money, I’ve called Corp and getting no answer, I’ve left several messages and no one is responding, at this point I will end up having to get a lawyer cause I don’t think I am going to get my refund. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, please shop elsewhere cause these people are a scam

Have more items in stock. I had to change my whole bedroom, dinning, and living just because the inventory wasnt in. The prices wasnt locked in. My layaway went from a balance of 700 up to 1,000. Then I needed delivery and set up. Delivery was &80 and I was told set up was $50. But the delivery company said its $50 a item to set up. I called the store to speak with the store manager(which was the one who did my transaction) was told he wasnt there. But everyone else was able to get in contact with him. His name is Brent or Brandon. He did not tell me it was $50 for each individual item. So it was poor customer service all around. I called to get a refund but they could only offer store credit. So as a customer spending 1600 on my items I am not and was not happy. Home decor needs to do better all across the board. I will not be returning and will not recommend anyone to them.
My husband and I were quoted a price for a mattress in store, but when I came to purchase it, it was $60 higher.We were told that the employee that quoted us the price was NEW and they wouldnt Honor that price.We came back after shopping around because of the great price.We purchased it any way, but NOT THE $60 matress cover.🤔

The Salesman and the customer service to get the sale was excellent. 4 months ago I purchased a 7 piece bedroom set and Queen mattress set. Since August I’ve called once every other week to check the status. First I was told Corona virus was the delay. The second time spoke with Louis he told me I need to pick up the pieces as they come in. The third time talked to Brandon he show the sets do to come in has to do inventory to see what exactly they received will give a call back. When I picked up my mattress set on the 28th of October I was informed at that time the merchandise would be coming in the first week of November. Called on the 4th spoke with Brandon again inquired on status informed him I spoke with a Marty I believe at the South County location they had the chest and nightstand at their store he authorize they could send it over to complete my order and replied it’s given out in based on who paid first and he had not checked the report yet. So I asked my $1300 be refunded he replied NO. I advise if they do not have it in the store go somewhere else. Do not pay first and think you’re going to get your merchandise guess what wrong. After this experience saving a few dollars is not worth the time or stress for several months to get what you purchased is not worth it. All I’m asking for is a refund and they won’t even do that. You can’t even call Corporate without getting a voicemail saying text them. What business does that?

They never call and say anything and when u call they lie and say 2-3 weeks.Good customer service when u purchasing but not so good when u have to wait on purchase then they say anything to shy u away. For instance I called today and the gentleman said he would give me a call back let him check on it, and I havent received a call yet.. no more purchases from there for me. Ots terrible
I ordered a dresser in store from the 270 & Hanley location. On the date I purchased it in store I was told the delivery date would be September 8. I was told I would be emailed a tracking number once the dresser left the warehouse. The salesman said the dresser would be delivered to my door, fully assembled and if anything I would only have to put the feet on the dresser. September 8 came and went and I heard nothing. So I called and no one at the store I purchased from knew what was going on. I decided to email back the person who sent my original confirmation email and they responded and said the dresser wouldn’t be delivered now until September 18. September 18 came and went and again I heard nothing. I called the store again and they said they were going to contact the ware house and call me back. Two days went by and I called them again and got the same response. Then they stopped answering my calls. I emailed what I’m guessing is the corporate office and they said the delivery had been pushed again. My dresser finally delivered October 3. I never got an update along the way unless I called and emailed multiple times. The dresser did not get delivered to my door and it was not assembled like I was told it would be. I will never purchased from Home Decor again not only are they extremely unprofessional they are liars and no one you speak to knows what is going on.
My experience with Home Decor Outlet has been horrible. (Hazelwood location) The staff is unprofessional, they never call to give you updates about your orders, and they don’t accommodate the inconvenience they have caused you. I will never shop with them again.

I have waited over a month for a 3 piece living Room set the recliner never came in Brent the store manager was professional the manager above him offers no assistance no compassion for the customer and you would think in a pandemic that all business is needed this company leaves the impression that we dont care whether you shop with us or not! Delivery is a disaster doesnt matter the amount of money you spend they are unwilling to provide any courtesy will not do any business with this company ever anymore considering please be aware

Not sure about this place asked us to put money down on furniture they wouldnt have until the 27th but the money down was just to give us a call to say the furniture we want is there not to hold the furniture for us.
Asked in advance when I could pick up my furniture once it was paid off. I was told It would need a one week notice. Furniture has been paid off for a while now and I first was told the dresser/mirror were not in. Then it changed to the headboard is not in. They never returned my call inquiry about furniture. I have had to go to the store 3 times just to get a runaround. I let them know that I had had a truck on two occasions and that this is becoming inconvenient and costly. there were customers in the store the last time that I was there and management stated that he would see about getting my furniture delivered but I would need to come back at a later date for my headboard. I later found out that he made that statement only because there were customers in the store. The next day he tried to make me pay $95 for another delivery.Manager at the Pershall Road store in Hazelwood refused to give me any information on upper management. This is ridiculous and needs to be resolved

I purchased a bedroom set and waited weeks for shipping due to covid. I asked for delivery and setup prior to purchasing. The delivery was setup for a Sat delivery between 11am and 2pm. Delivery showed up at 7:30pm. and then says he doesnt setup. I would need to call the store. Called next day to talk to rude smart mouth un professional manager who stated no setup its extra charge which is not what I was told prior to paying in full. It was like bait and switch. Ive been hung up on several times when trying to reach a resolution. Once the bed was put together saw their were no storage drawers. Later told the drawers were extra. Never was told that either as it was clearly stated that I wanted the same set as on display which clearly had side storage drawers. Drawers dont fit in dresser, nightstand damaged, sideboards has a scratch and no brackets for mirror after spending $2,000.00 cash money. The manager needs training in customer service and how to manage. I will pay competitors slighter higher prices going forward as they have lost a loyal customer. A huge disappointment in hiw customers are treated! Still dealing with fiasco whenever my call is taken.

I purchased my chair at the beginning of March and just received the call that the chair was available at the end of May. Every time I would call to get a date on when the chair would arrive I received the run around on my item stating that the dates had been changed from the warehouse. I then asked for a full refund and they stated that it would take up to 30 days to receive a refund on the chair. I asked for the number to corporate and I was given a number that had no options for me to speak to anyone. I will NEVER purchase from Home Decor Outlets again.
I have always shopped at this location in the past but I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future. I purchased a dinette table and a rug almost 4 months ago . I just received my rug today 1 month ago I was told that the rug was at the Illinois location and it would be at the Pershall location in 3 business days it was not. After calling numerous week after week I was told 3 more days only for it to still not be there this happen 3 consecutive weeks. Then finally I was told my rug was there drove 40 minutes from my job to get there and an associate said that the rug was still at the Illinois location the staff was definitely not on the same page and didn’t even seem to care that I was told the rug was there and it obviously wasn’t. Just picked it up today still waiting on my dinette table 4 months later I wished someone would of told me that it would take this long I would of took my business elsewhere. Lastly the staff is unorganized and not on the same page and showed no empathy for my time or for inconveniencing me time after time.

Everything was smooth sailing in terminating my layaways and using my store credit to purchase some things. I only wish they had more accessories thank rugs and tables.
My experience was that the guy who sold me the matttess and made delivery was very polite and eager to do business with me sho3 and everything and letting me know about new furniture comong and the store was clean and well stocked. Needed a bedroom set went in and waited so long before i was even aknowleged . The staff was handling a lady that had paid in full for her furniture and had been waiting months for it the staff seemed unapologetic and didnt even seem to care. Another associate was on the phone with someone promising that someone else would get their furniture soon i just walked out seems like to me that someone is not doing their job and they have angry customers seems like they dropped the ball they lost 2 customers in the process

Rudy was nice and helpful. Made sure we received everything we needed although items had to come from different stores. I didnt give 5 stars because he quoted me different prices two days earlier. The amount was small and not a deal breaker but never the less disappointing.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! The text system that they used deducted money from my account and did not accept it as payment towards my piece of furniture. I called the office and there was an agent in the background that was speaking highly unprofessional and they ended up disconnecting the call on me. Will be going up there this week!

New home, needed furniture for every room. Started with the kitchen, purchased a nice looking table for $499 with the damage insurance which cost an extra $100 but it arrived with hairline cracks and a small chunk missing on the one side of the marble table top and on the other side you can see more hairline cracks with streaks of clear dried glue as if it was damaged and someone glued it back to sell. Went to store and was told to email pics and call once compete. Called was told claim was submitted and it could take 4-6 weeks to hear back. After 6 weeks called again and was told it was being processed. That was in August. Its now November and I still have a damaged table top. What was the point of the insurance. This place is a scam. Took my busine$$ to Weekends Only where they furnished the rest of my home.Update: Company eventually.... eventually replaced the table. They actually told me to keep the damaged table and we received another which was not damaged.

The set that i received was put together wrong and already had tears in fabric. The store manager tried telling me that it wasnt their fault and had a million excuses. Nothing has been resolved even though we paid for warranty and also we pointed out damages before the delivery guys left our house....STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

When I went to the store, at one time I was the only customer and the person helping me kept taking phone calls them was going back n forth with the delivery guys (arguing). So I went ahead and spent $1500 on furniture anyway. My items were suppose to be delivered at noon, but they didnt arrive till 6:15pm. Wont be back and definitely wont get No more of my money. The customer service SUCKS!!
