A very large store the staff manage to keep commendably clean despite its size and large selection. My only upset is the pricing.. it seems each time I walk in, there are fewer and fewer items that are actually, only 99 cents! Identical items that once were 99 cents, like the french toast sticks (which remain just a dollar at Dollar Tree) are somehow now $1.99. Why? Perhaps a rebranding is in order. The ONLY in 99 Cents now just feels like false advertising.

Always great place. Some items such as vegetables price are rised up.

My family and I use to come here all the time to buy $25 - $50 worth of stuff because it was only 99 cents. We even bought tons of stuff and we sent it to her family across seas. Now we stop coming here because most of the merchandise here cost $2.99 $3.99 $4.99 $5.99 $9.99 Its like going into a regular retail store. I only come here now just to buy something to drink.

I really like this store! Always neatly stocked and they carry a lot of things at very affordable prices! Only thing is there’s long lines always and only 3 cash registers open.

Pretty big but the prices are from 99 cents up. There are many useful things and appliances. You can spend some time watching everything. I dont know about the quality yet because its the first time I buy there.

At one time everything in the 99 Cent Store only was 99 cent but now 85% of the merchandise is above 99 cent $3 for dollars $5 you have to watch out for the value of they say in the value of money in real estate meaning pay this amount one other thing everything at the 99 cent store my opinion is either the packaging is messed up or its a new item a good testing ground you may go there and see something you like then its gone thats because a big chain has picked it up always have a set amount when you walk into the 99 cent only store they should change their name its not the 99-Cent only anymore

I look around here first for the you know low prices I really dont like shopping places where unfortunately its hard to find American made products anymore other than that it was made in America Id be so happy but because its in made in China I would give it a one Im changing it peace God bless in the New Years

Always GREAT prices and I LOVE the convenience of the all in one store. Mostly- I buy a lot more than I expect with those GREAT prices. Only thing I dont like is waiting in line to pay for items. W iui she you guys had more registers open, due to all the people shopping. But all in all, its NICE!!

Lots of items, variety of products and lot of parking space. The only inconvinience I would point out, would be the cashiers. Sometimes they only have like 2 open and the lines could get very long.

I came there looking for a specific item and it wasnt there; another hit or miss. Folks, if you see it, get it right away. I like that the isles are bigger; store is clean.👍🏻

It is open pretty early and there are some quality items that are useful for life such as trash bags and cleaning supplies.

Too much to choose from. Highly recommended for little to big do yourself projects or everyday life needs.

It has a lot of things inside I was surprised, and the people who come are nice as well. I really liked the service at the register the guy was super sweet we new more people like that. I was very satisfied☺

I like their prices, although everything is not 99 cents. Fairly good selection of produce too. The downside when I was there was that there was only 3 casiers and the lines stretched almost to the end of the aisles.

Since Covid everytime I have gone in long lines only two or three cashiers, lines to the back of the store. So be prepared to wait in long lines.You would hope they had more register open to accommodate the consumer. Very hard social distancing in a line with with so many people waiting to check out.

Store was okay but the bathroom wasnt. Its a unisex bathroom, as I was using the facilities a guy walks in used the urinal next to me, washed his hands and left. The stall door locks but the main door doesnt. This is highly unacceptable!!!

They are not respecting the measures against the covid. They have 8 cashiers and only two are available. with very big lines to pay.

There was only 2 checkers working with both lines all the way to the back.

A good place to stretch a dollar when your low on cash. I got salami, cheese, juice, bread, fruit and dog food all for less than $10.

They had everything I was looking for. And the check out was super quick

Do to COVID19 they curtail their items, especially hygiene items, nutriental, cultural foods (instant pkg.), electronic dept has taken a beating. The long lines or inside not outside.Depending on which dollar store you go to some prices exceeds $1.50 to $4.00. and now shelves or bear and empty, as well as, residents.Everything is boarded up or has phony murals painted on depicting their concerns. 🤩

Alot more stuff...but waaay longer lines. Employees are just as nice and helpful as San Leandro though!

Good variety of products. Everything from housewares to fresh food like vegetables. Most items are 99 cents, but some items are marked higher so I should pay attention. Can be a bit cluttered, especially on restocking days. Never enough shopping carts so recommend going off-peak hours.

Routinely have only two cashiers open. Checkout lines seem to be consistently long, draping down the aisles.They should consider hiring additional help or if they have the someone available, open up additional checkouts.Doesnt make sense to always have to wait 30-45 minutes to simply checkout.

This store is much larger than the one in San Jose, so it has a few more items and deals. There is a Big Lots a few stores down. So it cool to compare items. Plus, go to the other store if one doesnt have what your looking for.

My favorite 99cent store. Well known there. Workers are super friendly. Always greet when entering. Always find new items when returning. Best time to shop is morning while all the good stuff are stocked.

I love this place. They have everything Dollar Tree has plus produce. I get good bargains every time I go. The store is spacious and clean. It is always busy and count on a line to check out but this small inconvenience is worth the savings in dollars.

There are at least 4 dollar stores in my city with various different names. I still travel outside of Hayward to come to this store. Its literally my favorite 99 cents/dollar store to visit. Every time Im there, Im pleasantly surprised by what is there. Its rare that they dont have everything Im looking for. I literally recommended this store to a friend of mine yesterday because we wanted movie snacks before going to the theater. She was overwhelmed by how awesome the selection is. I cant talk this store up enough. To me, its the best store of its kind in the East Bay.

What can I say. So many deals. They get the Trio snack with cheese, nuts or dark chocolate and cranberries or dry banana chips. They sell 3 for 99 cents. At regular grocery stores its $2 each. They are great for energy snacks.

This place is one of the cleanest 99 Cent Stores that I know. The management here works hard to make sure the aisles are cleaned and stocking is done at times other than when customers are there. The things that you can by always change which is nice to get the variety. But as I tell my wife if you see something you like get it now because next month they wont have it. Which honestly adds to how much I spend there. But I love it and I love the savings. I can leave there with a full basket of groceries for about $65. If I go to FoodMaxx that cost me $150 if I go to Luckys at cost me almost $300. I love this place. Its like getting a raise. My money just seems to go way farther there

Almost always long lines and never enough cashiers. Most workers dont seem to know where items are. Most of the customers seem to know more about the stores than the actual employees and many employees either speak Spanish or Chinese or dont understand English at all. Only some of the workers speak English and some are nice. The Security at each store doesnt really do much cause people are stealing left and right. Lines go long and take long because the cashiers take a while to check people out. This time around my cashier was really good and really nice and had a great professional attitude and was fast. Very rare.

A very good variety store with great prices. I find a lot stuff at bargain prices. I shop at this store when I am in the area. Some of the items sell for more than 99-cents but that is what happens when inflation happens - nothing lasts forever.

Great location. Great price for everything good think of, great selections . This 99¢ Store even has produce. Some name brand products that overflow from major stores. Many items sellout so frequent visits for hard to find things. I always buy my cell chargers and some of my food here.

This place has great prices and a pretty decent selection of both groceries and household goods and other household wares. I usually check out this door first before going to other grocery stores and department stores to see if items are available here at a lower price. They even have name brand items available.

So slow not enough cashier. People not six feet apart. Only two cashier and lines was long.

This place is always crowded thats because if its great prices. And nice produces. You can just about anything here for a nice price.

Personally a lot better than the dollar tree cause they have a wide variety of material and food items. Totally recommend it if you live the college life or simply prefer to waste 20 bucks that will last you a good week versus a 20 dollar meal for only one time. But then theres the quality debate too. Its cheap for a reason.

Who the heck doesnt love the good old 99 Cent Store. If I plan to use vegetables that night I will buy them there some things last a little bit longer than others but all in all, what a deal. But some items are more than $0.99 so be sure you check before you buy

This place need more employees I was waiting in the line for 45 minutes and only 2 register was open but employees are really hardworking and nice.

NOT A 99 CENT ONLY store as it is named! They need to change it. I was about to pay knowing I would only pay about a certain amount plus tax. To my surprise it was about $14 than expected because many items were not really $.99!! Be careful when shopping at these locations now!!

You can always find some thing new when you coming here. This is for your everyday needed items. You can also survive off their grocery sections if you trying to save a buck. Always neatly organized. May be out of stock of an item but it never hurts to ask.

They have great items and a great deal. Public restrooms are not clean, it was filthy and smelling. Sometimes fresh fruits and vegetables are not fresh.

Well they have a closing time at 8 pm today I came to store 7:45 and security were telling people there was to many people at the store and the manager orders was not to let anyone in so they decide to close the store 15 minutes before security mentioned that the manager want to leave home at 8 pm that’s why he won’t let anyone in the store

I was very upset with my visit. I went here May 22 2019 around 3:50 and I was waiting in line and noticed a man had made a “compartment” in the bottom of cart using paper rolls. When he got in line the cashier, Leyla let the him go without charging anything but one roll of paper. The man left with a cart full of items and didnt pay a dime. When I brought it to the Cheshire’s attention she laughed and said. “Oh no” and continued her work.

Good items with good prices. Staff is good. I visit this place once in a week and buy usual groceries. Few items are not available but hey we cant get everything at 99€

I was able to find some of the stuff I needed.

Its a nice store. With lots to choose from. Yes we really have to wait for a long time to pay for our stuff but you know i think its ok. I came back here knowing i have to wait so dont understand customers who write we have to wait for a long time every visit here Well if something really bothers me i wont do it again. But i really dont mind the wait. Coz the stuff here is good. I have always got good cashiers too. No one was ever rude. My only reason not giving 5 stars is i never ever get help. since i am have knee issues i really would like that sometimes then walk around every isle looking for that one product.

This store is the absolute worst of Northern California. Be ready to wait 20-30 minutes. The manager here is total garbage. He will allow only two registers to be open with lines all the way to the back of the store. Bad thing is you will see cashiers walking all over the store while there are lines all the way back. SMH!!!

I frequent this store whenever Im in the area it has any and everything you could possibly want at the 99 cent store price of course things do go over a dollar but the only drawback is the tremendous line that you have to wait in but thats to be expected with good prices and abundant products

Inexpensive items mixed cheap items. People who visit stores sometimes can have issues. Store is bit guarded but mind my own business is best.
