This store was very busy, but both register was open at the same time and they were asking people to please stay six apart. That made me feel safe

The store was crowded, filthy, the front entrance was a mess the rug has been flipped over making it easy for customers to fall, totes were on the shelf. There was still Christmas items displayed, shelves were unorganized. Overall the store is a -10 on a 1 to 1p scale.

This is definitely the “ghetto” Dollar General. They never have the ONE thing I’m looking for, store always a mess, one time I asked the lady at the register was she talking to me and she pointed at her earphones and was like nah I’m on the phone 😂...it’s ok though. It’s super close to my house so I guess I’m still gone go LOL.

Staff is super friendly and always very helpful.

Very long line at register. The store was a total wreck, cashier was new and needed help getting the line down, the manager was not dressed like someone running a business should be, she had on a tank top and denim shorts, when i was getting out of my car she was on the sidewalk talking on the phone with someone and using profanity. Seriously I thought she was a customer until I seen her behind the counter. Plus she did not have on a name badge. Honestly, instead of being outside on the phone, she should have been inside cleaning that nasty store.

Dirty alway out of stock could do better.

Staff is super friendly and helpful. Usually they have what I need. The earlier the better. Sometimes the debt card machine acts up but it not the staff fault. They have ask and ask for a new one.

So normally I don’t leave reviews for places that have terrible service because you know I understand things happen. But I stood in line at this place for what felt like forever with nobody behind the counter to check me other the other people there out. There was somebody in the back office because I (easily) heard her talking to the vendor. So after the vendor leaves and standing there for god knows how long I called out to the lady in the back to kindly ask if she could find somebody to check us out. She never responded or come to check on me and the other customers.So fast forward a bit more, still standing there, arms full of stuff, ready to buy. I decided to have one last ditch effort to call the store to see if the lady would at least answer the phone. But it just rang in the back, ignored, just like us, the customers. Nobody ever showed up. I would leave zero stars if possible.

I went tonight wearing my face masks even on the door said it was require.. yet immediately someone passed me with no masks.. employees were not wearing any.. and most costumers also nothing.. only a few. Management should do something about it

Arrived at store at 9:45 pm. Doors were locked and lady just started at me. Sign on door says they close at 10pm. Thanks for the assistance

This store has Wi-Fi!!! The store is a WRECK. There is way too much stock to go out, randomly stacked up all across all sections of the store. The the main walkways are heavily cluttered with stock to go out. The stock on the floor to go out has some category sections completely blocked off. These stores need to store stock in the stockroom and only bring out what they will be putting out during a small window of time, rather than storing it, piled up, all over the shopping room floor.

Its legit. I just dont like the guy that lives right next to Dollar General thats always asking for money & if you cant spare anything hell start insulting you. He is a perfectly healthy young man capable of working.

Highly unorganized and staff moves slow. Can be rude when asking simple questions.. prices are ok. Nothing to be excited about, kind of prefer the family Dollar up the street.

Absolutely love the store and its location. Yes, the check outlines may be long but it is totally worth the wait. I refuse to go anywhere else!

The store associates are always more than helpful. The only drawback to the experience is that, at times, lines to check out are too long, relying on sometimes only one employee, while other lines are closed and other associates hovering around the counter. 8/10 in my book. Theres always room for improvement.

This particular store is the worst DG in Hattiesburg. Theres always boxes in the rows and they never restock. Dont Christmas shop at this location because everything is still boxed up in the back and down every aisle

The store had racks of crates sitting everywhere, it was very hard to get down the aisles, i had to turn around frequently and several areas the shelves were bare.

Very dirty store. Good for little odds and ends. Problem is when you ask for help employees dont show you where items are they just tell you go to aisle and its there. Customer service not great.

I found exactly what I was looking for, and had no problems.

Always out of stock, sorry some of the employees are cool alot are very rude like they hate thier job.

Will not be returning again. Their isles are so packed with carts of inventory that you can hardly get through. The checkout time is unreal. Shady characters out front begging for money and peeking in cars. Last time I went the took my diaper bag and put it behind the counter while I shopped with 4 kids. Ridiculous

Everything there is super cheap and it worth it. Why go to Walmart to spend $30+ and prices at Dollar general is 8+ if buying multiple items.

It was okay. Instead of having two people on registers, there was just ONE PERSON. With the line so long it went all the way to the candy aisle, about 4-6 customers left there buggies and walked out, some came in then walked out because of the long line and only one cashier on register. Fix the problem!

DISTRICT MANAGEMENT yall are treating those employees there SO POORLY. No AIR CONDITIONING, stuff everywhere. Poor women look DEFEATED get down there and fix that store and treat those employees RIGHT!!
