I have bought many vehicles but this was my first new boat.. easy as could be and got exactly what I wanted. I live in south GA and called them about what I wanted they gave me the price and couldn’t beat it anywhere. I drove the 7 hrs got the boat and was gone. Everybody friendly and know their stuff. 2 months later had a small problem with the lights and Alton took care of it and was willing to do whatever was needed. I’ll be back to buy another one for sure..

Hands down the best people to see while shopping for a vehicle, boat or golf cart on 98 west!!! Jack was very informative. He allowed us to test drive the vehicle hassle free! We felt welcome from the moment we stepped onto the lot. We purchased a newer model Chevrolet( $3000 less than the available ones in the area). I love it. They even feed pizza while we looked. I enjoyed my car buying experience and I will return for one of those awesome carts!

I have bought many boats in my life and automobiles. I would rate Smith Motors a 10. Hayden and his team were awesome, I met Hayden 3.8 years ago and wanted to order a boat. I moved to Texas 2 years and it was delayed. Upon my return back home to Louisiana I drove to Hattiesburg to purchase an XPRESS 23B from him. Why, because he and his team do what they say, take care of their customers like the old days. Their word and integrity is the best in the business. I will buy from them again, I dont mind driving 2.5 hours to be taken care of completely, not just after the sell, but continuously through your ownership. Their is a reason Smith Motors is the number 1 X-press Dealer in the USA, The Manufacture of X-press in Arkansas informed me. They take care of their clients and many people from many states as far as 1100 miles away make their purchase at Smith Motors and have the boat shipped to them.

I’m not speaking of just one pretty good employee, I am here to report that the ENTIRE STAFF is very knowledgeable, professional, and are extremely attentive to every detail and need. By far the best buying experience I’ve had. From the first phone call to the final handshake, I was treated fairly and honestly. I will definitely look at Smiths first for my next purchase, and if they ain’t got it I’ll probably wait till they get it and at least give em a shot. I bought a boat in September. I planned on walking in and walking out with a boat and with the great help I did just that. I love my havoc and the guys up there hunt kinda in the same area as I do. When buying my boat they were honest with me and I was given number to call if I ever had issues. He also told me what size wrenches I needed to keep on my boat. Well half way through teal season the thermostat on my mercury got clogged with millet. I remember their mechanic mentioning it to me that it might happen when I bought it. Well standing in the middle of a swamp I called and they put me right through to one of the guys that works on the motors and he walked me right through the process. Boat starting to pee again and I continued to ride around. All around great place. I will be back for a bigger boat one day.

No high-pressure sales, no sleazy car salesman vibes, a very laid-back and comfortable atmosphere, the tech quickly checked and addressed a couple issues I had. They didnt budge much during negotiations, but the list price was fair and their processing fee is almost nothing compared to most other dealers. Unbelievable experience!! We ordered a brand new boat in October 2020. Mr. Keith kept in contact with us every week on the status of our new boat and working out all the paperwork we would need for the purchase. We then traveled over 700 miles to pick it up. It was exactly what we ordered. Everyone at Smith Motor was more than helpful, knowledgeable, polite and friendly. These guys truly went above and beyond for us. Extremely smooth process. I talked with them a few times on the phone and had all my bank info needed. When I showed up my boat was ready all but the prop. The final paperwork only took a few minutes and I was done. The only issue was the wrong prop was sent and had to wait for a while due to the snow storm we had in February. They made it right on many levels. I was given the batteries and stainless prop veteran discount along with a transom saver, electrical adapter for trailer lights, and a trolling motor mount. I understand things happen and am glad for the professionalism of the sale. Next boat purchase will definitely be with smith motor company. Thank yall and good job! 👍🏻

Their name should be Smith Integrity Motor Company. I purchased a new XPress boat from them back in September 2020 and after about 30 hours run time on my Yamaha, I started having issues with it running properly. My boat stayed in 2 different boat shops here locally in Mountain Home, Arkansas for about 3 months (both being Yamaha certified warranty shops). I had to put it in the shop 3 separate times and was getting so frustrated being jacked around and lied to, I decided to make the drive back down 8 hours to Hattiesburg, MS. It took Phillip about 30 minutes to have the issue diagnosed and get the warranty work in process. I cant thank these guys enough for going the extra mile. Phillip is an awesome guy and excellent mechanic. You cant ask for a more honest mechanic and his Integrety is something to be commended. Hayden understands standing behind the products they sell and will bend over backwards to make your experience with Smith Motor Company am A***** experience. I had a great experience purchasing my truck from Alton at Smith’s Motor Company. From initial contact, you could tell he wanted to make sure I was getting what I wanted and explain every detail of the truck to me over the phone as well as sent additional pictures that I requested. I filled out their online credit application and he took it from there, he got me a great rate and warranty., I told him going to a dealership and going through the buying process is sometimes like getting your teeth pulled, I told him I was traveling 4 hours to come get the truck and I want to check out the truck with a test drive sign paper work and leave, he told me what to have and bring with me to make that happen and I was in and out in 30 minutes. I’m not typically a review writer unless I have a customer experience that was exceptionally good or bad. In the case of Smith Motor Company, it was an absolutely amazing customer experience. I worked with Keith, Hayden and Alton throughout the purchasing process of buying a new boat (they have the best prices on Xpress boats anywhere in the country by a landslide) and they were incredibly responsive in the pre-sales process. The thing that really stood out to me was how responsive they were after I had already made the purchase. Even after they had the sale, any issues or questions I had were met with the same level of responsiveness. I even lost a cup holder on the long haul home and was sent a replacement the next day. That level of customer service is almost unheard of these days. If you’re going to spend the money on a new boat it’s worth making the trip to visit these guys knowing you’ll be well taken care of.

This was the first time I have purchased an out of state vehicle. I was very interested in a specific truck but was hesitant to purchase without being able to test drive the 2008 F150 . Alton was the name of the sales manager and he assisted me with the sale from start to finish. I would recommend this dealer to anyone. Alton was able to help me stay within my budget and allowed me 24 hours to evaluate the trucks condition upon receiving the truck- which had been shipped to me. The truck was everything that Smith Motor Company said it was. In my experience these are very honest people.

I have purchased two vehicles from Smith Motor Company over the past three years, and I will continue to do business with them. The first vehicle was a Ford F150. After driving it for around a week, I noticed it had some slipping issues. I took it back to them, and they honored their warranty to fix it. They replaced the transmission and solved the problem. Several months later, it felt like it was tearing up again. They investigated it and figured out that I had a plug broken off within the engine. They were able to get it out without tearing the engine apart and were very reasonable on the service fee. I havent had any problems out of the truck since then, and Ive driven it for around 3 years now. Its quite refreshing to deal with car dealers that arent only out to make a dollar. I just bought a minivan last week and traded in my Armada. My Armada was starting to give me mechanical problems so I let them know up front. They didnt give me much on my trade-in, but again it did have issues. They said that they were just going to send it to the auto auction to sell wholesale and get their money back. This is so much better than those that would just try to patch it up and resell it with problems to an unsuspecting buyer. What I liked about the process, is that the vehicle was priced good up front so that I didnt have to waste hours trying to haggle and negotiate. They have some of the lowest advertised prices in the area. They wouldnt negotiate on the price, but they were willing to help me out with some of my other requests. The tires on the van that I liked were a good bit more worn more than the tires on a different colored van beside it. They sweetened the deal for me by swapping the tires. It took less than 2 hours from the time that I pulled up to the time that I pulled away in my new vehicle. That was impressive considering that I did my financing while I was there. I will definitely do business with Smith Motor Company again. Give them a chance if you havent. They are good people to deal with.

We drove an hour to check out a 2013 Camry that was at least a couple thousand cheaper than the others out there. Alton came out and greeted us as usual then just stayed back and let the car sell itself! BOAT REVIEW - After doing research for a new Tri-toon we decided on a Veranda because of the decking. We contacted the company and ordered a catalog and went to work picking out our boat. Once we decided on our boat we visited several dealers in Louisiana and Mississippi. All of them gave us their BEST price. Let me tell you the truth that Keith and Hayden beat them all easily with their quote. They kept us updated with the building process and I even received calls from Veranda with updates. When we picked up our boat up it could not have gone even smoother. The paperwork was ready and every question answered. My thoughts/opinion : very honest, true family owned business, loyal to customers, great customer service, very friendly, great with trade in value on your car, firm on their price, My experiences : I have bought a Tahoe, Silverado, and 2 Maximas. I had absolutely no problems with the first 3 . They gave me a wonderful experience . The 2nd maxima was a buyers worse fear . We bought the car and 2 days later the transmission went out in it 😳. I drove to the dealer ship and explained what happens and that the car is not drivable . They IMMEDIATELY called a tow truck and had him go pick the car up from my house . They were very apologetic and said, we will take care of dean not what we feel will be a better route to fix the car. I left the dealer and about 10mins later I received a phone call from Keith. He had a BRAND NEW transmission ordered and they fixed everything with zero money from us . We had the car back in 4 days . I will do business with these people until I die . They are absolutely awesome ! Please give them a shot and I hope you have a great experience !

One of the most hassel-free purchases of a motor vehicle that Ive ever done. Smith Motor Co. is one of the few pre-owned dealers that I know of that provide a 60-day warranty on their used vehicles. Thank goodness! Were from out-of-state and upon our return home to Florida, we had issues with our 2008 Titan running rough every day. We contacted Keith at Smith Motor Co. and without hesitation, he apologized and advised us to take it to our nearest Nissan dealer. After extensive troubleshooting, Hampton Nissan in Ft. Walton Beach determined that our truck needed the engine replaced. Keith coordinated with me and Hampton Nissan and ultimately paid for the replacement of our engine with no hassels. I cannot say enough good things about this dealership and would highly recommend them to anyone. I feel that they went over and beyond in their efforts to satisfy us as a customer. Great people! When you call the prices go up their advertising one price online but when contacted the prices go up thousands then I talked to owner and he tried to tell me he wouldnt charge me freight fee, prep fee,and batteries when it clearly says on their website all that is included in online advertised price that they wouldnt stand behind to begin with when I called I just dont understand how people like this sleep at night
