Would not contact Enterprise to get us a vehicle. No transportation for over 8 days. No loaner. Picked up truck, drove it 20 miles, problems started again. Not fixed after a major repair. Taking it to another dealership.

I had a scheduled appointment on 9/23/21at 7:00a.m. for service on my Tahoe. At 2:30pm, I called to inquire as to the status of my vehicle to learn from the Receptionist that my vehicle had not yet been looked at. I asked to speak to the Manager to understand what was going on. I was told that they had a backlog of vehicles in the service area that needed to be completed before my vehicle. This should have been disclosed to me either prior to making the appointment or at the very least, the morning of 9/23/21 when I dropped my vehicle off for service. This was an unacceptable experience as my time is valuable to me and the lack of communication and transparency of not being advised of this situation from either the service advisor or the manager is not customer oriented. I also did not appreciate the cavalier attitude associated with this entire experience.
Clayton in the truck shop is the man! Very cordial and service oriented, when dealing with him. I will definitely consider having him do future work on my vehicle.
I had an appointment for service that was set up online for an oil change and some other services. The lady in servíce didn’t even bother to look up my service requests so I didn’t even get what I scheduled. I only got an oil change. She told me it should be about 1.5 hrs before they get to me, so I waited. I checked after 2hours and nothing and she just blew me off. I checked again after 3 hours and my vehicle was ready, but she didn’t even tell me. I had to go find out myself because she had left her desk. I just knew all my services weren’t done so I checked my app and tires before I asked the cashier what had been done. Basically, I was supposed to have a 7500 mile maintenance, oil change, tire rotation, and a 25pt check. All I got was an oil change, the cashier lied and said they checked my tires and rotated but I mark my tires. They were never touched. My low tire pressure light was still on so they didn’t even check that. Just an all around waste of 3hours and $82. Sad thing is, I’ve bought multiple vehicles from here, including this one. I won’t be going back for service again. I’ll go to another Chevy service department that hopefully values their customers. The reps’ name was Alexandra Btw

I was nervous about buying a new car. My car broke down about halfway down the Causway. It was terrifying and I was not looking forward to getting a new one but I needed to. I had a very small budget and found I was pressured into buying more than I could afford at other dealers. Kione, Kayla, Tiger, and Joe made my experience at Leson Chevrolet great! They *figuratively* held my hand through the whole process, even though I was a small fry buying a small car. :) Kione talked me through things on the phone and set up an appointment for me. My experience at Leson Chevrolet was new and long, but Ishman Boles (my sales person) made everything easier and the process more comprehensive as this was my first time buying a car. I recommend Ishman at Leson to any and everyone especially if you want it to be an easy process.
Never ever call us. They kept our vehicle over night and didnt have enough respect to call us. A simple phone call it tell us they need to keep it would have been appreciated. We left the vehicle with them with 3 issues only to be told they dont know Whats wrong. Our camera is freezing. So I guess when our warranty is out this year Ill just replace it myself? This dealership needs to go out of business or just shut down. Im buying a ford next time!!!!!
Paid over $2300 for the same issues 4 times issue being the car won’t won’t start or just periodically stops starting. They blamed it on a diffeeent issue each time and made us repay diagnostic fees, etc for them to “fix” the issue and then the car would stop working either the same day or within the same week. Picked car up for the 5th time same day, car stops working. Also we given a price, paid the price and received the receipt and then they REFUSED us the keys for over an hour because they wanted to charge a higher price . They also broke other things in the vehicle that wasn’t broken before. I can no longe ruse my review camera mirror or see the screen at all, they windows now can only be controlled by the driver which wasn’t an issue until immediately after they parially repaired the passenger window ( I say partially because they didn’t even finish putting it back together) The last incident with refusing us the keys just happens and I literally had a sick. Hold with me and I begged and pleaded and cried for them to stop doing this to me and to please give me my keys. When they continued to refuse me I became extremely frustrated, overwhelmed, dissapointed, and outraged. This is beyond ridiculous and it must stop!
I brought a used car from Lesson Chevrolet and Barrett was extremely helpful and quick. He started the paperwork with my dad while I was in the process of getting to the dealership. He made the process smooth and easy, so that all I had to do was sign and pay when I got there. It was quick, easy, professional, and very customer service oriented. I was only there an hour from the time I walked in the door to the time I drove off. It only took him an hour with my dad to start the process. I will definitely use Barrett at Leson Chevrolet again for my next car purchase.

Leson Chevrolet is not the upstanding dealership that it used to be. My biggest complaint is with the owners son. I dont know his name since he didnt introduce himself when he walked into the salesmans office, the salesman informed us that he was the owners son. He asked us to name a price (for a vehicle with a largely cracked windshield that they originally said they wouldnt replace). We named a price and he abruptly left the room without a word. The salesman went to talk to him and came back with a print out that had THE SAME listed price on it. He didnt reduce the price at all but changed his mind about replacing the windshield. We shouldnt had to negotiate the price of a vehicle that needed an obvious repair to even make it street legal. We left and purchased a vehicle elsewhere. Leson Chevrolet used to be one of the best dealerships on the Westbank. I dont know what happened over the years but now I dont consider them to be a reputable business anymore. Ill never go back. Very disappointing.

I had to think long and hard about this review because I normally dont want to post anything negative but my experience was not that great. Our salesman was nice so that was not an issue but we have bought 2 vehicles from Leson in the past and this experience was most definitely not as good as the others. We received zero information about the vehicle we came to look at and I still dont know all of the things this particular vehicle is even equipped with. Every time we have purchased a new car the salesman would go into detail explaining every feature to us and we got none of that. Then to top it all off after we finalized the sale and I got back in the vehicle after it had been washed there were 3 noticable scratches on the dashboard that were not there prior. We pointed it out and the manager took pictures, gave us a paper that they owe us to fix it then said that the guy who needed to look at it would contact us and that still has not happened. Because of the car shortage happening right now we did not have a lot of choices otherwise I would not have purchased a vehicle from Leson and would have went somewhere else.
I enjoyed buying a car from them. It was super quick and a smooth process. I knew what I wanted and got it. I know a lot of people have this thing about car salesman trying to up sale you and rush you into purchasing but that was not my experience here. Especially because I already did my financing online 2 days prior so all I had to do was go to the dealership, sign some papers, and drive my new car home.

I did not get my vehicle serviced at Leson Chevrolet. I will never get my vehicle serviced there again ever since my last experience two years ago. I will never even buy a vehicle from them again. They never fully looked into a problem I had with my truck. I reported the problem while my vehicle was under warranty. The problem has gotten worse and the vehicle is no longer under warranty.

Lack of communication of whats going on with my vehicle. Didnt return my calls (left 5 voicemails). Called my office and not the 2 numbers I provided. Shuttle service didnt use GPS took a long route.
Took my car in over 2 weeks ago. First time I walked in, I was completely ignored by the 5+ people working, so I went back to work to handle some stuff since they all seemed so busy. I came back later the same day, and same thing. Not a “hello can I help you”, nothing! So, I said out loud “Chevy in Covington would never treat people like this!” And walked out. By the time I got to my car, someone finally came out to help. They diagnosed it that day. I have a warranty on my car. I know what my warranty covers (it covers everything, BUMPER TO BUMPER) They kept trying to push me to leave saying the warranty wasn’t going to cover it, but it did, imagine that!! I asked about a loaner car and was told that when they call me once they get the part, I can set up an appointment, and loaner cars are available by appointment only. Cool, right? A week passes and no call. I call them. The man on the phone says he can’t hear me, so I go to the dealership. They look it up, but no parts were in. I waited another week and still no call, so I went back. FINALLY, the parts came in, but nobody called. We set up my appointment for the following Monday. I bring the car in and ask about the loaner, they said they didn’t have any available, even though that’s why I waited 2 weeks instead of going somewhere else. But whatever, they said it will be done the same day, I can make it a day without a car. I asked if they could change the oil while they had it, they said yes. Car was done about 4-5 hours later. Awesome!!! I go pick it up, and they forgot to tell the mechanic to change the oil. Too much run around, I will not go back! I just hope they actually fixed the car.
My wife and I were in the market for a van and after researching several car dealerships, we chose Leson Chevrolet. When we arrived at the facility we were greeted by Mr. Tiger Smith who began explaining information on the type of van we wanted to purchase giving us a complete inventory of the vehicle and offered for us to test drive the van. I was impressed with his knowledge of the van and he did not present himself in a manner where I felt pressured to make the purchase. We were seated in his office and he was very efficient in reviewing the price of the van and explaining to us the process that would take place for us to purchase the van. We were guided through the purchase in a very efficient manner and all our questions were answered in a professional manner by Mr. Smith. Ok brought it in and had three things to get checked and i was told there would be a $130 diagnostic fee. well i get a call and i was told two of the items would be covered under warranty and the third would be fixed by maintenance which wasnt covered under the warranty. I was told the 130 diagnostic would be applied to repair but since that item was maintenance and not repair it could not be applied. I brought my truck in for service 4/25. they said it was ready on 4/26 i picked it up and got down the road the parking assist needs service popped up again. i turned around and brought my truck back. 4/27 they said the part would be in friday 4/28, i just got a call and they said the wrong part was sent. also on the maintenance the printed out cost was $140 less the the verbal quote and i was told the printed was wrong. I spoke the service manager and he set my mind at ease some and seemed to be really knowledgeable. I decided to have them do some of the maintenance while they had the truck, they quoted me $149 on the maintenance, i will see if that changes when i go to pick up my truck. So my truck has been there 4 days and the main reason i brought it there was the parking assist and that issue is still not fixed. They did fix the a/c but any place could have done that. the parking assist required programming which needed to be done by a dealer. the first module they put in they said must have been used. i need my truck for this weekend i asked how long to install the module, they said one to two hours. I told them i will pick up the truck and when it comes in i will let them install it. I am going to call the warranty company to let them know it is still not fixed. When I called the warranty company I was told that they filed another claim to change my battery cables because my ABS looks get was on. I told them it wasn’t on when I brought it in.

Service is terrible. My A/C was running hot . They assured me they checked the Freon level & that was not the problem . I went to Another shop to find out I had 1/2 the amount of Freon I should have .

Went in to purchase a Malibu. Leson came out and personally assisted. He even went as as far as to go and get a get a vehicle so the we can continue talking to the sales rep. He was super helpful. I read some of the other reviewers and cannot understand what they stated. He took the time to make personal conversation with our kids as well. I would come back again.

The sales guy tiger was like dont buy this its gonna break down on you in a few months :crack windshield radio didnt work he didnt even try to let me test drive the car. He dragged for the car from the time I sat in it. He said let me get you a new car I told him I had no credit and he insist in me trying. I waited an hour only to find out I needed a Co signer witch I already knew and they made my credit worse. Call back about the use car they said I still needed a cosigner. A car that cost $8,000. Really dud never again worst Experience ever.

Hello,I reached out to multiple Chevrolet dealerships within 600 miles of Fort Walton Beach, FL and all of them were not budging on the price ($26K-27K before taxes) of their 2020 Chevy Bolts. I managed to find Leson Chevrolet via Autotrader and called immediately to see if they still had that car in stock. I spoke with Johnny and we haggled back and forth for a little bit (Which is normal for a dealership to do), but we ultimately found a price that worked for the both of us. Johnny then transferred me to Marley, she took care of the rest of the purchase procedure. Marley was very friendly and knowledgable.It took about 1.5 hours to purchase the car (This Includes test driving, inspecting, purchase agreements, & paying for the car). I had a very pleasant time at this dealership and I hope that future customers do too.
Horrible. Make sure you get EVERYTHING in writing from this dealership. My car salesman obviously had no idea what he was talking about. Stephen Smith. Told me that my used car was still under warranty bc it is under 80,000 miles. Bring it to get it fixed and no that’s only for the first owner of the vehicle. $650 out my pocket. Not to mention everything else I’ve been through with these people... Would NEVER buy here again.

Trying to get keys cut and a fob for my newly purchased Chevy spark left multiple phone messages the service department overweek period calls never returned waited 20 minutes at the dealership in person to be ignored by five or six different people behind the counter .. I suggest you drive to Metairie or Kenner and not deal with these people

I came in early, on last day of Chevy Employee Sales Promotion, Tony Lewis, helped us and we looked at 2019 Equinoxs LT Trucks and I knew pretty much what wanted. I am completely SATISFIED, with IT !!Truck runs great, and have had many COMPLIMENTS on IT already !! We have put 275 mi in 7days. He was great Sales person, and helpful getting us thru buying process, but it got crazy picking car up, later in day. Next time I come in, hope to ask a few questions. Finance guy was also good,Charles Maestri, with paperwork.I had relative, that works for FORD say WOW That is some truck! !I was GM stock holder for over 20years, so I do buy GM cars.Also my husband and I were in Cab business total 40 years,(1964-2007) CHEVY out Performs FORD by far, especially in cost of Parts.
Today is the second time in the past year Ive brought my vehicle here for service. Both times I had a 8 a.m. appointment and they didnt even touch my vehicle all day. No one had the professional courtesy to call me and let me know the status of my vehicle. I dont know the point of having a appointment if they dont even touch your vehicle that day. Im just glad I didnt decide to wait there for them to finish my vehicle. Everyone is very nice but the service is substandard
