Eddy bailed me out big time! Needed a catalytic installed asap as I was getting ready to travel back home after a trip south. Three other shops I talked to said 3-4 days before getting the cat i needed and installed. Eddy here at Midas got it done same day and allowed me to get back home on time. Thanks!!!

I passed by this place two times and finally gave up because I was looking for a gray yellow and black building depicted by the picture in website and review. I had no idea the business was red on top of the signage being blown away by the hurricane. So much for branding and uniformity. If the building stands this far apart from the franchise, Im incline to think the service is just the same. My first impression is that I will go somewhere else.

Excellent mechanic. Very informative and repaired vehicle in a timely matter. Very honest told me what issues my car has that can wait. Highly recommended. I will returning for all my future car needs.

Extremely deceitful. Was given estimate of $600.00. Agreed to pay. Kept my Vehicle for few days. Mechanic completely no knowledge to fix. Ruined my vehicle broke other parts & asking $1200.00 more. Cheating customers. Won’t release my vehicle. Offered to pay them $300.00 for labor & parts. Declined it. Brought to fix one problem . Now asking more money to fix other problem which was not existing before. Don’t trust this company. No manners to talk to customer. I was threatened they going to put Mechanic lien on my Vehicle. No one should go at this place. No conscious. Love to steal senior citizens money who are on fixed income.I have written estimate from Ford they inspected my vehicle & were charging $900.00. Midas beat their price by $300.00. My vehicle did not have any other problems. Midas mechanic also agreed to Ford & now they are telling me other parts are broken. Why were they not broken before. It happened after it was in the hands of Midas mechanics. Not recommended to anyone.

A mechanic you trust is valuable thing. Eddie is that guy for me. He isnt the closest mechanic to me, but I drive to him because I know hes as knowledgeable and experienced as they come, and hell shoot me straight. Glad to have found his shop.

Nothing but attitudes over there I asked a simple question and he gave me attitude answer wow I first gave them 5 stars cause I thought they were good ppl and there prices was reasonable I dont even think they looked at my car i went to them cause the people in autozone on laplaco said that the man eddie was good at what he do but he the one gave me the attitude the lady that works in there the same way attitude

Edward and his crew are the BEST! This location provides the honest and fair service like the car services from decades gone by. I HIGHLY recommend this team to anyone looking for great honest service. They gave my vehicle a thorough inspection then explained and showed me all of the issues I had with my brakes, attachments, suspension, and struts. They recommended the items that needed immediate attention and showed me the items that may have a bit more time before needing repair or replacement. They were very professional and courteous. It is refreshing to see that there are still very reputable car service companies in our area.Go see them!

They deserve 10 stars for service! Daniel was professional and friendly. The mechanic was very helpful and thorough. As I am not mechanically inclined, I feel I need to get estimates from multiple locations to see if I am getting a fair estimate. With Midas on Lapalco Blvd. Harvey Location, I feel satisfied with their service and price. Theyre not just for mufflers. They helped me weld a leak on the bottom of my car that was torn from bottoming out on driveway curb. I have compared prices and they are reasonable compare to others. Most of all, they dont try to upsell anything more than what you need done on your car. They even mailed me an estimate on all the maintenance I requested them to quote on. I have never in my life had an estimate sent to me from a shop. I even saw that they were giving another customer a ride home because they would need to hold the car for a while to repair. They will continue to have my business. Once you try them, you will think that all services should be this way. They love their job and it shows!

They were amazing!! All I needed was two break pads and hardware replaced and they went over and beyond! They filled my wiper fluid and I also got an oil change and now my car runs like new! He even waited for me to pick it up a couple minutes after closing! Im not going anywhere else for car troubles again! And the price was great! He added two coupons without me asking!

This place is definitely professional. It was super busy ( sign of a good mechanic I guess) so I just left the car there got a uber home, they called me to come back to get it when it was done. First I’d like to say get a second opinion not just a quote on anything they say is wrong.Went here for an exhaust leak. Guy told me $230 to change out the pipe that was cracked. I asked if he could just weld it and he said it was rotted and that wasn’t a good idea but if he did it was $65 plus tax. Well I took my car for a second opinion to express discount muffler and he looked at it and charged $20 to weld it and said there was nothing wrong with the pipe other than the fact it was cracked. Midas tried to rip me off. Not only was the price marked way up he lied about my pipe being rotted just to upsell a simple weld job.Get a second opinion, always!!
