Hot topic is one of the stores that I shop at and spend way to much money at its a small store but definitely worth a visit. The staff is incredibly friendly and super helpful with any questions you have its always a fun and happy atmosphere whenever I go there.

LOVE THE STAFF! Man, there arent too many people that will make you want to go back to a store, but their staff are always nice and pleasant. They hide their bad moods well! Haha, best people for customer service!

The people that work there are so nice and considerate. They were super helpful and kind. The prices there are still outrageous, but I think that just comes with the territory. They have great Covid protocols and are strict about it which is wonderful. I do feel bad that I rummaged through the t shirts and couldn’t fold them back neatly so this one guy folded like ten t shirts I messed up. Sorry man.

I love hot topic! And this location was very clean and well stocked. The cashier was friendly and knowledgeable about the products. They also had a very good deal on sunglasses of buy 1, get 2 free which I purchased. I signed up for the rewards program in the store which was quick and easy. Thanks for providing great service!

Cool but overpriced

Associate told me I could return a pair of suspenders if I needed to-- I returned a week later to return them, not worn, and the manager tells me that they have to be returned in the original packaging (keep in mind I specifically asked the associate if I can return it outside of the packaging, because in order to get the suspenders out of the packing to try them on, you have to unwind them from the packaging and such wrapping is hard to duplicate, and the associate told me I can even return them without the packaging if I needed to). When I told this to the manager, she said shes just an associate, she doesnt know. .......maybe properly train your associates or at least give me my money back considering thats what I was told upon purchasing the item? I cant pay my rent with stupid ass store credit.

Will always love hot topic for the merchandise, the staff can be a bit overwhelming at times but it’s fun to see what cute items are in store :)

Its been a few years since the last time Ive been in a hot topic store. Its definitely not like anything like before. Parents used to be afraid to take their kids into the store cuz it was more gothic. Now, its more of a Disney show. The lady who was working there was very friendly and helpful.

Hot Topic is a fun store to visit every once in a while, always has cool shirts and accessories. Good service here as well.

Dear employee Sid,I want to let you know that you ruined this store of any future purchases from me after today. This includes the huge MHA window cling on your store front that has my name on it.Backstory for those interested:Today a new Kid Flash funko pop released with a chase version that glows in the dark. There is a 1 in 6 chance of getting this version. The hot topic website updated today saying it would be available in stores and online tonight. I live 40ish minutes this location so i left my house at 7am determined to purchase a rare chase version. I arrive at the hot topic store at 8am with no other customers waiting. I figured it was a guarantee at a chase since I was the first to arrive and wait. I pop my headphones on and wait it out. Fast forward to 9:20am. Sid shows up and there are still no other customers around or waiting. I take off my headphones as he unlocks the gate and I say good morning and he gives me no response. I can take a hint, so i resumed my patient waiting as he began doing his opening duties. 9:40an he opens the gate and kinda rudely asks what do I need or am I just waiting for the store to open. I explain to him what im looking for so he goes to the back and comes back in 5 minutes later saying they dont have any and they could come on the truck today probably after noon. So i ask if he can hold one since ive been waiting so patiently by myself and say no, understandably, but he offered to take down my name and number and would call me when the truck came so I wouldnt have to wait around.And this is where it hits the fan.Its now 9:50sm and i sit in the mall commons area and call corporate because the website clearly states available in store today. Not select stores. So i felt I wasted a lot of my time. After ending the call I figure while Im at the mall why not just see if I need anything from hot topic that i need. Its now 10:05am and the store has opened. GUESS WHATS ON THE SHELF AND ALL THE CHASES [GLOW VERSIONS] WERE SOLD? All the Kid Flash funko pops that i had been waiting for all morning. He sold them to somebody else already. I know a truck wasnt delivered and unloaded in 5 to 10 mins. So I get upset about it. He say he found them under some clothes behind the register as hes ringing this guy out with the chases I was after.... uhm no thats a lie. Why didnt you call me like you said you would anyways? You just held them for a buddy and didnt know Id come back... You did me dirty, Sid. What you did is understock and you need to be fired. He wouldnt offer me any kind of gift card for my time. After haggling he finally offered me a free funko pop, which is clearly not the one I wanted. So of course I got his name, his store managers name, i called corporate back immediately and I will be speaking with your regional manager tomorrow.Good luck,One Very Upset Customer

Well... Over the years of going to this particular Hot Topic, Ive gotten to know a few of the employees. Today, we were helped by a couple new people. And I can honestly say, there isnt a better group of people to help you in a store like Hot Topic, where there is waaaaaay too much to choose from. (In a good way!)Today, being Black Friday, there were more employees in there than usual. More people to help the massive crowd that gathers for the $10 tees. You CANNOT beat that price!We were helped by 3 different people. All of them knew what was going on, they made sure we had all the information about sales and promotions, and we were left to shop (if we truly wanted to be left alone).Ashleigh, Sebastian, and Erin... You guys are the best! Thank you so much for your help tonight. Erin, you have an amazing team on your hands (those two, and the rest of the gang who I couldnt mention by name because I cant spell them). I hope they stay as hardworking and helpful as they were tonight.Although youre a bunch of Slytherins and Hufflepuffs, this Gryffindor loves you guys and appreciates all you did tonight.
