This place is great, my girls and I all love our glasses ..the ladies there are so nice … Tina was so helpful!.

The so called manager refused to assist me because I told her not to worry about my insurance, she actually mocked me because of my remark. She kept repeating my remark. I simply asked to show me frames and so she could tell me what I was looking at price. She refused to get out of her seat and told me I could go somewhere else. This I can say has been the qorst customer service. It is amazing how people like this are promoted to management, maybe its who you know because it was not based on customer service. I am assumi g because of the way I was dressed she figured I could afford it. Went elsewhere and spent over $600, but the service was amazing.

If you can find another place do it. Whats worse is that its not even the doctors fault. Hes always sweet and amazing, makes you feel comfortable. Its the staff! As soon as you walk in they make you feel like youre bothering them some how. They talk out loud about personal things, I could even hear them in the exam room. Then my husband goes in months ago, pays for contacts, never gets a call. He calls several times, they give him the run around. He went in several times before the closing hours posted, entire staff just gone. Doctor actually came out once and says oh I guess they left? Im not sure where they are like seriously who runs an office this way! My husband finally catches them and they told them since he never went for them the sent them back and no refunds. Ummm no! You shouldve called! You shouldve been there when we went by several times! Ughhhh just stay as far away from this place if you ever want to actually get your contacts. These ladies are the worst.

The visit was good. But when I ordered my contact lenses for my wife and I. They had said they will call me when they arrive and it should take 2 weeks. When 2 weeks had passed I had called them about my contacts and they said they haven’t gotten in yet. I had paid for contacts over the phone by then. 3rd week comes around I call them (notice that I had to be the one to call them) I was told that the payment was still pending from the insurance (I was told my payment went through 3 weeks ago and was for BOTH my contacts and my wife. Next day they called me (which I was surprised they did something right) they told my wife I still needed to pay for the contacts and the insurance did go through. So I paid A 2ND TIME. Went to pick up my contacts and was told the payment that was taken today will be refunded because the 1st payment was showing up on a different date. ARE YOU SERIOUS!! I appreciate that you took notice of your mistake (which I did not receive an apology for) but you guys lack the communication that is desperately needed in this place. You have lost a customer vision works. Will not be returning and thanks for the 3 week wait and putting me on a hold for a refund for nothing. Thanks!

Came here with my boyfriend a few weeks ago to help him pick a pair of glasses. When we get there the customer service is fantastic from one of the female reps. They tell us in about 7-10 days he should get a call or text saying his glasses are ready.About 12 days pass and no call or text has been given... he calls the store at exactly 11am when they open, they tell him “oh we’ll look in the system and give you a call back” about 2-3 hours go by, he still hasn’t received a call. So he calls again. This time it’s another rep answers and she says the same thing the first rep said, he’ll get a call back.So another 2-3 hours go by and still no call. So now we’re irritated and upset he still hasn’t received a call.We drive to the store and ask the 1st rep who answered the phone and helped us pick the glasses back a few weeks ago. She goes on about how she apparently called back and she remembered telling him they have a 21 day guarantee policy. We look at each very confused because we both go through his phone log and no phone call had ever been made by the store. I bring up that he hasn’t received a call at all and she may be thinking of someone else and she continues to lie straight to our faces that she did call.Very poor customer service.

I was greeted properly in a timely manner and the assistance I was given was much needed since I am very indecisive when it comes to glasses. Nice people, professional service, good selection, excellent prices. They process the insurance which is nice. Some places wont process the insurance so you need to pay upfront and ask for reimbursement. I left paying only $20 for the clear coat upgrade. I dont like waiting 2 weeks to get the glasses but seems that is the best anyone in town can do.

I bring all my family here. The staff is friendly and helpful. Every time I go they offer to clean my glasses and change my nose pads for FREE. What optical does that? I ordered two pair of glasses last Saturday and was told it would be 2 weeks before they would be ready. I stopped by the following Saturday and found that the lenses had come in early and that Rudy prepared them immediately. I walked out with both pairs a week early and they were exactly what I wanted. You will get great service from their staff who ensure you dont leave there unsatisfied.

I love my glasses but also the experience. I went to pick up my glasses and my baby had fallen asleep in the car. I called from the parking lot and talked to a tech and he offered to walk the glasses to my car and made sure they fit well. Wonderful customer service!

Very Rude called because my glasses were promised for two weeks from when I ordered them. When I called they asked well did you receive a text message from us? I said no that’s why I’m calling and she said well if you didn’t get a text that means they are not ready. Okay so end of week 3 going on 4 I called because I needed my glasses to see. I had threaten to just get a refund and sure enough they called me 5 minutes later that my glasses were ready for pick up after saying if I wanted to pick them up I had to make another appointment and wasn’t told about that till after I ordered them. Not to mention getting glasses from here is like going to an auction walked in and was told about buy 1 get 1 free so I picked my two frames and total was 400$ I was confused as hell then she goes on to say oh there is another coupon for the 69$ frames and got to 300$ I was still hesitant and she dropped the price to 201.50$ like WTH every time I asked what are the exact charges she would change everything I was getting charged for I got my refund but since I paid cash I have to wait 6-8 weeks for a refund 😂 on the 2nd week of waiting for my glasses I went to valley vista across the street that’s located in the Harlingen mall and got my glasses for 30$ lens and frame included in 1 hour 😌 and the lady who helped me was very respectful and helpful. Never going to visionworks again!

I came in to replace a screw on my favorite Ray-Ban sunglasses and Ida was amazing! She replaced the screw, tighten up the rest and cleaned my sunglasses!!! They try to push their own brands rather than giving a common brand prescription to make a buck. Wouldnt even be so bad if they would just suggest it, rather than make it the default but they will stall you and prod you to their more expensive stuff.

Everyone has always been helpful. Tina has helped me every time I need new glasses, they all give their honest opinion but never too pushy. Definitely recommend!

Went in today for an adjustment because my glasses were slipping a lot and the girl with the purple hair was awesome she replaced my old nose pieces with a diff kind that feel so much better. Will definitely be back when my insurance kicks in.

I bought 2 pair glasses at the newer vision works not in the mall and had issues with one pair. My Sunglasses were great however, my clear lense pair are horribly scratched and have stress fractures running through them. I paid a whole bunch of extras to prevent this kind of stuff from happening and the justification was that i was using a dirty cloth. I have never had that issue before. I was treated like a idiot being explained the difference between scratch resistant and scratch proof. After explaining and showing how my glasses were defected from the start they put a order in for new lenses which i have yet to be called back for after 2 weeks.

When I walked in, i was immediately acknowledged.Got a second pair of rayban sunglasses for 50% off with my insurance. The girl that helped me took the time to show me different styles until I found one I felt confident wearing. The Service was excellent!! If you need glasses, i recommend this place. They help you, and take the time to get the right frames ..

I’m a long time customer of Visionworks, but now I’m very disappointed with their service. I’ve gone 3 times now and they can’t get my glasses right. I wear progressive and I have to lift up my glasses to read. They have re measured them and say it’s right. I asked that perhaps I needed a different frame and I was told that the frames have nothing to do with it. Well, then, why is it that they can’t get it right.I’ve even gone to get 3 more eye exams, thinking that it was the prescription. Last time I went to the store to let them know that my glasses are still not right, one of the associates told me that perhaps there is something wrong with my eyes and that I needed to go see an eye specialist or perhaps I’m telling the optometrist the wrong readings. I never had any problems when Visionworks was inside the mall. I’m so frustrated and disappointed.

Went to the place wear I purchased my glasses to fix them n they tried their best but couldnt fix them. Came to Visionworks already thinking they were not going to be able to help me. This is a revised review: After experiencing a not so pleasant experience at VisionWorks and posting a negative review, I was surprised to get a call from the store manager. She listened as I recounted my experience at her store. Besides telling me she was sorry for the experience, she wanted to make it right for me but re-doing my glasses (at no cost to me). I was very impressed by her resolve to make a unhappy customer into a happy one. For that reason, I decided to rewrite my review and give them 4 stars
