I just came in about 2014 Honda Civic transmission cap. Kenny and his staff were great at understanding my concern, and took the time to describe what could possibly be going on with my transmission. I appreciated Kenny’s effort to help correct the issue which could possibly be saving me a lot of time and money. It seemed like he really cared about that for me! On the recommendation of our mechanic, we brought our 2006 Isuzu SUV, which is no longer manufactured, to Kenny who specializes in transmissions and was able to fabricate and replace rusted cooling lines to the transmission at a very reasonable price! Please read this....If you want honesty, I mean an honest opinion and service, take your vehicle to Goodeal. When you meet Kenny you will understand why. He had my attention from the first conversation.I have a 2012 Ford F150 Crew Cab with 160k miles. Recently, I was having an issue with my truck sliding into a high gear from a stopped position. It would move like it was in 5th gear. It did this randomly. Ran perfect most of the time.I will spare you all the details about what exactly was wrong with my truck but it is a transmission issue.I was recommended to take my truck to Goodeal Discount Transmission.My truck coded as a TSB by the computer. (Technical Service Bulletin) (I was not charged for this. Note this.) This means it is an issue that should be covered under warranty.Molded Leadframe was identified on the computer, so thinking it was under warranty, it was suggested by Kenny to take it to a dealer to get it done at NO cost. He never suggested letting him do the work and charging me. Note that.I took the vehicle to a dealership. I will not mention the dealership. They agreed it was a TSB and it needed a molded leadframe. The problem was my truck exceed the 150k limit. My truck was slightly over the mileage. Cost was just under $1000 to repair. I walked out.I took it back to Kenny. He had it for a few day working diligently to find out the issue. Finally, he honestly said to drive the truck until something is clearly identified as the issue. He could not find the exact problem and did not want to unnecessarily charge me to rip apart the transmission.Note this.I tried to pay him. He did not take a dime.A week later my starter went. I took it directly to Kenny and he diagnosed it as the issue and had me out of there in a day. Very reasonable cost.I rarely recommend anyone to this much detail but I can honestly tell you that you can trust Kenny and Goodeal Transmission to repair your vehicle. Got on the phone Friday afternoon with them to set up an appointment for Monday morning. I was greeted kindly and informed that I could drop off my car anytime, and sure enough come Monday I drop off my car no problem. They inspected my car for a day, said that I could pick my car up anytime during business hours, I just had to call in advance. Very professional and courteous people!

Took both of our car there thinking we had transmission problems. Ken check both out, found out nothing wrong and charged us nothing. Great service. Would go back again. Great people.

I had to have it towed, Kenny (the owner)called me within the hour to let me know it got there. He explained everything to me step by step. Good deal is the way to go. Right on the white Horse Pike in hammonton. Had 6 transmission codes pop up on my GF 2005 elantra. He was fast and on point with his diagnosis. Cheapest transmission issue fix ive ever heard of! Good honest people! Will be bringing my car here for any transmission issues in the future!

Do not go here!!!!! My father brought his car in to have the transmission rebuilt back in April of 2019 and was given a 1 year warranty. He had to bring the car back to him 3 times because the transmission kept failing and he was being charged to replace the parts and in total spent $2900. The last time he brought the car to him he was told his alternator was bad and would cost him $1,000 to replace. We knew this sounded like a lot so we took it to another shop and found out the alternator was fine, the valve body that was put into it was never programmed and caused the transmission to get stuck between 1st gear and reverse which caused damage in the transmission and it needs to be rebuilt again. Ken is now voiding the warranty because someone else “worked” on the car after he misdiagnosed it and to told my dad that he had done him favors and given him parts which is untrue because he has the receipts of paying for them. My father asked if Ken could help him out at all with the cost of having the transmission rebuilt again and he was told no. So now my father is out another $2500, but will now going to DARE automotive and will not be using the services of this shop again!

Kenny and Jason went above and beyond to repair my transmission at a very reasonable price, in a short time frame. You can tell they care about their customers and treat everyone with respect, doing business the right way. I highly recommend to anyone looking for transmission work or general car repair in the area. They will make you feel more like a family member than a customer. Will definitely be back!

Had my truck for 2 days and told me it was a break code. I took my truck to my mechanic and it has 2 solenoid codes.***Im not removing my review becuase I brought my truck to hammonton first and then was referred to the Pleasantville location where they are properly fixing my vehicle

Saved me $1000s its been hard to find a trust worthy auto body and mechanic since my Foster Dad Carmen Scordo past away but on a emergency need I called Good deal and needed A fuel pump then a few months later Clutch then the entire Clutch assembly and dropping the tranz made me nervous since my baby is a 1980 F250 five speed but bam had it done super fast knowing I had no other car and my job my truck was a must then just two days ago my brakes gave out and they picked her up and had back to me by close of day at shop for I had house clean out to do. Papa Scordo would be proud of my choice. But people you know Papa Scordo wasnt the cheapest but did flawless work.
