I think they also do Western Union St the customer service Desk. They have a Coinstar change redemption center and they rent Rug Doctor carpet cleaners and chemicals

I dont know whats going on with this store but going down hill imo. I bought some red bell peppers today. Got home and cut one open and its full of mold. Tried to call them and let them know so they could check their stock... But like every time I call the store no one ever answers. They are also constantly sold out of the alcohol I drink but every other grocery store in town has it. Sad because I even work here as a teenager and it wasnt like this. Im leaving this updated review because no one can answer the phone.

Wish WD would allow patrons to go out the same door they came in. COVID restrictions have been lifted so not sure of the door policy. WD app is very slow and the fact that 10$off doesnt apply unless you spend 80$ No offense WD but I like saving money on groceries and use the store only for last minute items. Just saying..

The store was great, but the cashier was eating potato chips while ringing the customer before me. Then she over charged me $4.34 for some steamed shrimp that I was buying.

Sub par shopping experience. Very expensive compared to other grocery chains in the area. The lines were long and moving slowly. Perhaps I caught them on a bad day. I would only go here again for their frozen food selection. Nothing else seemed notable.

I usually choose this store over Walmart & Rouses. Today after making a quick in & out, I get home, get the kids settled & start dinner, only to realize I dont have my ground beef. Call the store, its there but I have to come back with receipt. Let them know Im home with 5 kids & the stove is on & Ive already begun dinner. I asked if I can send a picture of the receipt with my husband (including date & time) so that when he gets off he could pick it up for me. The answer is no. Why not? Its not like I left it there on purpose. Someone was bagging my food & this is THEIR MISTAKE. This is irritating & inconvenient 🙄

Brittany the bakery manager is awesome, works very hard at her job an to please every singe customer, yall made a good choice in promoting Dorie Thiele daughter as Dorie retired, she was the best in the district. I know she taught her daughter well.

Always have a pleasant visit at Winn-Dixie. Shelves stay stocked. Staff always nice and friendly with the small town vibe. The deals are great. I love when they do the buy one get one free deals. Store is always clean. Bring a jacket though. Its always cold in there.

If youre looking for frozen yogurt, Winn Dixie is the place for variety. And the prices are great. I found other great things on sale.

Better meat selection, quality and quantity than Walmart. Cleaner as well with helpful employees who r visible and available for assistance. Regular and beneficial sales as well.

This is a small feeling home town grocery store in the middle of Hammond. I love this place, the prices arent the cheapest, but its such a better experience than going to Wally world.

Love the Winn Dixie in Hammond, Louisiana. They have the best Birthday cakes, best decorated, best tasting, & best deli workers ever. All the staff are great, could not ask for better people or service. Prices are a great value for someone on a budget too.

Winn Dixie is an old name. My grandma shopped at Winn Dixie many years ago.

Normally this is a wonderful store, but todays experience has stained its otherwise good reputation. It is a busy Friday night. I write this in line. There are eight people in line, and only one register open. Employees who are here are more concerned that the items are fronted and the floors are waxed rather than assisting customers with their purchase. With a multitude of other stores nearby, this is not acceptable. Will definitely reconsider before coming back in the evening.

Its ok not as good as some of the other stores...never consistent with things in store...must not know how or when to order...managers are mean looking also...

I like Winn-Dixie but I have to watch sales to get the most out of my shopping dollar. I know that membership save you as opposed to the non-member prices but I wish they would do away with it altogether. Still I have always liked the very helpful store employees and the atmosphere at their stores. Over the years my favorite slogan is still, Winn-Dixie, The Beef People! Easier for me to shop here than Wal-Mart and I like that too.

I enjoy shopping here, it is always clean and well stocked. The only issue is checkout, not many registrars opened.

Great cashiers. You MUST check the expiration dates on yogurt/eggs/milk and cheese. Produce is a hit or a miss but now that Im aware my shopping experience is easy. Management has never helped after my complaints but cashiers are great and have had managers offer to help bag my groceries. Its like this everywhere in hammond though. Just depends on your grocery needs.

I went into this Hammond Winn Dixie last night about 7pm, on Dec. 6,2017. Went in to get items for soup. I stopped at the bakery and met Ashley. This young lady has a very welcoming personality and smile. I ended up ordering 24 cupcakes for my sons class, since it would be his birthday that Tuesday. It was a truly refreshing experience to have someone take their time out for you, in such a way, that you are now smiling through out your shopping experience in a grocery store. Normally, we just run in and run out without appreciating the hard workers. HERES MY SHOUT OUT TO ASHLEY IN THE BAKERY!! YOU ARE TRULY APPRECIATED FOR BEING SUCH A GREAT PERSON AND EMPLOYEE! Yogurt/milk/bread is always expired. Like.. weeks past expiration date. Filled out at least 20 online surveys letting them know and nothing has changed. I just started putting all the expired stuff on the floor so people look. Cashiers are awesome AF though. Always funny and friendly. Walmart is equally expired.
