We bought a livingroom set paid cash they told us the earliest delivery date would be 9/17/20 which was almost 2 weeks from the date we paid..comes 9/17 we called to see what time they was delivering it,the response was between 4-7pm ..7pm they still hadnt delivered we call the store,was assured they would bring it...they did not! Horrible customer service.

This place is very Unprofessional I didnβt receive my furniture they tried to piece together a bed to give me after 3 months of waiting I ask for a refund only to get the run around and constantly lied to itβs been 3 weeks and all they can tell me is my check must of got lost in the mail I do not recommend and shop with them
We were helped by a young lady who was very informative and helpful while showing us around. The store has a lot of nice decor and a wonderful selection given the low prices. Was satisfied and will be back.

Everything I asked for or wanted was either discontinued or on backorder smh the only thing I found was this sofa the bump bed is dicountined the lamps discontinued the bedroom set i wanted discontinued its like the whole store is discontinued or clearance only a handful of things regular price and wasnt to my taste

Terrible experience. Staff just standing around and an overall lack of friendliness. As we were leaving a young lady approached us and asked if she could help. To be fair, she was very friendly. I didnβt see her when we walked in so Iβm guessing she was on a break. She did check on an item for us but to be honest I would never shop there again. I would giveher 5 stars personally but only 1 for the store overall.
I wasnt harassed when I went in. They said let them know if I needed anything or had any questions. Ive been to several furniture stores scouting out pieces and this particular location actually seem to have an eclectic selection unlike all the other mainstream selections.
Horrible experience with this company. Placed an online order about a month and a half ago for a sectional to be delivered. When purchasing expected delivery in 2 weeks. Never received a call to schedule delivery. Contacted both stores weekly for a delivery and it was always the same excuse that they never received it. Recieved an email with another excuse and I replied it was unacceptable. After a month and a half finally got a delivery date of June 5. Scheduled time off work for delivery never recieved a call or no one showed up. Took off of work for nothing. June 6 called in the morning expressing what happened and the unconfirmed and frustration I have had. The order was taken to a manager and was told I would be getting a call. 4pm no call so I called back and was told to contact the hammond store so I did. Still same excuse oh we recurve an order but we dont know if its yours we will have to wait until Monday. I expressed how frustrated I was getting and was told that if I didnt receive it by Wednesday they would issue a full refund like it was done kind of compensation for my troubles. Worse experience ever with any company
Excellent service, great prices, low pressure environment, friendly customer service, and overall a pleasant experience. We shopped other places, but we couldnt find the low price with really nice quality mattress anywhere else. We also explored the stores furniture and they have a nice variety, so I recommend checking Funiture Mart out.
Last week April 22nd I purchased a new trundle bed for my granddaughter and a new box spring and mattress for myself. I was told that day that it would be delivered Saturday the 25th no one showed, then I get a call saying it would be delivered Wednesday, No show again. I get a call with another apology promising it would be delivered today which is Friday the 1st of May.what I failed to say in the beginning was I purchase this bedroom set to be assembled in my house I paid extra for it if not for that I would have picked it up I have a full size pickup truck anyway to delivery men get here and say they can only bring it to the doorstep. That someone else would have to come put it together because of the coronavirus. so after talkin they say for an additional charge of $20 per box paid to them cash they would install it which they did and also an additional $20 to bring in my box spring and mattress. Upon completion they come to me I paid them I look at the bed it looks wonderful I shake his hand and he leaves then I go back in the room and I pull out the bottom drawers which there are three and guess what there is no bottoms in two of the three drawers I cannot believe they would do that and not bring it to my attention I am very upset about this purchase and the service I have receivedI did pay extra for delivery and assembly to the company. How can their employees assemble a bed without to draw bottoms and not tell me I trusted them anyway enough said.Update furniture Mart made everything right I am very happy and satisfied

The service was horrible and no assistance what so ever. And when I asked about the twin beds they told me where they was and as I went to look at them nobody still assistance me in the prices or nothing. I was told just look on the things in front of the beds and it will tell me if it comes in twin. And as I was getting ready to walk out they had nerve to asked me was there anything I like. I told them no bc I disgusted by the service.

I purchased a complete bedroom set. Head board, foot board, side rails, mattress. box spring, 2 night stands, chest, & dresser w/mirror all for $1800interest free for 12 mths. What a great deal!!! The Hammond staff was sonice & helpful that i ended up returning & purchased a sectional.Very satisfied customer!

Before I go into detail of my experience with Furniture Mart in Hammond, Louisiana β I βmustβ give GREAT THANKS to the store manager Gabriel, and Sale Representatives Mila and Aurora for their βExceptional Customer Servicesβ. I truly enjoy my shopping experiences at this store. They are very helpful, they listen to my wants and needs, and most of all β They ALL have βPeople Skillsβ. Thatβs a βMUSTβ to work in Sales. This is not my first time buying from this store. Last month in October, I purchased a sectional sofa. There was a situation with the sofa, but Gabriel handle it. Now, what Iβm about to discuss is βNO FAULTβ to them. This is all Corporate and the Warehouse (Logistic Department). On 17 November 2019, I went to Furniture Mart and βPaid in Fullβ for a red twin bed with mattress for my 5 years-old son. It took me nearly 2 hours to finally decide β but with the help of Mila and Aurora β I was able to narrow it down to the right one for my son. I wanted my son to have a brand-new bed before Thanksgiving.Today, 26 November 2019, my sonβs furniture arrived at 2:40pm. As the two delivery guys were assembling my sonβs bed, I started to inspect. Both mattress (box springs too) were not in manufactured seal plastic wrapped. The plastic wrap covering both mattresses were dirty and worn out. The mattress had discolorations on them, and I could tell that it was βUSEDβ. When I slapped against the mattress with my hand, dusts came out. To seal the mattress, they used clear plastic tape. When the delivery guys started to take the bed parts out of the boxes, I noticed that the boxes looked reusable. Some of the parts were already attached to each other. One part looked like it was hammered into placed so that it would not come a part. In addition, I noticed several scratches and dents on the frames. I told the delivery guys that this furniture is βUSEDβ. The only thing they both said β βWe are here to deliver and set up the furniture.β I thought to myself βWOW!β βWhat the hell is going on here?β I took several pictures of the mattresses and the bed frames that were delivered to my home that βWERE SUPPOSED TO BE BRAND-NEWβ. If I noticed the furniture were USED, I know the delivery guys noticed that too. I told them that I am rejecting this order and will go to the store to get this rectified. After the delivery guys left my home with the damaged goods, I left my home shortly afterwards. I called the store while en-route to discuss what was delivered to my home. The person I spoke to was Aurora. I explained my problems to Aurora in details. After my conversation with Aurora, she ensured me that she will call me right back after she communicate my issues to the vice president. As promised, Aurora did call back. She informed me that the vice president will do a refund in the form of a check, but it will take 10 to 14 days to received it. I advised to Aurora to contact this vice president and tell him that I will not wait 10 to 14 days for a check. I need my money βnowβ so I can go somewhere else to find and purchase a bed for my son. Furniture Mart have my money. I need my money back because itβs no fault to me for what happened and βNOWβ itβs very Inconvenient for me and my family. By that time, I made it to the store. I spoke with Mila and Aurora about the situation. Aurora called and emailed again but no one returned. My 1 STAR rating is NOT a reflection on the staff at the Hammond location, but a portrait of a Manger and Supervisor that is regarded as manifestation of lacking pride in duty and customer service. The delivery guys will pop up to your house without calling they steal money and the company protects them. I will never do business with them again!
Love the furniture but we have had nothing but problems. We bought a living room set October 2015 along with the Guardsman warranty. About 3 months after we had it we sat on the love seat (just didnt sit there very much to notice sooner) and it felt like we were sitting on a hard lump. We looked at it and noticed that the cushion appeared to be bunched up. Filed a claim with Guardsman who later told us it was not under warranty that we should contact the store. I went in person and spoke to Mandy and she said guardsman should be responsible but she would check with her manager and would let us know if there was anything that could be done. I never heard anything else. In the meantime, our dog accidentally got out while we were on vacation and scratched the recliner. Again, I filed a claim with Guardsman. I actually never heard from them regarding the claim but when I didnt I called the Hammond store and asked about it. They requested that I email pictures of the damaged pieces. After not hearing anything for several weeks I called the store again to see what had been done. At no time was I ever contacted in response to any of my concerns. I was told by Mandy that it showed that a representative said when he saw it that it was normal wear and tear. AT NO TIME DID ANYONE INSPECT OUR FURNITURE. I explained that no one ever contacted us to inspect our furniture that we both work and someone would have to be home to let them in to see the damaged pieces. I was told that there were gas records where someone came to our home on several attempts. I explained that they may have driven to our home BUT NO ONE EVER INSPECTED OUR FURNITURE. I do understand that some things are under warranty and some are not. I guess it bothers me the most that I was never contacted on the status of anything and also that someone claimed they saw our furniture and did not. The loveseat is so uncomfortable that no one can ever sit on one side of it. We saw more furniture at a very reasonable price that we would probably have purchased but after the service, we have received, or lack thereof, we will not be purchasing anything else.

The workers were nice & friendly. Delivery was great & they even brung the items upstairs for me. My issue is, ive only had my bed set for less than 2 weeks and the metal rail under it has cracked & broken. Im scared to sleep on it even though I am very little. I understand that there are delivery times and such, but there should be accesories like these in the store for emergencies like this. Or maybe even a rush order because a bed is a necessity & its a huge problem if I cant sleep in my own bed for days.

I hate giving bad reviews or saying negative things about any one or companies in general, unless things does get weary.The sales manager (I believe), the folks in general from the store was great! Helpful and friendly, just a little doubtful about me and my wife bc we are young couple. Great prices and quality stuff (if you know also what and how to choose). However, our experiences with delivery was pretty bad. The guys did not want to bring our bedroom set upstairs bc the stairs wouldnt fit. Sure, there was a risk to it bc it is tight, but they didnt even try, and they didnt even looked like they wanted to work (maybe too tired already?). Also, no attempt in helping us in anyway possible. There were more than 5 boxes and they only brought about 2 upstairs because I HAD to convince them. And only one box (the headboard) was the risky one that they werent willing to try I guess. Really? So, I just signed the papers and let this kids go.Guess what? My wife and I brought upstairs those heavy (150lb+) boxes, and assembled ourselves. Including the big piece. It was a struggle, but we got it. Shame on those two men that was too lazy to even try. Should get a different job to be honest.Another thing that would make things easier for customers, Please, give at least a 2-5 hours time frame or time block! I dont think that this is asking a lot. Its frustrating to take off the WHOLE day of work just for a 10-30min delivery, without even assembling. My company is able to give a time frame to customers using simple methods that are 70-95% accurate even after all the unexpected within 1-3 hours arrival time frame. Why cant you guys? Come on step up your game on this area of customer service! Then yall will rock even more. I missed the second delivery due to work hours (a piece came broken, but the store made right by attempting to send a new one), and today i took the Whole afternoon off for NOTHING. They never showed up or even called to explain.Thats sucks. I wish the owner of this franchise would get the same type of service for he or she to be aware and step up their game. I hope the folks from Furniture Mart care to call me this weekend or Monday to let me know again when the piece can be delivered and with a Time Frame Please.
