Ive been a few times and I have to say that the staff is friendly and informative. Its a place to go to hang out and play games with friends and a Cafe to help curb your hunger when the need arises without having to leave the building. Its a little out of site but is located behind the Sonic if you need a landmark to find it. You can go there to play Magic The Gathering, AD&D, and many other games. I recommend this location for your gaming and dinning pleasure.
Great service and friendly staff. Only issue is they often dont get all their weekly delivery. Every month or so at least one floppy is missing from our pull folder cause it wasnt delivered. Also they seem to have a high employee turn over rate. As soon as you get to know one of them, their gone.
Generally a decent place, but I wouldnt recommend it. They dont focus on customers in the actual store, mostly focused on the people playing games and I honestly didnt feel welcomed. As well as my partner bought two comics( not knowing he already had them) went to go return them. The first time the employee didnt know how to do returns, and then we literally had to wait two days for the manager to be there to do the transaction. All to be told that they dont do returns! Absolutely no signs or any warning that all sales are final! They are great at games, but lack customer service.
The staff is really nice, and has a variety of comics, trading card games, and collectibles. It also worth noting it is where the Hammond Pokemon League meets. They keep it very clean and neat also.
Need your weekly comics? This place is always on top of things. Get your pull folder and enjoy awesome comics. Place for tabletop games as well.
The staff are super friendly but to call it a cafe is a pretty big stretch. Food items are a various convenience store type junk items and then a keurig for tea or coffee. Great for playing WarHammer or Magic the Gathering but thats pretty much it.
The people were very friendly and answered all my questions. One of my favourite comic shops.
Its a nice easy place to enjoy your comics and friendly conversation.
The best part, besides the comics, is chatting/complaining about common interests with the other customers. The store has a board game demo table. I ended up buying the one I tried out.
I like it there. It doesnt feel like a salespitch. Waltz in, hope the place isnt having a crouded super game night, if its nice and empty, grab magic cards, place on table, and sort. If its crouded. prepare for war. Because they have!
The black guy(i know its wrong to identifying people by their skin tone, but he didnt give a name or wear a name tag) behind the counter was so condescending and rude to me and my friend we asked to be helped after 5 minutes of just standing by the magic cards then he finally comes over amd helps us while rolling the eyes. extremely disappointed. he then tried to ask for my friends name and insulted him for spelling his name too fast and then when my friend asked for a trash can he simply shrugged his sholders as if the establishment didnt have one. we are not coming back the environment seems to be unwelcome to newcomers. i know it sounds a little over the top and even wasnt that big of a deal but when it comes to shops where you rely on the costumer to WANT to be there we didnt feel welcome at all.
I loved it. Very polite and nice!
The people are some of the nicest you will ever meet. The staff know there comic books.
Very friendly environment. Could spend hours their looking at the comics, playing games with people in room for social gaming, and just talking to staff.
Not only a great store but the general manager is a sexy beast.
