We had to get some blocks so they was in garden area . The lady with braids was awesome. She made things happened. Wonderful I love when the employee goes out of their way to help. If half of the employees did this, would also be fantastic!

Home Depot has been a wonderful addition to the Hammond area for building supplies and home maintenance needs. The tool rentals are reasonable and the selection is good. Pro desk staff is helpful and knowledgeable. The departments are staffed with friendly people willing to help.

Well this is the second time Ive had a problem with the front end supervisor, the first time they REFUSED to honor a sale price that was advertised by mistake, their mustake, this price was all over the web and all the store manager said was, well, I dont know why its advertised like that at that price, well I dont really care who or why it was advertised like that I just want the price that it says it is, well, that store manager said, sorry but I cant do it, so today, a front end supervisor is telling other employees that I am stealing because there hand machine didnt ring up ONE item, so I complain to the store manager, a different manager and he says, sorry that happened to you, WHAT???? so I wont be back to the Hammond location

1 week after IDA. We got there after the doors was closed for the day (closed at 6) Typically when that happens you get a look along with a gesture implying that theres nothing they can do. NOT here, NOT today. My husband told her he needed a chainsaw and was ready to beg for dear life. She kindly told him they closed at 6 today. He repeated he just needs a chainsaw and she just smiled and let him in. This lady was clearly closed yet she had let 6 different people in after my husband. EVERYONE needed something storm related. Its people like her that gives me a little extra hope in the human kind. She came through today for her customers and I dont know her name but Ill forever be grateful! Thank you Home Depot employee giving Home Depot a good name and excellent feedback!!

I went in today looking for an item that I saw online but I found this garment rack instead. I am very pleased with its quality, stability and ease of assembly. The price of $59.98 wasnt too bad either!

I wanted to thank Cassandra in customer service at the Hammond location for being the most helpful out of any customer service individual I have spoken to over the past several days. I am out of state trying to help a family member in need after Ida. We have special circumstances after a hurricane, modern technology and systems do not always work, and she went above and beyond to help and assist. I had tried several other attempts with different locations and different customer service and she was above all others. I was very disappointed with so many whoo treated me as if I was a waste of time or simply claimed they could not do it. I see in another review she did the same level of service for another individual. Its time she got a raise.

This is a well stocked store. Fairly new construction. Clean with helpful and courteous staff.I was able to find a water well jet pump in stock on the shelf after not being able to locate one in any store for miles around.

Normally have a great experience. Today not so much. Had a picture of what I needed. Asked for help 3 times. A guy finally walked through after 30 minutes, the isle and it was his and he didnt have a clue what I needed. Told me to go to Lowes.

I like the convenient location of this Home Depot, right by the mall. I cant say anything too bad about this place. I personally like Lowes better. This was also one of the places to stop accepting cash during the pandemic. Those 2 reasons are why I give only 4 stars.

This is one of my favorite stores. They have all you need for home repairs or add-ons. They even have call out services for repairs to be done for you if you cant get your project done yourself. Thats great when youre busy!

The staff was willing to take time to answer our questions. They helped to put our purchase in my truck.

Called for some prices on two items at first he didnt know what I was asking about then he was silent for a minute and he told me the price for the sheet rock sliding was $43 dollars 2 piece of plywood was the same as Lowes but the sliding was less then $10.00. I understand they are all short of work but giving the wrong price not good

I have been sitting at curbside after having surgery for over an hour. I have called, text and went in while in pain. My order is paid for and they said a half hour, still waiting

New, Clean, organised, great staff. Josh in plumbing was particularly excellent at helping me figure out my unique needs.On a side note, I would hope that Home Depot would start carrying. 4 foot hand probes in the store. Both metal and fiberglass. I have a habit of running through them and I have to order them from Jackson.

The extension cords were $50 for the cheaper ones after the hurricane

We found that its a little more expensive than Lowes but the employees and service was awesome. They actually ask us if we needed anything instead of having to chase someone down for help.

Paid for chairs on credit card and the cancelled my order. I have not got my credit yet. they gave me to the 5/12/21 to pick up the chairs. I wont pay or shop there.

First of all the guy at customer service who came to help the cashier was awesome. Then Dominick in the back near rugs loaded my cart and offered to help me get this huge rug in my car. He had it loaded in seconds. I love THIS Home Depot!

We bought everything to make our own tool box for various do it yourself projects at our house.

Lots of stock and friendly associates. Usually you’re on a hunt to find an employee but it’s different here. I like the way they set up the aisles to find items. For example, a screwdriver is on aisles 5, bay 8. It makes it easier for directionally challenged people like myself. This will now be my go to store for home improvement. The prices seem to be on par with the local average.

Well went in to get 2 different items well multiple of each but after going to the front and asking for assistance 4 times I was still waiting do I decided to call and ask for a manager in which at this time was told some one would b there and finally Mark showed up. Was fit to b tired by then

My mom and I went here to buy some wood for shelving. Every employee we encountered greeted us and asked if we need help. The person in the lumber department was SUPER helpful and friendly. I think his name was Marvin or Martin. The customer service he provided was better than any Ive ever experienced at a home improvement store. Pleasantly surprised!

Homedepot and lows to be are pretty similar. I think sometimes homedepot has better section but not a big enough difference to choose one or the other.

Waited for 20 mins on someone to help me get a carpet that was supposedly in stock. Then found out machine was broken so couldnt get it. Ended up at Lowes.

Literally 1 checkout (including self checkout) that you can pay cash at. Of course, they find the rudest person employed by home depot to work at it! When I asked if there was a checkout that takes cash she says Im the only one so youre going to wait Been waiting 20 mins and shes still lost in space. Wow. This folks is why I love lowes!

Not a lot to describe or explain; what do you need, theyve got it! Between Home Depot and Lowes its mostly a matter of Convenience of location or possibly a sale. There are some items though that I prefer one of these stores over the other, but seldom as mostly they share comparable quality, availability and price. The staff here is courteous and helpful, no negatives; its a good place to shop for DIY and the contractor.

They delivered my refrigerator and i unpacked it and it has 7 ding in bottom and they will not fix or replace the worst service ever.

This store was clean and well organized. I even had a cashier offer to help me scan over $350 of stuff IN THE SELF CHECK OUT LINE! Thats some real southern hospitality in the great state of Louisiana! Go Saints! and Go Home Depot!
