Waited for about 25 min for an employee to acknowledge our presence in computer dept. No luck. My wife was ready to spend $. We left without even the two employees standing at the exit saying a word or making eye contact as we walked out. Im sorry to say Jeff Bezos got our business instead. Not the first time thats happened.

Great Service at the Hammond Best Buy. Awesome customer service with Jacob. He worked on my request until he resolved the issue. It wasnt easy, but Jacob persevered. He even stayed past his work schedule to finish the job for me. I am totally impressed. Such a nice and smart young man.
This store is a joke. No one ever answers the phone. Geek squad is also a joke. If anyone reads this, do a little googling. All Star Computers is the best around for all your PC and cell phone repair needs. Stop wasting time and money with Best Buy and geek squad.

Had to go in with my 2 littles.They were excited.Greeted by a woman at the front door, she asked if I needed help, I told her I needed a car charger, she kinda rolled her eyes and pointed to one of the aisles furthest away from me and then quickly dismissed me and sat back down at the front door kiosk.I walked down the aisle I presumed was the one she had vaguely pointed to. I had no idea what I was looking for honestly, my ADHD kicked in and I got anxious.I then proceeded to wander around the large store aimlessly, with my 2 littles in tow, trying to figure out what I wanted to buy at Best Buy.I needed some guidance.I looked for someone but there was nobody. I was tired of walking around this place so I decided to just leave.Finally, on my way out of the store, I saw an employee but it was too late at that point.I didnt say bye to the slightly rude girl at the front door.I guess I feel like I was ignored.I would understand if they would have been busy but they werent. It was a Wednesday evening and I parked in the very front.

Do not recommend. My fiancé went in to buy a camera. Salesperson ordered it because it wasn’t in stock. A week went by and we hadn’t heard anything so he called customer service and they said the salesperson never ordered it but instead rung it up as a sale as if he walked out the door with the camera that day. He went up there and they fixed the issue and waived the expedited shipping because we needed it for this weekend for Father’s Day. Just got a notification that shipping has been delayed. If the process had been done right the first time we’d have it by now and pictures could’ve been taken for his first Father’s Day. Bad business and so disappointed in the whole situation. This location will not get a sale from us again.
Honestly, its always nice visiting Best Buy. They always have what Im looking for and the employees are always nice and helpful. The store is also clean, never see anything unorganized.

Terrible customer service.. had an insurance tv replacement that 2 times they set up a delivery date and never showed up, never called me, nor text or e-mail..I have called them 5 times now and still nothing. No TV and no idea if or when I will get it. Best Buy sucks
Bryana is a well of knowledge about Samsung products, assisting me in the purchase of my new Galaxy Note 20. She was very polite, set my new phone up, and even showed me helpful features on my new phone. Jeff in home theater taught me a great deal about newer TVs, the best features for different viewing activities, and sizing for areas. My next TV purchase will definitely be from him and Best Buy. The staff at this location deserve recognition. Management was also very engaged and present on the floor.
Being a Best But Elite member for many years I will drive to Covington La to avoid having to go to Best Buy in Hammond La. The people are unhelpful if you can get one to help you. Of course the 4 people playing on their cell phones in the phone and accessories department will page someone for you who never shows up! Trying to speak to a manager was impossible! In a day and time when I can get anything Best Buy has from Amazon for cheaper I believe I will finally give up on Best Buy!!!!!!! Horrible Horrible service and no longer the Best Buy!
Bought an iPad years ago. last Thursday went and bought another iPad and wanted the stuff of my old iPad transferred onto my new iPad, salesperson had me go see The Geek Squad Geek Squad said I had to make an appointment made an appointment Tuesday I went for my appointment to have the stuff transfer from my old iPad to new iPad and tell me that I had to pay $100 why didnt they tell me this before

By far worst experience Ive ever had at best buy. Associates acted like I was a huge bother and interrupted there personal phone call. Then when I finally got help was told that they didnt have a single car stereo in the entire building. Wont be going back ill shop amazon for my electronics.

It felt like the store was missing half its stock. It took me picking out three separate TVs before I was able to get one in stock. The first 2, I would have had to order and wait 2 weeks for my order to come in.

Would not answer the phone so I drove there. Warranty work on car alarm is no longer available at the location it was installed. To get an appointment in Austin or San Antonio it was 2 weeks. Will no longer do business with best buy.

To whom ever, I recently Lost my estranged wife suddenly. My children’s phone service was under her provider. Ms. Bryana with Best Buy of Hammond La, by far went above and beyond to help me get their phones switched to my provider! She was very helpful and I recommend if you need help with anything phone related for Verizon see Bryana.
Stopped in while on a work trip to check out the video game selection. Most of the video games were unorganized and had NO pricing or dividers. Product was slim (as is with most retailers due to COVID) but no attempt has been made to improve presentation. Just looked unorganized and nothing like my local Best Buy. The only worker who acknowledged me was the door greeted as I was leaving.
I have not been impressed with the best buy in Hammond. Every time I go in, I find the employees either huddled together talking. Or on their phones. It has been my experience that the staff seems uninterested in helping customers find what they are looking for. I try to find my electronic needs at other stores.
The Geek Squad was very helpful and efficient.

Went there for an upgrade on my mothers and brothers phone, which was way overdue. But the person who helped them David was very informative and I was impressed how he handled all of my mothers questions in stride even when she would reworded the same question. He helped her pick out the best phone for her price point that met all of her wants and needs. It was quick and stress free!

They have the WORST customer service!!! I went there to buy a freezer and after purchasing it they loaded it up in the back of my truck with an Actual Hole in the side of it! So I told them to unload it and give me one without a hole, they said it was the last one in stock. I asked for a refund then so I could go elsewhere and buy one because I was out of town and It was an emergency. They said they gave me a refund on my card so I left the store and went to another store and purchased one. After returning home there was no refund on my card and I tried calling and no one would answer the phone at the Hammond louisiana store where I purchased it. I have been calling EVERYDAY multiple times and sitting on hold for 30 minutes or so waiting for someone to answer the phone. Its been a few weeks and NO money and NO answer of the phone. I have yet to talk to anyone!!! I live out of town so its not like I can just run back to the store! I have called every phone number that I can find online for corporate offices and no one can help me. So I guess they decided they needed my money more then I did!!! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE store that I will never spend another dime at!!!
First I want to say thank you D for giving us a great experience. Even though we was waiting on the other worker he walk by just in time cause I was ready to walk out the door but like I said he came right on time and he made sure we a a good deal on the TVs. Greatest customer service I ever had.
The two times Ive gone the items I needed were out of stock (they were small, niche items). The staff was extremely helpful though, so it was still a pleasant experience.

As I was on my way out without buying anything, the store assistant manager, Malarie, stopped me to ask if I had found everything. I hadnt so she brought me back over to the pc department and helped me find what I needed. I appreciate that she was able to read the disappointment written all over my face and steer me in the direction of what I needed. She also took it a step further and verified it was compatible with my device.

The manager at this location was wonderful. I had to swap out my Beats because the color was not as stated. I travel for work and someone had stolen mine but I love them so much that I ordered some the same day and shipped them to my hotel. Due to my travel dates, I was unable to get to a store within 14 days. Another location didnt offer any help. On my way out of town, I stopped in Hammond. Problem solved!!

This location has been improving over the past couple years. Some of their stock is unacceptably low for certain items. Went in to find a nice and expensive Bluetooth speaker and the options were surprisingly limited. There were only a couple higher end speakers and had a hard time just finding the price tag on the shelves for them.

Today was the 3rd time we have made an hour trip to this Best Buy because of faulty PC computers purchased through them. Each time our only option has been to drop more money on a more high-end PC in the hopes that it will work properly, finally culminating in a nearly $1,600 purchase today. Geek Squad is very helpful, but they could not fix our problem, just recommend a new PC. The manager we spoke to was quite unhelpful, and remorseless about the fact that weve spent lots of time and money trying to buy a working PC. Dont think well be making any more major electronic purchases from BB any time soon.
Its a good place to see electronics in person, before you buy. If you get better offers mailed or online, be sure to bring proof with you. Associates wont know of these...

Has just gone down hill since they first opened years ago, much less in stock, and I usually no longer go in there. My husband wanted to see if they had something, otherwise I stopped going a few years ago.
I purchased a small fridge from Best Buy in Hammond, Louisiana. No problem buying it, but now I need to return because it arrived with a big dent in the side. It was $250. No one answers the phone at that location. I called the 1-800 number over an hour ago. Im still waiting for someone to call back. Best Buy has absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. They only give you 48 hours to set up a return. The fridge is too big for my car. I hate Best Buy. Not worth the $20 in savings. Buyer beware.Never again for this buyer!

I can honestly say Ive been to a lot of places but hardly any can I say have always been positive experiences like this one. If you looking for electronics computers gadgets appliances are some assistance when it comes to technical support this is the store for you.
