Everyone we encountered was friendly, had a good sense humor and excellent rapport. I got a little nit picky over the safety of my daughters bike, after repairs were made. The guys were totally cool with double checking my concerns and were equally interested in making sure her bike was safe to ride, as well as educating her on taking better care of her bike.

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff, rebuilt my 14yr old cross bike and tuned up my wifes bike. Quick turnaround, reasonable prices. Keep up the strong work, Ill definitely be back.

I went in expecting to ask how long it would be till we could get a bike that my wife really wanted. They happened to have something really close that showed up the day before. She took a quick lap, loved it and I went back to pick it up the next day after they went over it. They made some adjustments that she noted on her ride and addressed them.I was so happy with their service, I left with her bike and a bike for my son. I will never buy a bike from a place that sells groceries or TVs again. Very satisfied, very courteous staff. Even though we were not buying a $6,000 bicycle. Highly recommended.

Havent been to the shop in Hagerstown, but I was on the GAP trail heading to Pittsburgh, loaded down with a ton of gear for a long tour, when I got a bad flat and couldnt figure out how to fix it. My only spare tube was also a previous flat. One of the guys from this shop stopped on the trail to help, and gave me his own spare tube and inflated it for me so that I could make it to the nearest bike shop, several miles away. Because of his help I made it to Pittsburgh the next day and Im still on my way west. Thanks!

The sales staff were very courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable. I purchased a new Trek bike and within minutes they installed the kickstand, water bottle holder, and checked the brakes and derailleur. I have purchased a few bikes from them and they have always impressed me. Great people and products!

I am very happy with my new bike! I had been having problems with a popular, highly rated bike which would not shift easily and would give out in the middle of an uphill climb which was not only a nuisance, but dangerous. Justin was going to replace my entire shifting system when he saw another problem: the bike didnt fit me right. He suggested another, older, better version of the brand in excellent shape. This is a better bike, with higher class shifting and best of all, it’s the perfect fit for me. It improved my riding dramatically, and now I am merrily and smoothly shifting up and down the Cotactin mountains without dying on hills and my average speed has increased. My maiden voyage netted 33 practically painless miles. I have not felt this happy or comfortable on a road bike in a long time.Justin set up a very fair trade for me with the bike that didn’t fit me well. He really knows bikes and put me on a something that both fits me and is a joy to ride. In addition, the service is very friendly, courteous, respectful, fair and prompt, despite pandemic slowdown due do demand and shortage of parts. They listen to your needs and know how to respond. This is one of the best bike shops I have ever been to in my entire (long) bicycle life and I highly recommend them. It was definitely worth the trip to Hagerstown and I will certainly come here again.

I brought in a wheel with broken spokes to be trued and spokes replaced. They replaced the spokes as requested, and they offered to do a free tune-up after ~50 miles. All good so far, though pricey at over $200. So I brought the wheel back a couple weeks later, and they noticed it hadn’t been trued properly, so asked to keep it (the guy who worked on my wheel had been let go, and they wanted to make sure it was safe) for another week. Annoying, but at least they wanted to correct their work. A week later, I pick it up and they ask me to pay $20 to cover some of the labor. That was a bit much, as it was their mistake in the first place! I said that, and they say, “how about $10?” which I agreed to just to end things, but in retrospect definitely should not have. Two months later, three spokes are again loose, and it turns out they didn’t coat the threads to stick them (which should be a common practice) and the wheel is out of true again. Heading to Mercury Cycles this week.

Such pleasant staff and no pressure service and sales. Thats what makes a great establishment and makes you want to go back again. Only feedback would be to reply a little more timely with facebook messenger. In this day and age people prefer messaging over calling. If you dont respond quick enough that gives them time to search for a product somewhere else online.

These guys are great. Fixed my son’s brakes while we were on vacation and got it done fast and for the least amount. Also cleaned up his bike and put air in the tires. I highly recommend Hub City.

I highly recommend this place. The customer service is excellent and they fixed my bike for a really good price. They ordered the part i needed and put it on for me. But what really stood out was the fact that on a day it was snowing and they were closing early they waited for me to get there so they could fix my bike before they closed. I really appreciated that. They went above and beyond what i would have expected.

What a great experience today! Stopped in to look for a mountain bike for my youngest son thinking price would be my concern since it was a” bike shop.” The salesman took his time, explained all the pros and cons without any pressure and his knowledge was over the top. Ok, being a Skeptic I then went to the usual stores to look at like bikes. What I found was off brand bike’s and sales personnel with little or no knowledge. However the price was not that far off from Hub City. To shorten my story I returned to Hub City and purchased the Trek bike I had looked at previously. The sales process was simple and the mechanic checked all working parts while I watched. There is something said about buying something from a business who Specializes In a product. This is one Christmas present that I know will work as it should from day one. To all at Hub City thanks for a great experience and I know my son will throughly enjoy his bike.

I just recently purchased a Trek Superfly for my son from Hub City Cycles. These guys are top notch! Wonderful experience! We needed quick release hubs on my sons bike and they switched them out while we waited and also installed a water bottle cage and speedometer. I noticed when I got home that they even installed a blendr integral mount for the speedometer which makes a really clean install and was much appreciated. We will be purchasing all our future bikes and equipment from Hub City Cycles. Thanks Hub City!

I had an amazing experience at Hub Cycles!! They blow all other bike shops out of the water with their customer service and awesome attitude. I had originally gone to Mercery Endurance cycles and they suck. They are unorganized and it seemed they had a pompous we are too cool attitude. I had dropped a bike off to be built and they told me it would be ready by Friday or Saturday, because there were 4 bikes in front of mine. I called Saturday afternoon because I hadnt heard from them and they told me it would be another week because there were 6 bikes ahead of me. Someones math was F$%led up ... and it wasnt mine, so I went there and picked up my bike and brought it to Hub City Cycles. The guys were cool and laid back, took care of me a d told me it would be ready by Friday. Wednesday rolls around and they called and said it was ready, 2 day ahead of schedule. They are awesome and I will return!!

Did not notify me for more than a week that my new bike was ready for pickup. First ride on the new bike front wheel was not properly balanced. Wobbling and rubbing alot. Sales person was great. I think the bike was a lemon from the factory. Everything else was good.

I found some broken spokes on my rear wheel before a bike ride this weekend. Took the broken wheel to Hub City and they had a new wheel in stock and put my old tire on the new wheel for free. This all happened in the 20 minutes right before they closed. My afternoon bike ride was saved! They made a great first impression, and I will definitely be going back.
