Eddie and Dave was very nice and patient with us to understand what they was doing to install our hot water heater, once done went over everything very kind in all manners.Also Rich had to come back out to turn on the breaker back on to the dryer, and he was so nice and understanding things do happen and people do forget get things like that, thanks again for your good serviceDaniel Mayer was polite and understanding he also advised us to think about getting a new furnace cause he wasnt for sure how long our current furnace was going to last and thats our only source of heat and so sending someone to talk about our options for a new one, thanks alot

Rich, the tech for Hagerstown Heating and Cooling came today along with his helper Daniel. They came to drain and clean out our hot water heater we purchased from them previously. It was time to have it drained and cleaned out. They were both very professional and courteous. They both wore their shoe booties the whole time they were in our home. We love that they did not leave one piece of dirt at our home! We highly recommend Hagerstown Heating and Cooling because and also their plumbing division because they are awesome! They always do excellent work, they are professional and never try to upsell. We are always extremely pleased with their work! When you need plumbing! A lot of people do not know they do plumbing. They are awesome at all your plumbing needs! We want to commend Rich and Daniel on their excellent service! We will always call Hagerstown Heating and Cooling for our plumbing needs as well as our Heating and Cooling needs as they put in our new AC unit and that is how we found out they do plumbing as well. Hagerstown Heating and Cooling are awesome from start to finish. The salesman came out took measurements for system we were looking for and then came back to sit down and explain all our options. We weren’t pressured in any way.The install was flawless! They arrived early and was down before 4 pm. Professional and courteous! They went the extra mile to wear boot coverings when they came inside to do work. They took the time to answer question completely. One little oops. A foot went through the drywall ceiling in the garage. They had their contractor out and it was repaired with in a week of install.Colin very knowledgeable and came back a week later to follow up on the install. I highly recommend HAGERSTOWN HEATING AND COOLING FOR HVAC NEEDS!

Contacted HHC to get a quote for replacing current (30yr old) AC system. Matt came out to do the quote and offered offered a number of options. He made several recommendations for upgrades but also showed us that we could apply for rebates from PE to help offset the cost. We got quotes from 3 other local providers and none of them offered the information about the rebate. Matt was cautious to not guarantee the rebates but was informative about the guidelines and we felt confident that we would qualify.First time, a contractor was on time the day of the install and despite the temperature his team never stopped, except for water and to keep changing their shirts. Matt also arranged for the insulation to be upgraded and weatherstripping to be installed. Each time, they were on time and worked so hard despite temps.Matt completed the forms for us for the rebates and just called this week to let us know we qualified for much more than what he had told us. It covered a little less than half the cost of all the work.I would call them again in a second for any work. Matt was by far one of the most professional individuals I have dealt with.

Rich was fantastic. He was very responsive and informed me the day before he wouldnt be able to get to our house as he had another job to finish that morning. He was very informative with our water heater issue. Unfortunately, the installation was done by non-professionals, most likely subcontractors. Rich informed me that the unit was dry fired without water being in the tank before the switch was flipped, causing a hole to be put in the tank element. This work was not covered by warranty and I had to pay the labor but it is what it is. We opted for the expansion tank to be installed as that was our initial plan anyway. Rich was very thorough in explaining what he did and also showed me where the main shutoff and water softener shutoff were. I was pleased with the work he did. We look forward to using them next year to check our pipes. Like I told him, I hope we dont have to call again for awhile otherwise lol.

Rich is awesome! We have had the misfortune of needing emergency plumbing help twice now, once for a flooded crawl space due to a failed sump pump, and just yesterday for a malfunctioning well pump. Rich responded quickly both times within minutes of our call, was very pleasant to work with throughout, and even went the extra mile to speak with the insurance company on our behalf to be sure they covered all damage that resulted from the flood. The quality of work, helpfulness, thoroughness and professionalism is hard to find, and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a plumber.

Eddie T from HHC has done work at my house twice, the first time installing a new hot water heater, the second was to repair a leaking toilet and to repair the stopper in the bathroom sink. Our motherboard was fried after the last storm and unfortunately our usual contracted AC and Heating company could not get to us in a quick manner. Thankfully, Daniel was available and came the same day I called. He quickly diagnosed the problem, noted that our system was still under warranty, and ordered the appropriate parts. Thankfully, the weather was tolerable for a couple of days, but couldnt be scheduled until three days later due to the weekend. Insert sweat beads. We were promptly scheduled and Daniel came earlier than expected. He fixed the problem and ta-dah we are back to comfortable temps. I was very unhappy with our current company, so I cancelled the contract and signed with Hagerstown Heating and Cooling. Daniel was professional, prompt, and super nice. The office staff was just as amazing. I am thankful that things worked out, and I would definitely recommend Daniel and his co-workers to anyone looking to have a great experience. Eddie was my serviceman and he repaired my gas hot water heater. He was very cordial and explained everything to me in layman’s terms. The only negative I have to say is my dad waited at my house for three hours and Eddie wasn’t able to get to my house until around 5:15-5:30.

I called first thing and they came out that day. Daniel found that my unit wasn’t working at all- he tried to fix the parts but that didn’t help so we did have to get a new unit. I’ve never had a ductless system but they walked us through it. Our main goal was we wanted the house to be cold. They answered all of our questions leading up and on installation day. Very nice and professional.

I had called at several plumbing services for a water pipe leaking outside of my house, but none of them available except Master Rich answered my call! He and his team arrived on time and got to work immediately. They fixed the leak and reconnected the pipe within 20 minutes. An issue developed with the outdoor septic pump on my property.I called this company on Friday afternoon, and they had a master plumber to my home on the next business day.The issue was electrical, so the master plumber could not resolve the issue himself, however, he made sure that an electrician was dispatched the same day to fix the problem. He also provided me options and his honest guidance and opinion.Result - Excellent - Problem solved ! I will be calling this company again for service.

Promo 5 x 7 stickers everywhere!!?! The technician was here to replace some hot water heating piping and run a gas line to the kitchen. Before he left, WITHOUT ASKING, he decided to put a Hagerstown Heating & Cooling sticker on every piece of equipment we had in our basement... These stickers are not small... they are 5 INCHES BY 7 INCHES. The stickers are thin and rip completely into pieces if you try to remove them.He put them on the furnace, the hot water heater, the water tank, the water softener... and where a sticker wouldnt fit he hung a tag on various other pipes - places he didnt even service. Honestly I get the desire to market your business but this is ridiculous and 100% overboard. Beyond this, the gas line was not thoughtfully run and the valve through the floor sits crooked. Not impressed at all.

Work was done courteously and efficiently. They were knowledgeable about the product and forthcoming with further detailed information. The product looks excellent and I look forward to many happy years not hearing it run in the background as I enjoy the heating and cooling it provides. (The unit is QUIET!)

JAMILL STEWART is professional and knowledgeable. He completed a thorough inspection of our heatpump. He advised me that the blower needed cleaned. I asked why he didnt clean it since this was a routine maintenance call and he informed me that the fee for cleaning the blower area is approximately $150. I believe the cleaning should be part of the maintenance. Not Jamills fault, he was following company guidelines. I am upset with the company though because the average person cannot complete the cleaning since wires and such are located in the area that needs cleaned. The fee for the maintenance should include the cleaning because that is maintenance.

My heating oil ran out on the coldest day of the year last week on a Saturday. No oil delivery was available so I had to pour in my own. I called Hagerstown Heating & Cooling to get my furnace running after putting in a few gallons of oil. John had it running in no time. Hagerstown Heating & Cooling is the best! Thank you for keeping us warm!

I had this company to my house several times to look at my 30 year old AC system. Every time they were great! They always gave me an honest opinion on the life of the system and fixed it up twice to buy me some time so that I could save up for a new system. A little over a year later I’ve had no problems at all. Their price was fair, the crew did tidy work, and the estimator/owner didn’t push to sell me anything that I didn’t need. I’ll be calling them when my 30 year old furnace finally gives up!

Of course our AC unit waited until there was 95+ temps forecast for the next 15 days before it decided to quit. Daniel was sent to the rescue. He was on top of the diagnoses and estimate quick without even a pause to scratch his head like he wasn’t sure of what to do next. He is what an employer and a consumer looks for on a consistent basis; professional, knowledgeable, quick, and courteous. Top notch all the way. I hope we won’t need his services anytime soon, but I’ll look forward to his visit should we do.

Our AC unit was freezing up and not cooling at all. I called several AC repair companies, and Hagerstown Heating & Cooling were the only ones who actually called me back.John asked me several questions over the phone, and scheduled an appointment for the next day. Arrived promptly and started working.After diagnosing the problem he gave me a quote to remedy it. Our AC was low on freon, likely due to a leak. He filled it with a sealant/freon/dye mix. If its a small leak, the sealant should take care of it. If its a big one the dye will reveal where it is.He also advised it may not be worth doing many more repairs on our unit from 1998 - as its very old and we would essentially be fixing it so that it could limp along until the next expensive fix.Overall he was professional, informative, and helpful. Our house has been cooling off for the past few hours and no ice build up.

Installation of hot water heater was successful. The only issue my husband and I had was the lack of communication between technician and homeowner. Saturday 12/19, my husband called to ask for service of a faulty water heater that was leaking. Informed that a technician would arrive Sunday morning 12/20. Upon arrival technician saw that the new water heater he brought would not fit, too wide to go downstairs. He informed us that he would be back, not indicating a time. This was 9:00am, waiting until almost 2:00pm, my husband called back asking if technician would be coming back or decided not complete the job. An hour later finally receiving a call to say that workers would arrive Monday 12/21 to install the water heater. It would have been a curiosity to inform the homeowner of the delay and indicate a reason.

I can never give enough good reviews for John and his team. They are professional, clean and even take the time to explain what I can do to keep my system maintained. I won’t use anyone else for heating or plumbing services!

First of all I was able to make a appointment right away instead of waiting like the other companies. The guys were informative and prompt when dealing with my concerns. I felt 100% certain that I was being scammed or sold something I didn’t need. Was told about future services and maintenance on my unit. The price was very affordable. We will definitely used them for our next services.

Had a new system installed in July of 2020 they came in did a load calculation and said I need a 3 ton heat pump/ ac and 60k furnace 2 stage propane my house never held temperature that was set either a/c or hear including the propane furnace when temps drops below 32 degrees called and complained many time about it only to get one comment from the owner about how much money he is spending to send techs to my house so I had 5 companies come in and all said the same thing it was undersized for the house so I will say they do honor the 365 day buy back but when they came back in they took everything including some of my hvac duck work all my copper pipe and the shielded wire for my thermostat I would never recommend them or trust them again.

I had Paul and Josh come out to check my ac to find out what was wrong with it, they were very professional and on time. Unfortunately I needed a new system. I then had Matt come out and again on time and very professional. He went over everything with me and answered all my questions. Then I had Collin come for getting all the right parts, as soon as parts came in we were ready to go he said. I was glad they waited for all parts to come in before scheduling because I didn’t want to be disappointed if they canceled. The gentlemen who came out when it was scheduled were very professional and quickly did they jobs. I was very impressed and happy with they work. I will definitely recommend to family, friends and neighbors. Also wanted to say I felt very bad for these guys working on my house considering it was over 90 degrees both in and out of my house.

Prices are crazy high. Charged over 200 to install new t stat plus a diagnostic fee for doing no diagnostic. Rip off beware
