Absolutely the worst customer service, I have experienced. I asked how much two outdoor chairs were that had a 50% off clearance sticker on both of them but no price. The cashier/floor monitor walks over to the chairs and rips off the clearance sticker and then says not for sale. With no further explanation. If they are not for sale or someone brought them why not put a note on them not for sale. Mind you the chairs have been sitting there for weeks with the same tags on them. I never had the space in my car to get them when I originally saw them on sale. I asked to speak with the manager, she says, she is in aisle 8. What kind of customer service is that for a paying customer? The manager never came over until, we asked again to speak with a manager. She finally pops her head out of aisle 8 and says they are not for sale, they were returns that we cannot find in the system. So again why would they have a clearance sign on them and how were you able to return them? Just make it all make sense because it makes absolutely none to me. CVS is the way to go! Especially if you are in Hackensack.
Rite Aide, Essex street, Hackensack is a very dedicated team that maintains a very clean, well stocked, list of inventory that can be called a One-stop shop & is Open 24/7. The Pharmacy is very busy at all times & I have been going there for all my Otc, and medications when needed. They provide a very tight run ship, and do their Best to fulfill Everyones needs in a very fast paced business due to high volume of patients looking for professional Customer service. As with mostly everything you need to have patience to allow then to understand what your needs are. If you treat the Pharmacy with respect you will Not be disappointed with this staff who go beyond their call of duty. Thank you Rite-Aide! Essex street. -Mateo
Use CVS instead. Their COVID testing is really unreliable. My partner and I took the test together 3 days before our trip. He got his results and I never got mine. Every email we got said 1-3 days. All of a sudden I call and it’s up to 5 days. So we drove from NJ to the border with Canada only to have to drive all the way back. The test to get in has to be within 72 hrs so even if I get mine now it’s garbage. They do their testing thru Project Baseline. Utter trash.
I have truly tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt so let me categorize it by the pros and cons.Pros: 1.Some of the new staff are friendly. To emphasize, when I say “friendly” it doesn’t necessarily mean one has to strike up a conversation with the customer. It is, after all, a place of business. However, a friendly greeting is important to customer service and since they ask you to give them reviews on their website regarding customer service, I believe these qualities are important.2. The Pharmacy department has gotten better with customer service and one individual in particular there, a young man, tries his best to assist you with any questions regarding your order. Now…to the Cons:Cons: A cashier (older Caucasian female) got irritated with me ordering and I quote “so many things”. She believed my order was too much and proceeded to let out a sigh of frustration. My order consisted of 12 things and she wasn’t happy. Yes…only 12. Furthermore when I went back three days later, (this was around April 15), I saw her watching me putting things into my cart, apparently thinking that I was going to order “too many” things again🥴.2. The availability of things is really disappointing. It’s like they only put out two or three things at a time. I don’t quite understand the logic of that.3. There really needs to be better structure on where things are placed and also we don’t need to be seeing things spread out on the floor as staff is packing them.Overall because they are a 24 hrs store, if you want to make a quick in and out, you can go in and if you find what you need, then yayyy! Congratulations! 😁😁
Horrible customer service in the pharmacy department, I was greeted and what appeared to be a under age teen, I was told to wait for the pharmacist to help and I stood there 35 minutes watching the pharmacist walk back-and-forth without even acknowledging my presence or asking me to be patient, nor thanking me for my way, just utterly disrespectful needs to be replaced immediately I didn’t get her name but she was a blonde Caucasian lady middle-age appeared to be having an issue with anyone seeking help, because she was not attending anyone nor was she actually hands on doing anything other than on a computer watching the people get online
I took a bottle of over the counter cough medicine to the cashier. The cashier asked me for my driver license (which was in my car) and refused to let me purchase the cough medicine. I am in my 60s.
The pharmacist miss place my order that was call by doctor and was giving me altitude... one thing for sure im not coming back to thos store 😤😪😒
Reliable pharmacy and all the items you expect in a major drug store. Store portion is 24 hours 7days, and pharmacy 8 Am - 10 pm M-F and 9 Am - 8 PM Sat-Sun. Has a photo center. Ive always had a good experience with the pharmacy. Theres a drive-thru window for the pharmacy. Checkout can often be tedious because of coupons. Good covid safety practices.
I wish there was a way of giving negative stars. Unprofessional staff with such an attitude. The young woman actually said the words” I will do it once as a favor“ isn’t this their job and what they get paid for to get his prescriptions? If she’s doing me a favor then perhaps I also shouldn’t pay
I like the services from.the farmacy. Good customer services
This store keeps getting WORSE!!!The pharmacy ignore social distancing and calls up other customers while you are being helped that dont even have a mask on. They are playing with my life now. What a disappointment. They have a poor quality, disrespectful and inept staff. Kept me waiting for 40 minutes to get a flu shot. I arrived to get a flu shot and no customers were in the pharmacy area. While I was filling out the form others came in. Then they took 2 people that came in after me.I asked why they are making me wait and they came up with just a bunch of lies and excuses. Not one person apologized for making a mistake, the extended wait and forgetting to take me.Too bad I cant order a flu shot on Amazon. Good example of why retail is dying. Now I know why the other chains have a lot more locations.Go elsewhere, there is a CVS just a few blocks away.
Horrible pharmacy service should get fired !! Laughing because of my English!!
Good
The Pharmacist Sulana.and Her Pharmacy Assistant Debbie are Both Kind,Caring, Intelligent Individuals. They Take All of Their Client s Health Very Seriously.
Extremely poor customer service. Workers need training.
The worst Pharmacy I ever had this bad experience with in my whole life very rude unprofessional slow and never ready. Wait too long being told I need to call the Drs office for refills my Dr told me no need to call for refills every time. Run around bs. Im thinking about changing pharmacy seriously. Good luck staying in business.
Poor customer service bought a product when i went to exchange the manager said if i dont have a receipt she dont care she cant help me, i show her the receip on my phone still act unprofessional and disrespectful I go every week to this place and spent $ dollars or more
Cherry lin is the name of the pharmacist she is awesome very helpful person A+
Pharmacist at this place are worse.. total lack of empathy. They made me run to dr office for many times without checking on their side for the medication. Please don’t go here..
Rude and slow. Don’t waste your time. Probably the worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to.
What a great service!! I was not expecting to see someone in the store who could help me figure out how to sign up for Obamacare. I had plenty of questions about the market place exchange and the health insurance plans. Jose was terrific answering my questions about health insurance and helping me wade through all options so I could sign up. Thanks Jose!
The service is always slow. You stay on line for a good twenty minutes with just two people ahead of you, with barely anything in their hands. To add, the pharmacy staff is utterly useless. We have had prescriptions faxed over for about 8 months. In that time spand, with the same insurance, every visit, the prescription would’ve been faxed. We have to call to see if it got there, they say, “yes.” Then, we wait. We call again, and they “Don’t have the birth date, don’t have the insurance information on file.” So it’s already two days wasted!!!!! This is ridiculous. I was holding off on a review but this is the 6th time it’s happened to us. The majority of the time, the pharmacy doesn’t have things on stock. The flu, the flu is common. Be proactive and always have the orders. Go to another location, or store chain, save yourself the time and the headache. Let’s not get started on how the pharmacist are all rude, never own up to the mistakes, aren’t knowledgeable, and do not help diffuse the situation they started.
Never had any issues here. Employees are pretty friendly, and helpful. The store is well stocked and clean.
THIS STORE IS A VERY NICE STORE, EMPLOYEES ARE ALWAYS HELPFUL AND NICE, THE STORE MANAGER DONNA WANCO IS AN EXCELLENT MANAGER.
Just waited 2 hours for a prescription that had been sent to the pharmacy hours before I arrived. The service was slow and unprofessional. None of the pharmacists gave drug info. Simply tossed it in the drive thru basket and said its all there. Thank God, I looked because it wasnt all there. Definitely switching pharmacies and would suggest others do the same.
I have been coming here for 3years. Everyone is so nice. Great customer service.
The wait to pick up Medicine is insame. Everytime I go there it gets worst. Between 1 to 2 hours wait. Try CVS better
The store manager, as I observe her frequently, doesnt really want to engage with customers nor interact as she avoids them. Store and restrooms are often dirty. Security employees are utterly useless.
Pharmacy is unbelievably SLOW, 4 people behind the counter, one working both the register and drive-thru, other 3 can care less it is ridiculous
Horrible! They take forever to fill up prescription. Rude, and not caring about the customers. For refills they are the worst as well. Do not call to tell you your refills are up, you must call before hand to make sure they refill them and even after that they take their sweet time. WORST pharmacy ever! AND FORGET about the drive-thru, they will tell you to come back in an hr for your meds.
You are going to find a Health Insurance Agent in this store who is going to help you for free answering your questions about the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) and also enrolling you in a health insurance plan you are going to chose.
Showed up to the pharmacy about 20 minutes before closing and was told by the pharmacist to come back tomorrow because there were 5 people already waiting. I guess my medical problems arent important enough to tend to even though I was there well before close.
This is my rite aid...lol!!!
Ive never had a problem here. Another pharmacy with a good section of OTC medication and quick perscription refills.
If you have nothing to do and feel like spending a waste of time go here. Slowest service on the planet. Keep your blood pressure down and stay away from the window...
Worst rite aid ever, employees are rude and line at register is 10 deep with one cashier who couldnt find their way out of a paper bag. Avoid this store and go to cvs down the block
Their service is very slow. However they do have their shelves filled up most of the time.
They gave me two medication bottles with the opposite labels on them. (Different doses and mgs*) Should have sued.
Parking lot was not plowed at all today. Shame on you you should of closed your damn store. I will be contacting your regional to discuss this matter!!!!!!
24/7, there could be a waiting line even though there are 3 cashiers cz only one or two cashiers are working at a time
NOT A 24 HOUR PHARMACY LOCATION THE STORE IS 24 BUT PHARMACY IS NOT.
Pricy and not well organized at the counters.
Carts that are used for customers are filthy
Long wait in drive thru
Actually it is bad service and they asked me my ID for giving my medicine and I have prescription
The old lady Rite Aid representative/cashier always loses the key when I want to use the bathroom...so unprofessional
Very bad customer service, always a lot of people with one cashier, they don’t paying attention or care that much if you asked for helpNever gonna go to them again
People in the pharmacy are rude!
Very slow
