So much prepared food options, who need to cook? From roasted pig, chicken & ducks to so many cooked noodles, fried rices, eggs with tomatoes, meats & veggies.If you like to cook and eat healthier their fruits and veggies section is HUGH.Want seafood, they have tanks and tanks of live fish, crabs, lobsters. This could be my one stop shop.

Amazing how they can offer such an incredible assortment in a small area. Its so nice to be able to go through every isle quickly. Excellent produce selection. Super friendly staff.

Quite disappointed, they put a big load of loose leaves and those that aren’t fresh in between the fresh ones in a big bag; so we can’t see them at all.

I love this store. And the ladies at the bakery area are very nice. I usually come here to buy my Korean Pears (delicious!) And 9 pre-served cups of milk tea. My kids love coming here too. They have live fish, crabs, lobsters and may types of mushrooms. Perfect place to get all my ingredients for when I cook my Asian dishes.

Standard Asian market. Kind of small for a Ranch 99. Really easy to get in and out for Asian veggies.

Quick and easy way to prepare Golden Pomfret. Just order the fish fried #6. Open a can of stewed tomatoes and add half a can of diced pineapples. Use the juice from the pineapples also. Cooked the mixture add water or chicken soup if required. Pour it on top of the fried fish and enjoy!PS. Add sugar to the sauce. I added about 5 teaspoons.

Your typical 99ranch experience is here. They are usually really well stocked, rarely have I not been able to find what I need when I come. Prices are great and reasonable.

Very nice supermarket, you can find almost everything you need there at thrifty cost and good quality with their professional helpful staffs.

This is a fabulous store, full of delicious food. Fresh vegetables and fruit, bakery, fresh (live) fish and shellfish, frozen meats and fish, dumplings, fresh and frozen foods, eggs and dairy, packaged foods...the list goes on. The store is clean and the staff helpful.

GOOD ALL DIFFERENT FOODS

I always used to come here with my parents ever since I was 5 years old to now. I really liked the hot delli lunch area ever since I used to come home from my schools around my district and then eat them before I do my homework and ace to get and become a straight grade A student and learn that the world is always going to change and nothing will always stay the same way.

One of the smaller and dirtier Ranch 99s. But it does carry most of what one would expect to see at a Ranch 99.

I love the 99 Ranch Market. But the staff at this location is horrible. I understand that we are currently in a pandemic and public safety requires face mask. Half of the face mask people are using right now is useless. I saw a lot of people without gloves and touching things and putting them back. When we entered the store, an employee was kind enough to whip down and clean the cart i was about to use for my shopping. HE did not in any way shape or form tried to stop me. I can assure you that plenty of employees working there saw me without masks and did not say or do anything. I was in this store for an hour walking around looking for groceries just like I would at any other grocery store. Just before I finished looking around the store I was finally ready to go and purchase my groceries. A man from store and asked if I had a mask and I said no, Im sorry I dont and I was let in without a mask. And he just walked away. A second person came along and asked the same thing. I told him that I didnt have mask and if I did require a mask then why was I let in without a mask. Mind you I was in this store for one hour. Then a lady comes and started to say something to me and I did not understand a word she said. But I understood was that I could not purchase the items I picked out with my bare hands. Items that had been in my cart for an hour. Now, I dont think this lady who took my items that I picked with my bare hands is going to throw away those items. I believe she is going to place them back on the shelves for other people to pick from the shelves. Im not saying I may be contaminated but she is going to restock items that were touched by me, a person whom didnt wear a mask and gloves for and hour in the store. I am not happy with the staff from this location. A lot of people were not practicing social distancing and I didnt see them get removed from the store like i did and I do not appreciate it because it was unnecessary. Again, horrible customer service from this location.

This is one of the best Asian super markets I have seen. I really like their bakery department. Tasty bakery with reasonable prices. Also they carry lots of food items pretty much most of the stuff you can think of. For example if you want to make Boba milk tea at home, you can get all the materials there.In addition to being well stocked, this place is very nice and clean. Make it very enjoyable to visit.Highly recommend!

If Asian staple items are needed then this is a good place to visit. They have all the narrow isles stocked full with all things from the East. Live fish and other creatures are on display for the personal picking. Fresh fruits and veg adorn and are at a great price. Get a magnum bottle of plum wine to top off the cart and enjoy the day.

This oriental supermarket has new management since a couple years ago. I like it very much since then. The grocery items are more organized displayed, more varieties and more up to date for shoppers needs. You may also find promotional items with good prices day to day.

Everything is great. The only thing is that there is a cashier that needs more training. She has very poor customer service. She doesnt care for the customer service, I had very bad experience with her she doesnt greet the customer not even a thank you come back again, she doesnt offer me bags. Other than that the store is great.

Great produce and deli section, 5 star experience except for something bizarre. For the last month, theyve been playing country music. Not just regular country which is beautiful, but bible-thumping dudes with heavy drawls singing about their lady folk and the good ol days kind of country. I thought it was an aberration at first, but now that its been awhile, its enough for me to take my business to 168 or the 99 Ranch on Nogales and that ones had reported Covid cases. Were a Chinese-American supermarket with a predominantly Asian clientele in the middle of HH. Who are you pandering to?

Clean and well organized store with a large variety of products. Staff is very friendly and the food smells so good. Very good prices as well. I live a bit far from this store but this store has won me over and will continue coming here.

I havent been at this 99 Ranch in ages. They have upgraded and it is better than before.I brought a lot of items and the prices are comparable to other 99 Ranch Markets.I like the seafood section because it is clean and it doesnt smell fishy.The meat dept was well stocked and there was a helpful person to help you too.

Clean and easy to shop.

A small market with a deli that serves Mexican food. It has a great variety of 2Liter sodas to choose from. Before entering be sure to check out the fresh fruit just outside the front entrance. Rarely is there ever a line at the cash register.

I shopped at 99 Ranch Market for the first time today and this place is amazing! Its super clean and the selection is huge! Some of the produce looked old but thats with every market. Im definitely coming back for more food, especially once I look up some more noodle recipes.

Love this store, always has what I need, but the most impressive thing is they have Latino cashiers...yaaaa. what a break through for a traditional Chinese business. See other races can serve you well too. Not only as customers but as employees. Now if only other ranch markets can jump on your band wagon. Good job

Be care at this park lots, my sister got her 3rd roll seat stolen from her suv few years ago.

As of today, Feb.5, 2018, the market is clean and bright. They might have change hands because the shelves are fully stocked, and theyve added a wide variety of products. There is also a bakery inside which has pretty good cakes, and a Chinese BBQ stand that sells roast ducks.

They have some sweet deals. Deli food was good. My only wish was that they have some roasted ducks for the combos since I can’t really eat a whole duck or half of it.

If youre into Asian Foods,from various kinds of readymade, raw, easy-to-use prepackaged foods and Snacks, this is one of the place you should go to. Products are organized and easy to find and cleaner than other Asian supermarkets.

A clean well organized store. Of couse I cant read anything on the packages but the cashier was so nice and helpful. The prepared foods and sushi were all very fresh and tasted great! It was horrible for my girls to see the fish monger grab a fresh fish and bang it on the case...guess its what they do! They talked about it for days! Guess ill never buy a fresh fish there!

Warning: Bring your own Shopping/Grocery Bags to this location; as they no longer provide plastic bags. No frills 99, on the smaller side; but they still have most of what you should need. Do have to ask a few workers sometimes on hard to find items, that change from time to time.

Omg this is my 1st time checking my receipt, ad they charge me 5.71 fish fry service 😯, Id get back to the manager and she says is a government fee? hahaha what?

I only gave them one star because I went there yesterday and it was closing time and they took double prices on things that word mark down and when you got to the register they doubled the price on them and thats not something that I really really enjoyed I like 99 Ranch Market but whoever is doing that is not faithful to the store because youre cheating your customers and I came a hundred something miles just to come there to get some nice Red Rock card that was at 2:59 and they charged me for 99 I went there to get some nice clementines and they were 169 when I finish paying form they would 3 something a pound and Im not pleased as a customer so they dont get any stars if it was necessary so they got lucky to get one

Its on the much cleaner end of Asian markets with a fairly nice staff. I usually come here to pick up herb jelly, snacks, random Chinese or Japanese ingredients, or the annually mooncake.The parking is kinda awful being in the area (I dont wanna be racist but Chinese drivers you know? Im Chinese and even my mom has complained about it)

This is a Taiwanese, mandarins and Cantonese market. The deli lunch is good and the bakery has nice bread buns. I come to here with my family and relatives to buy hot pot items back then.

This place definitely smells. Produce was a bit sad but the staff is more friendly here than other 99 Ranch locations. Bigger and more spacious it feels than the Van Nuys location.

It is a dump of a market that badly needs renovation. It smells like a dead cat wrapped in a dirty diaper with a dash of pine Sol.That said, this dump has Asian food covered. Not just a small Asian isle or section its the whole store.So plug your nose and buy something good to cook for dinner.

Food is OK. Employee are not helpful. Demo (fruit) ladies are very rude and very unprofessional. When I try to sample two small pieces of fruit, they do not like me and saying something behind my back. I do NOT recommend this market. 168 market Employee are more helpful than 99 ranch market. Be careful sampling if you do not buy it, demo ladies will say something behind your back.

I like fry fish here, t they fry shrimp for us little too crispy and it was dry . BuTastes good anyhow
