I love this small store located inside 168 Market. The store owner is so humble, genuine, and a hardworking person. The market is a bit dingy and underlit. It doesnt offer a lot of things, just the basic necessities. It is located in an affluent neighborhood but it doesnt live up to expectations. And the food is decent at best.

Probably the weirdest experience Ive had in an Asian supermarket. Your standard Chinese fair. Everything smells like fish because they sell fish in the back. Constantly plays country music.Only saving grace is the fast food section which seems to have the cheapest price Ive encountered in Chinatown.

Living in Hacienda heights has brought culture awareness to the forefront. This market was amazing. The seafood wasincredible and and I found New Zealand muscles amongst a plethora of animals that I see when scuba diving. Umm! Bottom feeders.

Regular Asian market with daily need. Their food section has pastry, and bread with 4for $5. And fresh dishes with noodle or rice..yummy.

I come here alot with my parents and I am very happy that I finally get to buy and taste Ritter Sport Single Origin Cacao Class Dark Chocolates that are imported from the country of Germany. There was 55% cacao mild sweet dark milk chocolate made from the cocoa from Ghana, 61% semi sweet dark chocolate made from the cocoa of Nicaragua and the 74% cacao intense bittersweet dark chocolate made from the cocoa form Peru. My favorite Ritter Sport cacao class favorite taste form all 3 single origin snack bars is the 74% cacao intense Peru bittersweet blend dark chocolate out of all the 3 new dark flavors, the 61% cacao semi sweet dark blend is really fine made from Nicaragua cocoa beans blend and third place will be the 55% mild sweet dark milk blend from Ghana cocoa beans blend (I am disappointed because the ghana 55% cacao blend was kind of crumby and broken due to the milk and sugar content added) I am really a big fan of dark chocolate and I personally dislike milk chocolate and I definitely want to avoid white chocolate in the candy isle in this chinese supermarket. It is cheaper groceries here than it is in 99 ranch market (Da Hua). The deli section here has soy milk and hot pastry besides lunch that I enjoy and traditional Chinese/Taiwanese hot pot items here are a very good price too. And we have a fresh bakery with tea, coffee and boba as well.

It was a chance encounter. I had to go next door to UPS and then I check that place. Its a Chinese store with separate counter serving fresh variety of Chinese rolls. At other counter one can buy for $5.99 -2 choices or for $6.99 -3 choices of food. I am eating right now and the food is very good. In fish section I bought headless big shrimps and prepackaged carp. I check and shop for values, but at times, like today with ready made food - I am an impulse buyer. I liked this store ...big and clean. It must have a big turnover - big veggie section. But everything looks fresh and most is sold by pounds. If Ill be in the area, I might visit again specially the take out restaurant.

Their meat selection is exceptional I wish though that they would sell more organic Foods. The prices are about average there are some fruits that are that you have to buy in bulk I cannot buy individually. They have a nice Bakery inside and also an Eatery and several other small businesses too. Overall its a nice place to visit

Could be cleaner, but hey its a Chinese supermarket, it cant be too clean. Vegetables and fruit are fresher than Ranch 99. Selection is good and prices are just a tad better than 99, but not by much. I just like how its not as busy as I hate waiting in the checkout line.

Theres a lot of stuff you need to figure out what they are,as the packaging might be difficult to understand unless you can read Chinese.

Absolutely a great place to shop. Produce and unique eats alike. By far my favorite place to shop. I come out from Whittier and highly recommend it. Staff is amazing.

My review is for all customers and management. I would like to say this store has too many good things. Definitely compared to most of the other grocery stores this one meets all standards. However, there was only one thing that got my attention. I was always taught to respect every individual no matter race, religion, origin, etc. So it was kind of disturbing for me to see another customer give one of the employees in the meat department a hard time. I do not if this customer who was a lady did not like to be served by someone who was not asian as well. From what I could see and hear the guy just gave her what she wanted. However she lady recriminated him for something bad he had said to her. Like I mentioned he just did his job and without even saying a word. He kept on asking her what he had said but she did not answer back. Me, the other costumers and the guy were so confused and wondering why this lady was acting like that. So, I would like management to be aware of this type of situations and it is not fair for the employees and the other customers around that these things happen.

Its got good bread selections and Chinese food to go besides regular grocery. However the Air Conditioning inside is way too cold nowadays to stay longer.

Good hot foodEdit:They Used to have Hot food. I went there yesterday for some hot tofu and when I got my tofu it was cold like they just took it out the Frig. While the lady was preparing my food she sneezed into her gloves and kept on preparing my food. (So unsanitary). I was so disappointed about yesterdays service. The tongs were dropped on the floor and they kept on using them. Its like they dont care. I wont be going back. 😔

Great variety of Asian foods. the meat department has an exceptional selection! they also have a bakery, a deli, and a coffee/tea station. I am so glad to have a great store in the neighborhood, and with very reasonable prices. I will be sure to come back again and again. 👍

Its a decent alternative to 99 ranch. The produce seems a little better and it is definitely less crowded. Smaller selection overall. Seafood quality is definitely fresher than ranch.

Mainly a Chinese market but does carry most regular American grocery items. Just not as much choice in brand selections as a regular market like Vons. Doesnt have long lines. Has full service meat and seafood depts. Produce are usually fresh. Nice market.

I left a little lost in this store, I felt like everyone was looking at me. customers and staff, like why is he here. Felt very uncomfortable. Although it was my first time here I felt like was being followed by staff like if I was going to steal something. I was going through every aisle seeing what was interesting to buy since most of the products are in Chinese I was going to buy some noodles, but I felt like I wasn’t welcomed so I left . I don’t think I’m going back anymore.

This is a great new Asian Supermarket that has opened up on Azusa in Hacienda Heights. The store contains a bakery called Bread Farm which has inexpensive pastries and cakes, there is also a Ten Ren Tea and Noodle Bar, and a couple of more stores around the perimeter. I love how they have a really good distribution of foods by nationality. I found Japanese items I would previously have to go to a specifically Japanese market for. The market also contains a good selection of Korean, Taiwanese, Chinese, and American products. I will be coming back here for sure.

Cashier lady is very judgmental and rude. I am aware that my name seems Chinese, but there is no need to be rude about it for 10+ visits. She treats me like a second generation Chinese kid who can’t speak Chinese, when I’m just Korean... Even if I were Chinese who can’t speak Chinese, her behavior is extremely rude. My wife learned Chinese, so she can understand all the unnecessary things she says in front of us. Please train basic human etiquette.Also, poor quality frozen meats at fresh meat market price.No alcohol sale past 9 pm... nough said

Great place to buy Asian food and the price is very reasonable

I love this market. Its clean and has excellent produce (huge variety at great prices). Big variety of meats anything from rabbit, duck, goose, beef, chicken, pork - you name it, they even had geoducks in the fish department. The employees are super friendly and always willing to help if you have a question. You do need to remember this is an asian market and they dont carry a lot of things you would expect at an American Grocery store (white bread, kleenex). But a fun and interesting place to shop.
