Needed a new hdmi port for my ps4. Called many other places until finally finding Tech N Gamer on google. Was shocked to find out that they quoted my repair at less than half of the price of all other places I called. The owner seemed to be a great guy and was very helpful through the process. I have nothing but praise and great things to be said about this place! They have a wide selection of some really cool stuff, retro consoles and very clean store, super friendly and helpful staff! If you need a console repair do not overlook this shop. I brought in my Xbox One X and troubleshooted it for days to try and get it functional again. After no success I took it in and the clerk ran through a couple ideas, but said that the price would likely top around 75 dollars. 3 work days later they called with a successful repair. They had to replace a chip on the motherboard. I work in PC repair and cant believe how their prices are that low. Not only that but a pretty awesome selection of games with great prices. Worth the nearly 2 hour drive from my town!

Great people that work here! They are very friendly and know exactly what they’re doing! They took in my ps-5 to repair the HDMI port, they told me it would take anywhere from 3-5 days, and it was done within 2! They’re prices are also half the cost of anyone else I’ve been to! By far best gaming store I’ve been to, they know how to keep things bad to the bone!!!

My Xbox broke... I dropped it off shortly after they opened.....my man George called me a couple hours later that it was fixed..... Works like brand new and beyond reasonable pricing.

The guy who helped me was super super nice. He answered every question and gave me suggestions of games. I was able to try out all the games there to make sure they all worked. I felt comfortable and welcome very happy I stopped by!

This place is so great. My son dropped his tv on our new x box x console, breaking the HDMI port completely off. Called 5 places, and was finally referred by someone at GameStop to go see George at Tech n Gamer. They were so friendly and very knowledgeable. George said 3 to 5 days turn around. I told him I have an Autistic son and he will lose his mind without console but I understand first come first serve. About 4 hours later I receive a call saying it is done. They did an excellent job. They replaced the port and cleaned the inside completely at no extra charge. This is the only place to take your video game equipment. They are the best bar none.

Even though i didnt actually use their service, the quote i was given for repair was half of what i was offered anywhere else, also the staff were very respectful and sincere!

Fantastic game store! Both games and repairs are really reasonably priced. They do take a little bit of time to repair things, but the wait is worth it! Theyre very thorough with repairs and make sure its done right.

Very clean store. Cartridge selection is pretty small. Quality of used consoles was below my standards which is admittedly pretty high. Disc game selection is huge.

Dude was rude and acted like he didnt want to fix our Micro and SP. He told us he could then I get there and suddenly he cant. Then he says come back in a month or two. Ill pass when he decides to great his customers a little better.

These guys are great. When three kids were little were always went there and he would give them extra stuff all the time. I don’t know how many times one of them would be trying to choose between two DS games and he’d give then both. I send everyone there.

First off: I found this place searching for video game repair shops fully anticipating no such things existed anymore or even being so close to me. I cannot tell you how ecstatic I was when I saw Tech n Gamer top of the list. I could barely get out my words over the phone to the woman when I asked if they’d repair my childhood Game Cube. (Which was not even expensive to do!)Secondly: You walk into this store and it is clean and very open. The staff is so very nice and knowledgeable. The owner is so kind and accommodating. It’s so rare to walk into a store and feel immediately at home. It’s like a mini video game museum with collectables displayed as decorations. I spent so much money because I didn’t expect the amount of things they’d carry, I got so excited the next thing I knew I had a whole stack of games and a new system. So happy to have come across this place!

Extremely disappointing experience. I took a xl 3DS to get a screen crack replaced. I was told it will take 3 days to complete. I dropped it off on Wednesday July 22, 2020 that Saturday I called to see if it was ready for pick up. It was not, I was told it can take up to 7 days. Called the following week was not done kept getting the run around. Today I call August 10, 2020 to check the status of my repair. I was told they could not fix it. Then tried to offer me a older version DS for 60.00 if I trade in my DS. This place is a waste of time scam and a RIP off. I would not recommend anyone to seek business at this establishment. If they had a -000000 to rate them, I would select it.

Went here on a whim one day. Extremely impressed with the amount of selection and the friendliness and upbeat personality of the staff! Ended up buying a DS Lite for a great price, and the owner was extremely accommodating to ensure I got everything I needed for a fun experience with my new console. Will definitely be returning in the near future!

I am a retro gamer who collects various games from different consoles. As I entered the store greeting with my natural language - American Sign Language. The employees there appeared to leave me out cold and ignored me at the entire time. I personally dont leave a review - both good or bad. But, its urgent for me to send the message to the owners and/or employees not to provide inequality to anybody who appears different. Yes, they do sell decent games...I was in awe with the number of N64s Zeldas Ocarina of Time cartridges available. PS3 games are at affordable prices. Its very disappointing for me as a Grove City resident not to support a certain local shop.

Very reasonable prices and friendly staff.. Needs to offer better selection of games. Hard to trade for credit when selection is very limited. Being open when advertised would help a great deal also. Went several times to shop and had to go to game stop because they were not there.

We have patronized this establishment for several years. My son loves shopping here and the owner is really cool and a huge gamer, so he and my son have a lot to talk about. He sells just about every gaming console in existence and not only that, he repairs them as well. We will shopping here for years to come.

Best game store in the area. I took in an Xbox 360 to see what they could do. They practically built a new one from scratch to try and fix it. Didnt charge me a dime. The place has a great selection and deserves far more business than Ive seen it get. The people who work there are kind and understanding, and are more than willing to help a random guy out to the extent of REPLACING EVERY REPLACEABLE BIT OF A 360 in an attempt to fix it up.

This is a shop run by guys that love gaming, possibly more than their clientele. While the storefront and interior may be simple, rest assured that the attention not spent on decorating will be redirected into quality repairs and stock. I was amazed to see an Atari being refurbished on the counter, and I was able to see it breathe life once again, as the repairman tinkered away at it.I had the disk reading laser replaced on my PS3, and it was done within 24 hours. They billed me fairly for a job that I certainly was not up to the task of undertaking. I would highly recommend them for any repairs, especially of older or systems with difficult to acquire parts.

Great employees, great prices, awesome discounts, and such a HUGE selection. And the mods they do are like no other, swear! They always buff games and DVDs for free. And you can find things here that you absolutely cannot find elsewhere! It may be a little drive if youre not in Grove City but I promise you its worth it! Plus the owner gave my 5 year old a free Skylander character... How sweet is that!?
