This Home Depot location offers the same materials, tools, parts and misc items for the various types of professional or DYI projects, as well as offers the standard 10% US military/veteran discount and has preferred parking for military/veterans.The lower score is for the misalignment with the store setup, as almost all Home Depots are set up and organized in a Cookie cutter type of fashion, which makes the experience exceptionally convenient. This particular location requires extra time and effort to search out the same parts, which creates inconvenience, confusion and I would go as far to say frustration during times when The clock may be ticking. You still receive the same friendly help and the employees still take initiative to ensure they help or find someone with greater Subject matter and/or technical expertise.Again, great store but they should really consider aligning with the setup of other Home Depot stores.
The 2 gentleman that helped us get the black large tool box down and loaded in our truck was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! You have an amazing team. Thank you Home Depot!
Find anyone to assist with anything is nearly impossible. Pandemic or not, either get help or close the location and fully staff another location
The Mysterious aisle 62! I was shopping for a garage in a box online and it conveniently told me where the product was located in the store and that it was 9 in stock. Great! Awesome let me grab my buddy and go grab one. once i get to the store which is 20 mins away from where i was, i started looking for aisle 62 cause the website sent me a text to tell me where it was located. We went out the garden center door and the numbers started going down from 58 we were confused and thoughy maybe aisle 62 is in another part of the store. When we walked back in we asked an employee and they instructed us to go to the complete other side of the store by the lumber that kind of stuff is down there, so we assumed the employee knew what she was talking about and nope, no where to be found 400 steps and 300 calories burned later. We walked back towards the garden center and asked another employee and she said oh its out side in the garden center somewhere. wow so we looked all over and found 61 and no 62. while walking away we searched through all this mess and actually found what we went there for. It was such a mess, we had to move stuff out of the way just to get out the product. I probably wouldnt shop at home depot again as it always seems to be something while shopping there in my opinion.
This is the official ryobi service center. While they werent able to replicate or fix my issue with my mower they did a hood job of explaining themselves and giving me tips. I dont usually shop at this depot but I might start.
Home Depot is awful. Ordered a dishwasher and paid for installation a month ago. The delivery team was unable to install and just left a dishwasher sitting in my living room. Customer service shows no interest in getting the problem solved. Save your time and go to Lowe’s
Lots if employees walking around but to busy to help out or answer questions..Cashier was more than happy to engage in a conversation about the plywood i was buying was made of.. ya it was 3/4 pine. Been using it for about 25 years i think i know pine plywood. But he knew better.I will stick with Lowes and Manards
Had what we were looking for and a little more. The bathrooms were well kept up with as well. I couldnt locate an employee to point me and my toddler to the restroom, but we found it on our own. There was an employee in there cleaning up a mess and she kindly warned us which stall to not use because she was going to get supplies to close it! Self checkout was efficient and quick.
Found what I needed. Great Price. ..Thanks. ..i tryed to save a tree with Erecipt. ..But it doesnt give you any choice. ...Something that needs addressed. ...
The Home Depot is a great place to get supplies for projects around the house. They are reasonably priced, of good quality and the associates are very friendly and helpful.
Employees in store were nice but delivery service was BAD! They were 1.5 hours b4 the 4 hour window they were supposed to arrive. They were rude (1 guy only spoke in grunts). Almost dropped old fridge on my finger. Did not put fridge in the space or plug in to make sure it worked; just left it in dining room and left cuz I asked them to wait while I cleaned floor (would have been done if they were on time). Would not give their names. Took pics in our house without our knowledge or permission on areas that did not apply to delivery. Lied about what happened and forged a signature on the delivery receipt. Home Depot give us partial refund to compensate. Their bad delivery service cost them.
Great Home Depot. Come here all the time. Helpful staff.
No one in store knows anything about nothing! Treats you like your not intelligence to know what your asking them nor do they point you to someone that does know!
Starting to love coming to this location. Everyone so nice and helpful
Sorry no photos, it was eatin up before I had a chance to take, it was totally awesome, hot out of the oven made to order, dined in for the experience .. GREAT JOB GUYS !
Went to 3 different hardware stores before I ended up at home depot. They had what I was looking for.
I purchased a new dishwasher here and had it installed by Home Depot techs. I waited a week to get the dishwasher installed. It finally got installed and now it doesn’t work. I have to wait 4 more days for a plumber to come identify the issues from the install. I’ve never had a worse customer service experience in my life.
This review is NOT for Home Depot. But rather the nice men they contract out to deliver appliances.Carlos and Will were super amazing and nice when they delivered the refrigerator the apartment complex ordered. When it was discovered that the appliance was damaged, they gave me a bunch of information and options to tell my complex. They also found out that it wouldnt fit in the fridge space in kitchen (the complex forgot to measure before buying) but they were adamant that I was going to have a fridge! (I havent had one for over a week!!) So they found a place for it in the dining room and set me up!!They were so kind and attentive. Amazing guys, I hope they see this!! :)
I made two online pick up at store orders...one arrived but the other seemed to be lost. After finally getting a representative online to help they got knocked off and I was wondering what happened for 10 minutes, then they returned to say that my second order WAS at the store it just didnt update. So I go all the way across town to pick up both orders, and after literally about an hour of 3 different people looking up front and in the back for the missing second order I was told it couldnt be found. An associate ordered a new one for me but refused to ship to my home unless I reauthorization my credit card so I had to get sent to Grove City Home Depot yet again...still waiting for the item to arrive after about a month....
Always worth a minute to stop by. Love the drive up curb service also.
I want to thank Delaney who works in customer service at the Grove Citys Home Depot. She was so patient and went above and beyond to help me.
Had an awesome experience with great customer service with a young man who helped us pick out the perfect microwave, he was very patient with my mom going back and forth between 2 microwaves, and he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable wall the products!UPDATE: another awesome experience today thanks to Michael H. He was VERY knowledgeable about the 2 push lawn mowers we were considering.. he persuaded us to get the Toro push mower, after telling us the benefits.GIVE HIM A RAISE
Go here all the time. Only complaint is i can never find anyone in a department when i need something. Always have to go hunt someone down from another department so they can call the people i need.
Loved that they had what I went there for.
It took 90 days to plan our kitchen design. Been waiting on this that long. Then also to find out the installer wanted $8700. Benson done a great job designing it but im upset that it came out this way. 90 days to figure this out then another 8-10 weeks for cabinets!! After waiting all this time. STILL NO KITCHEN. I should have known if they could not of figured this out n 30 days it wasnt gonna get done. Here we wasted all this time. Very upset. We bought 2 kitchens thru them before but they couldnt figure this one out in a timely manner
Clean store. Courteous employees. My go to store for for items needed for repairs. Quick check out.
Very helpful staff thanks for a good job
Home Depot went to get some light bulbs no problem there I like going to home Depot the people are always friendly thats why I keep coming back great place to shop
Fine store offering wide variety of home improvement products. Wonderful curb service, locker pick-up availability, and good assistant services.
Great help today in the grill area.
Not impressed with the store. Spray paint area vacant of choices.
Little bit of a wait picking up order but nice staff.
Good place friendly people lots to look at.
This location does a great job of both customer service and keeping shelves stocked.
Online purchase of cordless trimmer. Did the car pick up and it was a bit clumsy, but worked out. Ryobi trimmer is great quality, unlike the last one I bought from them. This will be great, and can use the other attachments.
Whats not to love about Home Depot. A mans candy store
I ordered online a couple standing desks for work and I was pleased with the turnaround time from placing the order to the order being filled. I was given an estimated window of when I could pick the items up and they were delivered well before the estimated to me ended. I arrived at Home Depot to pick up my items and I would say within 10-15 minutes my items were delivered to my car. Excellent service from ordering to pickup!! Thank you. Blessings.
It’s a Home Depot. What are you expect? I will say that if you ask for help? Even if the person doesn’t know the answer to your question, he or she will find someone for you. Plenty of parking. It’s in a good area as well
I can usually find what I want here by researching it online first. Staff is mediocre as far as product knowledge, although they always have a good attitude and try to be helpful. Being in the trades, I might expect more from someone trying to explain product features and applications due to that.
I was not at all impressed. Went there for shark vacuum filters. The store info said they had them at this store. 20 minute drive for a lost cause.Started looking at prices for my next project, sorry I will stick with Lowes on that note.Isles were blocked, workers were pleasent.
STAY AWAY especially if ordering appliances! Go to Lowe’s or Big Sandy! Very unhappy with Home Depot currently. We ordered a dishwasher that was scheduled for delivery on 4/20. We never received communication as to this was delayed. No call, no email nothing. When calling to check the status the day it was to be delivered we were told it was just received to the warehouse and it would be delivered 4/21. When contacting customer service again, we are being pushed another week out. That’s extremely frustrating as NO communication to this was given if we wouldn’t have contacted them. Days wasted taking time off work. I honestly love Home Depot but after the lack of communication and then from their errors pushing us a week back instead of finding something sooner is also just insulting as a customer. UPDATE: so I never received my dishwasher again a week later (due to their lack of communication and error on their end with a zip code and loading it on the wrong truck. I was pushed again to the 30th and guess what NO dishwasher because though I spoke to their manager Josh at this store and he said he resolved the zip code error he didn’t. Spoke to a lady at their front desk and while she was speaking to an MDO and manager Wayne, they were getting me a refund that day.... guess what that didn’t happen either and here I am 4 days later still waiting. They don’t care about YOU you’re just a number to them. They wanted to push my delivery to May 11th after their mistakes and lack of communication for a 4th scheduled delivery. Big Sandy and Lowe’s were both able to get me something within 2 days AND better product for less!!!! Go elsewhere!!!!! BEWARE!
I love home Depot they are cheaper than lowes and has everything
Always very helpful when needed they helped me locate items I needed and helped cut my gutters to size too.
Store is always clean and pretty well organized. Got everything I went in for
I needed some lumber to repair an aging set of stairs in my deck. I had an idea of what I was looking for when I arrived but requested advice from a very friendly employee who was quick to list the pros and cons of each option. Great overall experience and will definitely be back to purchase the materials for my next project.
Penske truck rental It was in homedepot tool rental very nice people to help with the rental good experience overall
Customer service was good and bad. Some were attentive but couldnt actually help with what I needed. Then the ones that assinged to that department could find the items or tell me any substitutes. They were out of half the items I needed.
Good selection of items I beed
Staff are friendly. Luv the paint department and get lots of assistance and tips.Nice selection.
Charged me twice and now I have to go back to the store for my refund
Nancy (Customer Service Representative at the Pro Desk) was so nice, helpful, courteous, and professional. She would go out of her way to help you locate the item(s) you need. If they didn’t have it, she was quick to order the item(s) you need.Even though I live in Hilliard, I don’t mind driving to Grove City because I know that I can rely on Nancy whenever I need help.Thank you very much Nancy for helping me today.
Just love Home Depot they always have ever thing I need.😊
They help me fine what I was looking for
Pretty helpful staff working today that would actually interact with me, but I had to engage them first, otherwise they walked right passed me. Was able to find what I needed and the cashier was awesome!
In back of the building Home depot is taking up both sides, The semi truck unloads in the middle so you cannot access any other buildings that is in the plaza..... This is the 3rd time it happened to me so I know it happens to other people Good job home depot way to be rude
Home Depot is pretty much the same. Its my go to place for most home related products. I have noticed prices for wood has jumped considerably like many things in 2020. So Ive put some projects on hold when wood is the primary material. But other than that its still one of my favorite places to shop.
I give 5 stars to the nice, smiling, energetic Lady who rang us up. As for the man that was helping the customers in the aisle, he gets 1 star. His knowledge of the store sales and the tools that we needed were scarce. Not to mention he seemed as if he couldnt wait to get off work, like I was bothering him shopping in their store. Hopefully he was just having a bad day and is in better spirits next time.
I had a great experience at the Grove City Home Depot. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. One employee really stood out...Chris in the Garden Department. There was only thirty minutes left till closing...and Chris helped me to find several items throughout the store. So Great Job on Customer Service. First time I’ve shopped the Grove City location, but now it will be my preferred Home Depot. So nice to be treated like a customer should be!!!!
Great store. We went and got our Christmas tree there had wonderful supplies. Store very clean very little lines
Rented a wet/dry vacuum from here. Was told to bring it back clean or they would charge me to clean it. Got home and saw the inside was filled with filthy water and debris before I even used it. Still I cleaned it thoroughly before returning and wiped down the interior even. They still charged me a 5 dollar cleaning fee. I will never rent anything from here again
Hard to find staff, limited selection on certain things, but love the store & prices are still comparable
HAPPY. With. Service
High prices n no customer service.
I’ve had to come to this Home Depot for the past 2 wks and not once has anyone asked me if I needed help. I’ve worked at Home Depot and know that’s not the type of service anyone should get.Interestingly the owner of the home remodeling company I’m working with comes in everyday. I’m not from Grove City, OH. From what I’ve felt, it’s because we’re black and I will share my experience with anyone I ever come across because customers should not be treated like this. If you wondering if they are treating the rest of their customers the same, from what I’ve observe, absolutely not. This is why I’m led to believe it’s because of our race. Jerry just walked by my 4 different times, Angie at the front sized us up as soon as we walked in and did not greet us. Unacceptable.
Awsome,good service, products in stock
Not a huge fan of Home Depot, but this one seems to be better than most. You can find someone to help you. Good work with management.
Nancy from the Pro Desk was awesome! She went out her way to help me get things I have been waiting for 4 weeks from the Cincinnati, Hamilton Store . Thank you, Thank you, Nancy . It was worth the drive to Grove City ! Now my deck can be finished and we can enjoy the outside. Thanks, Angela
BBB Complaint ID#: 27816909Home Depot installed front and back exterior doors and storm doors. The Front exterior door is paper thin that the sun light can be seen shining through it. Home Depot passed the information off to the door manufacturer Jeld-Wen when sent me a email stating the door Home Depote installed was a Hollowcore interior only door the same door is used on the back door Per Jeld-Wen the Front door and Back door Home Depot installed are defective.3/23/21Came home opened door and the building material Home Depot used is now falling apart.4/8/2021So I have agreed to go with metal doors instead of the paper thin cheap Fiberglass doors that let the sun through from Jen-Weld. So they have now installed dented and scratched metal doors. Never letting Homedepot touch my home again.4/22/2021Home Depot came out replaced the dented doors come to find out the front door had a dent. Representative gave me a option to take up my time calling painters to paint both doors and repair the dented front door and Home Depot will credit me not liking the vague word credit. So called some profesional paint companies they are booked up until fall and I am not having a fly by night crack head with a paint brush walking into my house. I really think its kind of shady how Home Depot is trying to resolve this. I would also like to point out the Representative from Home Depot started to complain how much it is costing them to have their subcontracters to do a job right.4/29/2021Went to paint back door frame and found a jerry rigged sliver of wood sticking out of the door hinge. I added picture to the Home Depot photos I dont think it is regular procedure fitting a door.6/6/2021installers called stated I am supposed to inspect the door for dents before they can install it on 6/6/2021 first I heard about this I told them I was to busy no. So they came and installed new metal door 6/6/2021 door had dents in it. Finally the customer service person gave me a refund estimate that was ok the problem is I have not seen a dime of this refund money and its 6/17/2021. Home Depot is fast at taking and wanting your money but slow to refund you any of it to you. I have had faster refunds from Walmart and Paypal. So like I said first and last time Home Depot will be touching my house for any repairs.6/21/2021Was informed had to go into the store to get refund due to I used a debit card to pay. I found this a little odd since Lowes who was my first choice and kept on cancelling was able to refund my entire amount straight to my debit card without me visiting a store. But I got my refund my advice look over everything good that Home Depot installs.
The worst they told me twice that they had my ordered on my delivery date they did not have my item after the 2nd time I asked for my money back . now I. Still havent gotten my money back and they wont call me back . Guess I will have to go to my bank if my money isnt returned by tomorrow . Never again
Rude managers and poor service and limited products thats overpriced Ill go to Lowes from now on
The home depot is easy to navigate. Inside and out. Need to find something, ask an employee. Ive always had great recommendations from them.
While they do have a good selection on lawn mower parts there string trim/ blower parts section is dismal
Friendly, helpful employees.
I still think the people working there could improve their additude.
I love my Home Depot in Grove City! They always have everything I need, And because I have been going there now for the past 4 years I pretty much know where everything is at. Staff is always very friendly.
I had a great experience with an associate named CAT. She sold me a washer and dryer. She took her time explaining every question I had, and offered up great advice I will try this location again because we also purchased pest control products, and the associated was nice. Over all i had a 10 experience at this location. The store was clean and helpful.
Ive been in Home Depot mostly in Grove City and never been treated with the expert service as any of the Lowes I have been at, The help at Lowes South High it superior to any I have shop.If you dont need help and no questions go to Menards for the best prices. Im no pro but as a DIY have rebuilt Six houses into beautiful homes with their products and help.Dont seem to get much good advice or help as a rule at the Home Depot.
Great Store..Great Location...Very Convenient...Sometimes it is hard to get assistance when you need it?
Good prices and helpful people
My husband and I purchased a couch that did not for into our hatchback so we rented a truck from Home Depot. It was cheaper than Uhaul and the process was quick and efficient.
We went to pick up supplies for my husbands business and everything was changed around. That makes it super frustrating to be able to come in get whats needed quickly and get back to a job. Other than that the store was clean and restrooms were clean.
Busy! Theres a great feature that text the location of part you need to your phone. Makes shopping easier.
This Home Depot is right up the road from my house, but I have to be honest. I do not like shopping there for anything that I would need assistance with. The customer service is *mostly* abysmal, particularly for any larger projects. I have tried to buy an entire kitchen from them and was standing there ready to give them all of my money and the process was so long and tedious and the associates didnt seem to really have a lot of expertise to help with a new layout, so I eventually went elsewhere. I have also tried to buy a 5-platform composite deck from this location and the Pro Desk was the opposite of helpful. I apparently came at an inconvenient time for them. They were closing at 4pm that day for whatever reason (seemed like it was because nobody wanted to work past that time on a Friday). I heard one of the woman associates say Im leaving right at 4. I got places to be! and then proceed to ignore everyone in line since it was about quarter til 4. The one gentleman who was trying to help everyone took my number and said he would call me on Monday. Didnt happen. So I took my business to another location where they supplied me with thousands of dollars of decking. The Prodesk at the other location was actually helpful and knowledgeable and took the time on a very busy day to do the entire transaction over the phone (twice!). There was another time that I needed help cutting some plywood in store and aside from not being able to do basic math needed for calculating square footage (I finally was like, hey, this is what I need. Otherwise, I would not have had enough board.), the associate was clearly burdened by my board cutting request. I know these stores are busy right now, but the kitchen situation was probably at least 3 years ago, so this is a long-term problem. Only the decking experience was post-COVID. I have had some good experiences here with smaller requests, so some of the associates are perfectly decent and know their store well. But, a customer needs the most help with the big projects and thats where this store really fails, IMO. I prefer to take a long drive over to Canal Winchester. I have had a much better experience there.
Nice during weekdays when not slammed. One of the first stores to have fall mums. Friendly young man checked me out in the nursery. No lines.
They havent lowered their lumber prices yet. Oh well.
The incompetence is real. The willingness to help is low. I had to find some one took 10 minutes. Then I asked a simple question was told bring it in to compare. Went to Lowes got help with out looking for someone. Who was very knowledgeable for the department he works in. While answer my question he explains what the difference of the parts are. Trust me I will be canceling my home depot credit cards and get Lowes credit cards. String town road grove city Ohio
Had what I needed in tool rentals, and in trim boards.
I went to buy 2 light fixtures and they carry them but they were out of stock. The employee said they MIGHT get them by the 5th. I ended up going to Lowes and getting the lights and they were a few dollars cheaper. Sorry but Lowes is better..
I like this particular store; better stock for pros, and a very good crew.
Limited supplies and as online purchases grow in popularity. The space feels used but has charm and the staff is amazing. The people of this home Depot are the bright light. The staff is talented and smart. They have incredible experiences that go beyond the confines of the aging consumer center.
Had a lot of what I need hammers where very low. No smooth face hammers. plus they didnt have 2- 25 ft FatMax tape for twenty bucks on sale like other home Depot
Okay, except the Wi-Fi did not allow e-mail or anything else. My smartphone was connected with Excellent speed, but nothing.
Had most of what I needed but finding good help was hard.
I dont typically shop at HD because the CEO is a right wing as#%ole, but they have mushroom compost which is hard to find in Columbus. Staff was great. CEO needs to go and I would shop there more often.
