Items present in store are not always fresh and its highly recommended to check expiry dates. One of the guy is very rude and ill mannered. Although Customer Service is least expected but basic behavioral sense is also lost. Will not recommend this there are better stores like Desi Bazaar, Big Bazaar and Noor quite nearby. Neither the products are good nor the Service. Absolute disaster!!!!
Best place for indian groceries and sweets, specially try their samosas...they got their fresh vegetables on Tuesday and Wednesday, finally I got fresh gongura leaves
A typical Indian grocery and food take out and sweet shop.Has some fresh vegetabels. Not very organized store but thats typical of most Indian grocery stores. Vegetables in cooler seem ok but fridge was very dirty .They did have nice and fresh peas and grt looking mooli ( diakon).Since it seriously lacked cleanings I did not buy any Vegetables. The cashier gentleman is a very nice and friendly guy. Jalebi was not bad, it did have oiliness to it, that was kinda disappointing. Also got two other sweets that were disappointing. Seems like its a popular store because there was quite a few people in the store. Plus point is gentleman who is the cashier.
Not sure how it works but I went in a little after noon to get some items from their food counter and the 3 things I wanted (Samosas, Alloo Tikki, and Paneer Paratha) were either not going to be ready for 20-25 minutes or not available at all. Not sure how people can take a lunch break and get food there or if its better to call ahead. Even then though with all of the looks I was getting from every set of eyes in the place I might be better served to ask one of my Indian friends to go for me next time. The place looked nice enough and had lots of items and things Ive never seen before and would have loved to have had the time and comfortability to browse. Very strange experience.
They are doing a good job in keeping their aisle mainted and restocked regularlyA good place to get indian Grocery as well as snacks / SweetsTried the Milk cake from here and it turned out to be really niceNicely maintenaned place with good stock and multiple options
I called them regarding betel leaf (for puja) and the lady replied very rudely ( manu ni pata aakr khud hi dekh jao) I am too busy to reply you.
Food is excellent. We go here almost every week. Food is cooked for you (not from hot case) after you order and is very fresh. The best Punjabi food that we have ever tasted in US. Don’t go by how the place looks. People are warm and very helpful.
Other people might have difference in opinion to this review.I visited other stores and have been visiting Indian Bazaar ever since I shifted here. One of the HUGE PLUS which Indian Bazaar has over other stores is how they speak to customer. I have never seen any of the Indian Bazaar person being rude or not showing customer values, respect to their customers.
Prices are good. Could arrange items for easy find
Literally everything you could ask for as a Panjabi in a store!
Pretty good selection, but less variety of vegetables. But OK for local store
They sell the expired items too. Doesn’t bother to clean up the old stock. And there won’t be proper prices under the vegetables, mango lassi bottles.
Big Indian grocery store with a small cafeteria inside. All necessary Indian ethnic items are available. Aisles are narrow but racks are fully loaded. They also sell Indian sweets at the counter and quality is pretty good. Helpful staffs. Fresh produce section needs to be improved, less variety there.
Nice selection of Asian / Indian staples and treats.
Great service and very kind people.Samosa chaat was delicious and ample in quantity.
Best place for Indian samosas
Best Indian store
Check out process needs improvement, has good range of indian grocery
Been here a few times. I love their Samosas! And they are very reasonably priced! Finally venturing out and trying one of their curries. They smell delicious, and very excited to try it.The employees are friendly, and all the desserts and snacks we have tried we love. The more we go, the more we find ourselves going back!
Tasty food always... no complaints
Such rude people at counter, no manners at all how to talk to a customer. Dirty and sticky floors. Have been coming here for years but from past few months there customer service is horrible. Never coming back again ever. And learn some manners specially uncle and aunty on the counter.
All your Indian grocery needs can be fulfilled here. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They have a small eating area where you can get home cooked vegetarian Indian food, parathas are awesome.
Good selection of groceries, but some of the best Indian food around. Seriously, all the food is good. Get the chai.
Very organized, good variety of food with decent price tag. Owner is helpful. Fresh sweets and snacks are available. You can even order Indian food and have it in their small sitting area. Overall its a good place to buy grocery.
Great place for all your Indian supplies. Prices are at par when compared with other Indian stores in the city. You could find almost everything for day to day needs.
A great place for the Indian grocery. Staffs are nice n friendly. Well organized store. You can order delicious lunch or dinner here.
Good food, always bad inventory levels, specially dry and rotten veggies. Not much choices and not well maintained and definitely rude aunty managing. They r least bothered about customer service.
Very nice people, the aisles are full of so many yummy things. This is a great place for shopping and Fresh pastries. They Cater too!
Reasonable price for Indian imported food. Not too tidy. Storekeepers are very helpful and descent. Check expiry date before buying a product. I have found many pickles with long due expiry date.
Awesome experience..
Good quality groceries, not much variety available in the veggies. The people there are very friendly. They also serve good Chaat items.
The staff was helpful and friendly. They helped me find what I was looking for. And their fresh samosas were awesome!
Owner is very friendly alway greets with smile and help us find items. We can get almost every India grocery items here. We can request if we are looking for something specific and owner gets it available.
Indian Punjabi food is just amazing. Very cheap and you will get authentic paratha.
The people at cash counters are very rude, had the same experience two times straight. Infact the last time guy was eating on cash counter putting his finger in mouth and then without washing started billing items. The restaurant space looks congested and after having this exp never thought of having food here as you can make out the hygiene they will maintain. They will charge you card fee for purchase under 10 i believe without notifying. Will avoid this store going forward. There are better choices of clean indian grocery and restaruant in greenwood taken care by much informed and better people.
Deeply appreciate customer service. I was there on a day when kitchen was closed but owner specifically made a small batch of samosas for my son!
Indian grocery & vegetables shop. Every Wednesday fresh vegetables arrive. Has a small restaurant inside where they serve freshly prepared samosa & other snack items.

Price is bit high but everything is available as per Indian taste
Very good store and amazing food in the kitchen
Best place for your all kitchen needs
They have great spices and good prices.
I went to buy a basic item there recently and no one offered to help me. I looked around the store myself, then went up to the clerks at the front of the store. The workers said nothing and wouldnt look my way. My wife also had a similar experience there a month ago, they were rude and provided no customer service. I guess youre not welcome at this location unless you are of the same race.
Big indian grocery store and they have best indian to go food... groceries r bit expensive though
I love this place...especially their samosas and sweets...
Samosas, other Indian chat items, groceries, dining and varieties are good
This used to be a good store with decent service, not anymore unfortunately, I believe after certain sales threshold their rudeness kicked in as usual. Anyway, today was my last trip before I said goodbye to their rudeness, I just told this guy at register that the last coconut I purchased from him was rotten, and he rudely goes, Sir, ab mei iske andar to nahi tha, (Sir, now, I wasnt really inside it), (seriously? somebody needs to educate him that he is a vendor in a regulated/civilized area), I told him by that logic you are not liable for anything you sell, since you arent inside any item/packaging you sell here.Honestly, I wasnt expecting a refund or anything given it was just a matter of couple of bucks,I just wanted to inform him, since I have to drive almost 30 mins one way, finding anything bad at home is a big disappointment. Save yourself from disappointment, plan ahead and drive to Patel Brothers on north side for best prices, service, and items, going forward that is exactly what I am going to do.
Really good stuff very good food and very friendly people
I love them for the delicious chats.
Customer service rude
Authentic Indian street food and bakery with excellent prices.
