This place have great items and the store is full with what ever you need. Great employees they are so kind. Love shopping there. Very clean place too.

This is my number one place to shop if I go to the actual store. The store is always nice and clean and very easy to find what I am looking for. The staff is also always friendly and knowledgeable as well.

Has become my favorite grocery store. Always well stocked, organized and clean. Seems to always have enough checkout lines open so usually not much waiting in line

This location doesnt carry all the items that the Food Lion in town has. Doesnt have the amenities the store in town has. Clean store, nice staff

This food Lion is okay. They tend to have decent produce sales, you still will generally get better prices at Aldi and Lidl here in greenwood, but they tend to carry a lot more name brand items then either of those stores do, as Aldi and Lidl almost exclusively carry proprietary brands. (They are generally of higher or equal quality and they are both substantially Superior companies to most American run grocery chains because they pay and treat their employees a lot better? But thats neither here nor there)I typically only go to this food Lion for two very specific things, Utz sourdough pretzels, which cannot be found anywhere else in town, and the occasional steal of a sale in a weekly ad.Unfortunately the last few times Ive been their shelves have been basically bare. This hasnt been necessarily exclusive to food lion, as multiple other grocery stores in Greenwood have been suffering a similar problem, its just been especially persistent and noticeable in this food lion, which hasnt had what Ive gone in for in stock a single time in the last month and change. The staff is generally polite and helpful though.They do have a very small section where they carry seasonal plants, and that section is part of the reason why they are only getting a three-star: ***never buy plants from here***.They are usually an okay deal? But I have walked by that section several times and seen it completely overrun with mites, usually among the mini-roses, but whatever nursery they buy from is clearly infested, and if you bring that stuff into your house, expect all of your other houseplants to be as well. Before I started actually noticing the mites on their plants I made the mistake of buying what I thought to be a very pretty pot of yellow miniature roses, and got it home, sat it on the shelf with many of my other plants in the window, and 2 Days later every single plant on the shelf was completely infested with the mites.They do not purchase their plants from a quality nursery, and they charge the same or more for them than any other groceries or superstore that carries plants, which all are of higher quality. In addition to this, most stores that carry plants, especially stores that stock them near their produce section? At least pay enough attention to them that if there are visible mite webs, they will throw the plant away or treat it. This is not the case in this food lion. It was long after I learned the hard way not to buy plants from them, but I have seen that shelf completely full of plants that are all covered in mites.This isnt hugely problematic for them as a grocery chain? But it is a word of warning to anyone who might see pretty seasonal flowers and decide they want to bring them home, they are almost guaranteed to die and if you have other plants at your house, they will probably take your other plants with them.Even after intensive treating for the mites I was completely unable to salvage the roses, as well as two of my orchids and one of my other flowering plants, although most of my succulents and some of my herbs bounced back.

This is a brand new store thats scheduled to open on the 12th of May. Everything is brand new so everything looks awesome. The employees and managers are all awesome people especially Carrie.

I like the convince of shopping in a time crunch. (Compared to big stores like walmart) And the prices are usually good. Their pharmacy is amazing! The pharmacy knows me by first name and I usually never have to pay more than 20 dollars for a prescription. If theres a problem, they will fix it.The only thing I dont like is sometimes when I checking out in grocery, I get really rude cashier. Not often but sometimes. One young girl rolled her eyes when I finally said hey, how are you, because she never said anything when I walked up! No worries tho, Im sure she wont last long acting like that.❤❤Food Lion!!

Had to shop here due to my local Bi-Lo shutting down and apparently becoming a food lion in just a few weeks. Found their prices to be cheaper than Bi-Lo on their meats and other items, theyre meat selection is good and is top quality.

It was ok, some shelves and freezer items were empty, I guess the truck hadnt arrived

Went for some breakfast Hillshire Farm spicy sausage to go with some scrambled eggs at work thi s week. Saw Ruffles has a new flavor, Jalapeno Ranch, this has got to be good.

The store is a great place to shop and close to my house. The store manager needs to step up and stop letting customers park right in front of the store ( IN THE FIRE LANE WHERE YOU SHOULDN’T BE PARKED ) because there to lazy to park in a parking spot this would make it easier to park. No other groceries store allows this to happen why is it different here.

Ive not been in Food Lion in over a decade now. I decided to give it a try and found a two managers working in the freezer section. I walked up to the nice lady working and ask her where could I find egg rolls. The lady told me to hold on she went to the other manager and they both went right to it. She told me exactly where it was and little did I know but I walked right by them before I ever ask the manager. It was a pleasure to finally find a grocery store that I see even managers working and they will take the time and help you find the product you trying to find. My experience with this store is 5 stars and what a Blessing to finally be able to shop and have a great experience doing so!

After remodel, much nicer looking on inside. However, theyre not the best at keeping unsolicited requests for money etc. from happening in their parking lot or inside the store itself. They do offer Blue Moon 15 can packs though.

They must be having problems in their supply chain!! I tried unsuccessfully three times at two different stores to purchase advertised product and was told that their shipment was short. I think there are problems at corporate! How will they supply recently acquired BiLo stores??

Love the sales but could have more cashiers

Not an awful grocery store, they just didnt carry some of the items I needed. No big deal, on to another store. Store was clean and everyone seemed nice all but our cashier. She had and Im trying to hurry you along attitude. When something came along that the price wasnt marked on, she didnt call for help. She left the register and went and looked for herself. Also, with each customer that came through, I noticed and including us she scanned her own card instead of asking them if they had their MVP cards. Not very customer-oriented would be my best guess. That was only our cashier though, I wouldnt want to make a judgement against the rest of the staff.

I dont usually have any issues when I go to Food Lion until to day.. So I forgot my food lion card and I asked the cashier if she could put in the stores number for me please because I didnt know what number I had put because its been like 13 years. The cashier proceeded to tell me know that she would try all the numbers I gave her after 3 numbers that didnt work I asked her again if I could just use the stores and the cashier still said no, luckily there was a very sweet lady standing behind me in line who saw my frustration and let me use her Food Lion card! From now on I will just drive the extra mile to Walmart where this never happens because you dont need a card for savings!! Food lion needs to teach their employees to just go ahead and provide good customer service and enter in the stores number so they wouldnt have to lose a customer because this isnt the 1st time this has happened to me and someone else just went ahead and entered in the stores number with zero hesitation or attitude.

Never crowded, an excellent selection, and they have a great selection of fresh vegetables. They are open late unlike other grocery stores, and they always have something up front that is a managers special and very cheap. Never had any problems with exchanges or returns, and the staff is very kind. A lot of lander students work there.

Very clean and the employees are very friendly. They are also taking all necessary precautions to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
