Came into this store ring shopping with my mom. Approved the sales lady to go ahead and do a soft credit check to see what I could get approved for (ended up buying the ring elsewhere due to lack of quality and choice at Zales). ANYWAYS, I just received my new Zales credit card in the mail that I did not approve and somebody in the Zales store opened for me for whatever reason. AVOID AT ALL COST. SHADY PLACES LIKE THIS DO NOT BELONG AT A NICE MALL LIKE THE ONE IN GREENWOOD.
Horrible customer service by the manager. My wife has the warranty on her rings and Zales gave us a ring(not ours) that was 35% less value for our wedding. My wife had this ring for almost a year before a sales person caught the mistake because my wife had her ring cleaned. The manager was extremely rude and blamed this on my wife because she didn’t catch the mistake sooner, even though she made all the warranty check visits and inspections. The manager/Zales couldn’t make this right and felt the need to blame my wife for their mistake. So why do I have a warranty that Zales inspects the rings? What are they inspecting when they can’t even catch that it’s the wrong ring. 110% wouldn’t recommend anyone to purchase from Zales, as they’ll charge you for a very expensive ring and provide with one of much less value and then blame you!
After having issues with order online, I made the mistake ordering from this store. They sent confirmation they had my order ready and we live over an hour and half away. We loaded up to make an afternoon since it was a 44th birthday present. We get there to the manager on her phone giggling or something and the other lady tried to find the order. Needless to say, the manager stated she pulled it and it was there. She looked at camera footage - looked in area and under cabinet, couldn’t figure out what she did. She said maybe ups took it and tried calling them. At the end, she didn’t have it - didn’t know where it was and wasn’t helpful what do ever. The I’m sorry was it. A refund or wait was all I got. Meaning the trip was worth nothing. I explained the trip - she precede to tell me she drives over an hour in a day and tried to tell me she understood how I felt. Unfortunately, she doesn’t and the situation just went from there. I won’t recommend this store or Zales at this point because they apparent don’t care about a new customer or an old customer. Good luck to whom ever goes here! Buyer beware!

Ok first off Zales has just went to pot. Now about this store and the air headed people that work there…. I ordered a ring online to pick up at this store for my wife’s birthday . Drove a hour and a half to pick it up because according to the website it was ready. Got to the store and the blonde chick which I guess was the store manager (Tiffany) couldn’t find the order. She didn’t know what she did with it maybe ups got it she didn’t know. Well Tiffany if you would pay attention to your job instead of having your head in your cell phone this customer wouldn’t have wasted his time. So needless to say I have no ring and she understands my frustration and like I told her at the store”you have no idea of my frustration “
Manager and Staff have horrible customer service and exhibited the same unprofessionalism with a Zales Customer Service Rep that was seeking to resolve the issue. Will be filing a formal complaint with Zales Corporate. Upset that I had to give them the 1 Star I had no choice but to give; customer service at this store is definitely below a zero.

Im not one to complain, however, my first experience with this Zales will definitely be my last. When I walked in, I wasnt greeted or even acknowledged the first time. I had to ask for assistance and the guy, who looked to be the manager, stared at a blank computer screen the entire time and didnt even look up. I got one smile on the second of two visits from a nice woman who helped me with my transaction.I paid $135 to have 2 rings sized down and one of them was to be engraved. Upon receiving my items, one ring had black soot under the diamonds that the repairman didnt clean off and the one I had engraved didnt have the metal purity mark on the inside of the band anymore! The engraving job was horrible to say the least. Two of the 15 letters were half hanging off the band and the last four were almost not even there, barely etched into the metal. The writing was also very sloppy and unfortunately I couldnt get a good look at it until I got it home.Once I got in better lighting, I could see that the letters were different sizes with very large spaces. If you want a sentimental keepsake engraved, do NOT take it to these people. I didnt expect perfection, but I certainly expected better than that from a large name jeweler. My expensive ring, that was to be a meaningful gift TOMORROW, now looks like nothing more than costume jewelry and now I dont have time to take it back to be reworked :(

My fiancé and i went in and tried on rings and the lady was incredibly helpful and kind. She made it so exciting. When he went back to buy the ring he said he got the exact same service from her and was satisfied. Today i went back to get a spacer for my ring and not only did the lady ignore me but she didn’t speak when i told her what i needed and was incredibly rude with her body language and facial expressions. She made it seem like i was bothering her. She then took my ring and walked to the back of the store and got upset when i didn’t follow her to go sit down somewhere. When i got the hint she wanted to me come sit in a different part of the store she said “is it really big or no” and i said yes. She put the spaced in, handed it back, and immediately walked away, not asking if it was okay. When i asked if it cost anything she said “nope” and turned her back to me to walk away. Definitely will never be returning and this place should probably be shut down because of the terrible service
We were so excited to have found a band online in our price range! When we went into our location to buy it we were treated poorly and made to feel belittled by our budget since we were buying a ring on sale. Sadly left today feeling down and without the ring.
We did not feel welcomed, not one person greeted us or even made eye contact to acknowledge we walked in. My fiancé and I went in to order the right sized ring, the ring we had was a size in a half to big. They told us we needed to just resize the ring. I was told by other jewelers that you aren’t supposed to resize it more than a whole size. This will cause damage to the settings And the diamonds will fall out. On top of that they failed to tell us we needed to bring in the ring every 6 months for a cleaning and to check The diamonds for the diamond bond or else they will not cover the diamond if it falls out. EVEN WITH THE LIFETIME GUARANTEE. So you are telling me that they want us to resize the ring and damage the settings and not guarantee us when the diamonds fall out if we don’t come in every 6 months? Called another location and they said it’s not even available to order the ring in a 5.5 only a 6! Not pleased at all with this location!! We called the Plainfield location and they were more then willing to help figure things out. Go there instead!!! Ask for Kathy at Plainfield she is an honest employee that represents her company well.
I enjoyed the staff, think it comes down to personal taste. Wasnt able to get what I needed (Im very picky) but Charla helped me out the best she could, going through all the options that were available. Wish I found what I was looking for.
Took our ring in to get sized. Not only did it take 3 weeks to be done, the associate told us that it would be done by a certain date. Called a week before said date, once again confirmed that it would be in. Date comes, and no ring. We scheduled an engagement photo shoot and had to cancel because of the late ring arrival. Cost us 500.00 to cancel. Charlotte, the sales associate at Greenwood Park Mall Zales, proceeds to tell us that No one here told you that date, youre wrong. No apology, no Im sorry you were given false information. No one from Zales has contacted me about the issue. I dont know if Charlotte was having a bad day or what, but this location will not give you the best customer service you deserve.
Don’t ever go to this store. Very bad customer service and they were really rude. I bought necklace and ring for my mom. After two weeks of wearing the necklace, my mom didn’t like the necklace because it was bothering her neck so much that she couldn’t wear the necklace. We decided to take it back to the store and replace it with a new one. They were not happy with our reasons as to why we had to replace it. Then the lady that helped us she was an old lady, she started to ignore us. Just DONT go to this store.
The woman and man saw my husband and I walk in. They helped two people that came in after us then decided to finally ask if we wanted to see anything. The woman was very short with me like she wanted to hurry up and get me out of the store. We wont be returning to Zales after their horrible customer service!
Been waiting a month and a half for a refund for an item that was “lost in transit”. Can’t get ahold of anyone on the customer service team that knows what there doing or can give me an answer. Awful customer service
Horrible service! Bought a gold chain and a wedding band and the clasp broke after 2 months and the same diamond had came out of the ring twice.
I purchased a couple pieces of jewelry from this Zales in the Greenwood Park Mall. Both of them eventually needed repair. We bought warranties when we bought the jewelry. The workers at this store didnt put the information into their system correctly so we had to prove to them we had warranties after an hour of them bumbling around in their computer system. When we went to pick up the jewelry, they couldnt find it because - again - they didnt put it into their system correctly. Last night, for example, they called us at 4pm to say a ring was back from being repaired (five stones had fallen out, so that gives you an idea of the quality). I went to pick it up at 6. There was one lady working when I went in and she was working on a sale. I was standing there for 10 minutes and she saw me but never said Ill be with you in a moment or anything. She completely ignored me and other people shopping in the store because she didnt want to interrupt her sale. Completely unprofessional. Finally, a second lady appeared. She said she had just come from the restroom. I really did not need to know that but didnt say that. I told her I was there to pick up a ring. I gave her my number, my wifes number, and our name. She couldnt find it in the system. My wife said, But you called us at 4! The lady behind the counter said, Oh, we JUST called you? Then its in this drawer. No, lady, you didnt JUST call us...it was 2 hours ago! Why isnt the stuff in that drawer in the system at all?!?! Then, when I finally got to see the ring, it is still missing a stone! I pointed out the empty socket and the lady says, That spot is supposed to be empty. We left the ring there until we can talk to a manager, hopefully soon. DO NOT SHOP AT THIS ZALES!!!
I love my love charm from there. I also bought a solar watch that is only sold exclusively at this store that always keeps time and is waterproof for swimming. The store personnel were very helpful in the selection, educating me about my watch and warranty during this purchase.
Theyve implemented a lot of safety precautions which involve disinfecting rings prior to handling them. They are open with limited hours.
I would give a negative star but I am unable to. I purchased my wifes wedding and engagement rings 15 years ago along with Zales lifetime warranty. I have taken the rings in every 6 months to get checked. Just went back to Zales to get my wifes ring resized and I was told I would have to purchase a new $200 lifetime warranty to get it resized. I will never do business with Zales again. You have lost a loyal customer. Good luck surviving if this is how you treat your customers.
Bought my wife’s wedding and engagement rings from here and the smaller stones are constantly falling out. I have the warranty with it but it takes a month at a time for them to fix it before we get it back. I asked them what we can do to help stop the ring from losing diamonds and she recommended not wearing it. As soon as I can afford a new ring we will go elsewhere.
If you are looking to waste hours of your life trying to survive an employee scamming you, and wait months before you get an acceptable product, this is the company to buy overpriced jewelry from.
My wedding band has lost 5 diamonds in less than 2 years! We take my rings in every 6 months for inspections for insurance, as well as every few months for cleanings/inspections when at the mall. Everytime a diamond falls out they take my ring for months and promise to tighten everything while they have it. Yet the diamonds still continue to fall out. I do not wear my ring when showering, cleaning, sleeping, dishes, ect yet its constantly losing diamonds from the band. I honestly wish we would have never purchased my wedding set from Zales. Not only does their quality suck, but their customer service is the worst. You wait forever in an empty store and once someone decides to help you they are very short and rude. I will never recommend this store to anyone.

The store was totally empty and we stopped in to have my ring size, the guy who helped us acted like we were bothering him, excuse me for coming in when your slow. I will be driving back to Cincinnati when its time to start searching for wedding bands at least they are friendly!
Salesman asked to prequalify me for financing that did not hit my credit and instead he ran my actual credit so i get a alert of a new inquiry from Equifax
