The Midas is Greenwood, Indiana is fantastic. Always very professional and friendly. They never try to find or list items or things you dont need done. Work is always done and done right! I would definitely recommend them to everyone. If It Is something they cant do. They will find a few great options for you.

I had brought my truck in to have my oil changed and have new brake pads and rotors installed, it was a complete disaster. In all honesty I would have given this review one star, but I appreciate when a company can acknowledge their mistakes and make efforts to make things right. After I had my car serviced, I drove off and I noticed the car was kind of shaking, it almost felt like one of the wheels were about to fall off, so I brought the truck back to the shop, and come to find out the technician who was working on the truck had forgotten to take the plastic film off the new rotors.. kind of annoying, but no big deal, it was a simple fix and they sent me on my way. But that wasnt the end of it. I didnt drive the truck the next few days, but when I eventually did, the truck reeked of burning oil and there was white smoke billowing from under the hood. I popped the hood of the truck to find the oil cap was never put back on and oil had spilt all over my engine. Fuming, I brought the truck back and told them what had happened, they appologized and told me the technician who had serviced my vehicle would be reprimanded. They cleaned my engine up pretty well, topped off the oil, and offered to do my front brakes and rotors free of charge, which I accepted. I would consider returning in the future, solely based on how they reconciled the situation.

Went in for an oil change and ended up finding out some major issues with my front end chassis. Of course they wanted to fix it for $xxxx, but Im a mechanic so I was able to fix it for $xxx. I appreciate theyre knowledge and helpfulness

Brake fluid was black instead of clear, they fixed that and cleaned and adjusted the rear brakes. Battery was half dead so I had them replace the with a new DieHard

Took car in for tune up....ask them to look at belt and pull code for check engine light....they instead took apart and now I have a vehicle making a noise and leaking antifreeze. They never looked at belt or pull codes. Thanks for making my car worse and I would never trust you to repair a vehicle especially for thousands of dollars. This is what gives mechanics a bad reputation. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR VEHICLE!

Quality service at a fair price

I was greeted and treated with respect and polite attitudes of everyone who helped me. Good customer service and great work on my vehicle in a timely fashion.

I felt well taken care of at this location! My splash guard became loose and they were able to fix it in under and hour without an appointment. Other locations I had called said they were too busy to fit me in today. Very thankful to have gotten in and out quickly!

My past couple experiences with flushes and rotations have been very positive, which is the only reason for the 2 star review instead of 1. Brought my truck in to have a repair to the exhaust, which they said couldn’t be repaired due to rust and that the muffler must be replaced. I didn’t think this was the case but gave them the benefit of the doubt, hoping they had the integrity to not take advantage of me. I asked for the original muffler to be put in the back of my truck when done. Keep in mind, I worked for another Midas in the past and am currently a heavy truck mechanic with over 10 years experience in auto repair, metal fabrication, and welding. I brought it here because I didn’t want to lay on my back in my driveway, cutting and welding my exhaust myself. Nearly 5 hours later, while waiting in the lobby, my truck is finished and I inspect it and the welds look horrible. Additionally, I inspect the old muffler and see that it ABSOLUTELY was salvageable if they simply would have cut 1/2” of metal off of it and welded a new pipe to it. The muffler itself, and even 2-3 inches of pipe on the inlet and outlet were COMPLETELY sound and 85-90% corrosion free. The front desk attendant gave me a $30 discount for having to wait so long because it really was an hour and a half job tops. Regardless, I paid $240 and was deceived into thinking my muffler was trashed. This is why I asked to keep the old one. The muffler was only 5 years old and the only part that was corroded to the point of needing repair was the weld seam and the sections of pipe that I requested to be replaced. Good job Midas, you got me.

Ive had my F-150 at Midas many times. They have resolved several different issues for me. They are knowledgeable, experienced and reliable. Their prices are comparable to other repair shops in the area, which is all I can ask. Oil changes are quick and inexpensive. Plus, you can go eat at Olive Garden nextdoor while you wait!

Had car sent in for repair they did fix the issue but they messed up 3 out of 4 dash vents took it back to have that fixed and complete denial they messed them up in the end they fixed 2 of the 3 vent and said there is nothing else they can do about it so if you dont want more issues than you went in for I would say go some where else

They broke the tye rod on my vehicle and my mothers as well. Both of our vehicles are currently broke down.

Took 1.5 hours for an oil change on a day they were supposed to not be busy. The asked if I wanted to replace a cap on the car and I said yes not knowing it would take another 50 minutes just for the cap. That was never mentioned.I can’t even recommend oil changes.This location always runs over in time and money.

Great for oil changes. Absolutely tried to break the bank on my other car needs. In this instance my starter and struts. They wanted $700 to change my starter, $551 of that was just the cost of the starter. After my discount at Oriely who I highly recommend over other Auto parts stores I paid $138 dollars. They wanted over $1100 hundred to do my struts. Almost $900 of that was the cost of the struts. After the discount at Oriely I paid $227. The price gouging is outrageous. And a lady who was there working her first day, made the comment of how else do you expect us to keep the lights on. They were asking $200 plus dollars alone for the cost of the starter, I know because I seen the suggested price for what the shop should charge for a starter which was $325 dollars. What a shame. I will not return, even for an oil change. I ended up paying just under $558 dollars for parts and labor. They wanted $551 just to order my starter.

They broke a piece of the interior door panel when replacing the side window. then said it was already like that. I wouldve noticed pry marks on my panel before dropping it off. then after looking at it further, they broke the clip that holds it into place too so now its hanging. they offered me 25 bucks to go to junkyard to get a replacement. district manager said thats all he can do and wont admit blame. I shouldnt have to get a junkyard part for the car I love and take care of. this is outrageous and I wish there was some sort of justice I could seek. I will never be back.

Great place you can trust. I went to another midas location in town over the summer to get some work done and found out later that they missed something when putting it back together. I took it into this location and they fixed it no charge and no question asked. I have had some other work done here. They fit me in same day and while working on it found something else that needed replaced. Since they did not quote it they only charged me for the part no labor. I have another vehicle that I have had them quote some work on and will be back soon to have them do it.

My husband took his blue Saturn ion in to get the gas line worked on because it was leaking gas severely. Had to get more work done on his car recently because a car part had been stolen off it. Geico just called to tell us that nothing had been replaced, just a “bandaid” was placed over the problem!! Highly unprofessional.

Brought my car in to get resonator deleted and add hangers, after being asked to make sure it’s all up there and good and tight I get my car back around their closing time after they’ve had it since 1 and didn’t touch it till 5 they did not add a hanger on the very back that was no longer attached to the muffler and they did not weld another hanger to the car in the mid section that was rusted off the chassis all he did was put the rubber to hold the muffler around the 2 hangers near the front of the car that were in good condition but did need the rubber hanger to bring them together... I wanted hangers for my muffler to stop hitting the ground they did not help that.

Just bought a 2013 Equinox. Josiah said not to worry they can fix it. He told me not to take it back to Beck Toyota. He even said, looking me in the eye that he would make sure my car doors were locked that night.The car doors weren’t locked that night! A week and a half later my car stops in heavy traffic w my elderly mom. We had to wait two hours on a busy highway for AAA to pick us up and tow it back to Midas. $6,000 for a used engine. No apologies. No refunds. Don’t trust them to properly diagnose your vehicle.

By far the best auto shop in greenwood I have ever been too great service and they do great work on cars!! When I didn’t understand something they would show it too to help me understand if your going to other auto shops you need to stop what your doing and goto Midas I grantee you won’t regret it!!

With hundreds of other places to have work done on my truck one of the most important things I look for is-professionalism customer service and of course cost. At this location they have it all. The manager is exceptional and his staff is fantastic. Believe me I value my vehicle

Had my tire pop josiah was able to help me get it fixed and he did an excellent job.

They did the work I paid them for. Im not really sure it was well done. Windshield wiper fluid was empty after an oil change. I had the front valve stems replaced and they did a good and complete job on that. Overall, I think they do good work, but maybe suggest additional repairs that are not as urgent as they imply.

Was over a hour behind so had to reschedule. With my oil change they was supposed to rotate my tires and they didnt now have to go back a 3rd time to have that done my time is valuable and they dont act like there customers matter making them come back 3 times

Bought a used car, took it for an alignment and oil change, well they found some problems that had to be fixed, and they did the job and at a very fair price too. Youve earned my business from this point on!

120 dollars for them to fix nothing and had to pay more to tow it home then they didnt put everything back together and Im missing a bolt and nuts now on my motor. Take your vehicle elsewhere. Employees are nice just not sure you can trust the work.

Was quoted one price when I made the appointment then given one way higher the next day. I also had a tire rotation and they left two of the tires at 28 pounds so I guess you have to ask for them to be aired up.

They are about the dumbest ass mechanics out there. They left my radiator cap off my car and return it to me that way. Who do you really want to trust with your car not Midas. David the one that works there was one to blame. And the job was there was a cracked radiator and I did it myself in the job was not even finished. It turned out to be a bad thermostat. You go figure dont take him to Midas. And Kevin was the mechanic that was working on my car.

While my headlights and oil were successfully changed, we found the old headlight bulb on my windshield later that day and a SCREWDRIVER under the hood a few weeks later. The mechanics looked frazzled, especially one who seemed to be doing all the work. If they are careless enough to leave parts and tools on/in the car, it just worries me how well the rest of the job was really done.

I went in for an oil change and not even an hour later my truck was overheating and making noises under the hood. I opened the hood and antifreeze was sprayed everywhere.They didnt put the radiator cap back on completely, and the fan is really loose. I didnt even have a problem before I went in. I just needed an oil change. They told me to bring or tow my truck back up there so they could look at it. Im not paying for it to be towed and I wouldnt be able to drive it back up there just for them to charge me more money. Worst place ever!

I got my rear brakes/calipers redone here and they didn’t even screw half the lug nuts of the tire back on...

Called Greenwood Midas to get a price on installing a muffler that I would be purchasing and bringing in. Spoke with Jeff and was quoted a ridiculous $250.00!! This would mean that they charge $166.00 an hour for labor. LMAO!!! I called Plainfield Midas before them and was quoted $16 . Please stay away from these idiots. I will be calling Midas Corp to report this price gauging.

Great Service. Staff was good, Explained the condition of car and cost of reapir, options very well. I think I was provided with proper advice about my car. It wasnt like Sucking money out of me to get things done which are really not necessary. Flexible timings. And Very quick service. Break pads service with life time warranty.! Free diagnostics & estiamtion about any leakage problem.! Right on 31 south, No wifi, Smoke free zone. Limited sitting space. Ample of parking and easy access to city mall and food services. Highly recommended place for Car repair and other services.

Every time I take my truck in there for something when I leave something else is wrong with. I had them do upper ball joints on the left side the next day the brakes on that side started to make noises I think they didnt clean off my rotor when they put it back together and got grease or dirt on them. In 2015 I took it in there for brakes and other things when I picked it up and it ran worse than it did before I brought it in. I push all the plug wires in tightly and it seemed to run a lot better then after a week it started running better. I think whoever test drove it drove really hard. There trying to rip me off by making me think something else is wrong with it and have to go back there. Im done with midas only problem cant trust any of the others either

Went to have breaks checked and oil changed.. After picking it up I checked under hood just to find out my oil was never changed. Guess you better check if they even do what you pay for.. Never returning..

Went in with a $25 coupon for oil change and tire rotation.. Seemed like a good deal.. They charge my $65 because they said my car calls for full synthetic.. I have had the car three years and never put full synthetic, why would I now? Its an economy car, not a high performance..Manager says he was sure he told me, I am sure I always tell everyone. He never told me of the oil they were using. I had to ask him, after I gave him my keys what oil they use. Shell, everyone uses shell. Was his response, not shell platinum, or full synthetic shell...Heard the manager and techs talking about break pads for a Mazda 3 turbo.. They had the wrong pads brought over because they didnt tell their supplier it was a turbo, so they quietly decided to put the pads on that did not have the clips as required by the Mazda 3 turbo... Bet they didnt tell the customer they were making them fit, as they did their supplier on the phone.. Was a huge bait and switch, I would never recommend this place to anyone. I would double check any of their work... Many better reputable places in the area.

I took my car to this Midas for a while. They have convenient hours and their staff seemed to be honest about what really needed immediate attention on my car without pressuring me to make additional repairs. That said, once they put the wrong part on my vehicle. Most recently, I asked them to check out my engine because the car was starting rough and the check engine light came on. They replaced the plugs and some wiring, which changed nothing. 2 days later, I took the car back in and they replaced the plugs, which were cracked. I kept having the same problem and check engine light, so I took the car to a Goodyear place. They seemed surprised that Midas hadnt told me about the computer code that made it clear which engine piston was misfiring. They put in a new coil and the problem is solved. Needless to say, I will not be going back to Midas.

After taking my Avalanche in for a replacement compressor. I get a call midway through the repair saying my water pump is leaking. I’ve had the truck for a year and have never seen water coming from it. 500 for that. Then picking up my truck my gas gauge and digital readout on my cluster is out????? My gas gauge has always worked. New Cluster no a rebuilt cluster 400 so after paying 850 for my compressor. These two things just appeared. I’m sorry but this is not right. I don’t trust this place anymore. I feel like I’m getting upsaled for truck repairs. Not happy at all with Midas.

About 10 months ago a friend recommended I check out this Midas to get some exhaust work done on my vehicle. Im glad he did. Ever since this is always where I take my vehicle when work is needed done on it, I have had 3-4 oil changes done here, but that is just the start...yeah my car is kinda old and sucks. Anyway some of the work Ive had done here includes:1. 7/21/16 - Rear Exhaust Hanger Replaced2. 11/2/16 (Cubs won the World Series this day) - Installed new front brake pads and calipers and performed front caliper slide service3. 8/1/16 - Had a maintenance package done on my vehicle where they told me all of the things wrong with my vehicle. Yaaay!!!! All of which have been fixed except for one which I plan on doing this summer.4. 2/11/17 - Oil Sending Unit Replaced5. 5/6/17 - Flushed transmission fluid and replaced filterEvery time I go in they are very friendly and helpful. Josiah is always very helpful and always makes it a point to shake my hand when I am leaving after the service has been completed. I will definitely continue to take my vehicle here.

Very slow workers all around the shop, seemed like rehab gentlemen? Was there 7 hours for a 3 hour supposed issue with Transmission condensor, very lackadaisical individual working on my vehicle. Hope my billing does not reflect on his labor.

I was Not greeted when I walked inside, And there was a guy just sitting in a chair while another was taking a call. The idle employee didnt say hello or one moment etc. The coffee maker was empty when i went to make a cup. I scheduled an appointment for 930am online for a alignment and muffler service. Left keys, and 6 hours later I called at 245pm to see what was taking so long. They told me they would get around to it as soon as possible. They had not even seen it yet. They close at 6pm. Thank god i didnt sit in there waiting room. Worst bunch bunch of idiots. I told them dont bother looking at it. I will be in to pick it up. Zero stars. Dont go here!

They told me the stuff in my oil was just old oil when really it was because my head gasket was blown. Wasted 105.81 on an oil change and a flush just to have to have it done again and also replace the head gasket and breather box. Thanks Midas 🤦🏼‍♀️

I went here about a month ago and paid for a brake fluid flush. I recently went to goodyear to have my car serviced for some other things. During the service they do free inspection of the whole car and they told me I needed a brake fluid flush.

Rude lazy service, they dont treat you right when have an appointment they get you in hours later they take a very long time and over price your vechile

Brought my truck here for a huge job, was given an estimate price, put a deposit down on the work, and then left it with them. They left my truck outside after specifically instructing them to make sure it is in the garage, so i had all of my radio equipment stolen. After this happened, I was told what work was already done on the job and that the job wouldnt be completed due to no technicians wanting to work on it and that they didnt want to take responsibility for such a large job. They gave me back all of my things in pieces for me to deal with, and were so gracious as to refund my deposit as to not even returning the vehicle in to the condition it came in. If i had to say anything do not go to this midas, or the one on meridian near southern plaza. They are owned by the same person and was totally screwed over by the owner himself not even restoring what was lost or putting the vehicle back in working order. Even told me if i would like to sue him for what i lost, that he would make sure it stays tied up in court and wastes my time.This is after being a customer for over a year of time and getting a lot of work done. The general manager is more than just unprofessional, but incompetent and the owner is a greedy money grabber who will screw you to make a dollar.

Plz dont take your car this place because they dont know how to fix it the car plus they order you cheap parts and they charge you more money.

I was 10 minutes early for my appointment that I made 4 days in advance. I waited an hour and 15 minutes, and they still hadnt even brought my car in to a bay. So, I left very unhappy.
