Ryan went above and beyond what we expected helping us in a bad situation. We were stuck in the drive thru at Culvers and he came over several time to try and help us. We had to have our car towed to his shop. He had assessed the problem and was able to fix our car quickly. We appreciated his honesty and help very much. We will definitely return here for anything we need in the future.

Kevin an Micah run the desk and they wont steer you wrong. If repairs or maintenance are needed, they provide a clear timeline and pricing is reasonable. Compared to dealer rates, theres money to be saved here and they wont fix it if it aint broken, so no unnecessary spending!

I have been a customer here for 10 years. I feel.like they always quote me a fair price upfront and the work is always done in a timely manner. Kevin and Micah always greet me by name when I drop my car off and are always friendly.

Appreciate the fact that they didnt try and sell other things when I went in to have a bent lower control arm replaced. Great price for the replacement, alignment and 2 new tires, and got it done quick. Would recommend.

I went in because of the tire going low I expected to pay a whole lot more than what I did. After going to several other businesses that wanted to tell me I had to buy a new tire I had stopped by and talked to Micah he not only fix my tire put a smile on my face and charge me nothing my father used to tell me about places like this I am 50 now and Ive yet to see one until today thank you so much. This place beat Christian brothers on a rear suspension by over $1000 for the repair. Got it done quick too! I’ve referred lots of people to them since. Btw this was earlier 2020

All the guys in the shop go above and beyond here! Been bringing them cars since 2016 and Micah and Kevin have always been right there to help when needed and always go out of there way to help that extra jump! Service is always top notch! From oil change to engine repairs they’ve got you covered.

Micah is very personable. His customer service is superb. He communicated everything about my service exactly. As long as he is there I will take my car, my wifes car, and my daughters car there.

I would recommend this location to anyone; all of the staff members I encountered were friendly and professional. Considering how busy they usually are, the environment is pretty relaxed. They dont try to push you into buying things you dont need at the moment, and give you an accurate run-down on the estimate prior to doing any work on it. The prices are very competitive, and they offer great financing options for those of us who cant afford 4 new tires all at once. My car was ready in good time, especially considering the work I had done on it. They were able to get me in the same day I called. Now my car rides like a dream, with the new tires, balance, and alignment. Great quality service, and a shout out to Micah for being so informative and helpful!On a random side note... this location is complete with one of those cute little candy dispensing machines in the lobby! Happy customer here. Fair market prices, good service. Dependable people. One tip: If you dont want to wait, just drop your vehicle at 7 am on the morning and you will be taken care in no time. Dont expect to stop by around lunch time and get an express service. After all, they are humans like us.

My wife and I have been taking our cars to this location since the first day they opened for business. We have 4 cars in our family, so when we need work done, honesty and value for the money spent are of tremendous importance. Micah, Doug, Kevin and the mechanics have always done great work. On rare occasion, if there is an ongoing issue after a repair, these guys will do what is necessary to make it right. If you live in the area, this should be your go-to repair and maintenance shop.

I have been going there for a long time they treat veterans wonderful they usually always have some kind of discount for us everyone that works there is so nice to everyone and knows their job well I also appreciate them being very kind two women many places discard women acting as though they know nothing the people at Car-X do not do that

I cant even begin to describe how wonderful the staff and service are here. I took my car for routine maintance at a local auto and tire shop, and was told I needed several thousand dollars worth of repairs. I literally called 14 repair shops, all of which were very high. Car X was the last place I called, and I am glad I did. Micah was terrific with listening to me when I explained what the competition said I needed, and that while I needed to work done, I couldnt afford to do it all at once. He understood, and gave me suggestions on what to do to the vehicle until I could take it. When he quoted the price, it was far less that the other prices I got-even from Mom and Pop places. When I took my car in a couple of weeks later, the parts and labor were more than expected, however, Micah made sure to stick as close to the quoted price as he could, which meant the store actually took a loss on some of the work on the car. Harry was the mechanic who worked on my car, and even stayed past closing time to finish up and make sure everything was working as it should on the vehicle. When Harry told me of a small repair that needed made, he again took extra time to fix it. As someone who lives paycheck to paycheck, I cant begin to describe how much it meant that they werent just out to make a buck. I was treated like a person, and not just dollar. I will never take my vehicle anywhere else again.

I had a heck of a time with an older vehicle. Both Micah and Andy were SO amazing! Not only have they gone above and beyond any other place I know of in car repairs and knowledge, they really outdid themselves with helping an older woman out of a tight spot. Micah “paid it forward” and he had no idea that his one act of kindness reduced this gal to tears! His kindness and attitude really shined! Andy was so amazing the way he took care of me today and finally helped me get this old vehicle taken care of! Andy has the great ability of making someone laugh and feel better during a really stressful time. I will only take my vehicles to this place from now on! Last week I called the Greenwood CarX inquiring about how much it would be to replace my brakes. I believe I spoke with Kevin that time and he was very friendly and informative which I really appreciated. He set me up for an appointment to check the brakes out for free. When I realized I needed to change my appointment and called back to do that, he answered again and was very accommodating and positive about it which made me feel at ease about having to ask! Today I went in and they checked everything out and Micah was there. Jake (Jack maybe?) was the one working on my car and he told me all the details about what I would be looking at if I chose to go ahead and replace the breaks, offered to show me them as well to back up what he was saying which I truly appreciated! Then they worked on my car and while I was waiting Micah was making sure I was okay in the waiting area, turning on the tv if I wanted to watch it. He made easy conversation with me which made me feel like he cared! Once the service was finished Jake/Jack let me know that everything was good to go with confidence and a smile. Micah checked me out and I was very glad to have been treated so kindly! They even helped me out with a few discounts that I had not expected! I’ll be using the Greenwood CarX from now on! Hands down the best customer service I have ever experienced at car shop. I get my oil changed here exclusively; they have reasonable prices and offer discounts as well. The friendly staff (its typically the same guy every time Im there) makes it a good experience. They only mention things that need to be addressed, not constantly up-selling like most other places. The only thing is you have to make an appointment, very difficult to get walk-in service (except on Saturdays, thats walk-in only). But it is worth it!

How they get so much done in a small building is amazing! I own multiple vehicles like a lot of people and these guys take care of all of them. Great service at a great price. New lifetime brakes and rotors all the way around on my 2003 explorer.Paid less than half of dealer repair prices for the brake job. Stops great, no vibrations, no squeels...You guys need to teach the stop 11 / 31 location a lesson in customer service. Youre top notch!

Was told over the phone that their was no wait time, watched my vehicle for over an hour... still sitting in parking lot. Finally, decided to call for ride... no telling how long it was going to actually take.No people skills from desk, or for that matter mechanics. Spending $$$.$$ at least on my vehicle, and not even a smile to be found from anyone in establishment. You would think with that kind of money being spent at their establishment you would feel welcomed to be there. That was not the case, not that matters when what I am paying for is quality work and not getting ripped in the process. I can not tell you that as of yet, but so far as right now I will not be returning.

Kevin is a crook, he lies about what they worked on and what they didnt even tho you have a receipt right in front of him. Very helpful shop! The pricing is fair, they fixed my Jeep Cherokee and I never had to bring it back again. Their work is guaranteed. Eric fixed my Jeep and was very friendly. After taking my Jeep to several other mechanics and trying to repair it myself with my uncle, they had it done within hours. Unfortunantly my Jeep has been a lemon so Ive poured hundreds to thousands into it and carx has been very reliable during that time. 5,000 mls later or so, my car has been given me no issues this winter (2019)

Came in for an oil change and got out within a great time. Was out of the store around 30 min. It wasnt a super busy day but those working that day were efficient at keeping things moving.

CarX was fast and thorough. They did what I asked to be done and offered suggestions for future work even if I didnt bring my car back to them. They even had an employee drop off an estimation sheet at my home when I requested one before the work was finished. They were very willing to work with various payment options.

First time here today, had an appt for oil change that I made yesterday. Was in and out in 40 mins. Very helpful and friendly staff. Highly recommend

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Went to the store in Greenwood on 135 near closing time with a tire going flat. Did not say were closing just asked for the keys and went to work.

Have been told on multiple occasions over the phone during the week when trying to make an appointment that Saturdays are first come first served. I bring my vehicle in this morning at 7:32(2 minutes after opening) and ask for an oil change. Only to be told that were not accepting any more today. !?!?!. After saying but you just opened two minutes ago am told that 5 vehicles were dropped off the night before. Sounds a lot more like making an appointment than being first come first serve the day of. Not to mention, does that mean they can only work on 5 cars in an 8 hour day!! Only reason I didnt give 1 star was that Micah or Doug were not in the shop (who have always been great to do business with). This must have been one of their mechanics who obviously had no business behind the desk speaking to customers.

I made an appointment for Oil change and Transmission service at 8am at the Marlin Dr store, and they said I could wait for it while that was done. I was there 10 minutes early and after 40 minutes they still hadnt even taken my car into the shop. At one point there was two mechanics just standing around the desk doing nothing. I made the appointment so I could have the service done in a reasonable time. I felt like my time meant nothing to them and was not even informed they were running behind or any reason that the work had not been started on time. Its a Monday, how could they be behind ??? When I asked what was going on and told them to get my keys because I was leaving, THEN a guy said I was just about to pull your car in. It didnt bother them when I said I was tired of them doing nothing and wanted my keys. Been a customer for 7 years but no more after today.

They like to scam poeple by saying there is a problem with the car. they cant find it then charging you extra after u already had an appointment with them. Poeple be very aware if u go there. They might try to trick you

I always bring my car here and with as many different issues as my car has had they are always very helpful and friendly. They always try to give the best price possible on repairs and basic maintanance.

Took car in for allignment, and left more un-alligned. Charged me 2 camber bolts (never saw damaged ones), and after checking theres only one. They coulndt find tire leak, heard valve stem whistling next day washing tires. Installed nuts with wrong thread, stripped all studs. Old guy at front desk was rude and didnt have basic TPMS knowledge. Was turned away twice trying to get it fixed. Theres more but Ill stop there.

The entire team was helpful and the price was extremely reasonable! The free AT&T Wi-Fi was not working today at this location. AT&T sucks.

I have had numerous problems with my power steering and have taken it here everytime. But I have had numerous problems with my power steering. Last year I got my power steering pump replaced by CarX at the Center Grove location, it was installed incorrectly and had to go back the next day for them to fix it again. Then while they were fixing it, they ruined my alternator. (They replaced the alternator for free). Jump forward a few months and the squealing in my power steering returned and they told me to replace my rack and pinion. Everything went fine then for the next year. Fast forward to last week, the squealing returned. They told me that the rack and pinion has gone bad (been just over 12,000 miles since it was replaced). So that has been replaced and a few days later the squealing in my power steering has returned. I guess the power steering pump will need to be replaced now...I dont think I will be going back, I was always treated fairly with pricing, (I only paid for labor when they replaced the rack and pinion recently) but they never seem to fix the problem completely. I would rather pay to get it done right than to get it done correctly and have to pay to fix the problem again later.UPDATE 9/14/15: Made the mistake and came back for another visit. Dropped it off over Labor Day weekend to fix drivers side heat and they never fixed the issue. Spent $300 and now have to spend another $700 to fix the issue I brought it in for originally. Changed rating from two stars to one. Not too happy!

They are professional, and great at their jobs. Plus the customer service is spectacular.

Only reason for 4 stars (and not 5) is that their hours/appoinments are not adventagious to those that work 8-5 days. Got my vehicle aligned that has numerous race suspension pieces and was way out of aligment. Trent did a great job getting everything in the green. Recommended and trusted.

Accumulation of experience from the course of a few years - Be CautiousStore manager does a great job of working with people patiently and communicating. Addresses issues and tries to be fair. Professional and easy to work with for the general consumer.Products/service results are poor - based on below experiences.Oil service procedure failures:2 separate visits - Technicians did not place oil fill cap/cover back on the engine.1st - Family members vehicle, discovered 2 weeks after appointment. 2nd - My wifes vehicle, discovered the evening after appt. Checked with hunch based on previous.Employee communication lacking:Manager committed to an appt. to address after-the-fact concern from brake service. Arrived for appt. and had to argue with store associate who couldnt offer service due to other committed appointments and had no record of appt. and would not verify as store manager left for personal reasons.Result - Technician called at end of business day to inform me vehicle ready. Detail offered was that they cleaned dust off of new parts. Issue persisted next day.Poor quality brake service:Brake parts replacement on 08 truck. Noise redeveloped within weeks. Store manager very helpful in scheduling appt to bring in for pads replacement with better quality pads. Out personal time, but reasonable service. Noise developed within a few days. 3rd appt. was the brake service appt. detailed above with poor results.Summary:Dealt with noise worse on new brakes than original until able to acquire equipment, parts, etc to address issue self. Purchased new quality pads and rotors to replace those put on by CarX.Result:Several months in - No noise and proper performance. Something CarX couldnt figure out and charged 3x the amount it cost self perform once able to.

They fix issues well enough, but as a customer, youre often an inconvenience, not an asset. They wont even offer to put your tire back on after you pay them to fix it.
