Two people didnt even look up when I walked in. I waited 5 minutes... Finally I asked if I could buy something. The lady went and got a parts clerk (I guess). Then I asked if I could also buy a gift certificate. Nope. The lady handles that. And it requires a separate transaction. OK, never mind the motor oil. I just want the gift certificate. She had to fill out a paper certificate and then fill out a paper invoice. Then she took my credit card back over to the parts counter and charged the gift certificate on it.Probably should consider modernizing to a point-of-sale system as well as greeting customers.

We just bought a New John Deere Tractor and we worked with J.T Tripp. The buying experience was great and J.T. was not pushy and very knowledgeable with the Equipment. We shopped four other John Deere dealerships and this was the best price and best buying experience. William

This is a great place to get parts, I buy my parts for my X300. Every employee is so nice and plenty. My only concern for this company during this time of crisis, they told me that they are essential and I understand that but for them to keep there doors open to the public. It seems to me that they are more worried about a DOLLAR than their employees. Im not bashing this place but you can be essential by doing curbside service as there sign says on the front door, but to have there doors open allowing people inside isnt keeping there employees safe.

Worst experience ever and I wish that I would have never taken my tractor here for repair. Extremely poor communication and empty promise after empty promise. In no way can I recommend Greenville Turf & Tractor. I was initially told they had a 3 week backlog over the phone after calling to multiple John Deere dealerships. When I dropped off my tractor I was told that it would be 3 1/2 weeks, which I understood as pretty much standard for the season. At no point after the 3 1/2 weeks passed did I receive a phone call from Greenville Turf & Tractor with an update. I had to call in multiple times only to be told that my tractor would be pulled either on Saturday or the following week for service. Finally, after 7 1/2 weeks of my tractor sitting in queue and never being pulled for service, I decided to pick it up and take it to another John Deere dealership. Definitely avoid this place unless if you enjoy not having your tractor or if you find satisfaction in being fed empty promises when you do actually get in touch with them. On a side note, they rolled out my tractor on a flat tire for me to pickup which pretty much sums up my experience over the 7 1/2 weeks of not having my tractor serviced at Greenville Turf & Tractor.

Buyers beware and pay attention to the reviews because I didn’t. I purchased a John Deer Z345R back in the spring. I purchased it from Greenville Turf and Tractor instead of Lowe’s because I wanted to support local businesses while hoping if I needed service they would be there. About the 8 or 9th time out a belt broke.First contact got some wise guy that said the warranty didn’t cover the belt unless something warrantable caused it to break. I have tried with no success getting the mower to the shop asked them to come pick it up, next week asked to bring it on Saturday, we have a skeleton crew of 3 on Saturday have no one to ride it into the service center. I offered to push it into the service area but they were completely unhelpful. If you want an unreliable machine buy a John Deer if you want a company that may or may not stand behind their equipment and if they do it will be when it is convenient for them then use Greenville Turf and Tractor

I would love to be able to leave a good review but I simply cannot. First I will start with the good. The price was a good deal and Justin (our salesman) was professional and friendly. The young men working at the back with the hats were sweet and very good at their job. However that is about where the good ends. As you walk in their store the lady at the desk doesnt even acknowledge you and when she does she isnt friendly at all. (Mind you this is a John Deere dealer and those coming in are paying a large amount of money.) We asked her to speak with Justin since we had spoken to him on the phone. She never looked up and pointed at his office and told us to go on in. Justin was busy with another customer as it seems he is the only one that works there or deals with customers. She told us to still go in which we did not because he was clearly busy. The manager sit in his office eating his burger and I believe his name is JD. He never once offered to help us but looked our direction three times. Now even with all of this we still purchased our John Deere and the price was such a good deal that we referred our parents to them also. They went in to purchase theirs and again the lady at the front wasnt the friendliest and Justin was unfortunately at a funeral. Mom was told to go to JDs office for help. JD was once again eating a burger and asked a 78 year old woman in a gruff, rude grunt (and I quote) What can I do for you today woman? He couldnt even get up off his lazy arse to help anyone and talked to her like a horses rear. (He is also part owner I believe.) We then got this comical survey in the mail about how they pride themselves on customer service after the purchase. So while you will get a decent deal here be prepared to be treated like you are an inconvenience unless you deal with Justin or the gentlemen in the back selling hats. Hopefully a change will occur in future experiences for others coming in because with better customer service and maybe a little smile, eye contact, and basic kindness this could be the best John Deere dealer in the Upstate.

I decided to purchase a John Deere Riding Lawn Mower that would be higher quality and performance than the models stocked at the big box stores. This is a great place to go and talk to someone who knows their stuff, and buy high quality equipment.I had done my research before walking in, and everything Austin said lined up with what others had been saying. He did not try to sell me a more expensive piece of equipment - just the one that would meet my needs and provide the best value. He offered a great price on the new machine, and even recommended places I could find an additional coupon.Delivery was easy, free, and on time - the mower rolled off the truck assembled and ready to run; and it will likely do so for many years to come.

What a joke! Worst customer service ever. I was forced to drop off my LT155 at GTT, due to death of my small engine mechanic. The fill in service manager was great. He looked at the tractor and estimated two to three hundred dollars and about two weeks out. Three to four weeks later, Im calling back to find out what is going on with my tractor. The service manager answers with a load of excuses. I dropped the tractor off well before the busy season! He says I will get a call next week. I did and they tell me five hundred to six hundred dollars. I go buy the parts...almost $300. I buy the ordered parts and pickup tractor to find it was never even taken apart! Now must return $150 part and they broke my ignition. Luckily I found the reset button and it cranked perfectly like when dropped off.

Going to GREENVILLE Turf and Tractor to purchase or service equipment or get parts is like vacation for my husband and me! I know it may sound crazy but its true! They have the best helpful staff and I would highly recommend them to anyone. The store manager, Austin, as well as the service manager, Ted, and the entire staff are incredible! They always respond and turn around our equipment quickly! They have become extended family over the last 2 years since our first purchase. Thank you GTT! We think youre awesome!!!!!

Most impolite, disrespectful and rude answering the phone. A phone call is the front door of any business and as a business owner I would never allow anyone who feels entitled to be there answer my phones with a cocky know it all attitude and not answer a basic question. Its customer service dude and its not for you in any way shape or form. System will not allow 0 stars. I will tell everyone I know about my only and LAST experience with Greenville Turf & Tractor.
