I have shopped here several times both in-store and a few times online with store pickup. Have always had a good experience. Store is clean, organized, fully stocked and employees are so willing to help. Plan to shop many more times whenever they have what I need.

I found exactly what I wanted they only had 2 in stock all I needed was 1. A good price for a good product. Had been going to Harbor Freight for everything but I was very impressed with Northern Tools

Went in first thing in the morning on Black Friday. Staff was helpful and friendly. Store was clean and well kept. All around pleasant experience on the most hectic retail day of the year. Only gave it five stars because i couldnt give it six.

I ordered from NorthernTools.com. Apparently this is serviced by the Greenville SC store. I live in Columbia SC and my local store does not stock the tool I ordered, hence, the on line order. It went in smoothly, allowed me to use PayPal and accepter a coupon which Northern Tool sent in a sale catalog. So, ordering was easy and excellent.I would suggest updating the search on the website to accept hit to all product IDs, names, etc. The site did not accept the full tool name and I found the item be searching Milwaukee planer.I hope the delivery and tool quality matches the ordering.

Well stocked. Great place for do-it-yourselfers. Very friendly and very helpful staff. If not available, they can get it sent to you, or sent free to the store. This is usually fairly quickly. Prices are very good also

Dont buy a generator from them. We bought an expensive one and it broke 5 months later. Now they have had it for 3 weeks and its still not fixed. They should exchange it for a new one or offer a loaner. And dont expect their service people to give a care about you.

Apparently this store handles returns at the checkout, and luckily for me I managed to time things juuust right so that I got stuck behind two customers returning items--neither of which had what they needed for the return. Rather than finding someone else who isnt running a register to help them, the line just kept getting longer and longer while they try to sort out the ones who cant understand that they need a receipt for a return. This is what a customer service desk is for, and this is why they should have one. At some point the decision needs to move the unprepared returners off to the side and take care of the customers that are waiting to actually spend money. That didnt happen, and youve lost another customer.

It has changed if you havent been there since this pandemic but (government blew it out of proportion) everything has changed it is very sad! I like the store but they didnt have what I needed.

Clean, neat, & organized. Good selection. Didnt have what I was after in the sales paper ( out of stock / none on the truck that came in). A little bit disappointing but overall, friendly, courteous staff.

I bought a fuel transfer pump and couldn’t figure out how to assemble. I went back to the store and an associate showed me how to assemble it. He was patient and went the extra mile. I highly recommend this store.

I buy a lot of stuff from these guys.

Not as great as it used to be. Seems that every time I come it gets worse. They still sell some quality brands/ equipment but most items are Low quality Chinese tools and products at ridiculous prices. Employee helpfulness is hit or miss. Cashiers are lacking. Also never buy refurbished/used equipment, as they won’t honor their warranty even when having bought the additional protection plans

Decent quality parts at great prices. A good balance of parts at good prices. I have bought many things over the years with no issues.

Never take a power tool for service. I took my Honda lawn morrow in for a transmission repair/replacement. They had the mower for over two months. Albeit, it tried to fix it first, so I took a bag of parts in with the mower. Once they replaced the transmission, they repeatedly told me they were waiting for more parts, (nuts & bolts). It seemed as if they found a bolt was missing, so it got ordered. Once it arrived and installed, they discovered another bold missing, and then the process started over. I thought the final straw was when the manager had to tell me the temporary mechanic threw away my handle. I was wrong. The last straw was when the day came for me to pick up my overpriced repaired lawn morrow, I took it outside to test it. It still didnt go forward, the wheel bolts had fallen off, and there was no oil.

I work here good place to be at.

Always a great place for a man to spend some time to shop for the needed tools he has to have. The staff is always friendly and ready to assist you for something you cant find. We dont have a store like this in Pennsylvania so each time I come to Greenville I shop here.

Went to harbor freight and the staff was very nice to help find just what I needed for my power washer.I came home and put it all together and went right toWork power washing my house.Thanks very much.

It was a great place upon entrance. Every type of tool you could possibly need plus accessories. Not pleased with feeling like I was being followed by staff but eh it was as expected!

I love this place its like my toy store but you got to get me out of there when they have all their sales I want it all !!!
