Better than big box guitar stores - great guitars and drums and great people who really know the equipment and a player’s journey from beginner to expert.I brought my acoustic into the store…. I was having trouble with the factory setup. Bobby Bass was able to help me out with some quick Guitar work! These guys are really top notch.

Well, I’m a very old new guitarist (new old guitarist?) and I was looking to get a newer, little nicer guitar so I could attack my lessons with something nice that I wouldn’t outgrow in a year or so.The folks at Eastside were awesome to deal with. Bobby worked with me to find a great guitar and a very fair price. He took the time to see what I needed and didn’t try to push me into anything more than what I needed.What really sealed it is that I dropped off my old electric to get restrung and serviced, and not only did their guy find and correct issues that had been there since I bought it, they got it back to me well before it was promised and at a great price.I found the shop for all of my guitar needs from now on.

Holy cow, what a wonderful experience there. Bobby took one look at my guitar and knew it needed some work. Got right on it, talked me through what he was doing, asked me questions about my guitar plans and seemed to really invest time in listening. With such a great trustworthy experience, my next guitar purchase will definitely be through them.

I took a Martin to this place for a fret level and setup. I chose this place based on reviews and information in discussion threads. Mr. Young is supposed to be very good. My Martin came back playing fine, but definitely not on par with the way it came from the factory. Still, I expected this. My third fret is not rounded evenly, which is bound to manifest itself while playing. The thing that really put me off was that my bridge pins were not seated correctly. One was 1/4 of the way out and 5 of them were sideways which had the string in a bind with the slot. This is a good way to mar wood pins and/or slots. I feel like my guitar was rushed through a foreign sweat shop. This just reveals the level of care involved. I had to loosen the strings and properly seat the pins, which happens to be very easy in a Martin. I am sure Mr. Young has wealth of knowledge and ability, but I will be looking for someone who will treat my instrument like it was their own. I wish I had taken a picture of the pin that was 1/4 up, but as soon as I saw it I pushed it down.

Easily my favorite guitar shop around here. The guys who work here are knowledgeable and extremely friendly and always willing to just hang out and have a conversation. Extremely down to earth! I always feel welcome here. Not to mention, the products here are super nice; all of their guitars are set up nicely so that when you come in to play one, you know how it plays after a good setup. I’ve also had my guitars restrung and set up at Eastside and their luthier did an incredible job and even polished the frets on my guitar...all for a really good price. Definitely the best guitar shop in the upstate if you ask me :)

I never leave reviews for any stores, restaurants... nothing. But this local guitar shop really deserves 5 stars. Great customer service and quality instruments. Much more refreshing than the DMV... I mean, Guitar Center.

I love buying any of my guitar gear here. Better selection of pedals than Guitar Center. But most of all, the customer service is the best Ive ever had a music instrument store.Everytime I try out a guitar, amp, or pedal they come and tune the guitar if its out. Probably more indicative of how awesome they are is that every guitar is always tuned, and all the volume knobs are exactly in the same place on every guitar. Only people who cherish what they sell would do that. Dont waste your time at Guitar Center.Thanks for the help with Octave pedal yesterday!

Bobby Bass is a master of customer service and just being an awesome, enthusiastic man. I won’t shop anywhere else unless I have to order something direct from a manufacturer. I can’t wait to start taking lessons to improve my theory knowledge.

Great selection of Paul Reed Smith Guitars, Vox amps, other brands and consignment. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Dont be too afraid of Woodruff Rd traffic--its really close to I385.

I needed work on a Gibson Les Paul Studio to have the tail stop and bridge holes rebored. The work was top notch and the setup was excellent. I would recommend Eastside without question. Nice looking PRS guitars in there as well!! Thanks Eastside Guitars!!

Dropped my Martin guitar off for a new set of strings, and set up. The work was done as promised and the luthier even sent a msg about my level of humidity to keep my guitar in the best shape. Great job all the way around.
