I was at West End Fabrics yesterday and had a more-than-exceptional experience. If I could give this shop and the owner a 10-star rating, I would. The minute I walked in, I was greeted and definitely did not feel pressured. The store is huge with a vast selection -- so large that if you dont find what you need there, youre not looking for fabric. Go home. Jeanne was fabulous! She knew exactly where everything was located, the pricing, she offered swatches, recommendations, opinions, and I learned more in that one hour I spent there than in years of trying to figure things out about fabric. I have at least a handful of projects that need to be done fairly quickly and she was able to help every issue that I had. I absolutely LOVE this shop and it will become my go-to store. We just moved into the area from a metropolitan city and was so surprised about the service and variety. 10+

I went to this fabric shop looking for more contemporary fabric. And that’s exactly what I found, and for a really good price. All 3 ladies, including the owner, were super nice and helpful. I definitely recommend this fabric shop!!!

Ladies there were very happy and friendly (I loved that she was humming Christmas songs to herself as we were walking around). They also have a beautiful shop kitty to welcome you (he was very cuddly). But what is most impressive is the color organization. If you have an idea of a color you are looking for it is very easy to search for yourself. And the quality of the fabrics felt amazing. We found a fabric that we had not seen before!! They answered our questions and even came out to our vehicle to look at the chair to make sure we were getting enough. Would definitely recommend this business.

Fabric selection available at every price point and store organized very well, but poor customer service.

I went here last week and I wanted to ask a question. I stood there for five minutes, the older lady I’m assuming was the owner saw me as she was conversing with another lady. She continued talking then turned around to ask me do I need help after she finished her conversation. RUDE! I asked a question and she was so nonchalant and unhelpful. Everything is by color and style she says! It seemed as if I was bothering her! I was told to come here by the place that’s going to redo my chairs. Then when I picked out one fabric she made it seemed I couldn’t afford it! She states oh now that’s $60 dollars a yard! Okay lady! I can afford it but I went with another fabric! I will not be back to this business. She need a lesson in how to treat all people. This place gets a 2 because it has beautiful fabric!

Great fabric. The owner is slow as molasses and extremely rude. Not to mention, unorganized.

Enjoyed my visit with Diane, Jean and the sweet cat that runs the store. I found the perfect fabric. What a selection they have! I went back the very next week to get my fabric for another project.

Great selection of fabric and Audrey, the sales associate who was helping us was great. However, the manager wasn’t really interested in our sale and treated as if we were not real customers. We bought 24 yards of fabric and almost left it to go to Covington due to customer service. I bought it this time because I need it in a short amount of time, but I probably won’t return.

Absolutely worst customer service ever!!! Surprised they are still in business. Owner is extremely rude, treating people like they are an imposition. She actually yelled at me when a trim sample that I was looking at fell to the floor and told me “move, move, move” out of the way! This is not how you treat your customers!!! One day, my husband and I helped her get a bird out of the store and she never even acted like she knew who I was each time I came back!Plan to spend a lot of time there because their assistance is poor. And you will wait until SHE is ready before she rings you up...
