Window World Upstate did a great job. The sales rep Chris did great job explaining the windows and how the install would take place. Explained the time frame due to covid and manufacturing restrictions. They was spot on the time frame quoted. The day of the install the owner Gary was onsite making sure we was pleased. Window World did a fantastic job. I would highly recommended Window World. It’s worth the wait time, and they are honest and professional.
I wish we would have went with a different company. They had to send multiple people out on different occasions to measure the windows... The 2nd guy said they couldnt read the first guys writing. The company had to reschedule the install a few times prior to making it out finally (huge inconvenience). When the installers came out, we were told by installer Randall that the windows werent measured correctly by the 2nd guy and these were too small. After talking to his boss, he said his boss said to make them look good. Ugh... we shouldnt have let them install them but he had already taken the old window out and we had already lost our patience. Because the windows were too small, he had to build the frame up which leads to needing much wider window casing (in our case, 4 inches wide) as opposed to standard 2-1/4 that you can buy from Lowes or Home Depot. I asked the installer where I could get 4 wide window casing and he tried telling me I could buy baseboard trim to go around the windows. We had to beg for white boards installed on the inside ledge (which we had agreed on during their initial visit). After the installers left, we noticed the brand new baseboard that I had installed a week prior just below one of the new windows was beat up. I may be able to just repaint it, but its still such an unnecessary hassle. I guess the windows are nice, but we were overall, just not impressed with the service and the windows being smaller than the originals because measurements werent taken correctly. I found the company to be unprofessional and hope you consider shopping around for a different company to install your windows.
We have had to have a few windows replaced and a door for various reasons. The gentleman who has been out each time, Justin Genoble, is always prompt, professional and a very nice guy in general. I would recommend this company to anyone! They stand behind their product and everyone is very helpful and courteous!
I highly recommend Window World of Greenville SC. The owner is detailed, responsive, and reliable. They gave great suggestions along with all the pros and cons. The quality of their work from start to finish was 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!! I would recommend them to everyone. They also are very clean and detailed in their work.
Absolutely atrocious!! Signed the contract February 28 with the understanding of a twelve week lead time. Well, here we are in August and still no windows (or a phone call) in a house that was supposed to be on the market two months ago.

I feel the need to share our poor experience with this company online because their continued poor installation and even poorer quality repairs we’ve had done twice on our brand new windows we paid a lot of money for. The installers didn’t put flashing around any of the 6 windows installed and we’ve called for MONTHS to get this repaired. They came out much later and only out fishing on 1 window unit. The next time they came back they said it was repaired after putting caulk around the window. I have pictures of the standing water below these windows and the drywall that is falling off due to poor installation! I’m so angry at this company! Windows are fabulous windows are I do not regret the purchase. I only regret purchasing through this company!
Absolutely satisfied. We were told from the beginning that it would be months after we ordered for the installation and it was worth the wait. We are very pleaased with the customer service and communiction. We were especially pleased with our installers....Lee and Chris....they were courteous, very personable, and extremey hard- working young men. If there is any company procedure for including this compliment in their files, it would be appreciated. They earned it. Again, it was worth the wait and without doubt we would use Window World of the Upstate again.
I think its absolutely a shame that you ever Ties on TV if somebody has kept her home for 20 years or 30 years good enough to get three windows. Lived in the same spot the same place ever since 1988 which means I pay my house payment which I owe less than $3,000 but its not good enough to get three windows from you wow need to put on there you must have top-quality credit to qualify

I was a bit dubious prior to contacting Window World for an estimate to install windows at my home. I am happy to say all concerns vanished upon contact with their sales representative, Shane. He was pleasant, not pushy, and provided a excellent price for the job of replacing 32 windows.The installers, Michael and Brain were professional and courteous at all times. Their work product was beyond expectations. The window themselves are of high quality and provide a supreme sense of satisfaction. I will highly recommend Windows World as a reputable business that stands behind its product. The windows came with a lifetime, no fault, replacement warrantee.
Harley was 25 minutes late for an appointment without a notification hell be late. He sent a text a 9:18am to verify a 10:00am appointment. I confirmed. Didnt show up until 10:25am, and didnt notify me he was running late.

Avoid this company at all costs. Very negative experience. My wife and I are really disappointed with the quality of work we received from Window World. After many months of careful researching we went with this company rather than Taylors Windows. Wow...what a mistake. Sloppy install and many many problems...so many in fact, that we gave up and said to hell with it, we can do the repairs ourself. Crooks!Our intentions were to have one company install our glass patio door and replace all of our vinyl windows. So we thought this would be a good chance to see the quality of the products, professionalism of the install and the merit of the customer service. So, have the door done first and if everything is good, let the same company install new windows.The door cost $1850. The quality of the door seems fine, but the install was bad, the follow up service calls were bad, and the excuses were non stop.Attached picutres are all repairs I had to make....tightening loosed screws, adjusting the door stop, cleaning tape residue from the screen door, the main door handle was replaced and moved loosley when opening and closing the door...because the screws were loose, 1 gap on both ends of the vinyl strip covering the interior above and below the door lock mechanism. They insisted this is normal But when I callled and spoke to another company who does this same business...they told me that the gap olny needs to be 1/2 inch for cleareance of the rail. It looks horrible they way they had it. This would have been a quick, simple repair...but instead of of doing this, we just heard more excuses.Needless to say....we will not be using this company to replace our windows.
Wow. They did a GREAT job installing my window. They showed me all the neat features of the window that they installed - windows fold out and tabs to limit raising the window. I highly recommend them.

First, I love the windows and they are great quality. They drastically improve the look of the house.Although, I simply want to share my experience. There is no malice or ill intent from my end. I was never frustrated through the 6 month experience. It became slightly humorous to me after the first few phone calls as i would share each discussion with my wife after each phone call. Window World was always apologetic on every phone call, but that didnt resolve the issue promptly.I tried to document each phone call/experience, so my dates may be off by a little, but I tried to be honest and simply present the facts.Window World, if you recorded the dates of our phone calls or appts, please let me know and Ill edit my review. I dont want to mislead or have any false information.6/17/2020-----Salesman came out for estimate.Total will be $6492 for 10 windows/shutters.We were told up to 12 weeks to build them.9/24/2020-----Windows were installed.Installer saw one cracked window before unloading the trailer.Told me they would order a new one and come back in 2 weeks to install it.All windows were installed, but did not install the shutters as they said they didn’t read paperwork correctly or load it on the trailer.Installers said they would bring shutters in 2 weeks when they came to replace the cracked window.10/15/2020-----Waited 3 weeks to hear from WW---decided to call Window World.They knew nothing about the cracked window or missing shutters.They said the contractors/installers didnt say anything about it.Told me they would order a sash and it would take 2 weeks and they will take care of shutters at same time.11/5/2020-----Hadnt heard from WW. So I called WW and was told they didn’t see an order for it, but will place an order immediately for the cracked sash.We also went ahead and scheduled a day for installer to install shutters.11/19/2020-----Installer came to install the shutters and they look great.12/3/2020------Called again about cracked window. Was told it arrived and set up date of 12/17/2020 for installation.12/17/2020-----Took half a day off work. Installer never showed.12/21/2020-----Called WW about no-show. I was told they would re-schedule someone to come immediately.1/13/2021-----Called WW for update, and was told they couldn’t find my part in the warehouse. They will have to order another one.2/4/2021-----Called WW. Told me part should arrive by Feb 15-17. They told me they will call when it arrives and schedule an appt.2/18/2021-----WW called me to schedule installation of new window for 2/23/2020 between 2-3.2/23/2021-----WW called me to tell me the window was the wrong part and they will have to order another one.3/17/2021-----WW called me at 5:20pm to say the correct part finally arrived. Maddie set up Friday at 1pm for someone to come out.3/19/2021-----WW technician arrived at 12:55pm and replaced the window in 20 minutes. Very courteous and helpful.So there it is. It took 20 minutes to install a cracked window, but took 6 months to get a new window and installer lined up for the job. It also took 4 different times to order 1 window. It simply makes me question the effectiveness of the lifetime warranty.Overall, I love the windows. They look fantastic. But lets be honest, COVID isnt fully to blame for this full experience.

My experience with this company was very disappointing. We got 7 windows and 2 doors. It took 18 weeks for windows and 25 weeks for doors to be installed. We were told it would be 9 weeks. After 10 weeks of waiting I called and was told they had no information they would call me back. After calling back myself I was told the company wasn’t responding to them. This happened on more than one occasion during the process. Good customer service would have been to call and update the customer not the customer calling you. When my windows were installed they reused the old molding which needed to be replaced. Then I was told that was in my contact, but nobody went over that with us. When you get new windows you expect everything to be new. That’s my fault for not reading everything. I feel it should have been pointed out though. Now I have to pay someone to come out and replace it. If I had known this I would have had new when they came to install. This is what they said they would do for me for all I had been through. They would make sure that the salesman explained that the old molding would be used to the customer in the future. What’s that do for me? BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!
In late September I ordered an entryway door along with patio door. I, too, am a salesman whos dealing with COVID delays at work so I sympathized with COVID delays. Despite being told that doors would arrive in November, I waited to hear back from my someone about installation. After hearing nothing from Window World for months, I decided to call in February, to check on my order. Surprisingly, Im told that they could install the following week! That was too soon, so we scheduled for a later date.When the installers arrived at my house, the doors were the wrong size, both the patio and entryway doors, despite two separate measurements (salesman and installation manager). An operations manager came out and assured me that they would order the correct size and apologized. I asked to be compensated for my inconvenience and patience. I was told that the owner would call me the following day. I received no call back. When I contacted them two days later, I was told that because I made use of the financing, there was nothing they could do about the price. Needless to say, I cancelled the order. I am truly disappointed that I had to initiate contact at every point, and that my business was not appreciated.
We havent had our windows installed yet but our experience so far deserves talking about. Josh Owens came out and gave an amazing demonstration. His knowledge of the product combined with our research of the company convinced us that Window World was the company we wanted. When we signed the contract a week later I gave Josh the cash down payment. A few days later he called to tell me that two twenties had stuck together and I had actually given him too much money. To me that showcased not only Joshs integrity but Window Worlds as well. We are anxiously waiting for our windows to be installed. We are certain were going to be more than happy when theyre done.

After recently buying a new home with old, out dated windows, Window World was referred to us. Unfortunately, they have not lived up to our expectations at all. After having a guy out to measure and quote us at the beginning of September 2020, we were told 12-14 weeks. The 12-14 weeks came and went and no body reached out to us. I decided to call and see what was up and was told another month due to COVID. The month comes and goes and no one has reached out to me still. So I have to schedule my own appointment reaching out to them once again. Well on the scheduled day, it’s raining and no one calls me to say we aren’t coming today ( I was told I was called but never got call. Fancy that.) Now I understand COVID creates a delay in things but COVID or not that does not mean you don’t communicate. Let your customers know what is going on with THEIR product. A large chunk of change has already been paid and sitting with you guys. Whenever our windows do get put in I hope they are perfect. Very very very disappointed with our experience so far.

A father and son team (Michael and Justin) arrived on time as scheduled, and had the old windows out and the new ones in quicker than butter melts on a hot July day. I always enjoy watching true professionals, because there is no wasted motion, the job gets done very quickly, and everything is done RIGHT! These guys really know their stuff. I am very pleased with the features and quality of the windows, and the cost was very competitive. I am completely satisfied and do not hesitate to recommend Window World.
In 2008, I was visiting a friend who had just gotten new windows installed from Window World. I was so fascinated with them that I immediately called and set up an appt to have mine replaced. During the office visit I decided to also get my soffits and gutters replaced with vinyl and all exposed wood while I was at it. I noticed how much cooler my house is in the summer and how much warmer it is in the winter. I referred 2 others and they got their window replaced and have been very happy with them.Why I am commenting today is to compliment the service they provide. A few weeks ago, one of my windows cracked from the inside. I was worried about how much this would cost, so I called Window World to tell them what happened and they reminded me of the guarantee they have and they ordered me a new window. These windows are so great, when the service guy came by to install it; he was done in less than 5 min. It being December, he noticed that one of my windows was up and he closed it for me and double checked the one beside it. In the commercial when Gary and his family say they just don’t stand on the windows, but they stand behind them. Well, I’m a witness to that!==============2021 Update===============I wrote the above review 7 yrs ago, but now its Aug 2021 and I just had to add this. With this pandemic I have regained my love of plants. So, to display my plants, I wanted a garden window. Who else would I call but Window World. This February, they installed my garden window and I was so pleased with the window and the installation. As always, there were prompt and professional. Now I can proudly display some of my favorite plants.FYI, My bathroom renovation called for a transom window...Yep, you bet, I called Window World of Upstate and as always, they delivered!

There communication has been terrible. Every time I’ve been told they would call me back the following day no one ever called me back. I’ve been waiting for a while on installation of my new windows and sliding glass door and I wouldn’t recommend using this company.

EDIT TO RESPOND TO THE OWNERS RESPONSE:If you actually read my posting, my complaint has nothing to do with the delays from COVID but from your companys complete lack of communication (and that communication was just as poor to our contractor as they are the ones who brought the issue to our attention - trying to put the blame on them will not work as they excelled at their ability to communicate every hurdle we faced in a timely and efficient manner with revised dates they actually stuck to). I work in manufacturing and know that there is absolutely no reason your supply chain shouldnt have communicated delivery dates and shut downs as they happened. Ive seen previous claims on responses by you that the reason they cannot tell you if their plant shuts down is due to a breach of personal information. That is absolutely false, if they tell you the individual, sure, but stating that their plant has to shut down due to COVID exposure and will be reopen on X date putting all orders X days behind has nothing to do with that. In addition, COVID has absolutely nothing to do with your owners absolute abhorrent behavior and attitude during our phone call. Based upon the multiple negative reviews Ive read on here its pretty safe to say that this was not an isolated incident or something that can be blamed upon COVID, our contractor or the customer, hope anyone considering future business with this company takes the time to read these reviews and consider the common issues within them that are solely based upon poor communication by this business and the inability to take responsibility for their own inaction in the face of obstacles then seriously reconsider spending your money with them. If we had it to do over again I absolutely would not use Window World of the Upstate.ORIGINAL POST: We ordered windows & doors for our new business location back in May with the delivery/install date of July. A few days before the install we were informed that due to COVID delays the delivery/install was being pushed to early Sept. Completely understood the factors that were out of their control and we adjusted our timelines accordingly. The day before the second scheduled install date we were informed again that it would be another 2 weeks before delivery/installation, this happened for a third time as well. While I understand the initial delay there was absolutely no excuse for the 2nd (& 3rd) especially as we were informed the day prior to the scheduled installation. Once the original delay happened this office should have been in close contact with their manufacturers to ensure on-time delivery and if there were additional delays with communication they could have contacted us, the customers, to make sure we were aware with plenty of notice. I did call to speak to the owner who was incredibly short with me, rude as can be, interrupted repeatedly and when I asked her to let me finish what I was saying, hung up the phone on me.I would highly recommend taking your business elsewhere and avoiding this company at all costs.

Good quality windows and doors. This is not a big box store that have what you want in stock. (You’ll wait a couple of months for your doors to be made ). Your patience will be rewarded with a great door and reliable install.
We have had our windows since 2013. One of the best things we have done to our house. There was a window that had discoloration in the upper sash. Justin Genoble was the technician that replaced it. While he was here I showed him another window that was hard to raise. He went ahead and replaced a broken spring on it while he was here. Justin did a great job and was very friendly. Great company to deal with.
I scheduled an appointment for them to come out to do an estimate at my home. They were on time, but the second that he started talking about the products and costs, he only addressed my husband despite my husband directing information back to me. He wrote the quote out to Michael assuming that it was my husbands name since I called in and it was Michelle. He told me my husband was hard to read on the costs like he was the only person making the decision. I will never use this company. Their sexist sales tactics did not work for me.
You replaced all windows in my house in July 2019. I am very pleased with the product and also the process. All done in one day with complete cleanup and removal of old windows from site. A contractor friend brought his sheet metal men over to see the installation. They all agreed that the sheet metal trim work was the best they had ever seen. Please pass this to the crew.
First let me preface this review by saying do not be influenced by the responses you see to negative reviews. Window World does not do anything to remedy bad experiences for customers and refused to do anything to accommodate us for the horrendous experience we had so any comment on this review or any by Window World indicating they will do anything to help their customers is only a ploy and not true.I ordered a door in May after being told we could do the estimate virtually but instead having a salesman come to by house. They had exactly what I wanted and quoted me a time of 8 weeks for installation. I was never told of any issues related to COVID. 10-12 weeks later I had gotten no response. I waited knowing that COVID might have slowed things down but when I called no one in the office knew who I was. I thought I had been scammed. I was told they would check on it and call me back by the end of the day. Nothing. I called back another week later and was then told that the door manufacturer had shut down and all doors were delayed. No one had called me to tell me this and I had already paid them $1200. I was then given an install date when they had no reason to believe my door would be ready. Then biweekly my install date was rescheduled 5 times pushing it back to the point that we were at 23 weeks before my door was installed. Once the door was delivered we were contacted by the customer service rep and told that the installers truck was down and the installation needed to be moved back a day. Then on that day I was called and told they could not install because of weather and discovered they had lied about the installers truck being down and told me no he was actually wanting to take that day off so she had lied about the actual reason. We rescheduled again for 6th or 7th time. At that point my husband asked for a discount given the terrible experience we had and were told explicitly they would do nothing to help us. The owner refused to speak to my husband or respond to him.The most disturbing Part is that Window World stores your payment Information without telling you in violation of South Carolina law. When you pay a deposit with them, they store your payment information without telling you. My husband asked specifically if they had our payment information stored and were told “No we will contact you for final payment information”. The day after installation the same service rep called me and said “do you want me to run this same card I have on file?”In the end this is a company with terrible business practices. We were lied to twice that we know of and I believe a failure on their part caused the delay and they blamed the manufacturer. The sales reps are not available for follow up and do not follow through with you in any way. You are turned over to people “in the office”. The owner does not respond to customers and will not even speak to you.There are far better companies in the Upstate. This company was non responsive, negligent and dishonest.

I have been remis in writing this review as our Windows were installed about 4 Months ago! From my 5 Stars, You know Were more than satisfied! Our Salesman was Professional, Polite, answered all our questions but was not Pushy in the least. We built our home in 1975 so the Windows were in need of replacing to help Freshen Up our Home but also to help with our Power Bill. In addition to our Salesman, the Two Installers were Super Guys! Since it was going to be a Two Day Job, We were concerned about Security from one day until the next even though We have an Elaborate Security System. Need Not have been worried at all. They Replaced All windows and secured them the first day and then came back the second day to do what I call the Decorative Part! Great Company to do business with and Prices were very Fair! BTW, We forgot about our Detached Garage and will be calling WW for that shortly. No need wasting my Time Shopping Around! Thanks WW !

We recently had all windows replaced in an older ranch style home. We are extremely pleased. From the first call to inquire everyone was very knowledgeable and helpful. The installation crew was amazing and did an excellent job and left no mess for us to clean up.. we highly recommend Wondow World.
These are great people. They came on time as promised and replaced all the 16 windows without any problem. I was amazed to see them replace 16 windows in less than 5 hours. Their work coordination was great. I have recommended to my friends and family. The value of these windows was great too.
Didnt end up purchasing anything due to personal reasons. Spoke with Stacy who was very sweet and let me speak with a sales person Doug. Doug was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions(even the knit-picky ones). From all the quotes I got their quote was the best and I would have purchased had personal issue not inhibited me from doing so. So few and far between that you get good service over the phone. Good job!
Tried to order windows and they never returned my call
On April 13th our neighborhood in Seneca experienced a tornado of f3 magnitude. Debri hitting our windows at 160 mph. All of our neighbors had bursted windows. I was amazed that none (not one) had any cracks at all in our house.We had them replaced 1 year ago by Window World and man are they a quality product. I bought windows from this company back in 2005 and a couple of them had a film on them.I no longer had my paper work but I decided to give them a call anyway.I gave the lady my name and she said someone would get back in touch with me soon on which they did.They came out and replaced the couple of windows for me and even one that a rock hit with the lawnmower without charging me a dime.I highly recommend this company.Joyce Crawford

I needed a replacement window that appeared to be a difficult installation. Gary personally came out and inspected the job. He was cooperative and suggested a number of solutions. Gary put his best team on the job and they made the installation look simple. The installers were professionals and worked quickly. They believe in the product and so do I after buying my Window World window.You cant get this kind of service from Taylors Window and Screen. I tried a year ago and the owner blew me off and has never called me back after 5 phone calls.I believe Window World has the skill to install any type of window and I would call them first if you need windows.
From the moment that our sales person Reggie Graves walked into my home to give us a free estimate to the completion and installation of our windows we have nothing but the highest praises for Window World Greenville, SC and its employees. Fair prices, correct estimation of how long it would take to order my windows, they called me several times to give us an update, set the appointment, etc. and the window installers were stellar in their job and completion of the job. We would recommend Window World to others. Our experience was great and even my husband who did not feel we needed to replace our windows, agreed that the windows are terrific and make our house look great! Robert and his team were great! Super nice, professional and know what they are doing. Fast, clean and waste no time doing their job from the time they get to work to when they stop. Talking to the receptionist at the store has been a pleasure too. Very courteous and returns phone calls. Never leaves a customer in the dark. I’d recommend Wondow World to anyone who asks.
Had them come out Wednesday to install My new windows they did a great job and the windows look great they had them installed in no time and I like it was a family crew that came out its nice to see a family working together plus the price was good I had one company that wanted three times as much I recommend them to anyone
Bought a house full of windows from here many years ago and had an issue with 3 of them after several years. Eric came out and fixed one of them on the spot, and has ordered replacement parts for the other two. In addition, he fixed one of our screens while he was here which was totally unexpected and very kind. The replacement parts should be here in a few weeks. I was expecting to pay something to have someone fix the windows and they are covered under the warranty. After this many years, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised! They truly do have a lifetime warranty and the customer service is above and beyond!
Window World has a great product for the price. They were by far the best prices if your looking for return on investment. We replaced 19 wood windows with vinyl and they look amazing. Our salesman Doug was great. Yes you do have to sit through a sales pitch, but not nearly as high pressure as other salesman we have dealt with. He is also very accommodating when I email over and over again with questions. It did take 12 weeks for the windows to come in as they had said. When the installers came out they were amazingly fast. All 19 windows out and replaced in less than half a day. They came back the next day to wrap the trim and caulk and clean. It was amazingly fast and the results are wonderful! Its been at least a month and I cant stop looking at them! The windows Definately seem to decrease noise from outside as well.Much quieter when its raining and such. Looking forward to potentialy working with them on other projects!
We had gotten quotes from several other window companies and had decided on one. However, they ended up doing a couple of things that completely annoyed me and made me change my mind. Fortunately!-I called Window World for an appointment to get a quote and was able to get someone out the very next day.-The sales rep, Shane, did a great job showing the value of going with Window World, without making us feel any pressure to make a decision that day. We did, however, end up ordering the windows the same day.-Their price was actually better than any of the other quotes I had gotten.-We went with double-hung/tilt-in, full screen windows with the grids in between the glass (so much easier to clean).-The windows were ordered on February 1st and installed on February 27th. Amazing turn-around time!-It took one installer just over five hours to install five windows.-The installer (Elliott) was very conscientious about every detail. He didnt take a single break while here. He did a good job cleaning up after himself. He even fixed the caulk on one window that I accidentally messed up.-The company accepts credit cards (we used a Visa), without an added fee. Some companies either dont accept them, or charge an additional fee for doing so. (One of the reasons we ended up not going with company A).-Theres a noticeable difference in the (lack of) outside noise.-We are very pleased with both the windows and the installation, and feel confident that any issues will be taken care of by Window World.

Terrible experience. Just got sliding glass door installed yesterday. This has been the fourth attempt of install. Waited over 6 months for my door to be made, first two set appointments where I made arrangements for someone to be at house were canceled because I was told workers had the flu each time. 3rd time finally got them out and they had made the door opening from the wrong side. Had to wait another month and a half for them to have manufactured built. 4th time sent installer with wrong trim color for door. Luckily I had some leftover that Taylor’s windows and signs left me when they did my windows years ago. Asked them what kind of discount are they going to give me for all this trouble and time. I was told they don’t have much money in our doors so we can’t offer you further discount. Not even 10 percent off of my purchase. Only reason I give them one star is because the installer was a nice guy. I had a wonderful experience with Taylor’s window and sights when I used them for windows. I knew I should have went with my gut and used them again. Hope this helps

Great people to work for and with
Arrived at 4:05 PM yesterday (Friday) to look at door and window options for my remodel. The hours on the website and on the front door of the building say 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday. However, the door was locked, it was dark inside, no sign of anyone around, no note apologizing for closing early.
