The Scullery is amazing! If you are a local or a first time visitor this is the spot for breakfast!! Perfect for family, friend, or co-worker get togethers. They have healthy options on the menu and will cater to your allergy needs as well. I come here all the time with friends or just to get a coffee. I have never had a bad experience. The staff is nice, the restaurant is clean, and every meal is cooked to perfection. Food is also quick to get to you. I 10/10 recommend.

Hmm … So, you order at the counter, pay, are assigned a table, and then it becomes full service 🤷🏻‍♂️. The staff was pleasant. The food came quickly, and was pretty good, but the coffees didn’t come until after we were finished eating 😕. And, maybe because we hadn’t ordered those coffee drinks before and didn’t know HOW they should taste … whatever … not a fan. Overall, not sure it was a good return for the $30.

Went to Scullery this morning for breakfast with my husband. We were blown away at how wonderful and friendly the service was. The food came fast and was ABSOLUTELY wondrous, full of flavor, and cooked perfectly. We cant wait to go back, this will certainly be a regular place for us!

My first time eating here and the restaurant was nice later back. The food I had was breakfast burrito and it was a very big burrito very tasty I could eat the whole thing looking forward to going back.😉

I went there for the first time today with my son and daughter. The wait time was short it was only a 10 minutes wait and the service was excellent, the food was superb, my French toast was not soggy and it was not eggy it was just right. My daughter ordered the strawberry pancakes and it was not soggy it was cooked well the strawberries was not soggy even I ate it. Bacon was crisp the mocha is to die for. I don’t believe in spending a mint for coffee, so I usually make it at home; but their Mocha was excellent and sweet enough to complement my French toast. I had two. Great place to eat! To paraphrase a famous one liner: “We’ll be back” 😍

Nowhere near what I was expecting. The grits were mushy, visually unappealing and tasteless. The toast was saw dust dry. The first chia latte was a latte without the chia but the barista was amazing and remade it for me. The fruit bowl was fresh and delicious and All the staff is amazing and so attentive and outgoing that Id come back just for those three things. Staff/latte/fruit . ⭐⭐⭐

Probably the best hashbrowns I have ever had (perfect flavor, perfect amount of cheese) I live in PA, and I literally have thought about my breakfast at this restaurant every day since Ive been home--- which has been almost a week. Will be back next time Im in town! Great place!!!

Really great, cozy place to grab a quick bite. My wife and I love their Sloppy Joe. They are also super friendly and offer amazing service. I appreciate that they worked with me so well to work with our sons nut allergy.

Never had a bad meal from this place. Service is always great too. I wish we had more places like this in town. I love that they source as much locally as they can and that the food is always fresh!I rarely give 5s on restaurants but they definitely deserve it.

Lunch time was great. Busy but not full. Winter salad with chicken was absolutely perfect.A bit loud of an atmosphere but its a college town at lunch so it was alright.

Vegan burger was tasty. Tomato Basil soup without dairy (optional) was yummy. Cozy setting.

You need to know what you want before you come bc you order as soon as you get here, there will be a line behind you is kinda uncomfortable bc you’re basically in a hurry to order. Came here 5 years ago while visiting and it was a dirty looking, disgusting place, with just as disgusting looking young people working there. Food, service and place was the worst, and in 5 years nothing has changed, as I just went to see how it was. I wouldnt take a dog there.You would think that with all the great growth in Greenville, that the owner of this hole would wake up, especially as it sits on a great corner location.Gut this place out, and put in a new real diner!!!

One of the best places for food and coffee in Greenville. It is located in uptown Greenville with a few stores nearby. It’s a nice place to eat and then walk around outside. I almost always order the egg in a hole grilled cheese and the big burrito. The Scullery also has fresh ice cream made with local ingredients. Its a great place to enjoy fresh good food and they have many healthy options.

Simply Delicious !This was our 2nd visit and both times the wait staff were all attentive and pleasant. Food arrived promptly after ordering. The coffee was delicious, I had a vanilla Latte with an extra espresso shot. My daughter requested almond milk in her iced coffee and they happily accommodated us. Quiche of the day with potatoes as my side was a delicious brunch meal. Dont leave without trying the sausage and cheese balls! Definitely our favorite downtown restaurant! Great menu, quality food and service! I even purchased a bag of their delicious coffee beans (sold by the ounce) Joe Van Gough - City Lights was the name of the coffee today.

Service was excellent, food was excellent, one of the few restaurants in town that are operated as if the people there actually care. The only downside was the table (#12) where we sat should probably just be thrown away and replaced, and theres a real SJW hippy vibe to the place.

Food is made well enough, however I felt that a little more attention to preparedness on a slow morning would have been more sufficient to quality of the food production. Hot foods should be separated in another container with cold foods for example. I believe they can certainly produce a great quality product but may need some more oversight on the micro instead of macro scale. Would try again so dont fret this company is certainly capable.

If you go in regularly like we do the staff starts to remember what your favorite dishes are (it might also be that my daughter likes to detail her order, shes 7). So happy to have continued to watch this place thrive since the day they opened the doors!

Great every time I go! Im a little disappointed that the gravy and biscuits is no longer available. I was going today especially for the biscuits and gravy. Im moving out of the area. I had the hunger pirate breakfast instead. First time Ive had their pancakes, I added chocolate chips. The meal was great.

Each time I go there I am disappointed, but I keep going back because locals love it. The last time I was there I ordered their biscuits and gravy, but when it came out it was so gross (grainy, cold, etc) that I just got up and left (it was already paid for). Their basic food is good though: pancakes, eggs, etc, but nothing special.

This is a good place for breakfast food. Staff is always great! Food is good! The owner does really good things to support the community as well, which I appreciate. I have seen a couple of people complain about their operating hours on CHRISTMAS EVE, which I see as a little bit weird because as a locally owner restaurant, they are most likely going to change their Christmas Eve hours as well as other holiday hours. I believe google also places type in orange font saying hours may vary due to ____ holiday, so I always prefer to check facebook for hours updates on local places as most locally owned places will put hours updates notifications on there. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because of cleanliness. I have experience dirty silverware, which isnt a huge deal, but also the area behind their restaurant always has dirty cleaning water draining out onto the sidewalk that people end up having to walk through which is not always fun. Other than that, I really do love this place & always enjoy coming here! :)

My husband and I have been eating here for years! We always have a great experience, and sometimes, when were very lucky, we might get to hear a song sung by the owner, Matt! The food is great! I usually get a bagel with egg and cheese, and sometimes Ill get the cheesy grits on the side. You cant go wrong with anything here, though.

Ive been here twice, I got the blueberry and strawberry pancakes with a side of hash browns. The pancakes are fluffy and heavenly, complete with butter and a side of syrup. The hash browns came in a small bowl filled to the rim. The staff are all welcoming and kind, greeting you as you come in and a bid adieu on your way out. Its pretty packed and busy in the morning with not much space on the table or to get around. Later in the afternoon, it starts to calm down. Overall, I recommend this place.

Coffee was AMAZING. So so good. But 4 stars because the quiche was so dry it was not edible. I believe it was missing milk in the recipe. So hopefully this gets passed along to improve the recipe because I’d be willing to try again! Very lovely employees and atmosphere!

This place is great! I stop in whenever I visit my dad in Greenville. I haven’t tried the breakfasts, which I hear are amazing, but I HIGHLY recommend “Bird’s The Word” off the sandwich menu. I believe that one of the finest things in the world is quality breakfast food. If youre in the area, look no further than The Scullery. The pancakes are sensational. You can draw on the tables with chalk so you and your friends can plan your schemes while you indulge in the delicious food.

Delicious food! Generous servings, especially the Healthy Breakfast. Fresh, tasty food and lots of great choices. The turkey panini was wonderful. The service was great. One star off for volume. Maybe when the place is full, the music could be turned down? It was hard to have a conversation.

Loved this place. I got a chocolate mint latte and expected more of a typical ice cream flavor, but what I got was a fantastically flavored beverage. My wife got a salmon on a bagel and it had a good amount of salmon. I got the quiche and it was great.The grits were what all grits aim for, but rarely achieve. I could have eaten a while bowl.

Great food but the service could be MUCH better. Every time I’ve come in it has taken at least 10+ minutes for me to be acknowledged. Employees talk amongst themselves before taking orders and are often rude. My call in orders are either forgotten about or left to sit. I would recommend hiring more professional employees or getting a bigger space with more employees.

The Scullery has had a vital role in my graduate school career their great lattes, amazing food and awesome staff always creates a nice break in between classes, work or classwork. They have the best latte artists in town, if you want a real work of art in latte form you go to the scullery. And if you want to add some art around your artful latte you can draw on the tables with chalk. Definitely a place you have to go during your ECU career. They change their menu seasonally and you will never be disappointed in the options or their specials. Their soul burger they have on special every now and then has to be the best burger Ive ever had.

Yum! This place has some really good sandwiches and breakfast. Casual experience as it has the chill coffee bar feel to it. When I went around lunch time it was very busy. Pictured is the birds the word and the biscuits and gravy. Everything seems to have a healthy vibe to it. Biscuits and gravy were different, but I like them and it came with eggs! Also try the cheese balls, pretty tasty. HUGE selection of coffee and WiFi to do some work.

I have been to the Scullery before and liked the food and coffee. Yesterday they hosted the Drag Brunch and the food was amazing, especially the Mac and cheese. I’m definitely going to start coming more frequently. Thanks for being so supportive of everyone in the community.

This is a great brunch spot. I had the breakfast bowl and a vanilla latte. Everything is fresh and local. My lunch mates both ordered lunch items and were not as happy, but still liked it. My meal was filling and delicious.

One of my favorite brunch places in Greenville (even though they are open later/ have a regular menu). They do tend to be packed weekend mornings and weekends when ECU families are in town so get there right at opening.

This is absolutely the go to for breakfast in Greenville! We have been going for several years, and it never disappoints. The food is fantastic, the service is great, and the owner is amazing and very involved in the community. We have taken several friends and family members to introduce them to our favorite spot, and it quickly becomes their new favorite as well! It is small and can fill quickly, so I recommend going early. Keep an eye out for the wonderful specials they offer, they are alway a treat.

This was my first experience, and the food was really good. I had cinnamon roll pancakes, bacon and eggs. The pancakes were the best, Ive never had a cinnamon roll flavor before. The portion was generous and the eggs were scrambled perfectly. Id recommend this place to anyone.

I really enjoyed my food. However, there services were a bit too relaxed for my taste. I saw my server twice; there was the initial order taking and second, bringing my receipt. I was never asked if I wanted anything whilst I ate. Like I said, a bit too relaxed for my taste.

Went with my daughter who has been once before and said it was really good. It was my first time and was excited to try it. Walked in and stood briefly before finding a table. Two different waitress looked at us but never said anything to us. They were not that busy. We waited for about 10 minutes. Then a gentleman came in and sat at the table right behind us and within a few minutes a waitress was at his table with a menu. We left! Very disappointed! Never got a be with you shortly. Nothing but ignored!

If you want great tasting breakfast made from scratch with real non-artificial ingredients, go to Scullery. They only open officially Mon - Sat and host ticketed charitable events on occasions some Sundays. Staff is friendly and turnaround on meals is fast if not busy(always on Saturday). I have waited an hour in past to get seating for 4. Ask about Uptown Greenville discount if you work Uptown.

Whenever I visit a college town, it is necessary to eat at the popular hipster breakfast place. Every campus area has one, and this one does not disappoint. Well executed breakfast items and great coffee.
