This store is awful about greeting and acknowledgement of your entering the store. But I still give 4 stars and continue to go back because once youโ€™ve gotten their attention, they are awesome. But the greetings need some work for sure. ESP for an Augusta Road store where wonderful service should be top priority. The shoe selection is second to none ๐Ÿ’™ wonderful store

My sons have wide feet, and prior to shopping here we always bought their shoes at Stride Rite. I purchased my youngests shoes here in the spring and came back this fall. On the day we visited the owner was working in the shop, she is very friendly and more importantly knowledge about the product she carries and which brands work best for your childrens feet and needs. We will definitely be back the next time they need shoes.

Went in to buy shoes for my grandson. Asked about prices. Was told she had bigger fish to fry rather than putting prices on shoes. And would I mind if she went in the back to stock while I was looking. My daughter was upset and we left. Found shoes on line instead

Went in today, August 15, 2018 with my granddaughters. Needed shoes for my sons wedding. There were 2 employees working and store was not terribly busy. We were not greeted upon entry to store. Were not asked if I needed help. Were not acknowledged whatsoever. I waited, we found several pairs of shoes we liked. Still no help. Upon leaving were were not offered a goodbye, come again nor ever a smile. I will never go back. Angry.

Magical experience today for this Mamie who was able to share in the fitting and selection of first walking shoes for my almost 11 mo. old grandson. My daughter, grandson and I were in Greenville for a family occasion earlier in the afternoon and found this boutique on our way out of Greenville and were so pleasantly surprised when we walked in and saw the wide selection of shoes to include the Footjoy waking shoes that a friend had recommended as a must for soon to be walkers. We meandered about the store as the 2 sales associates wrapped up the fittings for 2 other little ones..... our sales associate was so precious, knowledgeable, interactive and patient with our little one who didnโ€™t exactly want to cooperate with one foot in particular which made the proper fitting a challenge. It was such a sweet experience that my daughter had to snap a photo of our Jack with the sales associate to document the experience of this big milestone.

Here is how I expected my visit to go:We were greeted enthusiastically at the door and the team member introduced herself and crouched down to my 2 year old and said, hi! My name is _____! Whats your name? My daughter gave her a high five and they became fast friends. The team member asked us what we might be looking for and assured us that she would find just the shoes for our little girl. She told my daughter she needed to see how big her feet were, asked is if it was okay to measure and then got a great measurement (both sitting and standing). She educated us about our daughters high instep and wide feet and let us know which brands and styles work best for her foot and that it was important to get the proper fit since her feet are growing so fast. She let us look around while she ran out back to grab a couple pair she knew would work well for the summer and fit the needs we described earlier. Since my 2 year old was so comfortable with her, she climbed right on up the stairs and sat on the cool little platform and let the team member fit her with shoes. Some styles didnt fit her wide feet quite right and the employee told us what we should look for and suggested alternatives. We settled on a pair she recommended, paid, and went on our merry way. My daughter cant wait to go back and get more shoes and we felt so warm, welcome, and educated that we didnt bat an eye at spending $60 for a pair of shoes that will last for only 3 months. The real story:Nothing like that. It wasnt a warm reception (they seemed eager to close for the holiday weekend). We had just moved down from NH and our daughters shoes got too tight during the move so we had to pop into a store before the busy weekend. The woman didnt really acknowledge our daughter and it was all business. She did a great job measuring but didnt mention anything about the width of her feet and then we picked out shoes we liked and she tried them on our daughter and they were obviously not a good fit. I would rather her be honest and say, these dont really fit well instead of rationalizing the fact that her feet were too wide and therefore the shoes were too big in the size she needed. We were about to pull the trigger on a pair of shoes that we just didnt love when she recommended a T strap for her (we told her Mary Janes dont work well). We ended up with a pair of shoes we loved and an experience we didnt. Weve never really batted an eye at spending for quality shoes, but I guess thats because we are used to having the experience laid out above.Ive worked in customer service since I was 14 (so 20 years) and the majority of those years were spent working for a company that deals with children all day every day. I know it gets taxing and the days are long in retail. Im hoping this was just an off day and not the norm because I love small business and they need to excel at the experience for the customers (both parents and kids) in order to keep us from getting sized at their store and then buying the shoes on amazon for half the price.

Horrible experience. We were on list and passed up twice by other customers that were after us. Tried to mention this to staff who ignored us. First impressions are everything and they did not measure up.
