He is extremely talented and maintains the highest standards for the work he and his team execute.He and his team are focused, hard-working, polite, and respectful. They were also honest, reliable, and dependable. They were very trustworthy when we were not in the home and were meticulous in locking doors and setting alarms behind themselves.Paul is very communicative and responsive. Without any prompting from us, he sent pictures of the progress when we were away for longer periods.Throughout the entirety of the job, it was the cleanest job site my husband or I have ever seen. They must have cleaned up after themselves every day. Even before the job started, Paul posted signs in the bathroom and other spaces with instructions on maintaining a high level of cleanliness.Paul and his team went above and beyond, often fixing other items around the house at no extra charge.Paul and his team are extremely talented and capable of executing very high end jobs that require precision and skill. They worked and coordinated well with others, including the architects, interior designer, our home manager, etc.It would take a lot for us to not give Paul Johnson preferential consideration on any future project we have. We continue to work with him and have already recommended him to family and close friends.

Paul is a consummate professional. We had him doing an assortment of projects from re-doing our master bath, to installing some walls to separate rooms and finish a guest room and basement, and he was always on track with his plan, on time, and committed to making us a customer for life. Paul came out to my (rural) home twice for planning, and then sent a very nice crew to install the vanity when I finally made up my mind (after several changes). I was initially attracted by the pics of gorgeous kitchens that Gryphon has created, and I wasnt disappointed. I love my sleek new cabinets. Pauls taste level is high, and he understood what was needed for my contemporary home.

Today I realized that this will be the first summer in three years we will not spend “camping out” with Paul Johnson. That’s because we are now happily living in ALL of our little, 50-year-old ranch house.Two summers ago we hired PLJI to revamp the kitchen, living and dining room area. We lived in our house as walls came down and throughout the entire project. Camping during a renovation is not as much fun as camping in the woods when you’re a kid, but Paul and his people made it bearable and the space he created was worth the adventure.Last summer we invited Paul (and Jordan) back to gut and rebuild all three of our bathrooms. Another challenge. I was rather grumpy at times; I am (a little) OCD and I wished we could move out until it was all done. But Paul is not only a meticulous craftsman whose standards surpass even mine, he is exceptionally kind, patient and forgiving. When the dust cleared we were still friends, and every detail in every bathroom was perfect.If you are contemplating a quality home remodel, you need look no further than Paul L. Johnson Interiors. You will be more than satisfied with his level of service and workmanship, and when he is done you will be absolutely thrilled with the house he leaves you.

We did a full kitchen remodel plus a bar area with Paul L Johnson Interiors in 2015. I cannot say enough good about the experience. Paul and his son, Jordan, our project manager, were extremely responsive to all communications, and they worked through challenges pleasantly. They paid attention to every detail and always went the extra mile. All workers in our home were courteous and skilled. We are thrilled with the high quality of the work they did for us. Paul and his team were so great to work with that working with anyone else moving forward would be a let down. We will always call Paul L. Johnson Interiors first with our remodeling needs in the future!

Id like to speak to the quality of the work done by Paul L. Johnson Interiors, but seeing as they cancelled the two appointments that they scheduled, I cannot. The second appointment was cancelled one hour prior to the time scheduled. This was AFTER my husband had arranged to take off of work and I had rearranged my schedule as well. Asserting their professionalism by consistently cancelling scheduled appointments on such short notice proves quite the opposite. After my husband let them know how unprofessional their actions were, he received a call from Paul himself, only to be hung up on. Hanging up the phone mid-conversation is not what I would call professional. If youre looking for someone to trust with your time, this is definitely not who I would recommend. If youre looking for someone that will be professional, timely, and considerate in their communication, this is not who I would recommend.

My family decided to renovate our home in Simpsonville, SC the summer of 2013 and we went through a bunch of contractors before finding Paul Johnson. Paul came highly recommended from one of the stores we visited in Greenville while trying to get our project started. He started our experience by promptly returning my initial phone call and showing up early on the day we first met, thats a great start in my book! Paul helped my wife and I come up with ideas for our full kitchen, (2) bath and floor remodel. He worked hard to make sure our personal schedules were not affected during the renovation and hes very detail oriented and plans a schedule ahead of time so theres no surprises. The end result was a home we were proud of and his team did a wonderful job. Paul Johnson went above and beyond our expectations, and he made working with a contractor a good experience. We give our personal recommendation to Paul Johnson Interiors and suggest you give him a try as well when youre ready to get started improving your home.
