I came in last week, and my hands were full with two anxious and exhausted kids. A sweet young woman who assisted me made a very sweet comment as she saw that I as well was tired (Motherhood).She helped me take my tote back to my car since my hands were full. We live in a time that kindness and grace is needed. It really meant alot. Thank you!

The staff are wonderful! I lost my identification and credit cards in the parking lot outside their store while leaving a nearby retailer and they sent it back to me fully intact and saved my mind. Thank you so much for taking an extra step and for being genuinely good humans!

I like this store, but **please note their current hours are not correct on here**. I drove all the way out here and the store closed at 7 instead of 8 like it states online. Super disappointed bc I had some real needs before a wedding and family photos and this was the only time I could get over here to look for them.

Sold 80 clothing items here for $60. Couldn’t even give me a $1 per item and they were cute stuff. But the super cute stuff like old navy jeans and really nice cute stuff they didn’t even take. I don’t get it

In observation of Halloween decided not to take any more buys only an hour after opening.

I took them two bag of clothes an they only offered 13.00 I went ahead and accepted the deal but next time Ill go back to kid to kid they offer more.

This store is definitely not efficiently ran. I have been to multiple other once upon a Child stores and they allow you to come in, they get your information and will send you a text message when the items you are looking to sell have been reviewed. you can leave and come back before the day ends to see what they will and won’t buy from you. This store forces you to stay in the store, which creates a cluster of people who don’t want to shop, they just wanted to sell items. I’m not sure why,( especially durning covid )you would want to create a cluster of people in an already small store. They already send you a text message when your items have been reviewed so let people leave the store and come back!

Out of 8 items my wife took. They only kept 1 the worst looking thing. Sent us back with name brand clothes practically new. I asked why. They said they looked a little worn! Will never go back again!

I saw all of the negative reviews on here, but I decided that I would make my own opinion, so I went to see what I could find. I’m not sure all of the bad reviews, but I had an excellent experience! I had one young lady to get me a cart, while I was shopping. I got in line to pay, and there was only one person in front of me, but another young lady immediately came to another register to take care of me. The prices are very reasonable, and I left with a purchase of 6 items. I would definitely recommend the Once Upon A Child on Woodruff Rd. in Greenville to anyone that was wanting nice clothes at a fair price!! Katie is who checked me out, and she was very nice and helpful!!! I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

I was charged a surcharge for using my debit card in store. Will not be back. Many other children’s stores in the area do not do this.

The employees here have really gone down hill. Very rude no customer service at all! It takes several minutes of standing in line before anyone acknowledges you. I’ve seen employees on their phones behind the front counter while ignoring customers. They never speak to you and always have rude attitudes. Jasmine especially I have had multiple issues with her not verbally communicating. Someone really needs to get onto the employees regarding their customer service and verbally speaking to customers.

I sold here about 2 months ago and made roughly $65 on my daughters gently used toddler clothes. Id say I got a good deal as I was only expecting to make about $30 or so. My selling experience was quick and easy. I decided to shop here for the first time today. The weather literally changed over night. Thank you once upon a child for having everything organized and ready to purchase. I made out with 10 onesies, 3 sweaters, and 2 pairs of pants for my son all for $35 (and a toy for my daughter 😅) ! I really enjoyed my shopping experience. Thanks for being a go to in this sudden weather change, while my funds were low I was pleased with being able to find quality items to keep my baby warm ! I will definitely be back !

This store was such a disappointment. I loved this store in all the locations I have gone to in NY . This location had a poor selection and seemed higher in price than other stores.

I brought clothes to be sorted because I really the cash for a planned vacation with my daughter and her friend.The staff informed me there would be a delay as they had a bunch to go through.Devestated I explained my situation if losing my debit card and how excited the kids were and they offered up all kinds of help and had us sorted in less than 2 hours!!!! 😁 Thank you to Amber Mindy Abby and Kim for pushing us through so fast!!!! The children are very happy to be able to go 😊.Julie and Nya were also very pleasant at check out and were very curious 😁Thank you all so very much!!!!

I recently went to once upon a child, it was my first visit. I came across their website by doing a web search on buying back/ trading baby clothes. I was so excited when I visited. Had just about everything you can think of a child will need. I was very pleased at this location. I definitely recommend coming here, friendly staff, great atmosphere and everything was easy to find.I will be coming back when I go clothing shopping for my children. This is my new favorite store.

This is the absolute worst place to buy or sell childrens clothes. If you go in to sell, they pretty must expect you to make a donation, because they will pay you so very little, that if you agree to sell to them, you will absolutely be donating! It is ridiculous! As for buying, you might find an occasional deal if you dig around, but I have seen clothes priced higher there used, than I can go out and buy them for new. I have even pointed this out, to no avail.

This staff is amazing. The ENTIRE staff that worked the evening of Saturday Aug 17 did the very definition of going beyond the call of duty. I cant thank them enough. I hope the manager was there to see what an amazing job they did in helping me and my wife sell our gently used toys. They bent over backwards to make sure we were taken care of. To all of yall that helped me and my wife THANK YOU!!

Great first visit. Store is clean, well organized, a lot of good deals, and staff was very nice and friendly. I will be back.

First and last time I will ever enter this store, I took a whole big bag full of boy clothes all name brand and a few still had tags on them when I returned to the store to wait for them to text me I never received a text, so when I was done shopping I asked about it and they said they didnt get anything out. When I opened the bag the clothes were still placed the same way I had put them in there. which means they didnt take the time out to look through it. I drove 45 min and fought traffic for absolutely nothing! If the people yall have that go through the bags dont want to do there jobs I think they might should find new ones!!!

The prices are actually decent! But the staff is terrible. We just moved back to Greenville and this is the closest location to us. I shopped and sold today. Literally the entire time I was there and had any interaction with an employee, I felt like I was bothering them. There’s nothing but a ton of snotty teenagers who CLEARLY think they’re better than you, who work there. The only person who was actually kind, was the only obvious adult working. (I think someone called her Emily?) There is also a younger girl with very short hair who is normally there and we love her, she’s so sweet. But the others ruined it for me today. The attitudes were horrible. The girl who checked me out, talked to me like I was stupid. Repeating herself and having a nasty tone. And I had tons of clothes to try and sell.. all of which are less than a year old. I went through everything while packing it up and then again in the parking lot. The item at the top of the “no” basket was a brand new spring dress! Oh well, your loss! I have no clue what I actually sold for the $33, other than 2 things, because when the girl was telling me how much they were offering (same girl that checked me out), she gave me a nasty look and rudely told me to keep everything in order in the basket because they have to tag it that way. I was holding a one year old and was attempting to look through my things with one hand. I ended up just saying that it’d be fine, because at that point, I had had it with the nasty attitudes. Keep in mind I’m probably no more than 7 years older than these girls, so I don’t know if they just think that they don’t need to respect a younger person, or what. But I think we’re done with this store.And as someone else mentioned in a review, all of my things were thrown back in my laundry basket. Yet I took the time to nicely fold everything for them and keep sets together. But they don’t even respect you as a person or buying customer. Why on earth would they respect our things?!

Went with my wife to sale some of our sons old clothes today for the first time and the service was absolutely amazing! Very friendly environment. They were exceptional! 5 stars to Once Upon A Child. We will definitely be back to buy and sale in the near future.

People need to realize that they only buy what they need and whats in demand. Ive been several times and sometimes I get offered a lot while other times not so much. The prices are very reasonable however, the ONLY complaint I have is the staff. Some can be so rude and act as if Im the burden for making them check me out/asking questions.

Lowest score I can give is one star. They keep changing what they tell me when I take clothes in to sell. Last time I was told I had to have an appointment to drop off but they’d make an exception for me. Then was told I needed to come back another day to get money. I call to set up appointment they tell me they do t make appointment. I get there I’m told I have to come back today to get money. Won’t shop here again or consign here again.

This place customer service was terrible. The young women in there gave me an attitude over the phone and in person. They did not explain their process clearly to me and was very rude. They process sucks. I will never go back

I love once upon a child in Greenville. The owners are so friendly and the sweetest people ever! I have been to other ones but they are so unorganized and can’t get help. But the owners and staff here are so much helpful and the store is so organized from sizes to even colored clothes so it makes shopping way easier! I highly recommend coming to this once upon a child!

This place is so unorganized!! It is so crowded the second you walk in. It is not even the customers who make it crowded, it’s all the stuff they always have piled at the door and stuffed in corners. My wife and I went in to try and make some money off some clothes and we had to wait over 3 hours only to get $3 off an entire bag of Carter brand clothing (which isn’t even a year old). For an hour or two of the three hours the workers we just standing and talking. They also had a deal going on: 10 onesies for $10. Sounds great right? Well we brought up the 10 onesies only to be charged over $20 even though the section was labeled 10 for $10. The worker didn’t even mention to us which items weren’t included in the sale and allow us to swap them. We had to come back another time to return it all. Overall, it is not worth fighting with this place and wasting your time to make $3. You are better off taking your clothes to Goodwill. And there are plenty of other child clothing stores that are cheaper and more organized than this dump. It was a big let down even after the third visit.

I am a single mom to 6. I have 5 teenagers and 1 five yr old. We are able to find stylish clothes for everyone here. The store is beautiful and the employees go the extra mile. I enjoy shopping here so much I have joined the team. They work hard to be flexible with my crazy schedule. I enjoy the people I work with and think of them as my extended family. What an awesome combination. I have the best of both worlds. I love to work where I shop and shop where I work.

Horrible place to sell to! It smells musty as soon as you hit the door and they don’t give you much for anything you sell them! You’re better off doing a good deed and donating to Goodwill

I love to get my kids clothes here. I never leave the store without finding some great items. The only downside is the staff is almost always rude or acts stuck up. They never smile and have a bad attitude.

This store is nice like a boutique. Very well organized. I love the fact that I know going in that the clothes have been held to a high standard to be free of wrinkles, stains and too much wear and tear. I have sold clothes and feel like I was paid fairly...and paid in CASH. Most places dont offer that. The selection and staff are wonderful. I recommend this to all my friends. Great place to get name brand clothes for a good price.

I usually love shopping here but recently had a pretty negative experience, forcing me to change my review. I was specifically looking for strollers the other day. Most of the strollers were stained, worn, and one even had cracker crumbs in it. As I was walking down the aisle I saw a giant dead roach. When I pointed it out, none of the staff cared to clean it up. Before writing this review, I sent the business a message on Facebook pointing out the cleanliness issues I noticed. I received what I felt was a sarcastic response without taking issues seriously.

Not a good place to sell your kids old clothes at, waited about 30 minutes just so they could get some of the things I brought in, and just payed me $5, and returned basically almost the whole basket of clothes. Which they were all in great condition. So I just wasted like 20 minute drive to there for nothing. Waste of time and gas.

Really like the new store. But I am upset over how they handled our clothing that we tried to sell. They require people to bring in clothing neat and laid out nicely in containers or baskets. But once the items have been gone through and rejected, they are thrown back into containers any which way. Not cool! Also, my wife and I pride ourselves in keeping our kids clothes clean and neat. The clothes that we try to sell ARE MOST DEFINITELY not “stained, worn, or faded.” There are clothes on the racks that are far worse off than what we tried to sell. Over all, my wife and I really like the new store! Just wish that they treated our clothes better and see more fair on what they reject/accept.

Great selection of cute clothes, for all ages, with fantastic prices. The clothes are well organized and easy to find by age or size. Theres room for improvement around the outer edges of the store though. Random odds and ends are put together with like items, but are clumped in a pile on the floor or tossed in a box. Most of the strollers are on a very, very high shelf around the store, making it impossible to look at them or to even see a price. For space reasons, it makes sense. From a customers perspective, its very frustrating. If youre only there for clothes, you probably wont even notice. We happen to be shopping for a stroller that day and ultimately left without one, not wanting to go through the hassle. We did, however, buy quite a few cute outfits and will definitely shop there again.

Took a huge bin of clothes in to sell and they took maybe 6 or 7 items and only gave 4 dollars. Most of the clothes wear almost new and worn maybe one time. No idea what they are looking for unless its brand new clothes with tags. Store looked cluttered. Wont be back.

Overall the store is organized and has a good selection, but due to the curt and unprofessional employees and extremely inefficient organization for checking out, I will choose any other childrens resale shop in Greenville before this one. I dropped clothes off to sell and was met with an anything but helpful employee and then when I returned had to wait in a line with folks purchasing clothes which was at least 10 deep to simply find out what they had selected to purchase and pickup my rejected items. Once I was finally able to talk to someone and get my leftovers, it was over 30 mins. I will likely not be returning until the store can figure out a more efficient system to serve customers dropping off/picking up clothes and those simply purchasing clothes separately and train employees to treat customers with respect.

This was the MOST disappointing experience. I brought in two bins of high quality, very good condition clothes and shoes, and was given literally $1 per pair for name brand shoes (Nike, Jack Rogers, Converse). And most of the clothes were returned to me. What a rip off. I will never take anything there for sale again. Can sell it myself via Facebook and actually get decent money.

I like the store itself; great variety of things to choose from & most items are good quality. But I have never been in a store where all of the employees are rude and very unprofessional!!! I have visited your store 4 times and the employees are the worst ever!!! One time I was at the counter waiting to check out and there was 4 employees behind the counter and not one of them acknowledged me and there was one employee right in front of me sorting out hangers and never once said I will be right with you or anything! She continued sorting out her hangers until she was done! And when she waited on me she never once apologized for my wait! I dont think I will be back and I have also told family and friends how rude and unprofessional your employees are!

This place is very nice and organized. Good prices. This is a buyers place to go. The low reviews are from people trying to sell the stuff they bring in for retail. Lots of people in this world lack a functioning brain. Want proof just read the negative reviews. I will shop here often.

I finally gathered my kids clothes from last summer and brought them in to sell. I wasn’t expecting much in return. When I came back, they informed me that they couldn’t buy anything today since they weren’t freshly laundered. Seriously? They have gone from the dryer into the basket I brought them in. The clothes hadn’t even been looked at. I don’t use heavily perfumed cleaner on my laundry due to sensitivities. I guess it needs to reek of tide and downy before they even dare touch the clothes. I definitely will not waste my time again trying to sell with them.

Love Once Upon A Child! Been shopping there for the past 3 years. The owner and stuff is always so sweet and helpful to me.

I brought in a basket full of NICE name brand clothes. I was hoping to get a decent amount being some of them still were new with tags. They offered me $31 for 22 items. That makes it right around $1.40 per item they merchandised. Then they’ll turn around and sale those items for $5-7 a piece. Call me crazy but I don’t find that fair.I’ve always liked the store for selection on clothing but as for resale I’ll NEVER go back there again. I’ll stick to my other consignments who pay far more with store credit.

I think some of the reviews here are totally off base. This store has been great for me and my family. The prices are fair and reasonable. I bought a pack and play for $25 that was practically brand new. I love the variety of clothes and baby equipment. I like this store, its clean and well-maintained, and I look forward to shopping here again!

Good selection of gently used kid and baby clothes as well as toys and gear. I prefer to buy here rather than sell. I received about 1/5 of the value. Plus side you walk out with the cash but I make more elsewhere.

This store is a complete joke and I love once upon a child stores and I will never go to this one again. Good luck getting someone to help you. I had six bags of clothes most of them new because my daughter got big so fast and I guess that was to much work for them because I came back with the same amount.

Awful. I read the reviews prior to coming here and decided to give them a shot. I brought 4 bags of toys/clothes and when I got inside, it was everything I could do just to get someone’s attention to which the older woman rudely told me to get in line behind another lady. Dropped my stuff off, came back & was offered $1.95 for 3 ITEMS (not a huge deal, I get that they sell for cheap so they can’t pay out a bunch, but still). But 1. They did not go through all my bags (I packed them very particularly), 2. Every worker I came into contact with, minus the cashier, was snotty & rude. Literally biggest waste of time and gas. PLEASE don’t waste your time. I will not be back. Kid to kid was way better.

I have wasted my time twice now trying to sell items to this store and will not make the same mistake again. The first time I came in, I had several boxes of laundered, folded, and neatly organized clothes. What I got back was a jumbled mess they made of the clothes, having only accepted a couple of items out of each box because the rest were deemed unacceptable. Most recently, I took in two bouncy seats and a play gym. I was told my name would appear on the board when they were finished going over the items. 30 minutes later, my name had still not appeared for these 3 items, so I inquired. They had been ready for quite a while, and my name had just been neglected to be written on the board. After all of that, I was told they would not take any of the three items, due to what they deemed as signs of wear and tear. One bouncy seat evidently had some battery corrosion in the vibrating seat component. What I find interesting about that is that I bought that very seat from them a few months ago and was told upon purchasing it that the seat vibrations didnt work. I never even opened the battery compartment. I guess their standards change from day to day or month to month as to what they will accept. Interestingly enough, I tried to buy a $30 exersaucer from them that turned out to be missing a part. After they searched for the part and couldnt find it, I was unable to purchase the item. So they wont take my gently used items, but they will try to sell me a piece of equipment that is missing a vital component??? I guess what gets me the most is that this is a consignment store. They sell USED items. By definition, used items are no longer in perfect and pristine condition. That is why you can get them at a discounted price. I have never tried to bring anything in to them with more than reasonable wear and tear, if any, but they have turned their noses up at my items every time. Never again. I will take my items to Goodwill before I will try to sell them there again.

I have never been particularly impressed with this store, but today was the last straw. My daughter and I were absolutely ignored while standing at the counter, merchandise and money in hand. The person working the register walked off without even acknowledging our presence. We thought she was coming back. She did, and then began talking to another worker and still ignoring us. If they don’t need my business, fine. There are plenty of other places in town, without having to fight the traffic on Woodruff Road.

I recently visited this store & had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and the prices were great ! I would like to point out the young lady with red braids who went above and beyond helping me find what I needed .I amazed and will be returning!

First time experience. Website isnt clear on the conditions. I had over 300 pieces of clothes. I had to wait over 2 hours for them to only take 30 pieces and a bouncer . Value for the clothes was stupid low. They were also very rude. I will not be back and I will not recommend this place to anyone.

Misleading made 2 trips from Anderson first time they said clothes they needed washing again.. then next trip they said the clothes were it if date. I had some of the same clothes as they. They bought 5 or 6 items out of 100 so if the ones they world not take were old out of date so were the one they bought. If u ask me they are out of date. Just look at the sign in front of the stir. Looks like it came from the dinosaur days

Took a suitcase full of brand new items to sell and they took all of the new items(13 to be exact) and left some of the used items which were only worn by my daughter once or twice and tried to give me $13 for 13 items. All of my daughters brand new clothing they tried to give me $1 a piece for them! My first time attempting to sell there and i definitely have to give this place a thumbs down.

Rudest staff on Earth. I try to be kind to everyone I meet and I realize everyone has a bad day, but the rude behavior in this store is the business plan. Just plain hateful. Not a huge selection of any one item, especially larger items (strollers, beds, furniture, outdoor/indoor play stations).EDIT: Store is in complete disarray. Items all over the floor at the entrance. Employees everywhere but seem to be just going through items. Dont expect much out of these employees when it comes to selling your items back. If it is missing even one arbitrary non functional peice that they see in the description online they wont accept it. very funny though because nearly every item in the store is missing some sort of piece to it, every toy Ive ever purchased from this location has always been missing something. Sometimes, if a toy is missing a part and they have another one of those toys theyll even allow you to rob the one with the peace to make one complete and the other missing all pieces. Im sure its their policy to not purchase anything thats missing any parts so the employees are only doing their job but the reality of it is that when youre missing one plastic ring to hang toys from on a jumper they wont purchase it.

Not much of a selection compared to the Columbia locations. Especially in boys clothes. Not many toys work or have batteries, so you don’t know what you are getting. Not a lot of bigger items like walkers, jumpers, etc. But employees are friendly and they have moved to a bigger space.Edit: We have boys and have taken several things to sell. But they don’t purchase much. They’re recently purchased clothes in good condition. And there’s not much to pick from at all for boys clothes when I needed larger sizes. I hope management makes different decisions for buying clothes, or else we cannot shop there anymore.

I had an appointment in Greenville today and thought I would visit the new store. While it is definitely bigger and nicer, the customer service was lacking. Not a single person greeted me, smiled, or even acted like they wanted to be there. I will stick to shopping at the Spartanburg location from now on.

Today was my first time trying to sell my items. The staff is rude and they have unhappy looks on their faces, like they dont want to be there. They told me the whole process and how my name would be on the board. I was given a time to come back at 130 and I showed up at 140. After 10 minutes of waiting I finally got asked if I was ready to check out. I told the girl I was there to pick up my items. She asked 3 times if my stuff was ready and 1 girl finally answered no itll be ready in 20 min. I seen my items sitting on the counter all thrown back in my container. I brought them folded and in place. So I waited 20 more minutes, came back in waited another 10 minutes to be greeted. I noticed my items were still sitting in the same spot but yet I was told they werent ready. Then they girl ask again about my stuff and brings me a paper saying they needed to be laundered. There was absolutely nothing wrong my items. There are kids they have allergies to scented detergent. Im confused on why you tell people that but then I notice holes and stains on items youre selling on your racks. Ive been a business owner and if I had this many complaints on my staff I would fix it or fire people before I lost business.

Despite of reading bad reviews about selling clothes to once upon a child, Im willing to give a chance and going in with over 80 pieces of branded clothes like Polo Gap Gymboree Carters very good condition in next couple of days. Hopefully they will pay what a branded lot deserves and will put another review how the visit goes, hope I dont get disappointed.. :)

Was a pleasant experience when we brought out daughters clothes to be purchased. Was really hoping to have more purchased but the needs at the time they had were not what we were offering. Hopefully next time.

Once upon a child in Greenville is the best. I have been doing business there since they opened. I have 4 small girls, and I want shop no other place. Bad business

If you have some time to spend you can find great deals on barely used, or occasionally new with tags, childrens clothing. Good place if you are searching for something in a particular size at a discounted price. Frustrating when sizes are out of order and make sure to check the entire outfit for any defects before buying! Also, some items are close to what you could pay for the same item in a retail store, but then some items are marked below what I expected. Large inventory of Boppy, Bumbo, Bjorn, etc.

Called looking for a specific item. I have two small children under the age of three so I did not want to strap my children in car seats and drive 30 minutes away just to see if they have this one item. They could have just as easily taken my number and called me back when they got a chance but apparently because they were short staffed, they did not want to help. Infinitely easier for them to look for a tuxedo than for me to come down with two babies and look. So rude! I could have shopped around looking for other items too but I would rather not give this place my business. Every other consignment shop I called was kind and professional. Not this one!

Rude,snobby and getting rich off taking advantage of people who may be desperate. Luckily, I was not..desperate. So, I declined their offer. Having three children, I am fully aware of whats fair in the buying and resale of childrens clothes. Some extra Christmas cash would have been nice but I will just continue to support my local consignment store here in Easley(ABCS AND 123S) who is more...than fair and professional, always. They do not..pay up front but....the return on doing business with ABCS in the long run would be a far greater return. I do not recommend supporting people taking advantage of people to get rich.

Very young unprofessional staff that don’t seem to be educated on children’s items. Giggling laughing on their cell phones. Took 45 mins to look at 3 items I brought in. Then another 15 mins for them to locate my items when I came back in.In response to your reply maybe I could believe that but these were peps all cell phone and I heard discussion of Facebook I don’t think looking up recalls and current selling prices is that entertaining and takes a group of 3 people.

Love this store!! We have 4 kids and 3 grandkids, so shopping here saves us money. The prices are great and the sales are awesome!!

I sell my clothes to them & they usually give me just what I need. I love purchasing clothes & shoes from them. Some are a bit overpriced but for the most part they are fair.

I usually love going there, but I went a few days ago and all of the girls were extremely rude, except ONE. There were about 4-5 girls working. I came in to sell some clothes and they told me it would be about 2 hours. That’s fine, so I go get lunch and come back. At the time they told me my items would be ready, I had to wait another FOURTY minutes because the girls were taking their precious time, dancing around and singing. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m all for having a good time at work, but these girls were CERY unprofessional! A girl who I’m assuming works there, cane I. To pick up a check and they were just talking and talking, dancing around. Knowing that I was waiting for my clothes.. the girl that was doing my clothes, went outside when I’m assuming was another girl that worked there came in. She followed the girl out for about 5 minutes. Comes back in, looks at me then just ignores me. I go over to ask when my items would be ready and she picks up the phone right in the middle of me asking. So when she got off I asked when they’d be done because I was told 30 minutes ago. She says “ummmm... maybe like 10 minutes. If that..” there was literally line 3 items left. Management clearly needs to rethink who they have working for them! I’ve never written a bad review, but my experience was awful! The girl that was actually doing her job, looked at me (I was standing to the side waiting and waiting) because she seen that I was getting irritated. And looks over at the girls who are just talking, then looks back at me. She knew what was going on. Then a girl came back from lunch and had to ring people up because there was a line waiting to check out. They def need to get it together!!!

I love the idea of this store. However, this store (Greenville, SC specifically) is terrible. I have tried multiple times to bring items to sell and am ALWAYS disappointed. They never buy any clothing saying that it is not in good condition (which is not true). I always find clothing on their racks that are stained and missing buttons but my clothes that are clean and not missing any buttons are never good enough. The last time I attempted to make a sale to the store they stated that because there was evidence I had an animal in my home they were not going to buy any of my items. Also, it is impossible to navigate the store if there are other people there. The aisles are ridiculously small and two people cannot fit side by side. How annoying to always be worried that you are blocking the entire aisle while you are trying to find clothes. Prices are way too high for a resale shop. I have seen granimals clothing for more then they cost at wal-mart. Go to walmart instead they have nicer things for a cheaper prices. I have tried to like this store. I LOVED both Charleston SC and West Ashley SC locations. Greenville is just the worst.

A little better and more spacious than the Spartanburg location, but still not somewhere I would recommend going. Prices arent as heavily discounted as I would expect, given the condition of the clothes. I would suggest going to the temporary consignment sales that come through occasionally.

This branch is HORRIBLE! I took two huge bags of name brand clothing and they barely took anything. Not only that, they got an attitude with my boyfriedn because the items werent in boxes (they were in trash bags). I DO NOT recommend this one. Ive used OUAC before when I lived in FL. This one was the worst and I will NEVER be back. Ill take my business elsewhere.I drove AN HOUR from Asheville to take clothes there. Not to mention that I inspected the clothing before taking it, so saying that the clothes were stained when I know for a fact they werent just makes you look that much less credible. If you want to sell old, dirty items instead of taking Carters items, knock yourself out. I will not drive an hour just to give you another chance to disappoint me yet again.

This location is the best! They have a great selection, but the staff is fantastic. If you are struggling to find something, they take the time to help or answer questions. I Iove this place.

Very disappoint. I stop by this shop to bring in some of my daughter and sons clothes. As I bring my stuff to the counter the lady gives me an attitude and says that the next time I bring stuff in, it needs to be in a box and not a bag. She then gives me a time it will be done so I left and came back. When I came back they gave me an offer for what they wanted to purchase. I accepted but asked what was the reason for the other stuff. She said they dont accept HOMEMADE clothes and stains! I went home and went thru the bag, they did not take any of my daughters clothes. They only took my sons 4 jeans and 2 pairs of shoe but left all the shirts. And let me just say this, my daughters clothes are all from boutique and higher end stores and my son still had gap and polo stuff they didnt purchase. My children rarely wear their clothes twice. Anyone who knows me knows that. I was very offended with their comment. I then posted all their clothes on Facebook market place and made $60 off both. So much more then if this place had purchased them anyways. If you ever walk into this store you already have a nasty dirty feeling already. Most of their stuff has stains and the toys arent even wiped clean. Look at the strollers next time and they are all dirty as well. I was just very surprised that they accept those stuff that they have selling in there and then pricing them so high. Rant over Ill never sell here again. Facebook is so much easier and better. Dont waste your time shopping here or selling here.

The prices in the store are good on big items, but I will not sell them anything. I would prefer donating for a good cause and a tax write-off.

I sold here for the first time today. I had alot of great name brand stuff my daughter out grew i knew it was a used clothing resale store so i knew i would get alot of money from my daughters clothes and rocking seat. I was very pleased with the money i got for them. I see alot of bad reviews which i looked at before i came but i wanted to try for myself. To me i feel like they are very fair on prices being offered considering they arent new. I will be coming back soon with alot more stuff ☺☺

Horrible service. The old lady that took my clothes was rude with me from the start. I wasn’t clear on the rules of having to bring clothes in a basket so I brought them in a bag and just because the clothes were wrinkled they didn’t want them. I won’t be back. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all

Reasonable prices on great condition kids clothes, shoes, toys,books, and equiment. This is my go to places to buy adorable items for my nieces and nephew.

I Tried to sell my childs clothes, went there to pick up the clothes they didnt want and they had given it to someone else, over 100 pieces of clothing. Then after a month of back and forth with them I got a $20 gift card for reimbursement. Worst service ever.

Only buys stingy cheap clothes. Alot of their merch is stained or has junk on it. Claims they dont have a big market for clothes for under 12 months yet that section is very limited. The stuff at the front of the store matches retail prices.

These 4 stars are for the clothes they sell. I do love the clothes they sell and have never bought anything with stains or holes from this store. My only complaint is SOME items can be overly priced sometimes and everything is tight to look through on clothes racks (may need a bigger store).My rating on staff is 3 stars, there are a few workers that are very friendly & know how blessed they are to HAVE A JOB while on the other hand there are some that just need to go back home, go to bed, practice manners & try again. Some can be rude, unprofessional & just plain lazy to look through clothes you sell.My rating on Selling my items is 2 stars. OUAC has wanted to purchase extremely items from me that I have sold WITH tags, still in style, within season for under $10. I do believe OUAC can do better than that because it leaves a bad impression, making one wonder that OUAC takes advantage of the seller.My last opinion is I believe OUAC should post on their website periodically what they are buying within that week or month. Because, I have come in there with clothes and they dont buy any of them not in season but website says we buy all seasons anytime, everyday. Might want to fix that. For one, I drive 1 hour & 15 minutes to sell to this place with Bags of clean, name brand clothes, a lot with tags on them & walk out with pretty much the same amount with unde $20 in my hand but sold over 20 items.Either way, I do like buying from the store but I do believe OUAC needs to work on this merchandise.
